Habana was quite happy that she had put up the money to acquire vessels that made it possible to move through the stars mostly undetected, it provided her with the assurance that she could take action without being intercepted by unsavory forces. Kanassa had been the first time she had made use of her ship and it had accomplished exactly what she had hoped by masking her arrival and also allowing Jala to begin evacuating the Kanassan’s without anyone knowing she had arrived either though it was perhaps not a necessary precaution as none of the assembled warriors were particularly interested in stopping that had things gone differently it would have also provided Jala with a means to escape the planet undetected. Since Kanassa Habana had made a concerted effort to expand her forces to start actively bringing on established soldiers to aid her work, Jala had been continuing Habana’s efforts to seek out new recruits and had done well bringing on Zoraba and Shemha. Habana meanwhile had recruited two of her own soldiers, armed with a ship of similar design they had joined her on this trip. Gin, the red headed hybrid was coming along well in his training he had been just a bit above average before but since being taken on as effectively a secretary he’d started to flourish under Jala’s training having Akushi as a rival also helped quite a bit. Today her newest recruits would hopefully get a chance to see a bit of justice be done, it had frustrated Habana for so long that those who had turned their back on the Empire and more importantly on HER had either escaped justice, or been dealt with by those outside the Empire. She’d thought for a long while that they had all met such an end. But then she had received a call. Pin had made a venture out to Namek to check in on its stability and in doing so had taken down a rogue Oozaru who was mindlessly destroying a Namekian villiage. During this battle however he had encountered a saiyan, while Habana had done a bit of research into the Invasion to see what exactly had led to so many defeats she had not put her all into it, the Invasion brought forth too much anger in her to view its fights at length, but Pin had an almost obsessive interest in the Invasion. He knew most if not all of those who had fought, among them he knew very well those who had turned on the Empire. The bulk of the defectors had been those under the title of the ‘Natto Squad’ lead by the boy who had served briefly as interim Commander. Habana had been apart of that squad but as luck would have it her friendship with Zucceta had lead the Queen to place her in the invasion group alongside her rather than with her squad mates. Habana had known MOST of the squad quite well, she’d considered them all friends on some level though her view of Natto was more a one sided rivalry than anything else. But there had evidently been one more member of the squad, someone acquired by Natto before the invasion but whom Habana had not gotten the chance to meet before they had turned traitor. Recorded under the name Riku he had turned just as the others had, but from her conversation with Pin he had finally been found and much to Habana’s pleasure he was very much alive. Which lead to Habana’s current status as the two pod’s containing herself, Jala, Gin, and Akushi opened just outside of the Moori Capital, far enough to cause no direct harm to anyone or anything outside of a couple of craters. Gin and Akushi were out and about already, the Heran hybrid pestering Gin about something while Gin did his very best to not let himself get riled up. “You ready Bana?” Jala spoke up knowing more than anyone else how eager Habana had been to track down the traitor. “I’ve been ready for something like this for a LONG time mother.” Habana said pushing herself up out of the seat and with a flip she exited the Eclipse landing before Gin and Akushi a single glance at the two of them being enough to get them focused and to put an end to Akushi’s antics. “Boy’s, today we’re seeking out a traitor, information indicates he is here on Namek as Pin has not sent anything along to indicate any departing ships, I hope I need not stress that the Namekians themselves are our allies, they likely have no knowledge that he is a traitor to the Empire so no aggressive action against the locals unless provoked.”With a gesture Habana turned on her heels and began walking away from the pods and towards Moori Capital, Jala falling in line beside her and Akushi and Gin behind them “Moori Capital is the largest Namekian village so it will be our stop, with any luck our very presence will flush him out, Gin you take my scouter, you and Jala keep an eye out for any high power level movement within the range of your scouters, Akushi you’ve got good eyes so keep them on the general area for anyone acting strange.” her trio of allies each providing a ‘yes commander’ just as they began making there way into the Capital.

[Thread PL: 78, 058]
Pacing through Moori Capital's destroyed section, the saiyan searched for any injured Namekians, or anything of value to bring to the village. He crouched near some rubble, using his staff for support. He had been given the staff by one of the councilmen, saying it was something they had stored for some time. It wasn't like his blade, but it would do nonetheless. Failing to find anything, the saiyan stood once more and continued his search elsewhere. His time on Namek had been rather peaceful, other than that one incident with the Oozaru. He still wondered about two of the specimens that helped in containing the beast.
One had the appearance of an old man, human old man, that is. The other looked rather...mechanic. Riku couldn't quite get how an android would be fighting for the SSE, yet say Namek was under their protection. He shook his head, not wanting to believe it. If it were true, he would have to be cautious not to attract anyone who he knew was an SSE soldier. His encounter with Mayze taught him that.
His hair blew wildly in the small breeze, and just as he crouched once more, his scouter beeped rapidly, a power level appearing nearby. Seconds later, another one slightly lower made his scouter beep. Then two others much lower. All were headed towards the capitol. The saiyan sucked his teeth, not knowing if they were good or not. He rushed towards the center of Moori and hovered above the capitol. He scoured the area, waiting for the people bearing these power levels to appear.
"If they came with bad intentions it'll be difficult to deal with them all, even if I transform. Besides, they could probably transform as well...I need to lure them away from Moori if they came for a fight." The saiyan placed his staff in front of him and held it with both hands. He floated in that stance, awaiting these vessels.

It was interesting to see the reactions of the Namekians of Moori Capital once they began to notice that a group of Saiyans was making there way through the Capital, some looked nervous, others just curious, the Namekians and the Empire had a rather interesting history, generally speaking peace was a constant between them, the old treaties between Namek and the Empire had been done as written proof that the Empire would not take arms against Namek and truthfully it had no real reason to. Namek certainly had it’s share of strong and unique warriors what with the Namekian skill for the mystical arts but all they really seemed to want was to be left alone. The sort of agreement forged between the various worlds in the Empire and the Saiyans would not be one that they would be likely to be overly fond of as it would necessitate that when the Saiyans went to war they would need to drop their peaceful habits to take up arms as well.
So rather than Namek being a piece in the SSE war engine they were instead simply friends of the Empire, so long as they never took a stance against it there was no reason that the Empire would need to stand against them. Vi-Poi’s attack on Namek had been unfortunate but in the end it almost ended up as a benefit for the Empire as once Namek returned it had prompted a renewed interest in the planet, Mayze and Pin were sent and it was lucky that they had as the duo repelled some sort of attempt at a coup by the Mazoku clan aided by several other powerful warriors of non-namekian origin. If such an event had been likely to occur even if Namek had not been destroyed it was very likely that nobody would have been around to prevent it.
“Commander, strong signature elevating above the village. General body shape indicates non-Namekian, very likely to be a Saiyan, most likely the man you are seeking unless Namek has a higher non-Namekian population than we assumed” Gin spoke up pulling Habana from her thoughts. “Very good, you two keep low and prepare to defend the Namekians if necessary, assuming he doesn’t surrender I’ll aim for a fight outside the village but who knows how he will respond. Jala, with me” Habana spoke her orders and with a brief affirmation Gin and Akushi broke off from them slowly moving to mingle in among the Namekian people.
With Jala at her side Habana began a slow walk in the direction of the target eventually her steps would begin taking her into the air in order to meet with him more directly, while the other saiyan and Jala floated in the air with ease Habana appeared to quite literally be walking in the air stepping higher as if on a set of invisible stairs, Habana slowly flexed her hands as they drew closer and it became more apparent that they were in fact dealing with another saiyan, one who fit the physical description of Riku along with matching up roughly with what Habana remembered from her review of the invasion battles.
As it stood her was quite a bit stronger than Jala which meant that at least for the time being her mother's job would mainly be to keep an eye open in case he had any other allies about and to keep them away from the battle if there was one. “You made this nice and easy putting yourself up so high in the centre of the capital. You are Riku, correct?” Habana asked not feeling inclined to tiptoe around the idea that she was in fact here specifically for him.

As he waited his scouter indicated the group inching forward. For a few moments they must have paused, and then two of them became distant until he could no longer get their readings. The other two continued forward, almost as if aiming to reach him. The leader gripped his staff tighter, a bit worried that they were planning to take him from all corners. As the power levels came closer, he finally saw a figure, and one right beside that one.
The figure he kept his eye on seemed to be walking on air, as if they were on imaginary stairs. The one next to it had lengthier hair, and wore saiyan armor. His eyes widened, dread filling him. He was, in a worst case scenario, going up against soldiers of the saiyan Empire. "Fuck... These two I'd have enough trouble with...But plus the other two? There's a slim chance I'd come out victorious." As the person walking on air came closer, Riku realized she was a woman.
He was put up against two women, and high ranked at that. However, the stronger one gave off something familiar. He had seen her before...and she fit the description of someone that he had been told about long ago. The thought was killing him, he had to know who she was. Her words suddenly pierced through his mind, his name coming out naturally in her voice. The saiyan in black nodded, confirming he was the one they were looking for.
"Aye, that is me. A...pleasure, I guess. Before we get to why exactly you're hear...I'd like to ask something. Have we ever met? You seem vaguely familiar, yet I know I haven't exactly...seen you. Also...There were more here, four of you to be exact. Are the others hiding?"

Thread PL: 2,500
The trek to Moori Capital had been a relatively quiet one, at least compared to the first few days after his release. Thanks to his intense meditation session, Sabika felt in full control of his mind once more. Only a sense of trepidation about what he would find when he arrived at the capital was bothering him, but that was to be expected. It was one thing hearing about the devastation wrecked to the once great city, it was entirely another seeing it in person. At least now Sabika knew what he needed to do, he had a purpose, or more accurately an aim. Firstly he would help Namek and it's people however he could, using the training of his youth to do so. More importantly, he would begin to learn how to fight. This decision had been the biggest revelation of his meditation. The old ways were gone, at least for now. A peaceful life wasn't an option, so Sabika would learn to fight so he could help protect Namek, something that the status quo had been unable to do. As evidenced by the sight before him.
What was once the pride of Namek, now took on the appearance of a shanty town. Displaced Namekians had used whatever they could find to rebuild their homes around the destruction that had once been their capital. These people had all been going about their everyday lives, until the action of a few destroyed everything they held dear. That was why Sabika couldn't turn his back fully on the old ways. As a member of the Dragon Clan and a trainee priest as well, he had the ability and more importantly, the desire to help. At times like this Namekians needed all the help they could get. Maybe one day, if his training was successfully, he could protect Namek before harm came to its people.
Sabika approached the closest shanty house. Two Namekians were outside, one was working on the house itself, the other was stood with his back towards Sabika. The trainee priest wasn't exactly sure how he would help these people, but often time, just listing to their troubles can be help enough. He was just about to greet the pair of Namekians, when he was cut off by the one facing away from him.
"Not again"
Dread laced his voice as it wavered slightly. The other Namekian stopped working, stepping around the house to look up into the sky above the capital.
"Why can't they leave us alone? Haven't they done enough to us?"
Sabika followed the Namekians gaze, high above the rubble, several people floated in the air. They were quite some distance away, afterall Sabika was on the outskirts of the city, while the figures floated nearer to the centre. Yet it was close enough to be able to make out some key features. Mostly that one of the figures was Riku, the leader of the Warrior Clan and defeater of the raging Oozaru. Sabika couldn't recognise the other figures, yet they wore the same uniform he had seen before. They must be part of this SSE, whatever that is, but why are they confronting Riku if they are under orders to protect Namek?
Something was going on, something Sabika didn't fully understand. However, despite being from differing clans, there was always a great deal of respect between them. If the leader of the Warrior clan needed help, then Sabika would do his best to offer it. He quickly broke into a sprint, nipping past the two Namekians and into Moori Capital. Soon rubble began to pile up in his way, forcing the Namekian to begin hopping from stone to stone. Without the ability to fly, the best he could hope for, is to get near enough to help, somehow.

Habana’s lips quirked into a small grin as Riku asked if they had ever met, the answer was, to the best of her knowledge, no. She’d never properly met Riku though from how he spoke it was likely that one of the others had spoken of her to him, perhaps Natto while recruiting him had mentioned the others on the Force, he or Aspa seemed the most likely of the trio to bring her up. If not them then Habana was unsure, perhaps they HAD met prior to the invasion and simply not directly interacted. “The others are down below, not hiding per-se, neither is capable of masking their signature so if you can sense energy you’ll find them quick enough, they likely possess a higher power than the average Namekian but are quite out of the league that the three of us are in at the moment” Habana said putting just a touch of stress on ‘at the moment’ to signify that she was aware that Riku was not at his full power, evident enough from footage of the invasion even if she had no hard numbers on his potential strength.
It also served to inform Riku that both Habana and Jala were similarly not at full power, in an ideal world Riku would at best be capable of doubling his strength making him not even capable of overpowering Jala if things got messy. “I’d advise keeping your attention up here where it belongs though, Gin and Akushi have strict orders to cause no harm to the people of Namek provided they are not provoked.” Habana was unsure if Riku did actually care whether the duo had any ill intent for the Namekians but if he did she wanted that concern removed so as to keep his attention.
“Now on to your most important question. Have we met.” Habana smirked again “Technically, no we have not met at least I do not recall having directly interacted with you before. But I do know you, and I believe you might know of me as well. We shared a couple of friends in common”
“I say shared rather than share because they stopped being friends when they decided to betray the Empire. The fact that they are also now quite dead is also a good reason for the past tense usage.” the more she spoke the less friendly Habana’s tone became as she spoke of the betrayal her eyes narrowed into a glare set directly on Riku.
“It was really quite surprising to learn there was a member of the ‘Natto Force’ that I had not met, I suppose things were a bit crazy back then and I was not in the habit of owning a scouter so it stands to reason I might have missed a few meetups. Oh well”
“My name is Habana, I’m here to bring you in for treason, but I’d like you to do me a BIG favor” Habana paused flexing her hands to keep control “resist. Because I really want an excuse to start punching you right now, I’ve got a whole lot of rage pent up from you bastards turning on the empire and more specifically the others for abandoning me, you aren’t them but I bet you’d make for a fair outlet for a little while”

The saiyan slowly waited as the saiyaness responded to his questions. His eyes were fixated on the one closest to him, the one he found familiar. Riku's suspicions grew as she began to smirk now and then. As he inquired earlier, there were indeed more of them here, but as she stated were currently down in the capitol. To Riku's relief she had ordered them not to cause harm, and he knew the Namekians wouldn't provoke them. Nodding at her in approval of her order, the saiyan held his staff to the side with one hand and stretched out his other, a bit of stress being lifted off him. However, the danger was still there. From what Riku could understand, the woman knew Riku wasn't near his full power, and she even implied that they weren't either.
He folded his arms next, wondering what she would say about his earlier question. She responded quickly, a firm no escaping her. Of course, there always came some sort of but. She revealed that she had knowledge of him, and that he probably has knowledge of her as well. He raised an eyebrow in curiosity, wondering what she was speaking about exactly. A few moments later she revealed that they had once shared the same friends, and that they had betrayed the empire.
Instantly, the invasion replayed in his mind. All occurrences; the death of Aspa, Jarvis' attack heading straight for Riku, Natto saving him, Tomoroko being taken our of her Oozaru form. It was all so vivid, and his face was clearly pained. He hated remembering that hell. Noticing Habana speaking again, he shook off the memories and listened intently. And right there, she confirmed it, she spoke of the Natto Force. She herself stated she was surprised there was a member she hadn't met. Then, she stated she was Habana. The leader's eyes widened, awed by those words. He played back Aspa having spoken of her, a warrior who was as talented as any of them, and a member of the squad. Eyes squinted, his suspicion rose as he realized this couldn't be the Habana he spoke of. She was rather...low in power level compared to Riku. However, as a warrior and strategist, Riku expected the saiyaness to be masking her true power, and by great amounts.
Habana told him she had come to bring him in for his treason. Riku gritted his teeth, frustration building. It's as if everyone from the SSE only knew how to accuse, capture and kill. The saiyaness asked for Riku to resist, so she could let off her anger from their betrayal. Riku stared at her, his hand twitching over his staff. He had nothing against her, and seeing as how she was a former Natto Force member would assume she understood the reason for treason. This was just like his encounter with Mayze...
"I have no reason to fight you, Habana. Yet, I can help but wonder why you insist on being so blind. Don't you see our reasons? If you had still been apart of the force, where your friends stood, you would understand. It was suicide, Habana. I met with Mayze, but managed to escape him. He, of course, had the same idea of bringing me back. And I'll say it to you, as well. I will not return, whether to swear loyalty or be imprisoned, I will not. Need I explain myself?"

“You know I could ALMOST understand the rational, the lot of you were facing extreme odds, that much is certain, but Natto was at the time one of our most powerful warriors, on top of that Tomoroko achieved the super Saiyan transformation as well. If Natto wanted he very well might have been able to take down the insect woman, possibly even the Azure Administrator. But instead he chose the easy way out, he chose to run.” “Because you see for as powerful as Natto was, he was ultimately a coward with eyes on only one MAYBE two things, his own survival and the survival of Tomoroko. By abandoning the mission he doomed countless Saiyans under his command as unlike him the bulk of those fighting in that city were loyal, without someone with his power to provide a shield against Earth’s stronger warriors the men and women that had fought alongside him stood no chance. I know for certain that Natto’s concerns were for nobody else, likely not you and probably not Aspa as well if he had survived.”“Because if he DID care then he would not have abandoned a member of his squad. I was on Earth for the invasion as well, due to my friendship with Zucceta she had me taking on North City alongside her and Jarvis. I fought a woman far more powerful than myself and never ONCE did my resolve falter, even when she grew to a level nearly twice my own power I stood and I fought with EVERYTHING I had.” Habana’s eyes narrowed now she was visibly seething with rage over the memories of the invasion. “But while I was facing an impossible opponent Natto was begging for his chance to run away like the coward he was, and did he or Tomo come to where I was to make sure that there fellow Squad member was not killed, to even offer me the chance to join them? NO! Not even a token effort over the scouter network was made!” Her anger getting the better of her Habana’s aura would begin whipping up wildly around her, at the same time her power would begin rising from the sixty thousand range up into the ninety thousands. “But as it turns out utter betrayal and abandonment combined with a very thorough ass kicking does wonder’s towards bringing you to the brink and filling you with unbridled rage. Enough rage” Habana let go of what little restraint she was keeping on her power allowing herself to ascend to her full base power and then allowing herself to transform, her hair bursting it’s ties and spiking out into a golden mane. “To ascend, and I suppose in that way I have to thank Natto and Tomo, if they werent such unrepentant cowards I might not have achieved this form and won my fight. But while I might thank there cowardice and betrayal, I will never forgive it. You claim the battle was suicide, that because you were outmatched it somehow makes up for what you did. But I would MUCH rather die then turn my back on my people, turn my back on my allies, turn my back on my FRIENDS!”

It took Sabika several moments to make it through the rubble, luckily the debris cleared and open streets panned out before the Namekian. He continued his sprint, now unhindered by obstacles, he could pick up more speed. His eyes would dart up to the figures in the sky, they hadn't moved yet, but Sabika couldn't be sure if that was a good thing.
Eventually, the trainee priest made his way into an open square. Crowds of Namekians gathered, all looking up into the sky at the floating people overhead. Why weren't they running away? Did they have such trust in the Warrior Clan leader's abilities? Maybe they knew this wouldn't lead to a battle, maybe this was just a regular occurance. Whatever was happening, Sabika felt massively out of the loop, he needed to find out what was going on before he acted like a fool in front of the leader of the Warrior Clan.
"Excuse me"
Sabika spoke in the general direction of a small group of Namekians, not noticing the nearby alien's in SSE gear.
"What is going on up there?"
Before he could get a response, Habana burst into her Super Saiyan form. Sabika had never seen anything like this before. Even without the ability to sense Ki he could tell this was more than just a cosmetic change. As her golden aura flared up around her form, a strong wind blew through the streets below. All the Namekians were forced to cover their eyes and steady their feet against the gust pushing against them. Whatever was happening, it didn't look good. Sabika needed to make a last ditch effort to stop this turning into a full on battle. Who knows what would happen to Moori Capital if it got caught in the crossfire. Still covering his eyes, Sabika began to extend his legs. The fibers stretched more and more, pushing the Namekian up into the sky. Without flight, this was the only way he could reach the heights of the flying warriors. Of course if they decided to move, it would be difficult to follow them. Eventually he reached an equal altitude, struggling against the almighty aura pushing against him. He found himself next to Riku, facing towards Habana and the others.
"I don't know who you are, but I can tell you are from the SSE, sworn to protect Namek and it's people. Whatever your issues with Riku, he is the leader of the Warrior Clan now. If you harm him, you harm all of Namek."
He hoped that these words coming from a Namekian might add the extra weight that his power never could.
"Hasn't this planet already seen enough bloodshed? The last thing we need, is those who are here to protect us, fighting amongst each other."

Habana spoke clearly of how she could possibly see the rational of the Natto Force's betrayal. She explained it well, the whole team was facing extreme odds, and clearly the death of Aspa showed that. The saiyan in black stared at Habana, his expression rather blank. She even stated how it was possible for Natto to take down the insect woman and the Azure Administrator, better known as Virtual Poi. Riku shook his head, it wasn't that simple. It's not like Natto would have had a battle with one of them, he was faced we with both beings, and Aspa had already been killed. Tomoroko's ascension, as great as it was, most likely would have still led us to our downfalls. Did Habana not understand that all of us were filled with rage? They all ascended because of that, and most likely wouldn't have if not for that.
A coward. That was what Habana said Natto was. He only ever cared for himself, possibly Tomoroko. Probably not for Riku or Aspa, just their own survival. Riku grew more frustrated. Habana hadn't been in the battle, she didn't know what happened. Then she stated he abandoned a member of the squad, likely referring to herself, to which Riku shook his head. That wasn't the case. Hell, she technically left the squad to stand alongside the damn Queen. The saiyaness' rage began to come clear as she spoke of how she faced an impossible opponent, yet she came to be victorious. The rage and hate from betrayal did wonders for her apparently. That's when Riku finally understood what she meant.
Habana's aura flared, and soon after a burst of golden aura came from her, her hair spiking up wildly. A Super Saiyan, that was the ascension she spoke of. However, this is where she also pushed Riku too far. To say that he was out matched didn't make betrayal right was in fact something Riku would understand. However, she, like most others didn't understand Riku at all. He didn't turn his back on his "friends". He turned his back on the corrupt bastards that were attacking where he had grown up! Riku hated how ill Habana had spoken of his squad, the only people he saw that shared the same reasons as he did. He felt no hate towards Habana herself, but his anger had already been built, and he was ready to let it out.
"Alright, I see what you're saying. But here, let me tell you what it was. First, Natto DID care, he saved me , he ascended because of Tomoroko and Aspa. Yet, he was smart enough to take the offer the Earth's warriors gave us! There was only one Saiyan who actually had an intent to kill us, regardless if we left or stayed, and that was one of their warriors. You, of all people, shouldn't be speaking such shit about them. Do you really believe they planned on abandoning you? They would have loved to have you fight with them, but you chose the damn Queen!"
Riku's anger was now clearly visible, and his aura now surrounded him. "Do you really fucking think they didn't think of you? Aspa especially spoke highly of you! They knew you were fighting with the Queen, and they left you alon because of it! And don't you tell me I betrayed my friends! The only friends I had were them! My reasons for betrayal were simple. I was raised on Earth. I was obviously going to havd emotions when I was ordered to invade, but I gave the empire a chance! I wanted to see for mysef if the empire's soldiers were as corrupt as we made them out to be. I have seen it now, and I never want to be part of anything related to the Empire!"
Here Riku exploded. His pupils dilated, his eyes now fully white. His hair spiked more, and a demonic yellowish -red aura engulfed him. Of course, the state wasn't as impressive as Habana's but that wasn't the point.
"I have nothing against you, Habana, but know this. If you intend on bringing me back, you may as well kill me or walk away. And this fight, shouldn't be a thing. We could have been partners at some point, but I guess that won't be what happens."
Suddenly, Riku glanced over to see a Namekian next to him, speaking of how if Habana were to cause harm to him, she would harm all of Namek. Riku studied the Namekian, swearing he had seen him before. It finally hit him, this same Namekian had seen the him defeat the Oozaru some time ago. Of course, this Namekian knew how important Riku was to these people. A battle here where he was defeated would be devestating to them. Riku looked back at Habana, not saying anything, allowing her to take in Sabika's words

Habana appeared entirely unfazed by Riku’s own transformation, it was powerful VERY powerful indeed, quite a bit stronger than the majority of the Empire’s warriors in his base form he had only widened that gap by transforming into some sort of bastardized version of the super saiyan transformation, she considered it ‘bastardized’ simply by the fact that it had not magnified his power to the same extent that the true form would and the entirity of the visual effects of the form seemed… off, almost there but not quite. Habana held a bit of regret now though that she had brought Jala up here rather than keeping her down on the ground with the others, strong as she was Riku was FAR stronger now even if she initiated her Overdrive.
A Namekian managed to make his way close enough for his words to carry to the angry saiyans, Habana paid attention to his words but kept her eyes firmly locked on Riku, while the way he spoke certainly made it seem unlikely he would attempt a surprise attack Habana’s opinion of him was already tarnished by his betrayal of the empire.
The Namekian provided some interesting information, Riku evidently had risen to take command of the Warrior Caste of Namek, THAT made Habana even less comfortable with his presence on Namek, a known traitor leading the Warriors of Namek? That was a situation just begging to become an issue. “Jala, you speak with the Namekian, I’m in no state to explain things to him” Habana said her gaze still affixed to Riku, with a node Jala departed her side to move in closer to the Namekian.
“You are brave to make your way so high and with the two of them putting out so much power, we understand your position and you are correct, the Empire’s goal is to ensure the safety of Namek as it is has remained an ally for so long I imagine it would be difficult to find a being that knows a time when we were not. However there is more at work than just that man being the Warrior Clan’s leader. He is a traitor to the Empire, he served among our forces and then along with several others turned against us hastening or perhaps even causing the Empire’s loss along with the deaths of many warriors.”
With Jala dealing with the Namekian Habana could maintain her whole attention on Riku once more as he spoke up trying valiantly to defend the actions of himself and the others “I don't believe they PLANNED to abandon me at least not initially. But my fighting directly with them should not have been the sole way of deciding if they would come to my aid or even bother to ask if I needed aid. I made no choices in regards to where I fought, just as Natto, Tomoroko, Aspa, and yourself were assigned to take a city I was assigned to take the North with Zucceta and Icarus, and just as Luffa and Mayze took Satan city. We were not simply allowed to go off and fight where we pleased, there was coordination and apart of that was balancing power, the bulk of the squad was sent together as we were just that, a squad, a team used to training together even if there was no direct combat experience for the squad outside of that training.”
“I despite being apart of the squad was ASSIGNED to Zucceta’s squad because I was among the few that the Queen could trust due to our friendship, It was not by request nor did I even have much opportunity to suggest otherwise.”
“As for your implication that they thought of me, you offer Aspa as your example. Aspa DIED, a fact you are already aware of, perhaps if he had survived and if he had abandoned the battle then he might have suggested or personally made the effort to contact me, but he never got that chance. That however does NOT excuse the fact that neither Natto nor Tomoroko made an effort to contact me or intercede in my battle to offer a chance to depart with them. Because they DIDN’T care, if I had to guess you were just LUCKY, you were there and convenient enough for them to bring along. But me? That would have required effort, kais forbid they check in on Habana while she fights someone nearly THREE TIMES HER POWER”
“My battle was NEAR the queens but that is meaningless when the Queen was facing down multiple opponents near her own power the number of which only grew once you lot abandoned the Empire, if the warriors of Earth had wanted it we would have been dead there because one of our strongest warriors decided to save his own skin rather than help his people.”
Habana listened curiously as Riku mentioned that he was raised on earth and decided to ‘give the empire a chance’ and the he would obviously ‘have emotions when ordered to invade’ her expression screwed up in a look of disgust “You know I might have had a bit of respect for you, records indicate we both went into the invasion with power far lower than most of the other warriors and you certainly didn’t have that” Habana gestured at his transformation “beforehand, even with you abandoning the fight it’s not entirely unreasonable, but let me get this straight, you a warrior of Earth, decided to join the Empire, and when the orders came through that we would be invading rather than taking a stand against it, or simply returning to Earth BEFORE the invasion, you decided to fight FOR the Empire.”
“At least Flahwur had the decency to side with those she genuinely believed to be her people, she made her choice to stand against the Empire clear and distinct. But you… you can’t even choose a side, you just did your best to place yourself on whatever might have been the winning side. You didn’t HAVE to join in on the invasion, many warriors remained home on Vegeta in order to keep the planet safe. You made the CHOICE to turn on the Earth and then flipped the second things got a little bad.” Habana laughed though the laugh contained very little actual amusement sounding rather hollow “You know before this I sort of regretted the idea of pursuing you, it was very much a choice rooted in my anger at others.”
“But now I’m regretting it a WHOLE hell of a lot less, the Namekians might think you’re one of their protector, they think you deserve the right to hold a position of power in one of their clans, but it’s probably just because they don’t realize that the second things get really rough you’ll turn tail on them and either run or join the enemy. Tell me Riku what were you up to when the head of the Mazoku clan attempted to overthrow Namek? When so many Namekians were killed? Because the Empire was right here protecting Namek, Mayze and Pin specifically. I know for certain you were not there as both report to only two people. The Queen and the Commander. And seeing as I’m Commander I know roughly what occurred and who fought and for the life of me I can’t seem to recall any reports of you being present. Otherwise we would likely have had this conversation a LONG time ago.”

For a brief moment, Sabika believed he was getting through the the warriors. Both of them paused as he spoke, they seemed to be listening intently up his words. Maybe being the only Namekian in the conversation was lending weight to what he said. That was until Habana dismissed him off hand, sending one of her underlings to deal with the task that was clearly beneath her. The whole situation reminded Sabika of his recent run in with Celleri, another SSE soldier who made it quite clear he didn't care for Namek or its people. In fact his only reason for helping was because he was ordered to, something that was made quite clear by his lack of compassion for the deceased Namekian they found. Was this how all of the SSE felt? Following orders to protect, like guards watching over valuable stock. Was that all Namekians were to the SSE, an asset of value that had to be protected for purely political reasons?
At least this Jala spoke to Sabika with respect, whether she was just faking it to placate him was another matter. As she spoke of the long standing relationship between Namek and the SSE, Sabika felt a well of shame rise up within him.
"I must confess I have lived a somewhat sheltered life, my knowledge of politics is very limited."
Sheltered was one way to describe being locked away inside a magical jug since childhood. Sabika wasn't quite ready to admit to his shameful past, at least not to someone he had only just met. Even without his confinement, he had stayed away from politics. Concentrating on becoming a priest above all else, to the point where common knowledge had managed to pass him by.
Then she called Riku a traitor. For a moment Sabika froze in place, almost tipping over backwards on his extended legs. If Riku had turned against his own people, what's to stop him doing the same to Namek? A twinge of doubt pulled at his mind. He had charged all the way up here, straight into danger without a second thought. He did all that because he thought, no he knew, it was the right thing to do. Now he wasn't so sure. Should he be helping Riku at all? Yeah he was the Warrior Clan leader, but it was unheard of for a non Namekian to take the position, at least as far as Sabika was aware. This was why he never paid much attention to politics, it always seemed to be people with power, looking after their own interests. Eventually Sabika regained his composure, hoping that Jala hadn't noticed he began to speak.
"So you and your boss are here to get revenge? Then what? The Warrior Clan will be plunged into chaos, countless Namekians will commit themselves to vengeance again the SSE. Then what will become of our alliance?"
If Habana wouldn't listen to him, maybe he could turn Jala. Surely Habana would listen to one of her own. Regardless, it was Sabika's last chance, if he didn't do something now, it would all be too late.
"You speak of how you want to protect us, how you value our alliance. Yet your actions..."
The Namekian waved an arm towards Habana and Riku. Both warriors were fully engulfed in their respective auras, raging torrents of energy bursting out of their bodies. It was a fearsome sight to behold, Jala's earlier statement about bravery suddenly sank in. Sabika hadn't once thought about how dangerous what he was doing way, not when he was sure it was the right thing to do. Now however, the niggling doubt at the back of his mind had opened the gates for fear to flood into his thoughts.
At that exact moment Habana questioned Riku on why he wasn't battling the Mazoku Clan when they tried to overthrow Namek. More doubt rose up within him, this time like a tidal wave, it smashed though his mind forcing him to take action. He began to shout at Riku, the sense of betrayal evident in his voice.
"Is this true? Namek was under attack, Namekians were dying in their droves, and you, leader of the Warrior Clan wasn't there to help?"
Although he aimed his anger towards Riku, he was equally angry at himself. He also wasn't there when his people needed him, he was locked away in his mystic prison. He was as much a traitor to Namek as Habana was claiming Riku to be.

The saiyan watched as Habana ordered the woman beside her, named Jala, to speak with the Namekian. Of course, Riku knew not their intentions, and his body slightly inched forward, ready to launch himself in front of Sabika. When he saw that the saiyaness was simply talking to the Namekian, Riku was more at ease and turned back to the real threat, Habana. Noticing her intense glare, Riku gestured for her to continue speaking.
Whilst he listened to Habana, he heard Jala state Riku was a traitor, and add that due to his and more soldiers leaving it caused the defeat and death of many warriors. Maybe the death of warriors was viable, but he truly believed that going as far as saying they caused or possibly caused the empire's defeat was a little far fetch. Of course it didn't help them, but Riku could feel the outcome during the invasion, there were multiple power levels that were millions above his and a few other saiyan soldiers, but that wasn't why he left. He left for reasons he didn't feel he needed to speak of with her, and decided to simply let her keep going.
Habana continued to speak, soon bringing up how she was against a person three times her power. She continued by saying how if Aspa had still been alive he would have tried to contact her, but it still was no excuse for neither Natto nor Tomoroko doing so. Riku shrugged, he didn't exactly get into contact with them after the invasion so he couldn't justify that. Then she stated that Zucceta even though being near Habana was busy fighting multiple opponents. Riku folded his arms.
"Interesting. I have a question, Habana. Honestly, do you believe that if any of you, who you seem to claim to be her friends, at least you say you are. However, if more than one of you were to have fallen, would she have stood down or saved you? Is Zucceta the type of Queen to deviate from her goals in order to save you?"
She continued, moving to the subject on how Riku was an Earth warrior who basically fought against his own people. She simply laughed, a more serious laugh than an amused one. According to her, he was someone who couldn't pick sides, and he would most likely do that to the Namekians. Riku's frustration was building again. He decided to be respectful and allow her to continue, but then she brought up the fact that Riku had been absent when the Mazoku Clan had tried to conquer Namek.
The leader raised an eyebrow to hear Mayze and Pin had been here..."protecting Namek". He thought back on when he had encountered Mayze, and where they had been. The land had been scorched where they were, and Mayze simply said that whatever happened was recent. They were on the outskirts of Moori, where the battle had taken place. Eyes glued to Habana, Riku glanced over at Sabika who came forward and asked Riku if all this was true.
Shaking his head, Riku response to both of them with one response. "Habana, first things first. I only just became Warrior Clan leader but a few weeks back, and had only visited Namek once prior to that. The time I have been here, I heard of no battle, an I witnessed no such thing. I was not on world, and I was not leader during the event, meaning the blame can't go on me."
Flipping his staff the saiyan fiddled with the end of it as he continued. "You said Mayze and Pin were here defending them? Tell me, if you say that Namek is a place you want to protect and defend, is it worth the life of your soldier? When I encountered Mayze, we met on the outskirts of Moori, and I saw the area scorched, as if a battle had taken place there. Guess what he said. 'These are fresh, whatever happened was recent.' Now, maybe this was suppose to be confidential, but I'd say he was part of the cause. So, I assume a blast had destroyed the majority of Moori. Was endangering the life of ONE soldier not enough in order to stop its destruction? "
"Now, to your previous inquiry. Maybe I was naive and foolish during the invasion. But here, as the Warrior Clan leader, I plan to die protecting these people. Can you say the same?"
[Sorry for the delay!~]

“It is a touch more complicated than simple revenge, Riku is a traitor he abandoned the army when it needed warriors of his caliber most with no regard for the lives of those he and the ones he followed were leaving behind. The Empire does not take kindly to traitors, it is unfortunate that he has taken such a role among your people and that his removal would cause problems. However I would imagine your people would be just as disconcerted by the idea of a Mazoku serving in a high ranking and influential position within the Empire. If such a scenario had occurred imagine how badly things might have gone for Namek if Mayze and Pin had not been here?” Jala offered trying her best to offer the Namekian a bit of the Empire’s perspective on the matter, it certainly complicated things that Riku was apparently the leader of the Warrior Clan.
Habana’s words had quite the effect on Sabika however Riku rather quickly explained himself on why he had not been present to defend Namek and neither Habana nor Jala could hold the fact that he had neither been the Warrior Leader nor even on Namek itself against him, Habana considered that a bit unfortunate it had been a pleasant thought that Riku was a true coward hiding away while Namek was attacked, sure there was technically a chance that this was true, that he HAD been on Namek prior to the attack but there was not even enough evidence to convince herself that it was worth arguing the possibility.
“I suppose that is fair, I can’t exactly hold you accountable for Namek’s defense if you were not here. However that does not change the fact that the Empire you believe so ‘corrupt’ was the very same one that protected it when it had nobody such as yourself to do the same, Namekians died that day but without Mayze and Pin MANY more would have fallen, from Pin’s report it is likely there would barely be enough members of the Dragon and Warrior clans to even properly call them clans any more. The Mazoku would rule.”
“I don’t quite understand what you are getting at about Mayze and the destruction to part of Moori, if you are trying to place the blame on him I would remind you that he was placing his life in danger for Namek, facing as far as I know the strongest Namekian on recent records, a Demon of comparable power, yet another traitorous Saiyan, AND a Bio-Android, with just Pin as proper backup. And while Mayze very much did put his life in danger, my good friend Pin quite literally GAVE his life for Namek and it is only by the grace of him being an Android that he could rebuild himself. “
“Now as for your question on whether on Zucceta, whether or not she would put herself in danger or stand down if any of us were defeated, I cannot account for exactly how she would respond, if given the opportunity I do believe she would save my life or the lives of any warrior fighting at her side, but would she stand down? Never. I believe if ever someone such as myself were to fall in battle and Zucceta knew it it would only strengthen her resolve, she is not the type to let the efforts of those fighting for and alongside her be in vain.”
“As for if she would deviate from her goals to save me? I’d like to think so, we’ve been friends for a long time, long enough she trusted me to name me her second in command, Commander of the Empire. So perhaps I have a bit more of an advantage in the ‘would she save me’ category than most might have. A better question is would she have deviated from her goals in order to save YOU” Habana paused intending to give the question a moment to sink in.
“If you had been fighting alongside her either in addition to me or instead of me. I think she would have at least so long as you were not actively turning tail on us, she values the warriors that fight for the Empire and if she’d had a chance to do so I think she would have defended you. She’s not a particularly ‘good’ person by most standards, but she’s most certainly loyal to those who side with her.”

Mazoku? The attack on Moori had been the act of aggression by the demon Clan? Sabika had always believed them to be little more than a myth, a mix of history and fairy tales. The storied told to children to keep them from misbehaving, the demons from the past that hide in the shadows. Yet somehow they had survived, no, they had thrived. To the point whereby they could have sized control of Namek if it weren't for the foreign fighters called Mayze and Pin.
A world controlled by Mazoku, even if only half of the stories about them were true, would be an abomination. Fueled by greed and a lust for power, many innocent Namekians would be killed as the Mazoku cleansed the planet of the other clans. It would be nothing less than a catastrophe. If it were true that the SSE was responsible for defeating the Mazoku, then all of Namek was in their debt.
"The Mazoku were responsible for the attack here? Things are far worse than I had realised. Jala, do you know if the Mazoku were completely defeated? They must have been in hiding for years planning their attack, if any of them survived, they will be preparing for their next attack."
As Riku began to defend hinself, he exclaimed that he had only been leader of the Warrior Clan for a few weeks. In fact he claimed he wasn't even on the planet, having only visited it once before. This seemed to satisfy Habana, but for Sabika, it only threw up more questions. Just like the Dragon Clan, the Warrior Clan was steeped in history and tradition. Why would someone with such a limited history with Namek be allowed to become their leader? Or more pertinently, why would they want to?
"So in a few short weeks you went from little more than a tourist, to claiming leadership of the Warrior Clan? What would drive you to do that? Did the remnants of the clan look ripe for the picking after the battle that raged here? Or maybe you knew you would need back up for when they came for you" Sabika pointed a thumb towards Habana and her henchmen.
"Surely when you left the SSE, you knew they would come for you. You claim to be willing to die for us, but how many of us are you willing to sacrifice to protect you?"
Sabika felt uncomfortable delving into the politics of the Warrior Clan, traditionally the clans would avoid influencing each other too much. Over the years they built a relationship based on mutual respect and dependency, each Clan trusting the other to work towards the good of Namek. Yet it seemed like tradition had been thrown to the wayside, and as the only Namekain present, he felt compelled to represent all Namekians, regardless of their heritage.
The two Saiyans continued to argue over the type of leader their queen was. Was she willing to sacrifice herself for others? Was she willing to give up on her goals for the sake of her people? Sabika couldn't speak for any of these things, he had never met the Queen. However he knew that she must have been the one to order Nameks protection. Granted some of the Saiyans Sabika had met, weren't exactly enthusiastic about following the order. Nevertheless on more than one occasion Namekian's had been saved as a direct result of that order. In Sabika's eyes, all of Namek owed a great debt to the Saiyan queen.
