He streaked across the sky at breakneck speeds, the lush green forest passing by under him as an afterthought. He'd been training so hard this past week that he'd almost forgotten that there was such a thing as a social life, not that he had one to begin with. Suddenly, his ears perked up as he heard something...something akin to a cat getting it's tail stepped on, if you wanted to be blunt about it. But no, this wasn't an animal. It was a person, and he could tell this by sensing the life force of the subject.
Like an animal, he stopped in midair and sniffed. He'd been training his senses to become heightened this whole time but he wasn't quite where be needed to be. He knew the smell of cotton candy perfume when he smelled it and looked down. There on the ground, in a clearing he saw a young blonde woman dressed in a yellow sundress. She looked quite frightened, and upon further inspection he could understand why.
Stalking up to the young woman was a huge, brown, ugly bear. More than likely, this was a grizzly but be couldn't tell as he wasn't a zoologist. He quickly lowered down to the ground, placing himself in between the bear and the woman, calling back to the woman. "Step back, ma'am! I'll take care of this!"
The young woman smirked as she watched him do battle with the bear, the man matching the strength of the wild animal. She didn't step back at all, no, she just watched him and this giant animal as they rolled and wrestled on the ground. The bear yelped! Sangu punched it right on the tip of the nose! It started beeping ...and buzzing...and...wait....
"What in the name of Yemma's beard?" Sangu looked at the odd behavior of the animal as sparks began to fly from it's nose. "Waitaminute...this isn't a bear, is it?!"
The young blonde rolled those beautiful crystal blue eyes. "Gee, what gave ya that idea big boy? And what the hell happened to your red hair?!"
She-...she knew him? He spun to look at the girl and narrowed his eyes, looking her body over. A small strap had fallen from her sundress, revealing a tattoo on his left shoulder. The tattoo was a very familiar symbol. His eyes widened as he noticed the woman's form changing slowly, her skin darkening to a deep purple and her hair becoming longer and white...her dress tore as her muscles began to buldge.
Surisingly, Sangu just stood there and mockingly looked at his wrist like he was wearing a watch. If you were there, and you listened closely, then you could swear you'd heard him whistling an old metal song he'd heard. Something about bells tolls. Sangu...was unimpressed. "Is this the best Cube can come up with?"
The muscular, purple, ugly alien blinked. "Wait...what....you're not scared?"
Sangu folded his arms over his chest. "Nope. Seen better. All that powering up and you aren't a match for me. I would have thought that Cube would at LEAST send a worthwhile challenge for me." He turned his back, corner of his lips curling upwards in a smirk. "You can go back to Cube now and tell him that I am coming for him, and when I do...I am going to kill him. Rather than hear the screams of millions of innocents, he will provide the scream of pain. Music to my ears for what he did to my family." His aura begin slowly wavering around his body, the human having obviously reached a new level of power.
The alien just stood there, mouth agape in astonishment. She was one of Cube's strongest fighters! How could he not even take her seriously?! In a rage, the monster exploded forward and- right into a straight fist from the heroic human. Sangu then went on to twist his body around and jump, his knee connecting with the alien's temple. She hit the ground like a bag of bricks.
Sangu chuckled. "Like I said. Tell Cube that his end is near, and this time? He's going to stay dead. I am finished with his stupid games. Kay?" He patted the twitching alien on the cheek and then blazed off into the sky.
