Daika sighed. This is ridiculous. Every time I believe that I have gotten stronger, another chump with a power level that surpasses my own several times over shows up and destroys me. First it was Breech, then Arias, and now Celmaru and his wife Phae. I train as hard as I possibly can and I still can’t catch up to any of them! Every time I do, they shoot ahead of me once again! His lips curled downwards in a frown.
The tall Saiyan was at this current point in time sitting on top of a large building in Satan City. The sun was beginning to set, which meant the full moon would soon appear. It was something that Daika was looking forwards to. For too long, he had neglected the primal transformation of his people. The Oozaru, or the Great Ape it is called by the common populace of earth, is what a Saiyan man or woman can transform into when there is a full moon present in the sky. Celestial bodies such as moon emit energy sources called “Blutz Waves” when it reflects light from a nearby star. When a Saiyan absorbs enough of these waves through their eyes, it causes some kind of reaction with genetic information stored within a Saiyans tail, transforming them into the mighty Oozaru.
Currently, Daika had other ideas. Whilst other Saiyans would jump at the chance to use it, and burn entire planets to the ground, Daika was in no such mood. Right now, he was studying an odd pair of “Sunglasses” he had picked up from one of the stores in the Satan City shopping district. They looked like any other normal pair, however it was the name that grabbed his attention.
They were called “Blutz Bans”.
He picked up two pairs whilst he was around the shopping areas, and had begun to do a little bit of research on them. Apparently, these shades were created by the Blue Banner Army to stop Saiyans from going into their Oozaru forms during the full moon. They had special lenses that could stop the Blutz waves from entering the eyes of a particular warrior, preventing lots of death and destruction. While it seemed like a good idea, the only problem the warrior could see is with forcing the Saiyan population on Earth to wear such things.
Hmm, it seems that even this far after the invasion, people are still scared of the Saiyans and what they can transform into. Might as well test them out to see if they work. If they don’t, well, I’ll probably get my ass kicked again. Daika stood up on the roof, sliding one of the pairs of Blutz Bans onto his face as the sun began to set. Once they were on, he turned to look in the direction of the rising moon. He stared at the moon for a good while, waiting to see if anything would happen. Surprisingly, the pair of sunglasses worked as advertised. They completely blocked the Blutz Waves from reaching his eyes and activating his transformation. Ah, so they do work! Just what I needed. A pair for me, and a pair for Arias.
The Saiyan warrior then leaped up in the air, flying off in the direction of the great Bamboo forest, which he knew was once of Arias’s favorite places to sleep. Hopefully, I will find her there. Without my scouter, searching for her will be a little bit difficult.
