Cold.
That's all Bing could feel.
But how was he feeling? He died, didn't he? What little cognitive ability he had left was questioning what exactly was going on. Usually, dead people were supposed to be dead, not mostly dead, or slightly alive; dead people were supposed to be just a corpse.
He could hear a saw whirring, or perhaps it was a electric screwdriver drilling something? He couldn't quite tell which. Either way, he could suddenly feel a bit more of his consciousness return to him. Something was attached to him now, but where at, he couldn't discern. His mind was still muddy--a sea of thoughts in a small puddle. He tried to open his eye, but couldn't. Hopefully his sight, along with his motor skills, would return before whatever was occurring was finished.
More whirring blades could be heard, though this time it sounded closer; more sinister. The sound of metal cutting against flesh could be heard, yet Bing felt no pain. It was a surreal experience to sense these things, yet not feel them in the slightest. Perhaps this was some type of after-life punishment? Had he been so wicked that he was damned to a punishment so vile, even King Yemma would not see him away?
In a way, he was right.
Suddenly, there was feeling again. He could feel his fingers move, though only just barely. Alongside it, he felt something new: Metallic... Implements were forcibly connected to him in some form. Wires ran alongside his veins, supporting his dead body, and bringing it back to life. Once again, he tried to open his eyes, but still couldn't. He tried to frown, but he still wasn't in control.
The procedure continued, though this time in a different form. Thoughts drifted into his mind, or at least it felt like it. In reality, it felt more like... Data. It felt so unnatural. Is this how Vipoi thinks? In ones and zeroes? He couldn't quite discern what the data was actually telling him, but it seemed like it was ordering him to do something.
Suddenly, in the black abyss that was his vision, words suddenly appeared.

SAIYAN SOLAR EMPIRE SUBSERVIENCE PROTOCOL ACTIVATED.
Bing's eyes suddenly shot open as he took a deep breath. He jolted to an upright position, surveying the room around him. From what he could tell, he had just been operated on, though he still wasn't quite sure why. His eye ... No ... His eyes darted from left to right. He gripped at his face with a hand he did not have, only to find his face suddenly become cold. He peered downwards, noticing that where there was once a stumpy lump of flesh, there was now a cold, steel arm. He instinctively pulled his new arm away, staring at it in confusion.
"What ... What in the world?"
A voice pierced the silent veil "It seems the procedure went well. How do you feel?"
Bing turned, seeing the face of someone vaguely familiar. It was the Zoonian from Earth; the same one who helped Zucceta make her exit.
He stared back down at his metallic hand. "I feel..." He paused. He couldn't quite find the right words. After a moment, he clenched his metallic fist.

"Angry."
