When she turned to look at theMaeve as she heard her speak toward Etoru. Telling him not to fight is something that he being a saiyan child would be something he would not want to hear. For saiyans Ninjin knew all to well that the thirst for battle and the thirst for revenge was a strong enough thing that it was the basis of their Super Saiyan state. She barely remembered the day she transformed all she remembered was a bliding rage and desperation that pushed her through the wall that was in front of her. “You are right Maeve he should not be thinking about killing someone like he is… but he is thinking it. Because he blames his target for all the darkness within himself… Yet I agree that you should not lose yourself into the hate…”
Ninjin trailed off as she knew little what else to say as she listened to Maeve’s words continue to be spoken no sooner as hers had ended. When the demoness turned her attention toward Ninjin she raised and listened to the words. She understood what was being said and yet she could not respond to her in the moment as she would need to think about it. This was something she had not thought about when it came to her children. Would she truly allow them to become a monster in order to avenge something that happened. Would she allow them to avenge her and Toma should something happen to the pair? Those where questions she would need to dwell upon. Yet the thoughts slipped away at the attempt to diffuse the situation only in the way Articho could do brought a slight smile to her face as she looked up at her former pupil.
Etoru’s response to Maeve was not really all that shocking to Ninjin. It was quite in line with the saiyan blood she knew that pumped within his veins. Closing her eyes she took in a deep breath and exhaled as she kept herself calm. Turning Ninjin would stand there and listen to the entirety of his words before she glanced at Articho and then around the group. “She only runs herself off hate because that is all that she knows and all that she was shown inside of her life before she pushed herself into her position… If we succumb to the hate instead of harnessing it to push ourselves when we feel we cannot train anymore then we would be no better than she is. And you are right Vi-Poi… We do not have enough to help everyone off the planet…”
Taking another long deep breath she turned and began to walk toward the edge of the lookout rubbing her chin. “Articho your spot on that stone on the beach has grown cold. Come by and visit sometime.” The brief attempt to lighten her move she would allow herself to fall off the edge of the Lookout and then burst off with her flight after falling a short distance. She would head toward her home once more her mind in turmoil about everything that was going on.

"Created to be a weapon huh." In some ways, Defrosch could relate to Reikiko's situation. While he wasn't 'created as a weapon' there were of course attempts to raise him to become one naturally. Obviously he would have none of it; that is why he is on earth after all. He knew how this felt- being told you're something you're not. It was sad, surely Reikiko knew that too. Defrosch was at a loss for what to say about it. He finished the thought with an awkward cough, "Thats... Something."
At the very least, Reikiko lucked out by meeting Scargot. He recalled hearing Scargot's voice in his head once- or at least what he thought was Scargot's voice- six months ago. It was a shame Defrosch had not yet formally met him, he seemed like quite the guy. However, Defrosch caught on to Reikiko's contradiction. She developed a mind of her own, and made an effort to not be the weapon her creators were forcing her to be, but now, she seemingly welcomed this... Was she giving up now? "... So what if you're not made to be a pacifist? You know what us Arcosians are famous for, right? If so, I don't need to tell you. I wasn't 'raised' to be merciful, humble, nor kind... Yet, here I am, closer to those traits by my own will... Against all odds, an anomaly among other Arcosians."
Defrosch shrugged, picking up the book he was reading before he came out to the main platform to look over it once more for a moment. "Funny... My people honestly assume, in unfathomable arrogance, that we are gods. Laughable, really. Nobody so close minded can be anything close to a god." He sighed, also putting away his book exactly where it should be. "Like I said out there; its not as simple as people think, being Kami."
The Bio-Android did seem to have her own notion curiosity in asking Defrosch the reason for his own no less. "Hm. Dunno really. I guess it reminds me of another story. One where a spiteful, hasty runaway escapes the ridicule of his people for thinking even slightly differently, and attempts to find a life elsewhere as a hero as well... Heh, and he isn't too great at it either."

Articho watched Etoru leave the tower with only the promise of his revenge left behind. He sighed, crossing his arms and worry crossing his face. He hoped the kid would learn that killing Zucceta or anyone, for that matter, wouldn't make the situation any better. In the end, it would only lead to more war and death on all sides and the hybrid was unsure of their ability to pull out a win this time should another war start. Earth was still recovering and they had lost one of their strongest fighters. As of right now, Earth was crippled and another invasion would likely lead to them losing this time around. And a second invasion might come sooner than later if Etoru acts too rashly.
Articho watched Vi fly away, his expression souring. Bringing civilians into this fight? That would be sending them to their deaths. Vi would be murdering them just as much as the Saiyans would. Why was the android acting so coldly? Didn't he want to protect the people of Earth? "Do you have a few screws loose or something? We can't send civilians to fight the Saiyans. They'll be slaughtered!" the hybrid protested. "That's what your precious BBA is for, bolts-for-brains. It's their, and our, job to protect them. Asking them to fight a war they couldn't hope to stand a chance against defeats that purpose." Articho paused and stared down at his shoes in frustration. "There has to be another way... Some way we could strong enough to stand up to the Saiyans quickly..."
Articho shoved his hands into his pockets and walked towards the edge of the lookout. He had to finish digging his ship out of the snow and get to painting it. He didn't want that damn Knutts logo on the side anymore. He looked back at Ninjin and smiled. "I'll be sure to," he replied. "I'll bring something for the kids next time I come by, too." With that, he dropped off of the tower and flew back towards his ship.

"Funny Defrosch. If I didn't know better I'd think you were talking about me." Maeve spoke, cutting into the last bit of their conversation. "Other than the male pronouns that statement could 'fit me to a tee.' That is the mortal saying is it not?" She asked while she stepped into the library. "Though, I suppose I didn't run away so much as I got cast out..." A grimace cut across her face as she imagined the day she was hurled into this realm. It wasn't a good day.
She took to looking to the shelves upon shelves of books with cocktail of curiosity and familiarity. How often had Bing stowed himself away in here to search for this or that in some dusty old tome? How many times would she come to find him asleep with his nose in a book? How empty and foreign would this library be without his familiar warmth? A cool chill moved down her spine. She felt her body freeze up as she physically recoiled at the very thought.
"R-rei." She choked. Desperate for distraction. "It's funny to find you two in here. Bing would often come here in search of answers to questions no one asked him." She forced a smile despite mentioning the thing she was trying to ignore. "I can't help but wonder..." She trailed her eyes across the book in the woman's grasp.
“...What sort of answers you seek."
A soft smile formed as Maeve took a seat beside the alien runaway and the man made child of god. To anyone else sitting casually beside these two would seem bizarre but to Maeve it was the norm. "Is that Bing's old journal? Perhaps...Perhaps he wrote something about his departure." Maeve said after catching a glance at the casual lettering scratched into the tome.

The bio-android shook her head lightly, and indeed the tome she had just pulled back had in fact been Scargot's diary, the one that Maeve noticed had been Bing's own journal, seemingly a record of his trials and tribulations during his journey in the footsteps of her father. The bio-android chuckled briefly at Defrosch's comment.
"It's not like that. I'm not planning to merely be a weapon, nor do I desire to follow the path my father wanted me to take."
Yet it was at that time that Maeve entered, her gaze briefly lingering onto the demon as she pondered about her question.
"Answers that seemingly can't be found in books. I desire something, a special something that requires the wisdom and strength only a Kami would possess. Only through that will I be able to find the answers I seek, and with the way things are now, I'm afraid those answers will have to be found elsewhere."
She smiled briefly, a genuine smile as she looked around, a soft sigh escaping her lips.
"It's not that rare for me to be here, do please remember this sanctuary was once the home of my father. Nevertheless, I fear my presence might be causing some tension among your allies, so I decided to retreat into the library for a bit. Yet it seems neither Bing or my father wrote down what they believe to be the answer I seek, although I do believe I already know their answer..."

"Well, y'know as long as you don't plan on being some kinda garbage tyrant, then I don't see anyone trying to bother you." He gave a light shrug to Rei before going to check a separate shelf nearby for another book that he was previously reading.
Defrosch raised an eyebrow a little as Maeve made her entrance. Cast out, she said? At the very least here was but one, distinctly direct phrase that would come to the Arcosian's mind on that particular subject. "... Their loss, to be honest."
As for what answers he sought, he looked a bit perplexed. "Er... Its a bit personal, but there's not much point in me looking at the moment now that you mention it though... Can't exactly maintain a decent level of focus after what just happened." Defrosch let out a sigh as he stood up. "Sorry, you'll have to excuse me. I think I need to cool off properly. We can uh... Chat later if you want, or something." He waved to the two as he slipped out of the library to reach the main platform before shooting off into the sky.

Maeve smiled softly, nodding to to the Arcosian as he made his exit before cutting her gaze back to Rei. She looked over the strange woman as she spoke in her usual cryptic manner not giving the demoness the straight answer she had sought. The way the elegant amalgam spoke allowed her to weave effortlessly away from the more direct point of Maeve's questioning leaving the demoness unsatisfied. The demoness decided not to push it however, if Rei didn't wish to speak to her directly she wouldn't stand around and decipher her riddles. Instead, Maeve strolled past her to take one of the books resting within the numerous shelves. There was... Something she desired within their pages.
Answers that she was seeking.
"I know we haven't had the best of terms between us but even among the tensity of my allies remember that there is refuge here should you seek it. I know...How much this place means to you and even with Bing being...Gone...I want you to know that this place will always be made available to you as long as I have a say." With that she'd give her a courteous bow before turning. "Do not hesitate to visit...And if you ever wish to talk, I am always willing to offer an ear." She said forcing a little smile and playful flick of her pointed ears to the Bio Android before stepping out, closing the door behind her.
She looked down to the tome she had gathered and opened up the first few pages. Toma might have failed in taking the reigns but...Within those pages were the answers needed for the next successor.
