"Eh, don't sweat it Aiami. You’re doing a lot better than me when I first got here." Though embarrassing, it was quite the comical experience, the lesson learned from that is 'always look where you’re flying'. "Seriously, at least you landed on the top of the thing. Thats a good start."Defrosch was quite surprised that Ninjin had openly agreed with him. Sure, his response was very thoughtful and logical but he never quite got used to people being on the same wavelength as him much less flat out agreeing with what he said. 'Huh. So this is what its like…'His train of thought took an unexpected detour into the brain-fart zone when Etoru spoke up, he sounded a lot better recently... Did the kid really not know what was going on with Maeve? Was he just fooling around? Defrosch gave a small chuckle, it was good to see Etoru acting like a young lad should once more- even if it was ever so slight. "Etoru thats how babies are born-- and before you go ahead and panic asking if Maeve ate a baby, thats also not how it works." He paused, looking between those that had gathered, with a slight nervous cough. "Don’t ask, I’ve had to explain this sorta thing to kids at a daycare I volunteer at... Also, uh don’t worry about the food, I sometimes bring some up here, but the place is magic and all, so… I’m pretty sure it restocks itself somehow. I bet you that there is a book in the library about that--" Defrosch almost went off into some sort of rambling state but went quiet when Maeve once again began to speak. He froze for a bit when she put a hand on his shoulder- this was certainly something he really wasn’t used to. "Home, eh?" Defrosch looked off into the distance, surveying some of the world below the platform. There was a sparkle in his eyes in that moment. Something only few could understand, he saw so much in this world and had not, until that moment figured out what it had meant to him. The answer was simple, right in front of him the whole time. "Yeah..." He turned back to the group, with a rather unexpected expression; a very genuine, unmistakable… Smile. "I guess it is."

Still very much out of her element, Aiami nodded in thanks to Defrosch’s compliment before she took the time to stay quiet, and listen. She had never found herself regretting doing so before, and figured she wouldn’t start now. The young monk heard from Core, then a woman she didn’t know, but who seemed to be in full support of Maeve, and finally Etoru. Though the child displayed his ignorance when he spoke up about the dragoness’ baby bump. Aiami couldn’t help but smile a little at his frankly humorous assumptions, but that was quickly wiped away when the kitsune stepped up to explain the situation to Etoru.
She remembered an instructor from her younger days who did something very similar. It was as unnerving now as it was then, and she decided to move into assist Etoru, kneeling next to him and looking up at the kitsune with a hopefully disarming smile. “He, ah… probably meant nothing by it, I’m sure.” She let Defrosch take it from there with his own explanation, raising a curious brow at its oddity, and his rambling for such afterwards. She stepped away from Etoru, satisfied he probably wasn’t going to be given the stern lecture she felt was coming before.
‘Craziness’ was perhaps an unflattering word to explain the situation, Aiami thought. But accurate. If ever there were an odd group of individuals, including herself, she thought, this was it. Not to mention they were still having a calm discussion on a floating sky platform, which still puzzled the young monk.
Nodding in approval to Maeve’s words, both about the world, and her child, Aiami took another look around at the gathered. “Defenders of Earth…” She said quietly, awe creeping into her voice. She definitely felt like the odd one out now, both in terms of raw strength and accomplishments. The rest of them belonged here, something she distinctly felt she had not yet earned.
It was a hard feeling to shake, though she was distracted by the grinning Arcosian. It was infectious, and she couldn’t help but beam back at him. “It’s not so bad, but the north gets a little too cold for my liking.” She joked.
((Sorry it took a few days))

All of these important-looking people around Core, especially Maeve, were giving him the sense that he had stepped on something above. First there was Ninjin, the person he knew the best, seemed like she was also part of all this, so the best thing Core could do right now is listen, learn, maybe even catch up some information that could be useful in the future, those Z-fighters are important matter for him since they are apparently the protector of Earth, some people that Core was kind of interested in joining, knowing that the Galactic Patrol apparently dissapeared recently, the young Arcosian would somehow needed a group of person, something, to guide him, he knew that he could easily do mistakes, he is still young and quite clearly had a hot-blooded temperament, if taunted, Core might not take the best decisions, but he’d have the purest of intention behind them, that’s for sure.
Then someone took Core’s attention kind of away from the crowd, the other child on the lookout, the one that Core though was going to explode earlier, he was now looking at Maeve, not saying a thing, and the more it was lasting, the more scarred Core would be, if he was there and no one would tell him to basically shut up in a lightly nicer way like Defrosch did to Core, then he was probably strong and important. When the other child finally spoke his first sentence, Core was on edge, what he said, the pause, he was probably going to blow up right now… but he didn’t… and suddenly, the Arcosian felt really stupid, though it didn’t let it appear that he was on edge, he knew himself that he doubted someone for some strange reason… which probably was the fact that the child was a saiyan… Core was a little angry at himself for that.
Then following event were even weirder as Maeve rushed toward Etoru with a visible aggressively, though it was apparently suppressed by the person behind her, so that’s why Maeve said she needed some ritual of some sort to become Kami, because she still had a temperament, something Core could understand at the very least, having that kind of comportment as well, though it would be hard to tell Core that he is fat like Etoru just did to her. The young Arcosian followed the actions with his eyes a bit amused, though when he saw Maeve’s smile to Etoru, his blood would freeze for a second, the woman he thought to be really nice and rather cute-looking was able to be scary after all, easily even, that was totally out of what Core would have believed, she seemed so nice at first, unable to harm anyone.
Then new guardian of Earth then started some sort of speech, first laying her glare on the young Arcosian child, making him blush lightly though he smiled at what she said, it was truly some craziness, without a doubt, but he somehow felt happy getting involved into it, all of those people seemed nice enough to make a good circle of friends, if they would accept him in of course, though he felt he wasn’t getting rejected by anyone other than Defrosch, or maybe Etoru, who gave him a discussed look at first, but again, coming from someone who would randomly call the pregnant guardian of Earth fat out of nowhere, it didn’t meant all that much did it? The speech ended itself and Core was left with a wide smile, it was so close to what he thought himself, at least, the part about protecting their beautiful home.
When Core heard Defrosch saying that Aiami, which was apparently her name, was doing much better than his own first time, Core just wanted to turn to him and show him his tongue, but that just would make him right about everything, and piss Core off even more. But the Arcosian couldn’t keep his hate on Defrosch a long time, as for the first time since he got here, the other Arcosian, seemingly confused about calling this place home, would earn Core’s compassion and understanding, he was a lost one, just like him, and maybe for Core it was easier to get over, he simply got adopted, got a home, some parents and a lot of friend, but maybe Defrosch got it harder, maybe it was the reason why he was so grumpy toward him after all, and Core felt bad for holding a grudge for that.
After a few moments, Core would hover a bit toward Maeve, seemingly, people had stopped for a moment to talk and he kind of wanted to do something, since he didn't seemed like he was taken all seriously by all the others around, maybe at the exception of Ninjin. When he got in front of Maeve, he would smile at her, hovering so that he could look at her at the same level, he would then gently put his hand on her shoulder. '' The thing you did, flaming the sky, the group you asssembled and your speechs... all of that... is totally awesome! I can't wait to see what will happen next with this group... well... if i'm allowed in that is!'' He would say with a polite yet amused ton.

Ninjin had finished talking when she made note of Etoru’s behavior. She could not help but feel for the young man because he continued to lose people that grew close to him. Like some type of vicious cycle against him. She had spoken to Mimikku about the young man and had learned about his sister and how they ran away. Then came everything else that happened to him. So she doubted that she could sympathize from the position that Etoru was inside of but she knew that she would be there to help prop him up should he actually lower his pride and let someone help him. Hearing him speak up brought her brow raising. Though it dropped as Etoru actually embraced Maeve. It seemed the small saiyan was still but a child beneath the layers of tough skin and bravado. When Etoru brought up the fat question Ninjin could not help but let out a chuckle. It was exactly something to be expected from a child and yet she found it amusing. When he asked Ninjin directly if she was fat before her face would glow a little crimson as she laughed louder. “You could say that Etoru… You most certainly could say that I was ‘fat’ at one time in the past.”
When Maeve reacted to Etoru Ninjin was honestly expecting some fireworks from the firebrand of a demoness. Turning her attention back to Maeve she smiled at her and bowed to her once more. When Maeve swore to help the planet at all costs Ninjin nodded at her. It was obvious that she would gladly fight with her because she had all of the right reasons. “Maeve if you call me and Toma to fight at your side we will fight with you. As we have a last ditch effort with my own sister to keep an eye on my children should anything happen to myself and Toma. So I already have things prepared for the worst of situations… I think Defrosch agrees with the sentiment of this planet being our home. As it is our home as the planet holds us all upon her surface. So we must do whatever it is we can in order to protect her from all who wish her destruction.”
Ninjin let out a chuckle at the mention about how the North was a bit too cold for Alami’s taste. For Ninjin she also did not like the Northern Tundra of the planet all that much but it was a welcome change of pace for herself when she tired of the heat and humidity of the Southern Islands. When Core brought up whether or not he would be invited to the group Ninjin turned a glance toward Maeve before turning her attention back to Core. “I would see no reason to not allow Core to join us. I see no reason any who are on the Lookout right in this moment would be excluded from the Zetto’s ranks.”

Post by Etoru on Jun 3, 2016 0:24:30 GMT
As Etoru mistaken Maeve's pregnancy with...being overweight, it seemed to have ticked Maeve off a bit. Her face flushed a bit which made Etoru blink blankly. She spoke his name aloud eerily which made Etoru take a teeny step back scratching his head with his finger awkwardly. "H-Heh...yeah...?" Oblivious as Etoru was, it wasn't hard to see Maeve's frustration and embarrassment to his little comment. But still, Etoru didn't understand what triggered that. It wasn't HIS fault that she let herself eat all that food. Within those few moments of Maeve's frustration, a hand would be placed over her shoulder. Etoru blinked, only to look behind her to see, a rather short in stature, fox demon. Staring into those deep emerald eyes of hers, Etoru felt the hairs on the back of his neck tingle. A cold sweat ran down his neck, a feeling of anxiousness. He's been in situations like these so many times he could practically already guess what was coming. Then a sudden realization came to mind! She was so short! Plus Etoru outclassed her! Pfft...she was nothing.
The child had a bit of a smug expression and his head turned. He grunted before cleaning out his ear with his finger stubbornly while the fox demon approached him with a fan covering her mouth. "Whut..." That's when she told Etoru the mistake he made. She was going to be a mother...? So...moms get a big belly when they have a baby...? "Oh gosh...did she eat a b--" That's when Defrosch cut those thoughts off explaining to him she didn't eat one. Etoru's cheeks reddened and he frowned at him really angrily. "I wasn't going to say that! What do you think I'm stupid or something!" Crossing his arms, he frowned looking at Akemi, which was probably one of the biggest mistakes he's ever done in his life. Her sweet, kind, loving smile, turned into an ominous, threatening, fear racking smile. Etoru felt a lump in his throat and swallowed nervously. "O-Of course...!" Turning to Maeve, arms at his sides, he bowed respectively very fast. "S-S-Sorry Ms.Maeve!" Looking up at that dangerous gaze of Akemi's, Etoru didn't really know what to do next. He felt like some boring lecture was going to happen and he was gonna get scolded like always. That was when that girl from the clearing, Aiami, came to his aid! Etoru blinked as she knelt down to his height trying to disarm the situation. Etoru gave a sheepish giggle as he felt like he was off the hook. "Geee thanks Aiami....heehee~"
Aiami then stood up and walked back to her original position leaving Etoru to just rest his arms behind his head. He stared up into the starlit sky's above and sighed. There was so much things going on, and even HE knew that they needed a leader. Once they lost their original leader, thing's just went downhill from there. Looking back at Maeve as she spoke, he smiled a bit. He felt happy for her that she feels at home and she wanted to protect her child. Etoru wasn't going to let her protect it alone though! He would make sure to take every precaution of her and her child's safety to the extreme! Snapping back to reality, Etoru looked over to Aiami and thought about having an addition of her onto the team. It'd be a great add on! She was a pretty cool person to be honest. Wasn't that how he met Defrosch as well...? A smile smile crept upon his lips as he remembered the good times when he almost blasted Defrosch to bits mistaking him for some statue or whatever.
Turning his head to Maeve, he blinked blankly when she mentioned the Zetto Senshi. "huh.." Etoru scratched his head confused. "Zetto what now...?" The child seemed confused as he only heard the group referred to as Z-Fighters and nothing else. "Sounds like a vegetable..." Maeve even offered Ninjin to join the Zetto Senshi as well! Ninjin however recommended Core join in, as well as Core asking to join in. Etoru scrunched his face up. "Uhhh, yeaaaah no. He doesn't even look like he can fight, and besides he'd scare all the people we wanna save to death with his weird face..." Acrosians sure looked weird. Defrosch was weird as well, with that awkward transformation thing. Gosh that was freaky!!!! But he wasn't THAAAAT ugly.annoyed tone.

Maeve frowned a bit as Core hovered into her personal space. The demoness took a step back to create some distance between her and the excitable little bugger as she crossed her arms. Her frown only grew as she looked back to Ninjin upon her recommendation that Core join the Zetto Senshi. Words of their earlier...Heated discussions echoed in her mind as she firmly shook her head. As leader, she was going to put her foot down.
"Absolutely not."
Her tone was curt and her gaze was sharp as she looked squarely to the other mother. "As you can most likely recall: I do not desire to put children into harms way. Most of the previous Senshi are either dead, missing, or even worse: dead AND missing. I will not subject children to these risks." She glanced toward Etoru. "Even with one that I'd almost consider my own I would not dare to expect him to fight such evils that the Senshi may face."
She turned her attention back to Core and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Sorry, young one, while you are welcome here today I would go back to your family when you can." She said moving away with a reassuring pat. She pulled her hand away while she turned to face the other newcomer. The friend of Defrosch.
"You however, seem like you hold potential." Maeve said as she walked over to the human fighter. While not too strong currently: Maeve could tell that she was a good, honest soul. Someone with heart; and she knew all too well the power that heart could bring. Maeve looked over the human for a moment before offering her a gentle smile. "I'm sure with Defrosch's recommendation we could find a spot for you among our ranks." She paused for a moment, cutting her gaze down as she bit her lip lightly. "If you would be up to it that is... I won't lie when I say that the road we walk is an easy one."
"And it won't get any easier." Akemi chimed in, moving away from Etoru and more towards the center of the grouping. The little fox demoness swayed her tails lightly as she surveyed the people gathered. "Things are changing, for everyone. Just be sure to remember: no matter what path you end up walking: you can't deny the changes in the road. For that is where you stumble and where you may find yourself lost." She said giving her sage advice with a bow of her head.

His talent for embarrassing himself aside, Defrosch was glad that he could boost Aiami’s confidence somewhat. Yet another oddity that he wasn’t properly used to; being truly perceptive of his subtly positive presence. "See, thats the spirit."
For a moment, Defrosch simply listened to the exchange between Maeve and the others. In the end, where he stood with this situation was clear. "Ninjin, while Im not against you and Toma becoming proper allies- and we all know there is much to iron out there- I'm with Maeve on this one. I won't condone recruiting children to this cause." He was being very straightforward, and it was good luck that Maeve said her piece before him or he would likely have been a bit less gentle about it. "To that end, I see ample reason as to why neither Core nor Etoru should be subject to that which we are likely to face. Their innocence is part of what we must protect as part of the bigger picture. It is simply as Maeve put it."
Defrosch glanced between Core and Etoru, giving his attention to the youngsters. "Now now, don't try agitating each other. Acting in such a way unbecoming of growing warriors such as yourselves." Defrosch would turn to the young Saiyan specifically for a moment, with slight disappointment in his voice. "Honestly, Etoru, I expected better behavior from you. Remember, dont underestimate others- especially regarding their looks." He would then move back to look over the group once again. Akemi's advice interested Defrosch; what she said was completely true, though in Defrosch's experience? Sometimes getting lost isn't all that bad.

Post by Aiami Lin on Jun 14, 2016 7:51:20 GMT
Core seemed very willing and eager to join this Zetto Senshi, what Aiami assumed was the name for Earth’s defenders. While there seemed to be support for this idea at first, Maeve had shut it down, fast. Aiami had to agree that children shouldn’t be involved in such things, but she wondered if there was perhaps an exemption to that. Feeling Core’s energy now, and remembering how strong Etoru was when she met him months ago… They were formidable in their own way. It made her feel a little self-conscious that two children so dramatically outclassed her.
The young monk snapped out of her thoughts when Maeve approached. The demoness seemed to be appraising her, and Aiami felt out of place under her gaze. She relaxed when Maeve smiled, but not for long. She was being invited to join the group, the Zetto Senshi, and the gravity of that didn't escape her. Here, now, among these people on a floating platform high in the sky, she got the distinct impression that didn’t happen everyday.
Aiami looked away, down toward the tiles of the Lookout, as she thought about her choice. “Defenders of Earth…” She quietly echoed herself. She looked up at Akemi as she spoke, nodding at her advice, considering it as she continued to internally deliberate.
A few seconds passed before she looked up hesitantly, decision made. “I must decline.”
“For now.” Aiami added quickly. “Truth be told, I’ve been trying to decide for awhile what I would do with my strength. I love pushing myself to get better, that’s part of martial arts… but what’s the point of that power if it’s not being put to good use? Defending Earth sounds like a very worthy purpose, and thinking on it, I believe that is what I want to put my skills toward. But…”
She sighed. “I am not ready for the responsibility. I am not strong enough to match up to anyone here.” She gestured around. “I will get stronger, I know this. But right now? Were the Saiyans to come back?” She shook her head. “I doubt I would be able to defend very much at all.”
“Beside that, there is still more I want to do. I set out from my home months ago with the hope to join the Turtle school. In that time, I’ve nearly died at the hands of a bio-android, got lost in the countryside, returned home, helped a vigilante, ended up here, and so much more in-between. I still have yet to come close to accomplishing my original goal. As well, I still want to see more of Earth.” She allowed herself a small laugh. "It should be easy with the ability to fly, but when everything is new, where do you start?"
“I thank you for the offer, however.” Aiami nodded, letting out a breath now that she had said her… lengthy piece. It had been wordy, but she wanted to explain why she had refused. She felt she owed that, at least.

Post by Core Stold on Jun 14, 2016 18:57:11 GMT
Etoru’s ignorance was truly making people react in an hilarious way, as Core noticed with he saw Ninjin’s reaction, her face was all red and she was laughing, truly something he had never seen before and which made him laugh a bit as well, even if he neither didn’t understood fully well the reproduction of the humans, he knew why they were growing fat at some point, but it seemed like Etoru got the classic ‘I’ll tell you when you’re older’ treatment Core was given every time he was asking something further than that, which was truly annoying. A bit later, after Ninjin spoke about her and Toma being ready whenever there would be a threat on Earth, Core would be touched by her standing in and saying that he would be a good zetto senshi, making him blush lightly at the mention and smile brightly and up to Maeve. ‘’ T-thank you Ninjin, for taking my side, you really are the best master around!’’ Core would say amusingly to her, his aura warming up a bit the lookout, it was some sort of secondary effect of his fiery aura that he was releasing, hoping everyone to remark just how strong he was and how useful he could be.
This young Saiyan again… this time, he was directly mocking Core and saying he was unable to fight, how dare he did that while being weaker than him? The young Arcosian would take a few steps in the saiyan’s direction before stopping right in front of him. ‘’ Excuse-me? Not able to fight? You might want to look for glasses then, because you can’t judge people, and yes, I do scare a lot of people when I save them, but usually when I’m done saving them, they stop being judgmental, you know, because I just saved their life and their family’s as well.’’ Core would say, staring in the hybrid’s eyes deeply, with a bit of anger sparkling inside, not too much, but enough to let him know that he wasn’t pleased with his statement. ‘’ At best, we can be friend, and rival, and I don’t really mind that you think I’m ugly, most people do and at this point I don’t care, and I really wish we can get along… but if you’re not willing to make a bit of an effort, then I won’t either, so please respect the fact that I’m not like you, and I’ll respect the fact that you are weaker than me.’’ Core would finally tell him, in a still polite voice, though a bit annoyed.
Core’s concentration was then interrupted by Maeve, whom simply spoke out her denial of him joining the Zetto Senshi, just like that. Core was surprised, but curious, he didn’t wanted to whine, because it would also give reason to Defrosch, but he listened, hoping she would give him a reason why he wouldn’t be able to join the Z-Fighter as they were called. When hearing her reason, Core would nod lightly, it was a respectable choice, but Core simply couldn’t help but tell her something. ‘’ You’re right Maeve, we shouldn’t be putted in that kind of danger… but I was told to protect this planet, and I hold it so dearly that I would even if I wasn’t told to do so, not being a part of the Zetto Senshi won’t stop me from being a defender of Earth. So expect me around whenever a threat comes to Earth, and don’t hate yourself for it, there is nothing stopping me from defending this planet, but I’ll respect your decision and will try not to interfere if it’s a minor thing you guys can handle on your own.’’ Core would tell her, bowing to her politely before going back to the crowd. When the other fox-like girl came in play for her speech, Core would smile a bit. [ It’s the reason we get stronger isn’t it? To be able to keep up with this ever-growing evil~]He would think, not wanting to add anything because then he might just be talking too much for someone who wasn’t supposed to be here, and even someone who wasn’t accepted in the Z-fighters.
When Core heard Defrosch speak of his innocence, Core would turn his head quickly to him and smile toward him, he was right. Core was just now starting to become a real Earth’s child, getting a little more childish and less experimental fighting machine by the days, but even if they wanted to protect that, there was no reason to, Core already had a hard shell to do it, and he wouldn’t let anything pierce through it. Then he saw Aiami’s denial upon joining the Z-Fighters, which amused him a bit as she said sshe wasn’t strong enough, he would hover to her and put a hand on her shoulder. ‘’ Not strong enough? I recall seeing your beating the crap out of an evil martial-art user, you’re strong enough to handle minor threat while the stronger member handle the big ones, that’s not something you should under-estimate. ‘’ Core would say, winking to her as he revealed his secret identity, hoping that he could boost her moral and confidence overall, he didn’t wanted her to miss the chance of training with those guys and becoming stronger, plus all of what he did was true, she could help a lot.

Post by Ninjin Nedrag on Jun 14, 2016 19:32:39 GMT
As Alami and the others seemed to calm down Etoru from the rather funny misunderstanding that had occurred Ninjin took the moment to take a deep breath and let it go. She was rather happy for the goings on on the platform of the Lookout and yet she could not help but feel that things were just off kilter. Like things should be different and this day should not be a somber day but a joyous day. The back and forth between the others was interesting and yet at the same time her mind wandered on to just what it was that her cousin was doing in the moment. Something just bit at her mind of what if’s and what could have been had the pair talked for longer alongside the river on that day. Would Ninjin of become one of her commanders in the Empire or would she of converted her cousin to helping defend the planet from outward and inner adversaries like the former Realigner. When Maeve raised her voice and told Ninjin what she felt about Core and Etoru joining she sighed and spoke out loud. “Maeve they are going to be there no matter what we want. Etoru for the honor of his fallen masters and to seek revenge for what became of them and Core because he has expressed to me on many an occasion about his drive to protect this planet. You think me uncaring and unmoving but I am looking at this in the manner of realistic stakes. They will be at the battle… They will fight there at this battle. There is a chance that one or both of them will die there but who better to help prepare them for this than us… I would take them both and train them if I had the strength to stand before them at full power but I am still nowhere near recovered and back to my peak. As for innocence… I think that the destruction of Kold and the things that I have been told about Etoru and have seen him speak of. Mean that both of their innocences have long since been stolen from them by my cousin and the Empire proper…”
She spoke her peace to both Maeve and Defrosch because it was plain in her eyes as she has seen the conviction inside of both the younger ones eyes before. She had seen it inside the eyes of Daiki, of Zexama, of Articho, of all those that she had trained in the past. They wanted someone, anyone to believe inside of them and their strength. Ninjin was no dummy as she felt the extent of the strength that was within the children there. The two alone would be able to take all the rest on the Lookout and barely break a sweat. Yet she knew that if honed right that those two could be easily the ones that could turn an invasion of certain death into a even fight. When Alami turned down joining the Zetto she could understand why. This was incredibly massive for someone so new to the dwelling upon the top of the world. Though as she spoke about joining the Turtle School she smiled and looked directly at her. “You do not need to join it properly… As you have the former Hermit standing before you Alami. I would be honored to train you some inside the ways of the Turtle until the current Hermit returns to the planet and can properly train you in the ways of the current school.”
Taking in another deep breath Ninjin began to pace across the tiled flooring as she was fully expecting the others to react rather harshly to how absolutely blunt she had been earlier. As to her this was not a black and white, yes or no situation. This situation would need every able bodied man, woman, and yes even child to fight against what was to come. Cause if they did not the world would fall into darkness with the Queen being able to snuff out any and everyone that would be able to stand up to her. Standing tall Ninjin would not shirk back from the barbs she was going to receive. “Maeve, Defrosch you can hate me for the words spoken but do not deny the fact you both can see that these mere children are stronger than all of us gathered here. They for their short time have managed to gather immense strength and now they wish to assist us in defending the world that they love as much as we do… Who are we to deny them that right to do so?”

Etoru stared with dull eyes at Maeve and the gang. A grin grew on Etoru's face when Maeve turned down Ninjin's recommendation for Core joining. "Ha!" Serves him right. What makes him think HE has what it takes to become a Z-Fighter. When she spoke on about her reasoning, her gaze turned to face Etoru. Etoru blinked when she said even he wasn't allowed to go fight in battles. "W-Wait whaa?! B-B-But but...!" The child slumped his arms in defeat. That was so unfair...! He could save tons of lives...Etoru saw no reason why he couldn't fight in super cool battles. And besides, if this rule was in place, how would he even fight Zucceta and avenge his friends? Etoru pouted. "But Maeeeeveee" He whined. "That isn't even fair...I can join in on awesome fights too, I have the title of 'Z-Fighter' for a reason! Helloooo~"
The young hybrid crossed his arms stubbornly. Maeve began inviting Aiami into the crew...which actually excited Etoru. She was a really cool person. Sure he only met her once, but she was really fun to talk to! However, Etoru cut that thought aside as he turned to Defrosch. He blinked blankly at the Acrosian. He seemed to agree with Maeve as well which sort of annoyed Etoru. But not only that...he was picking that loser Core's side...! Etoru had a smug look on his face as he turned his cheek away. "Eh...Underestimating...? Too be honest I think I was OVERestimating..."
It wasn't until he turned his attention back to Aiami where he was really surprised. She denied the offer! But why would she do that....? This was a great opportunity to become some super duper amazing defender and she just says no...? It wasn't until she further explained that it was because she believed she wasn't 'strong enough'. Etoru glared at Core when he started telling her that she should handle the minor threats while they handled the big ones...well that sure was encouraging. "Yeah that'll sure help her..." Etoru said sarcastically. "Don't listen to him Ms.Aiami! Being a Z-Fighter doesn't mean you have to be super strong, all you need is that unbreakable will to protect everyone and everything on this planet!" Pointing a finger at her, he smirked. "Real power doesn't come from training. It comes from the heart, and that's why all those big bad jerks always lose noooo matter what." Sure Etoru's claims maaay have been a bit childish, but he was partially right. Who knows, maybe he was 100% right. But hopefully, Aiami would take those words into consideration and just give her that small push to join the Z-Fighters!
It didn't take long before Core stomped right over to Etoru. Etoru had a bored expression on his face. His eyes were half open and his mouth slightly gaped as he watched the acrosian approach him. Coming to a stop, he started to rant at Etoru. As he ranted at the young hybrid, Etoru began to clean his ear out with his finger. When he finished talking about that weird family saving thing Etoru looked at him with dull eyes. "You done...?" And of course, on perfect timing, he continued to rant again. Etoru held a bit of a laugh when he offered to be his friend, much less, rival. It wasn't until he told him to respect him, and then he'll respect the fact that Etoru was weaker than him. Even though Etoru's power was very well suppressed, he couldn't help but feel annoyed. "Weaker than you?! I can kick your butt anywhere, anytime, and any day!" Etoru snarled. Squatting slightly, he pointed a finger at him angrily. "Who even invited you here! Do you want to go! We can go right now hotshot!" Etoru's power jumped to 266,975 while wielding a white, furious aura. His brown fuzzy tail swayed left and right behind him angrily.

Though many things had occurred in the past few moments, Bing wasn't able to keep track of all of it. His mind was too focused on Etoru. He was talking to that strange Arcosian boy, and it seemed they were getting into an disagreement of some kind. From his location, he could only make out bits and pieces of the conversation, but it sounded like Core was talking down to Etoru!
"That little brat... How dare he try to talk to Etoru like that! I'll kill him, I swear I will!"
In all honesty, Core wasn't actually doing anything all that bad, but Bing wasn't exactly the most rational thinker in his current state. He saw someone disagreeing with someone he cared deeply for, and that was more than enough reason to want to end that persons pitiful existence. His metallic fist clenched, eyes narrowing as he sidled a bit closer to the group, hoping to get a better view of the situation.
A sudden flash occurred, and Etoru's power shot up! His power was mighty, even without a Super Saiyan power-up. Etoru's energy rising probably meant his disagreement with Core was reaching a violent point. He couldn't tell the exact context from here, but Etoru shouted something about fighting, which activated something instinctual inside Bing.
Without thinking, Bing flew forwards, letting out a furious roar as he exited his hiding spot. He shouted towards the Arcosian, leg pulled back as he closed in.
"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH ETORU YOU LITTLE GREMLIN!!!"
Aura flaring, Bing's leg thrust forwards, aiming to kick Core right in the face. Should the attack land, Core would be launched skyward, most likely sent a few miles away from the Lookout due to the difference in power.
Regardless of the outcome of the attack, Bing would land on the ground, seething with anger. He'd stand still for a few moments, before blinking awkwardly, and surveying the area around him. Only now did he realize he'd revealed himself to the entire group. His face grew bright red, a mixture of extreme embarrassment, and anger at his own lack of thought.
His attention shifted to Maeve, and his heart sank. How could he have let her of all people see him like this?! His body suddenly felt cold. He needed to get out of here quickly, or else he might do something even stupider than what he'd just done. Bing slowly stepped away from the group, stumbling over his words as he tried to explain himself. "O-oh uh... Would you look at that? The little Arcosian child is in serious pain! Someone should go help him! I need to um... Catch the next... Train-bus! Yes! Train-bus! See you all later!"
Without another word, the Cyborg shot into the sky, before quickly dipping down below the Lookout. With any luck, he would get away without getting chased.

The world slowed to a standstill as the hybrid of flesh and steel made it's presence known. Despite the half mask and garish red eye Maeve recognized her fiance rather instantly. In that moment, all other thoughts had ceased as they all paled in comparison to the very sight. His vicious attack was launched before she could even do anything. She felt powerless and crushed seeing just what sort of beast he had become. He was hatred, he was rage, he was a paragon of everything he once stood against. As she stood before him, she could only let her mouth slip open as she tried to form some sort of words. Yet, she could not find a voice. When he spoke after looking upon her, she felt a twinge of pain ripple through her form. His words, for a brief moment, allowed his true self to shine through the marred reflection that faced her. A feeling of warmth spread through her and caused her heart to flutter only to dissolve when he pulled away leaving her hollow once more. She reached a hand out to him in a futile effort to prevent him from leaving as he escaped into the distance. She stared to the scar burned upon her hand as she watched his light fade away. "Bing..." She breathed, her vision blurring with hot tears that rolled down her cheeks. "Don't go..." Her hand fell to her side as she let her head hang low. She trembled as she willed herself to be strong but couldn't help but let the tears flow freely. Her scaled tail flicked back in forth as her heart pounded with sorrow, rage, and a tiny bit of happiness upon seeing her fiance once more. Her headfins and ears sagged downward as she brought a clawed hand to her face and turned away. "D-damnit...I'm sorry everyone..." She uttered before hurrying away towards the entrance of the lookout. "Maeve!" Akemi called out as she watched her pupil go. She bit her lip before glancing over to Defrosch. "Make sure the children are alright." She glanced to both Ninjin and Aiami. "You two, don't try going after him, either help Defrosch or leave. I don't know if Maeve will be able to continue any other discussions as she is now." She simply said, implying that any 'business' was done with for now. "I'll go see about calming Maeve down... Thank you all for coming." She said giving the grouping a bow. Maeve has run off! -Attempted Thread exit- -Zeni Please-

"Ech, don't sweat it, Aiami. If you feel like you need to figure out some more things-- well, you do you, y'know?" Defrosch gave the nervous human a thumbs up. "So no rush. At least you know where t'find us."
The Arcosian patiently waited for the discussion to continue before quickly realizing that his patience was thinning. He was thankful for noticing, otherwise he would've likely exploded while far too enraged to think clearly if he wasn't growing more aware of himself each day. "Mmh. Now, if you'll excuse me..."
Defrosch scowled at the two bickering children; Core and Etoru, a shadow coming over his eyes... He might look rather ominous to some people like this. In order to get their attention, he would have to probably need to project his voice and he knew exactly how to do it; by carefully channeling his ki! Defrosch closed his eyes and took a deep breath to focus as his ki built up in his chest, rather proud of himself for thinking of this plan. He put two fingers on his neck to stabilize the flow of ki. Unfortunately however, a sudden shift in the wind- something rushing straight past him caused him to lose his balance, and just as he attempted to speak...
"GG-AAHH~CHOOOO!!!"
He would let out the loudest, possibly most embarrassing sneeze anything the universe could have mustered. Falling straight on his ass, with his ears ringing, he would miss out on the sudden arrival of an old friend and Maeve retreating into the lookout...
