That she didn’t last longer since her return to Vegeta didn’t surprise Kay-El one bit. The place was, well, kind of boring if she was honest. And honesty definitely felt like the best policy since she dealt primarily with herself. It was one thing to lie to a stranger, another to lie to a friend but lying to herself felt like the strangest and dumbest of all. This time of day the Raddistsu District bustled with all kinds far too self-involved to notice the five year old climb aboard a pink ship with black detailing, seemingly by herself. If they paid any attention or cared perhaps they’d wonder at the lack of adults, but they didn’t, and as Kay-El Coliflo climbed aboard The Pink Lady and started her up she allowed a small smile before blasting up into the sky above.
With no particular destination in mind, she wondered at the possibilities. Her own time on Namek cut so short, perhaps she’d go there and see what the place had to offer. Despite rumors of its apparent boring and lackluster ‘spirit,’ that there was nothing to do there but meditate and, well, she didn’t know, now, did she? Wasn’t that the whole idea behind this little jaunt of adventure? To go out and explore the vast reaches of the universe? With her ship she more than had the capability to live the dream.
Ever since she left Shikk behind, wanderlust hit her hard. Namek, her original destination in trying to find her brother, Pin, still seemed so far away and strange. When they went there to pick up General Mayze Kay never even took a step off the ship, too engrossed in everything happening more immediately around her. Absorbed and wrapped up in finally meeting with Pin and wanting to impress his friends, she said nothing when he offered her a chance to go explore, only that she was fine with whatever. And while that had been true then, it no longer felt like enough. After their meetup on Earth and then later coming to Vegeta together after Namek, she knew Pin was only a scouter call away and they'd be able to find each other more or less at will, now.
Setting the course for Namek she settled back into her seat and stroked Pounce gently under the chin just the way the kitten liked it. Maybe she'd get some new recruits for the White List, who knew? Then again, maybe she'd just go off on some strange adventure, checking in wit Pin on Vegeta once in a while because she could. It was time to find her footing in the world and sometimes one needed to be alone to do such a thing.
She sent a quick message to Pin using her scouter that she was leaving Vegeta for a few days and he shouldn't worry. If he needed her, he knew how to reach her, after all.
