The wooden form of the caretaker of this ancient place alighted upon it for the first time in a month. He had not been here since his death, but the place was still well cared for. It seemed his children had been busy, keeping the place cared for. Still, something was a bit off. Bing was not here, and it was as though a pallor had fallen over the Lookout. Sighing slightly, the tree turned, and moved to the flowerbeds. They would need care.
He made no attempt to hide his Ki. He was sure someone would be coming to investigate soon. That was fine. Either it was a Z-Fighter, in which case, they would simply see him back at work. If not, it was an intruder. That was also fine. He could use some stress relief, and it would be helpful if the planet was clear of possibly internal threats.

Ninjin would be flying off toward the Lookout. She had been using the it as a stopping off point for her training regiment. It was a great place for her to stop and clear her mind before she would head out into the forest below and train all day by punching and dodging the tree limbs. Today was no different as her path from the Southern Isles was nice and calm as she flew up and landed on the edge of the Lookout. As she landed she glanced around and spotted a figure she was unfamiliar with.
Raising her hand in greeting she spoek out loudly for the figure. “Hello there… Is there anything I can assist you with as the Guardian is currently not here at the lookout.” Not knowing who this was she knew full well she could not divulge that the Guardian of Earth was deceased in the moment and was unable to be there to do his duties.
As she approached the figure she noticed that the figure was tree like with the heavy bark look and everything. Blinking a couple of times to make certain that she was not seeing things as she looked at Walker. The feeling of his ki though suddenly hit her as if she had been somehow upwind of the power but the power made her stagger a slight bit. :: A fighter of this caliber just arriving on Earth… This is coincidental as all get out. We will need someone of his or near his strength if the Saiyans reinvade the planet. :: “I can sense you are a great power. Can I ask for your name and what it is you are doing here good sir?”

[Thread PL: 71,310] [UT] Liquid Ki - Mist Active! Ki suppressed to 10000]
As something of a regular occurrence, Defrosch was once again already up on the Lookout. This time, he wasn't stuck down in the library reading. Instead he was cleaning a few unused rooms at the moment, while also looking for a few of the more mystical rooms to use for training beyond the commonly used Pendulum room. While he had found quite a few, they still remained locked for some reason...
Sometimes he would see things out of the corner of his eye, but he made no move to agitate them; he had long since figured out they were Walker's 'children' as they had a similar ki signature, and they were of course allies no matter how shy they happened to be acting. Defrosch would have to personally ask Walker to meet these 'saplings' some day.
As luck would have it, Walker himself had arrived on the lookout, shortly followed up by Toma's wife Ninjin. After fixing up one final room, Defrosch made his way outside to the main platform to greet them. "Uh... Yo. Whats up?"

Meetings on the Lookout seemed to be becoming more commonplace as time went on. It seemed like there was always some new thing to gather and talk about. As Articho flew towards the floating stone island in the sky, he couldn't help but wonder what it was about this time. They'd already discussed the status of Bing and who would take his place for the time being, though that had been inconclusive. They had slightly discussed what they would do should the Saiyans invade a second time, but again, that had been only slightly and they definitely didn't have a battle plan. Maybe it was something like that again, though he couldn't sense the big dogs that usually came to these meetings, some of which were understandable given they were off planet.
Articho ascended above the Lookout and sat down on the branch of one of the trees on it. He lazily wrapped his tail around it and let his legs dangle over the edge. It looked like the only people who were here at the moment were Walker, Ninjin, and Defrosch. More would likely show up and they would probably begin their business when a sufficient amount of people had arrived.
"What brings the goon squad back together again?" the hybrid asked from his perch, giving a lazy wave to the people below him.

The feminine Namekian tilted her gaze up towards the Lookout in the distant sky, raising a brow at the sensation of the powerful energy located above. "I thought..." she mused before she began to fly up the Tower, forgoing the climbing exercise this time so that she could investigate this sooner. Once she arrived at the top, Lusca observed the assembled group, noting the presence of a Saiyan male she vaguely recognised, a female she did not, an Arcosian and... "Caretaker Walker?" the feminine Namekian inquired as she landed on the Lookout's plaza proper, looking at the plant like being before her.
"I thought you were gone." Lusca said simply, looking around at the others before back to the Lookout's Caretaker. She eyed him up, raising an eyebrow at the increase in his power she could feel emanating from him. "Have you... evolved again?" she asked him, unsure if evolved is the right word for whatever transformation the sentient plant entity had undergone.

He felt Defrosch inside, even as his children that had watched and cleaned the place in his absence notified him. He also felt several other power levels approaching. The first to arrive was a woman, probably a Saiyan Hybrid by the look of her. He merely tilted her head at the question, and didn't answer at first. Instead, the question was answered as numerous other people appeared in the next few moments. Articho, Lusca, and Defrosch all entered shortly there-after, with the Namekian addressing him by name. He would smile if he had a mouth.
"I am aware of the fate of the Guardian. Perhaps slightly more than you, unless you have heard the news. I am Walker, the Caretaker of the Lookout, Bing's friend, and before recent incidents, the third in command of the Z-Fighters, although I never saw much point in that particular title. We are not a military." Standing up, he bowed to those who had arrived, before straightening. "There is some news I wish to share. As to your question, Lusca, the answer is 'Not yet.' Not yet, but when the time is right, I have the capability." He flexed his hand for a moment, then turned to the group.
"For those wondering at Lusca's confusion, for those unaware... I was recently absorbed by the Bio-Android, Rei, in an attempt to bolster Earth's defenses. I was sent to the Afterlife. I have, as you can see, returned. I must ask you all a question." His arms folded behind his back, he looked from one to another, eyes narrowed. "What do you know of the fate of Bing Gan, the Kami of Earth? I am aware of his fate, but only due to a meeting in the Afterlife." He didn't specify that the meeting was not with Bing, but that would become clear soon enough. He needed to determine how well the Z-Fighters were working together. If one of them knew, but not the others... there was a problem.

Ninjin raised her head as Defrosch appeared coming from the Lookout. Giving him an acknowledging nod and a wave in greeting . To her the tree person was the most interesting thing on the Lookout at the moment. As she had never seen someone that looked like Walker. Another power came quickly approaching the lookout and she just smiled as she waited and herard the voice that validated who she thought it was. As Articho was someone she never truly hated being around. Mostly because she had helped train the man less than a year earlier and she still considered herself a mentor for him should he ever really need her advice.
“Goon Squad? That’s an interesting way to put it Arti. But I was just stopping off here before heading into the Forest to train when I noticed this rather impressive looking person. Seems that you all know him at least which means he belongs here…” As she spoke a feminine figure that was unusual for a Namekian, but she knew that genetics did weird things across the galaxy and she was more than likely from another Namekian Colony from elsewhere in the galaxy. A name was spoken as she noticed the figure pay acknowledgement to it. :: Ahh so his name is Walker. Alright that will make things easier to speak with him in the future. :: When Walker began his introduction Ninjin bowed to him out of respect. It was not unusual for her to act as such because of all of her formal training as a martial artist.
“I agree that the Zetto are not a military like the Blue Banner. But let me introduce myself. I am Ninjin Nedrag former Turtle Hermit.” The bow was a little more formal as she introduced herself to Walker and the female Namekian. Listening to Walker speak she was a little unnerved that he said that had returned from the afterlife. That and the fact he had been absorbed by Reikiko was an interesting thing. The fact that she had absorbed him and yet he was standing there was something that she needed to think on. As if the ability to return from the Afterlife was there other than the Dragonballs she might have to look into it.
When Walker asked his question about the fate of Bing she looked off to the side. “All that I know of is what I was told by my husband. He said that Bing was defeated by Zucceta. Yet what happened to him after that I am not certain. I was hoping that someone who had some way of communicating with him would have been able to find out if he had passed to the Afterlife or if he was being held in a comatose state somewhere.”
As she spoke she felt the wheels running inside of her head. Walker would not know of the fate of Reikiko or Kaula yet would he? She would have to rectify that so that Walker was back upon the same phase as everyone else. Clearing her throat she spoke back up. “A short time later Reikiko went to challenge the Queen and was casted down by a new fighter of the Queens a lot like that of Virtual Poi. Then within the same breath Kaula also fought and was cast aside by this fighter. Yet this fighter used no Ki that we could tell from this distance. So I fear they may of created an Artificial life form like Vi-Poi which they intend to use on us during the next invasion.”

Giving Walker a short bow in return, Defrosch's brow twitched slightly. He would rather not recall his earlier outbursts given the situation, he gave Walker an empty and stern look. "I only know what you told me earlier." He was not mad at Walker however, he was far more mad at other people- himself namely, for being so useless. "I'm still.. On edge because of that. Having that state of mind dictate my actions among allies would be unbecoming of me. Furthermore, unlike most of you I don't have the luxury of telepathy, and as far as I can tell barely any of us possess a scouter."
Of course, Defrosch agreed with Walker's statement, the 'Z-Fighters' were indeed nothing like a military group. Vigilante special forces at best. However, a single moment in miscommunication from their late friend Bing caused a harsh blow to the group. "Lusca, was it?" Defrosch turned to the Namekian, giving a short bow once more. "Walker and myself have news regarding the situation with Helix's sudden disappearance. He was healthy, as his ki faded, I felt no sign of struggle.. That brings me to something else; I came across a book within this lookout that had detailed some Namekian traditions. Among them I had found this passage; 'Some Namekians are two halves of a same whole. One embodies harmony, the other embodies aggression. One spirit in two bodies, they are intricately connected.' Walker had said this eludes to the Namekian Fission ritual and... Well, it seems that through his stint in the afterlife, Walker had come across a Namekian by the name of Xylo, a Mazoku- the Mazoku that had presented the threat in the first place." Defrosch gave a short pause for Lusca to process this before finishing. "We have reason to believe that Xylo and Helix are a result of this ritual, and were therefore linked in their mortality. The Mazoku's death at the hands of one called Mayze, a Saiyan general of the SSE may have been the cause of Helix's untimely passing." The Arcosian let out a sigh, if anyone was to know, it had to be the young Guru's warrior and guardian after all. "As much of a shame as it is, it is not something we would have known without asking-- or worse, discovered through a rash action. However, this presents us with a problem even still, the fact that the SSE has its eyes on Namek... For the secrets to the creation of Dragon Balls, no doubt."

Articho shrugged at Ninjin, swinging his legs back and forth. He didn't really mean much by calling them the "Goon Squad." He just felt like sticking a goofy name to the people who always showed up here to discuss stuff, only for nothing to really happen or come from it. It almost emphasized the absence of Bing from their number. He usually kept a good hold on the meetings and directed them in the direction they needed to go. Not much progress in any direction had been made since his passing, with a lot of people trying to go in different directions. Toma trying to take over the position of Kami, Vi Poi declaring himself Premier of Earth, and the Z Fighters scrambling to recover from the loss.
Articho looked down from his perch at the discussion, a expression reading a mixture of disinterest and annoyance on his face. The idea of someone returning to life on their own accord wasn't a foreign concept to him. The hybrid had seen plenty of people do it before and he had learned that nothing was too far of left field to actually happen. That wasn't to say some things were completely strange to him, but he had come to accept that they happened. "Yeah, yeah. Death's a revolving door. Given that, Bing's death shouldn't be a big deal, right?" he said. "He'll be back before we know it and if Reikiko and Kaula died, too, then they should be back, as well." That news had taken him by surprise. Reikiko and Kaula were both incredibly strong and if this mysterious robot fighter had beaten them, then they had a true threat on their hands. Powerful fighters on the enemy's side and a dwindling number on their own. This didn't bode well for Earth.
"There's nothing we can do about it now," Articho continued, hopping down from the tree branch and landing on the ground. "We can't simply wallow in our losses. The SSE aren't slowing down and neither can we. They're getting bolder everyday and Earth isn't the only one under the threat of invasion. Namek's already in their grasp and who knows who else could eventually succumb to their conquest? We need to focus our efforts on getting stronger as fast as possible. There's gotta be something, Walker."

When the Arcosian informed the feminine Namekian about the truth behind Helix's sudden demise... her mind became a whir of questions and thoughts, each one trying to figure out how she should be reacting to this, how she should respond to this news. He was a Fission? He had willingly split himself in two, casting aside half of his own self, creating the very Mazoku Caste warrior that had become the threat to Namek? Did he know about this? What did he think was going to happen? Was this why he was always going on about sacrificing himself for Namek? Did he think it would serve as atonement for creating that monster? Lusca clenched her fists. And what exactly did he expect her to have done if faced with his other half? Stand there and do nothing as it killed her and everyone around her? Why didn't he tell her? What sort of protector was she meant to be for him, if she didn't even know what she was protecting him from...
A terrible thought passed through her mind. Had he expected her to try and protect his Demon Caste half as well to ensure his survival?! Her train of thought was derailed though when mention of the Dragon Balls was made. She gave a snort before speaking. "Well, the Saiyans screwed up then. Helix was going to be the one to recreate them on Namek, and I doubt they'd be able to convince the Elders there that are still alive to go through with making them now. They were on the fence as it was when Helix first proposed recreating them." explained the feminine Namekian.
"As for getting stronger... I can't see how we can get stronger in such a short space of time. Even if someone here had one of those gravity chambers and we all trained in it every single day with no rest, whilst wearing heavily weighted gear... it still wouldn't be enough to reach the power that the Saiyan Queen and her robotic minion possess if they were able to take out Kami and this Reikiko." Lusca sighed, looking away from the group as she spoke. In her eyes the situation seemed so desperate that it was nearly hopeless.

"I am aware of the fate of Rei and Kaula. I stated I was in the Afterlife, did I not? The meeting was with Reikiko herself. That relates to the news I have for all of you. Defrosch is already aware of this..." The tree turned around, facing away from them. Given he spoke with Telepathy, this made little difference. Still, considering his next words, there was valid reason. "The SSE's new artificial weapon is not as artificial as you might think. Vi-Poi functions on a non-Ki based system of technology, hence why you cannot detect him. However, it seems that biological beings can be... converted... to function on that system." He sighed, and his shoulders slumped slightly. "Bing has been converted to a cyborg, and as you can likely guess, based on recent events, he is more powerful than Reikiko, Kaula, and Zuccetta. He is also a slave of the SSE."
A small flicker of energy crackled across him. "As for the power... I have, at the least, a chance. I am not certain if you are aware of how artificially created beings tend to function?" Pausing, he waited for a response, then continued. "The place I am now is a semi-completed evolution. My fully evolved form is available to me, and I have reason to suspect that it's might will allow me to surpass even the new form of Super Saiyan Kaula and Zuccetta used. I don't know if it will be enough to match Bing, but..."
He turned around again, and raised his hands, forming a strange, triangular shape with them. "Before I returned, I learned a technique from Reikiko. It is capable of reaching beyond even my normal maximum, but I can only bring it so far. Beyond that, it's use will kill me. Bing fought alone. Rei fought alone. Kaula, also, fought alone. Thus, I ask this now." He spread his hands, and the tree's glowing eyes narrowed, taking in those there. "I agree with Lusca. It is not likely that everyone here will be able to reach an appropriate level of power in time. Still, there is something to be said for numbers. Earth CANNOT simply continue to sit here. You have to decide."
The tree gestured upwards, the stars above faintly visible at this altitude. "I am not asking you to follow me. I am not looking to lead, to command, or even perhaps to remain with the Z-Fighters. But you need to chose, now. Either wait for your fate, for the SSE to grow so powerful that they will crush Earth's resistance to nothing, or prepare for Earth to make it's own offensive." Folding his arms, he stared at each of them. "I will be asking the other Z-Fighters this as well, although I suspect the lack of presence I have seen answers my question anyway. What are you going to do?"

“I have never seen the use for a scouter Defrosch because I have taken great pride in trying to keep my own senses sharp but I can see that it may be needed sometime in the future.” Ninjin spoke softly in response to the man’s words. Obviously she had not seen him on edge or anything of the such seeing as she had only known him for a short bit. She stood there listening to the news about this other Namekian. It was an interesting thing that she had never heard of before. As she listened it intrigued her that someone could do this. Expelling the darkness from within ones soul sounded like a painful proposition, and yet it sounded like something that could be done in order to make things safer for certain roles like that of a Kami. When he got to the end of his conclusion Ninjin could not help but sigh. As it was true if such a thing existed they would more than likely try and keep its knowledge hidden away and guarded like a dragon would guard its horde of gold.
“Sounds like something my cousin would do. Try and stop anyone from gathering them and making a wish as the old tales of the balls on Earth say that any wish is possible with the Dragonballs assistance. “ She shrugged as she sighed once more. It was true the words she heard echo from her former pupil. These words rung true as she has told many that she could about the incoming invasion. She knew a number of the fighters were getting ready for the incoming fight and she knew full well that if Kaula and Reikiko would reappear it would not be til the right moment to be the hero of the moment. Though she would not blame them as she would do that if inside of their boots especially if they were gaining strength within the afterlife.
Turning toward Lusca she listened to her speak about how the dragonballs of Namek where not recreated and this actually brought a sigh of relief from her. “I could figure that the Queen would of not hesitated to use the Dragonballs of Namek to strengthen her own army. Possibly wish herself immortal if the old fables are true at their strength. Either or would be bad for Earth. As for getting stronger really the only way I could think of possibly getting stronger would be for the strongest among us to try and find someone that can stretch time with Magic or some other means. Try and jam as much training into as short of time that they possibly can. I doubt such a place or person exists on this plane of existence.”
Shaking her head at her rather abrupt words and short nature as she began to think on it hard. Yet her thoughts were cut short as Walker spoke about Bing being the new fierce opponent that had taken down both Reikiko and Kaula. Though he did not take the pair down he just managed to defend the target of the Kihoho’s that the pair had used toward the Queen. She knew the strength of the technique from the private journals of the old Turtle Hermits. When Walker made the same motion she cringed as she knew exactly what he was planning. “You are not the only one with a move capable of being more powerful then what is shown Walker. Myself and Articho have another maneuver that while not fatal for us can dismember members of the SSE army during their attack. Easy to take care of Oozaru by removing their tails and other fighters. Especially if they no longer have limbs capable of fighting with.”
Glancing over at Articho she hoped he knew exactly what it was that she was talking about. Listening to the tree speak to them telepathically she nodded in agreement without much hesitation on her part. “I am at your side just as I know my husband is… Despite his rather lack of tact and grace I know he has the heart in the right places. We will stand when the SSE comes in to fight as I know many others that will be joining us. I am hoping to have my old pupil back on the planet soon enough so I could enlist her aid in the incoming war. As The combined might of the Turtle School will most certainly be needed…”
Clenching her fist as she took in a deep breath as she knew full well that her children would be safe no matter what it was that she was going to do. Turning her life into a singular moment of martyrdom toward defending against the oncoming tidal wave. “I am not one to know that an offensive that is aimed at us would not be blunted by an offensive of our own… Yet I cannot help but wonder if that is not what she is waiting for. For us to make an attack to justify the war she wishes to wage? I mean if she is cunning enough to change Bing to some abomination she would be ready for many contingencies all at once… Also why not gather the Dragonballs here on Earth and wish Bing back to his non metal form? I mean have it ready to be done within the initial moments of the invasion. Switch him back to our side when they least suspect it?”

"Perhaps you should invest in a scouter or learn telepathy then. I intend to do one of those things at the very least myself." Defrosch was quickly losing patience with himself. He regretted coming out to the courtyard now, having been on the way to properly processing the anger he had felt some time earlier- this meeting only served to make it worse. The solution was simple, he had to vent his anger. If these people wanted to stand around and continue to talk, that was on them. "Walker, you know my answer already. I will do what I can; but we will do what we must, and that..." The Arcosian turned to go fly off of the lookout "Is fight. With every last ounce of power we can muster." He let out a sigh as his aura lit up. "You'll have to excuse me for now. Be safe."
With that, he was on his way, off into the horizon. It looked like he had something important to attend to.

Articho' face went slack for a moment when Walker revealed Bing's true fate. Zucceta had it in her to actually do something? That was cruelty beyond measure and he didn't think anyone was capable of it. Leave it to the Saiyan Queen to prove him wrong about that, though. The hybrid clenched his fists tightly to keep from hitting something. "That woman is nothing but a monster," he growled quietly, the venom in his voice increasing when he said the word "woman." He loathed to even put her on the same level as other people. He usually had respect for other fighters, but having done what she did convinced Articho that she didn't deserve an ounce. "It's sickening to even think of what she's done." He crossed his arms and oa used to think. "We can't tell Maeve or Etoru. It would destroy them to find out what has happened to him," he continued after a moment.
Articho looked over at Ninjin, doubt on his face. He knew she was referring to the Kienzan, but he wasn't so sure about how useful it would be in the long run. "I'm not so sure," he stated. "Oozaru aren't that difficult to handle, regardless, but how do we know it will work? Has anyone successfully hit someone with it yet? And even then, if we hit the wrong spot, whoever it hits can be completely bisected. Call me skeptical, but the Kienzan needs to remain a last resort. It may be a war, but we can't sink to there level and start killing."
Articho shook his head as he looked back to Walker. "Don't be so quick on the draw. If we mount our own attack, we could just be playing into Zucceta's hands. If she wants a war and we attack first, then she gets what she wants and we'll be viewed as the aggressors instead. We need to focuse on building our defense is up here. We can lay out a trap for Zucceta's forces if they attack first and we can strike back after their initial attack is over. They'll be crippled and we'll have the upper hand if we play our cards right."

The feminine Namekian listened to everyone speak and react to the news that Earth's Guardian, the silver-haired Kami had been transformed into a robotic slave of the Solar Saiyan Empire. The idea that the Saiyans held the ability to do this to their enemies... to transform them, and turn them against their former comrades... It made Lusca's blood boil at the very notion, this abomination of science. As the talk continued though, something registered.
"How long has it been since you used Earth's Dragon Balls to revive Namek? Can they be found and used again?" she inquired, looking around the group before looking towards Walker in particular, since he was the Caretaker of the Lookout and should in theory have a better grasp on the subject than the rest of them. "We could call on Shenron's power to release Kami from his enthrallment by the Solar Saiyan Empire... assuming that human science can't figure out a way itself?" she suggested to the group. "And in the mean time, we try to increase our power as swiftly as we can, by whatever means are deemed necessary." said Lusca, a plan already forming within her own mind of what to do.
