Although it had only been roughly a week since her arrival within the lower realm, to Reikiko it had felt like months had passed already. Certainly, the week had been eventful, but it was far from pleasant in the eyes of the bio-android. While she had met Walker, who by now had already escaped back into the world of the living... his words still ringed in her mind. She was warned to not become too influenced by this place, and yet that was easier said than done. Reikiko was a being that first and foremost acted upon her emotions, so a place like Hell was literally one of the worst experiences that could await her. It was no surprise really, in the end... With Kaula having been given her judgement, and send to Heaven, or more specifically to train with King Kai the bio-android's loneliness had started to haunt her more and more by the day. Scargot had been missing, and everyone else she cared for was beyond her reach. However, to make matters worse her feelings of hatred, and desire to obtain vengeance upon those who wronged her grew stronger by the day. It was that what led her to travel to the spacious lake, or rather the Blood Pond as the denizen liked to call it. She was merely seated at the shade of a tree nearby the water, her gaze cast quietly upon the water. Although I promised Kaula not to give in to this darkness, I can't help but wonder how to proceed. She sighed softly, shaking her head as she considered the future. Although she had once dreamed of building a galaxy-wide paradise, Reikiko realized those thoughts were naive. A lot of people didn't want to be saved, and even more of them didn't deserve it! Perhaps when she escaped from this realm she would simply find her own paradise, just a place for herself and those she cared for. Perhaps she would find it somewhere, or maybe she'd create it herself. But obviously there was also another thought that plagued her mind. I still haven't found the answer I seek...No, the lilac-colored bio-android had yet to find the answer she needed, the one thing she desired to discover: What does it mean to be a God? A deity stood above all others, the one who was the Shepard for the sheep, they who possessed both power and wisdom to be worthy of such a role. I need to ascend beyond perfection... It's my birthright to reach divinity! I was created solely for that! And then again, how could she even become a deity when she didn't even knew what it meant to be a god? Briefly closing her eyes she wished there had been someone who had the answer she sought. Someone who knew what it meant to be a god, who possessed the power and wisdom she desired. Yet, to find such a person was far from easy... Beelzebub might had some secrets, but he was far from the deity she desired to find. "The path of kings, the path of conquerors and the path of gods... All three of them rulers, yet all three of them different. But what is the right path to walk?"absently whispering those words she briefly closed her eyes, letting her body relax a little when suddenly she felt a curious sensation, a presence that was somewhat familiar, yet in a peculiar way. It reminded her of her father, yet unlike Scargot this presence was... darker, not truly evil but she clearly felt a darkness within it, a darkness similar to the one of her own. Alaistair

(I'm here, I'm here! My bad Rei!) Alaistair had finally gotten his body back! He was practically radiating with glee, as he danced in a circle! He could do so much... But what should he do first? He'd given notice to Kizuki and Xylo that he'd finally gotten his body back through a telepathic message, but they were no doubt busy with their own training. So, what was there for him to do? He felt the tree man's presence vanish a while ago, but he did feel the likes of Koramund still floating around. Alaistair, frankly, didn't want to try make heads and tails of that creature's ramblings, what with the happenings of last time. "What to do, what to do," Alaistair pondered, squeaking slightly in mid sentence, "I suppose I could devote my time to training myself, but at the same time, I am back in this pit... Perhaps I should invest my time with meeting the old faces that gave me their support and- Wait, no no. That would be a bad idea... They'd probably freak out because I'm back here, and I promised to revive the lot of them. Ah, damn it!"He crossed his arms and scratched his chin with his right hand, as he walked forward. He'd made his way over to the Blood Pond, wondering what to do exactly. It hadn't occurred to him that there'd been another that showed up recently, one with a very familiar presence that seemed to blanket out his own power by a gigantic margin! He'd been lost in the revery that he actually would bump into this person... A woman. "Ah, sorry. I was lost in thought and- Wait. I know you," Alaistair apologized, coming to remember the face quickly. There'd not been a lot of people Alaistair met that left a large impact on him, but this one had... The miss Reikiko, of the Blue Banner Army! He took a step back, taking her hand and providing small kiss on it, as he iterated, "Reikiko, of the Blue Banner Army! What in hell are doing here, and when did you start boasting such a tremendous power? The last I'd seen of you, personally, was at your games, before the Western Capital was assaulted once more."( Reikiko, there you are! )

When the presence she had felt earlier, quite literally bumped into her Reikiko couldn't help but smile weakly at the thought of how distracted one might had been to literally bump into her. It would have required quite a lot of thinking to not notice the trajectory he had been walking, and nevertheless when she was who it was she felt a mixture of confusion and amusement. Yes, this person was without a doubt Alaistair, the man who had once lend his hand during her attempt to host some festival in the hope of finding her own entertainment, and of course give the Blue Banner Army some publicity. "Just Reikiko is fine Alaistair, those who abandon me deserve no such thing as my assistance."It was clear there was a hint of spite in her tone when she spoke about the Blue Banner Army, yet when he asked her about the reason behind her stay the bio-android chuckled weakly, a hand raised to her chest, seemingly resting the palm on top of her chest as she hummed softly. "It's a long story Alaistair. To answer your first question, I'm afraid this power of mine is far from my true potential. I am at only roughly fifty percent of my true power. Unfortunately the increasing threat that the Saiyajin empire represents left me concerned. I pleaded for action, for Earth to stop the queen but my pleas only reached deaf ears. To make matters worse they feared the strength I could obtain! Preventing me from obtaining the sacrifice I needed to gain true strength, yes even Vipoi, the one I once considered my best friend refused to lend his hand, wanting to wait till the enemy was at our gates before lending me the opportunity to feast upon the battlefield. That android's overconfidence will be Earth's downfall... thinking his KAOS unit and a ragtag team of defenders can save the threat the empire became... especially now they got Bing at their side."
She growled in anger, feeling the darkness within her heart stir with anger. "I died trying to stop them, abandoned by Earth, and the only comfort I had was dying in the arms of my lover shortly before I succumbed to my injuries. The metallic fiend the late Bing became is way too powerful for me to stop in this immature form."
A long sigh escaped her lips as she shook her head, giving the Makaioshin a pitiful smile. "That's why I'm here Alaistair. I tried to play the role of a hero, was abandoned by those I tried to save and forced to realize that such a role is not mine to play. Too long have I been chasing a path that isn't my own, and now I'm simply here searching for answers. Although I hoped the prince of demons would have had them, I fear that although his power is great... he lacks the answers I seek. How about you? What brings you to this place? I doubt it's merely to enjoy the peculiar peaches that grow here."
At the last bit she smiled, as if she was speaking in jest, but in the end her gaze shifted back toward the water. "And to make matters worse this place is starting to get to me... I guess I shouldn't complain since lilac is a nice color but... it still feels odd to find myself experiencing such a darkness. Nevertheless, it doesn't change the fact that I'll need to leave this way and stop Zucceta before her actions doom the few things I do care for..."

Reikiko acknowledged Alaistair with a weak smile, before accounting a story if betrayal by the BBA, and evening being felled in front of her lover. She sought power and pleaded for assistance to stop Zucceta before she could become rampant. Alaistair found her in an amazing state or power, and found it surprising that she had been holding half her power back.
"Incredible," Alaistair replied, astonished by the story, "To think you would fall upon deaf ears like this... Though, it is the Earth we speak of. It is so full of those who don't know of the worlds outside of their own. It is, how they say, a backwater world... Which is fine reason why I left it. I'd taken to my own devices and attempted to conquer a newly revived Namek, but had been slain... Shall we take a stroll around the pond, Reikiko, so I can tell you more?"

The bio-android seemed to consider Alaistair's invitation for a moment, yet after a few seconds of silence merely nodded her head, a light sideways motion stepped beside Alaistair, seemingly intending to let the man guide her along. Nevertheless, as their conversation lingered on Earth for a moment she couldn't help but agree with his opinion. "Quite a correct statement, the people of Earth tend to not see farther than the length of their nose, and those who have the power to change things are too ignorant to do what truly matters."Still, as she listened to Alastair's revelation that he planned to conquer Namek she couldn't help but frown for a moment. She could only imagine one possibly reason why someone would have gone to a planet like Namek, and that was without a doubt for the Dragon Balls. "Wait, you're saying that you were slain on Namek? I didn't think the Warrior Caste would have been able to handle someone of your skills Alaistair... How about you tell me more about the events that unfolded on Namek?"Still, despite all this she couldn't help but smile briefly, finding herself genuinely surprised at how pleasant she found it to interact with Alaistair, despite the fact he was a dangerous man to deal with, at the very least in his own way... he was also a much more pleasant and like-minded individual than the SCAR she had tried to ally herself with in the past... ---- Alaistair

"Fantastic! For you to understand my story is to hear what I did before then," Alaistair replied, a welcoming smile as he led them around the pond, not standing further than her arm's reach, "When news had arrived that Vi-Poi, who I guess was destroyed by yourself and others, I had taken to the idea of situating a safe haven for terrified earthlings on planet vegeta, before Zucceta decided to take her warmongering to Earth. It was under the influence of 'could we make use of old sentiments from the old centurrial conference treaty...'"
Alaistair paused, turning his head to her and whispering, "That attempt wasn't well met, that I can assure you. I was met with the 'princess' Kaula at the time, and Natto, a quiet saiyan soldier. We talked, and for the most part, a haven was established in the poorer district. There, I waited for people to show... Nothing though! Eventually I met my 2nd in command, Xylo, of the Red Eclipse. We talked of matters of urgency and came to the conclusion that we had to start doing something to counteract the nonsensical malarchy that we were seeing from the sse. Not long after, a wait an named Kizuki joined our ranks, right around the time Zucceta invaded Earth. They lost, of course, and not long after, Namek was revived by some force... My guess is the Earth dragon balls. Now, we went to Namek, as their dragon balls hold more power than the Earth's. We weren't going there for the wishes, though... We went there to kill whom they were connected to, and conquer Namek, and forge out grounds on it. However, we were then slain by Mayze, who snuck on to the planet with his Android assistant as we were taking the Moori capital. And that is how we arrived here!"
By the time Alaistair finished, they'd taken a full lap around the blood pond. He stopped, as he then claimed another statement, for her to understand why he and his knights had done this.
"My methods were not sound, but they have their reasons. I was once among the many caretakers of the universe, a Kai, as you would call us. For all intents and purposes, despite my alteration to one of the corrupted, I still have the desire to protect the living! However, letting life follow its own course results in it viciously biting itself and bringing it a step closer to death... That is why I wish to conquer it! To eliminate that which bites other life and create a paradise for victims. That even means destroying planets if I must... And that is why I am here in HFIL, Rei. My apologies for the rant... My mind withholds the worst sightings of life's suicidal methods. Ironically by what made me as I am now, honestly!"

The bio-android couldn't help but chuckle briefly as the Makaioshin whispered about the recent events. She raised a hand, a light waving gesture being made to accompany her as a visual sign of her amusement while she explained in a bemused tone. "My wife might be a lot of things, but she isn't a princess, and judging from the recent events I doubt she'll even hold any connections to the empire. In the end both of us were slain by the empire she once served."Reikiko couldn't help but sigh in frustration as she recalled the memory, yet Alaistair's words did bring her a mixture of curiosity and concern. What could the empire have wanted on Namek? Were they aware of the existence of the Dragon Balls? Whether it was truly the case or not, she did feel the urge to comment on the man's intentions. "I understand the reason behind your actions. Although I can't help but wonder if it wouldn't have been better to claim the Dragon Balls for your own agenda. Although I agree that left in the hands of most those artifacts would surely become a threat, but if one like yourself was to claim control over such a thing. But perhaps it's because I know what those Dragon Balls are capable of... The things one could accomplish with them..."She hummed softly yet at the same time when Alaistair apologized for his rant she couldn't help but smile, a genuine smile at him as she shook her head, a hint of kindness in her voice for a moment as she replied. "There is no need to apologize Alaistair, it merely shows us that even in your divinity you still retain a certain 'humanity'. It's admirable really, to be able to claim that you're so close to divinity and yet... I'm merely searching blindly for how to even reach to such a point. I was initially planning to try to figure out the Queen's intentions, whether her chaotic nature had some sort of reason, and then head for Earth or Namek to search for the Dragon Balls."It was shortly after they had finished their lap that she stopped right before the Makaioshin, raising a hand to lightly tap onto the armored clothing that covered her chest, as if she wanted the gesture to draw the focus toward herself. "I understand your reasoning entirely Alaistair, at one point I shared your desire, a desire born as a result of what I am. I was created with the intention to become a perfect being, and the closest one to such a state are those who can claim they obtained divinity. That is what I desire Alaistair: To walk the same road as the divine, to become what others would call a 'God', or you might have a better term, being more well-versed in the reality rather than religious myths."She chuckled briefly before she leaned slightly forwards. "In the end that's why you deem yourself worthy of taking the burden of being life's caretaker, am I right? Because you're the closest thing to a 'Kami' or a 'divine' being that has such noble reasons. Perhaps when I find the answers I seek, and obtain divinity I could become able to aid you in your endeavor. In the end surely we would be able to protect life from biting itself in the rear."Yet despite the smile on her lips she couldn't shake off the feeling of concern, that she needed to conquer the darkness within her, before she'd walk a cursed path rather than a divine one... ---- Alaistair

"Wife..? Wait, she is your wife," Alaistair exclaimed, raising both eyebrows as both his eyes widened! Reikiko then explained that the whole reason she, herself, was created was because her creators wanted to achieve that status known as a 'God.' Alaistair pinched the bridge of his nose, as he shook his head at perishable thought.
"That path wouldn't be wise to follow, I must say now. You are your own being and shouldn't be dictated to follow the ways of what some other beings want. I follow this path because, throughout the entirety of my personal existence and previous lives, I've always sought to keep life. It's my nature. I've simply gained a... 'Donated,' aspect, that makes me appear 'noble,' as you call it. Actually, speaking of that 'donation,' I've not seen this one thing for some time, since my return here," Alaistair rambled, becoming curious to a thought. He'd been corrupted by a demon of madness, who'd been sent to HFIL just as he had been long ago, and as far as Alaistair knew, that demon had to be here still.
It puzzled him. Why was that demon not here? He would've enjoyed torturing him immediately! Alaistair had never thought about it before, and as far as he'd been feeling, that demon had been sending him some nasty messages since he'd been on Vegeta... Did it finally be purified?
Alaistair shook his head, as he muttered, "Fech! Why am I even thinking of that guy?"
He returned his attention to Reikiko, whom he didn't notice had been smiling at him. He asked her, smiling himself and scratching his cheek nervously, "What's with the smile? Did I say something funny?"

"I was just thinking how alike we are."
The bio-android shook her head with a smile for a moment, seemingly thinking a bit further on what Alaistair was trying to tell her. His concern did make sense, yet at the same time she simply explained in a bit of a more cheerful tone.
"It's not like that Alaistair. While I might be build to seek perfection, I desire to reach it not because it's a way set before me, but a starting point of some sort. I desire to uncover the secrets of divinity, in order for me to find the answers I seek, answers that will give me the wisdom I desire to chose my own path. I guess you could compare it to the concept of growing up, and through maturity finally decide on what future you want to pursue."
Yet she couldn't help but ponder for a moment, raising a fingertip to her cheek as she pondered aloud.
"In that aspect we are the same. We both started somewhere, but throughout our experiences became like 'this', you already took a head-start and arrived at the point where you discovered what type of way you want to create for yourself, while I'm still trying to decide what I want to be, what purpose I desire to obtain."
Yes, if Alaistair had found his way already, then she was still searching for a path, for a future to pursue.

"Ah... I see," Alaistair said, solemnly. She proceeded to try to explain that her pursuit of perfection was because she had been set there, at the starting point. A reason she believed would help her seek a divine providence, that she believed was like growing up.
"Well. Yes and no. Maturity give you a streamline path, that will, inherently, give you only the basic principles without reason."
Reikiko proceed to ponder their similarities to one another, that led to them to this point. Alaistair nodded his head, an eyebrow raised and lips frowning, as he processed the thought and his personal beginnings. He replied, "I suppose so. You're still quite young, and you've got a magnificent head on your shoulders. You've got plenty of time to figure out what you want for yourself... I do have to ask, though, on what I sense... An air of doubt and confusion lingers about your presence, Rei. What brings you to that?"

"I wouldn't really call it confusion..."
For a moment she paused, clearly considering the words spoken by the Makaioshin. Was she doubting something? To be honest, she actually was. There had been so many doubts that plagued her mind, so many thoughts and ideas that wandered through her head, to the point she was uncertain about certain things she had always perceived as ordinary, at least until now. Things she had taken for granted, things she had considered normal, when they clearly weren't. What was her purpose in life? Was it to be a weapon wielded by someone, she wanted to punch the idiot who had ever considered that her destiny. Then was it to become a pacifist and play the same political role like those idiots on Earth did? Believing that words and pretty smiles would convince wars to end and invasions to cease?
No, she was uncertain what future awaited her, and yet the lilac-colored lass's gaze shifted from the sky back to Alaistair.
"I'm feeling lost Alaistair. Until now I always merely chased blindly after certain paths, or destinies that I perceived as mine to take. But now I realize it's not that simple. Our destiny and future is our own to forge, our own to decide and yet my personal thoughts and feelings on the matter are... questionable at best."
She sighed softly while she turned toward the man, deciding to indulge him in the pleasure of knowing her secret ambitions.
"Before my death I was gathering allies in order to travel to a distant planet known as Konats. Although it's records are few, reports say the denizen of this planet contain a vast wealth of magical prowess, and as someone who is fascinated with magic I desired to try to make it my own. The genes of a Dragonclan Namekian course through my veins, so it's not unlikely that I have some form of affinity toward it. At first I declared my desire to master this magic was to bring peace and prosperity to the Galaxy, I now realize that were words just to fool myself."
She took a few steps forwards before making a light spinning motion, her lips curving up into a grin as her spinning motion ended with her ki releasing a small gust of energy, a glint of excitement in her eyes.
"What I truly desire is to return to my rightful place: as an apex predator of the galaxy. Of course that will demand some time, or at the very least a suitable sacrifice to devour before I can regain my true power. The more complicated thoughts are but mere after-thoughts, sure your ideas sound promising and pleasant but I was never one with the personality to sit on a throne and enjoy the show. People do have a fondness for calling me a silver-tongued predator, so manipulation and fighting seem to run in my blood more than the seat-warming of a throne might."

Post by Alaistair on May 21, 2016 0:50:18 GMT
"Perhaps you misunderstand the idea of the throne, Rei... Can I call you Rei," Alaistair replied, looking back into the eyes of lilac, "The throne is the director's chair of the movie set. We have the vision of what we wish to make, but many little things tend to cloud it up. That is why we have editors, to look at the imagery and take out the nonensicle or the extremely whelming information."
Alaistair reached for Rei's hands, to lift them up and let her feel what he was intending, and he with her. He asked her, "You mentioned that Kaula was your wife, yes? Your other half that was slain with you by Zucceta? If I may be so bold, I am thinking you need to go talk with her, Rei. You are so overwhelmed by so many things, and seem to get excited greatly. You wish to be a predator, then by all means do so. However consult with your love first... Or, if you wish, you can come observe how my allies and I converse with each other, and plan. I haven't met with them in some time, and no doubt have been working to get stronger."
