Kayle awoke in a strange place, pushed himself off the bed, and headed to the bathroom as usual. Turning on the shower to the hottest setting, which was pretty hot given he was in a desert, he stepped in and began to wash himself. When he was done, he realized that this place did not have customary clean towns like the other places he had stayed at did. Realizing this, Kayle began to wipe off the water the best he could, and would have to let the rest air dry. While he did so, he began to go over in his mind what had led him here. He knew where he was, in a place called Ginger Town, but it wasn't a place that he would usually lay his head. After the grand meeting with Ayumu, however, he had decided to just stay put for a few days and reflect on the things that he had told him. It had turned out that the SSE had attacked Earth at some point in the past, but had some how failed in their invasion. Kayle still didn't know how the Earth defended itself against super saiyans, but he guessed it was due in a large part to Bing and that one mysterious android that had attacked the capital a while back. He was also trying to figure out why the SSE would have any interest in Earth. The planet had very little to offer other than what almost every planet offered. It was out of the way in an almost uninhabited part of the galaxy, and the indigenous species was so weak for the most part that they wouldn't even make good slaves, much less warriors. None of this made any sense to Kayle. There must be something here that the empire wanted. Finally having dried off enough, Kayle went over to the dresser and began to put on his cloths and training weights. He always put on his weights, even if he didn't plan to do actual training. Merely having them on would lead to at least some sort of strength gains. After the red weights and dark clothing were on, he went to the door and walked outside. The sun was already high in the sky, so high that even Kayle was surprised as even he didn't even sleep this late usually. Ginger Town seemed to be a suburb of the West Capital, so even if Kayle couldn't find anything interesting here, he could easily fly over there. Looking around, Kayle could see all the people already well into their daily lives. Some were shopping and others were working, while still others were just socializing. One thing common thing was apparent with almost every person, however, as Kayle walked down the street, his tail swishing in the wind behind him. All the people would give him a wide berth as he walked by them. Typical, the humans feared him, and again, for no reason. Kayle was done with letting this bother him though, by now it was a daily occurrence. He simply kept walking and viewed the different shops. There were quite of few shops up and down the main strip, surprisingly for such a small town. Maybe it had something to do with its close proximity to West Capital, but who could say. Most of the shops here were your run of the mill department stores, with some markets here and there for the odd knick knack, and some eateries. Kayle had decided to stop by one of the restaurants, as he had not eaten today yet. He picked the first one that he laid eyes on, and it so happened to be a fast food type joint. He quickly ordered himself a few burgers, some fries, a couple shakes, and a chili dog, then went to sit outside once he had all of his food. Kayle kept gazing around as he ate his over extensive meal, noticing that there were an awful lot of children out today of all shapes and sizes. School must not be in session today, or else they would obviously not be here. There were a few adults around as well, watching the kids, but not near enough for everyone of them to have a parent present. It was obvious that most of the adults and kids alike were avoiding Kayle, but he didn't mind that. After his ordeal with Presto, the last thing that he needed was another super charged child to try to fight him. Especially given that he would never harm a child. It was just a peeve of his not to fight with people that he perceived weaker than him when it wasn't their fault. Being avoided was better than people attempting to bully him all the time, like back on Vegeta, he supposed. Sai

Sai couldn’t help but smile as he walked out in the warm weather of Ginger Town. He had been wearing his doji, that his father had given him; and the reason behind him being in town was because he felt like coming to someplace hot after all the training in the cold. Sai was during his break after all. Actually, him being on break wasn’t any excuse for him to be out here; he would’ve skipped school anyway. His parents were never home, so he didn’t really have to go to school. Plus, he’d rather spend his time training.
As he slowly walked around the town, he began to sense a fairly large energy in the middle of the town. He wanted to inspect it, and power levels like this excited Sai. He slowly began to run to the area where the energy was projecting from. The closer he got, the wider his smile grew. Being cheerful was Sai’s trademark, and anyone that knew him, knew that about him.
Once he finally reached the area of the energy, he saw a male Saiyan. The only reason he knew he was a Saiyan was because the man had a tail; something only Saiyans had. Sai wanted a tail, but him being a hybrid and all didn’t allow him to have one. He’d never met a hybrid with one, or at least not to his knowledge. Sai stared at the male Saiyan’s back and walked closer to him. Sai was fairly about 5’3, which was fairly tall for someone his age. He then did something that he was fairly use to doing already, he gently tugged on the Saiyan’s tail and said, “Hey, nice to meet you!”

While enjoying his meal, Kayle continued to look around. The sun was still high in the cloudless sky, and glaringly bright. Not bring a huge fan of bright lights, Kayle really wished there were more clouds to block said glare. The children were still running around playing with one another, and everything seemed to be quite normal in the small town. Things were boringly normal here, so Kayle decided that he might need to either start training, or go somewhere more lively. That is when it happened. Kayle had be so absorbed in eating and viewing his surroundings, that he didn't even notice the infinitesimally power blip that came across his scouter. Before he knew it, there was a slight tightness squeezing around his tail, and then tugging. Kayle's senses went into over drive. While he had long sense trained away the weakness in his tail and could operate normally even when it was grabbed, it was still quite uncomfortable when someone grabbed it.
There was a person behind him, one that blathered something about it being nice to meet him or something while tugging on his tail. Kayle sat there, stunned for a moment, not by the so called saiyans tail weakness, but more by the fact that someone had actually dared to grab his. Kayle ripped his tail from the person's tail out of the hands of the person behind him, and slowly stood up, turned around and glared into the eyes of the one in question. With Kayle's vibrant green eyes staring into the blue eyes of the stranger, it could be seen that he was seething with anger. Kayle took his hand and shoved it toward the stranger, grabbing his clothes and lifting him off the ground.
"You, boy, you dare to grab the tail of a saiyan? You have a death wish?" He said still overcome with rage.
He stood there for a few moments, holding the young boy and staring at him, before he set him back on the ground, gently. "You, boy, are lucky that I believe that you may not have known about a saiyans tail. Never, ever, grab the tail of a saiyan. A pure bred sayain warrior would not have the self control that I just displayed to not harm you afterward. Not to mention that it is just plain rude to go up and tug on people you don't even know."
Kayle backed up from the young person, hoping to calm himself down a bit more. He had never met and Earthling that actually tried to grab his tail before. This person was either extremely brave, or extremely stupid. Either way, he was lucky that it was Kayle and not some other saiyan because Kayle had no real reason to harm anyone here on Earth.

Sai couldn’t help but laugh as the man suddenly grew angry at him. He had tugged on the tails of many Saiyans and had never gotten this reaction before. Then when the man said that he was a hybrid like Sai, Sai couldn’t help but give him the widest smile possible for his tiny face. He was even scared earlier when the man picked him up. Sai was fearless, he didn’t fear death or anyone. He looked up at the man and said,
“Well Hello there! My name is Sai, and I couldn’t help but hear you say that you were a Hybrid! So am I! I’m a Hybrid between a Human and a Saiyan. I’m guessing so are you! You seem very vulgar even if you’re a Hybrid hah. I’ve met many Saiyans in my lifetime and never met someone as angry as you Ha! Hey, it’s fine I like you already! So, tell me about yourself.” Sai gave Kayle a adorable laugh as he closed his eyes simultaneously.

Kayle could not believe his ears as the young boy laughed at him. Seriously, laughing at him? This boy must either be a bit slow in the head or was completely oblivious to the situation at hand. This was just like people from Earth, and the entire reason that he had decided to leave it soon. The Earthlings didn't fear anything because they didn't need to fear anything. They knew that there would always be that savior, that knight in shinning armor, that came and saved them. The fact that someone always came to save them always left a bad taste in Kayles mouth. In his eyes, because of their so called saviors, the people of Earth were more like pets to said saviors than an actual real race of people. It was sad because he knew that the humans could be so much more if they just put their minds to it. Instead they just go about their greedy daily lives knowing that they had no reason to care about anything.
After he was done laughing, the boy seemed to go on and on and on about nothing. He gave his name and claimed to be a saiyan hybrid, then claimed to have met several saiyans in his life time. If this boy was part saiyan, then he was a horrible excuse for one. His scouter had told him that his power level was barely over 1,000. Either this boy was hiding his true power, or he really was a poor excuse of a hybrid.
"Sai.... Sai... Your name is Sai eh? Trust me Sai, you don't want to know anything about me. There is a reason why I am angry and defensive, and it is something that I doubt at Earth bound child would understand. I mean unless you were raised somewhere else. You are from Earth, yes? I suppose if you insist I could tell you something, but for now tell me something instead Sai, do you hide your power level or is it really that dismally low? I suppose it isn't that bad though, for someone so young and raised on Earth. I beg of you to train to become stronger though. I would hate to see something happen to you boy. There are dangers out there that are beyond the imagination of even a child such as yourself." Kayle said all of this in a much calmer tone than before, being truly concerned about the boy. He could see that he had some sort of potential, and didn't want to see him fall into the same trap of depending on everyone else that most Earthlings seemed do keen on getting into.

Sai smiled as the man said that he didn’t need to know anything about him. He also then said that Sai wouldn’t understand. As Kayle asked Sai whether or not he hid his power level or if it was initially this weak; Sai actually felt bad. He felt weak and useless compared to anyone here. Yet then, Kayle began to try to lighten up the mood by saying it was ok but he had to train. Sai then instantly looked back up at Kayle and his eyes lit up.
He smirked and said, “Well sir, I thank you for concerning about me; and yes unfortunately this is my current power level. It’s pretty much since my father and I barely trained since he was always so busy with his job. Also, I can sense your power level and it is really high. And… ummm… I was wondering if you could train me?” Sai ended his question with a higher pitch, as if trying to hide the question. He didn’t want to get this man angry, nor make him pissed either. Sai gave him a smirk as he began to scratch his head.

Training. The boy had asked Kayle to train him, and he was a bit flattered that Sai thought he could learn from him. Unfortunately, Kayle needed to head home for a bit, so he had to find a way to let the boy down easy. He had already insulted him by calling him weak, and as he knew Earthlings and how sensitive they were, more demoralization might be the end of him. Kayle had never seen the point in harming the Earthlings, nor had he even wanted too, so the last thing he wanted was to put this young boy into a shame spiral. The question at hand was, however, how to let the boy down easy without causing him to quit training himself. He thought back to his time on Vegeta, when he met Bing for the first time. He remembered Bing calling him a monkey, and Kayle thought that because he was human that he must have been weak. He had had little to no power level to speak of according to his scouter. That was the day that he learned that suppressing power level was possible. He had gone from one percent of his power to one hundred percent, and the difference was drastic. What stuck out the most in Kayle's mind was his parting words however. He had something something about Kayle being to weak at the time, and if Bing trained him, that he would more than likely die. The truth was the same here. Kayle had trained weaker people before, but never someone as low as this one. He would sadly have to tell the boy a similar story.
Kayle sighed as he began to answer Sai, "Sai, unfortunately I am not even sure how I could train you without actually harming you. I am literally over sixty times more powerful from you. One punch from me would likely kill you, and that is not something that I wish to do. I will tell you what, I have some things to do off planet, and I plan to leave tomorrow. You continue to train and get stronger, and I will see about training with you a bit when I get back. How does that sound?" Kayle had meant every word of what he said, and therefore did plan to come back at some point. Hopefully this would make Sai strive to become stronger rather than demoralize him so much so as to become dependent on the Earth's saviors like the others. As long as Sai would try, at least he would deserve to be protected by them. It was most of the Earthlings lack of trying that he had a problem with, not the fact that they were weak.

Sai laughed as Kayle told him that he was too powerful to train Sai. He felt normal about the situation, he didn’t really have a large relationship with Kayle, but what Sai decided to say next was what he had waited to say. Sai smiled and said, “It’s fine Kayle-san, but only on my end. That’s mostly because if we do what you say, by the time you come back I’ll be the one that’s be over 60 times your Power Level! See, I have ambitions sir and I plan on fulfilling them! Not only ambitions yet, I’ve made promises and I never back out on a promise Kayle! So, good luck with your missions off planet, and I shall be looking forward to our next encounter; Kayle-san.”
Sai couldn’t help but give him a large smile, and he closed his eyes at the same time. He then put his hand on the back of his head, in a laid back position; awaiting Kayle’s answer. KayleSorry for the late & short post!
