She stared blankly up at the new Arcosian and frowned. Demoness...that name, she didn't like it, she decided. The threat..those she used to get all the time back home so Kay let it roll off her, bounce off her shoulders because, if she didn't, some day she'd crack and crumble beneath the weight of them all. Besides, it was always better to try and help resolve issues peacefully before resorting to violence, in her experience - not that she had as much of that as old people but for a child she had more than her fair share. It's not like the was a full-blooded demon or even used her powers unless she had to. Not fair, but she also learned long ago that life wasn't fair and people were going to call her names or worse because of her mixed blood and somewhat potentially nefarious origins. Truth be told, she never met her father, and wasn't sure she wanted to, either. Not knowing much about him she refused to make that call right now. First, she had to find her brother, and that was that. Anything after that could be decided later. " I...think I know someone that can help you," she said, looking up at Shivere after Sanguinis finished talking. While punching in a quick text message to her best friend, Core Stold , about their being a new Arcosian in town that could use some help, she didn't hear much of what else went on around her. The five year old had her moments at being good at multi-tasking, but usually she failed horribly, and while she caught Sanguinis' attempts to fix things to a degree, she focused on her task, coming back to her surroundings as the creepy thing exchanged some powerful words with the Defrosch. At least it seemed to be helping a little, too, offering the new Arcosian directions toward civilization. But tension only rose in the air, thick enough to choke on, and Kay almost took off and flew up into the trees. Her eyes narrowed, why would it need to bring in friends? What would they have to talk about? Maybe they didn’t like Arcosians or something, but she doubted that to be the case. Then again, in his world, you never knew who hated who anymore. Taking a few steps away from everyone, she leaned against a tree, tense as if waiting for the fireworks to begin. tag: Shivere

A young Arcosian knowns as Core was simply minding of his business today. There was nothing to do much in this place and to be fair; he was kind of having a boring day. Beryl’s ship was unfindable, Master Ninjin and Jinzon couldn’t be found and Core didn’t had any news of Kay-El, his best friend on Earth, it was really weird considering that he got news from her relatively often. Core was at his Café, sipping some hot chocolate, nothing really mattered more than the sweets he was given. After all, some boring day could help a bit when trying to recover between trainings.
When suddenly, he heard some kind of ringing coming from his heavy-weighted shirt’s pocket, he would take it, it was his cellphone, something he had been forced to buy since apparently everyone needed one on this planet to communicate with each other. ‘’ Let’s see… why are you ringing little thingy?’’ Core would say to himself a bit as he saw he had a new message from Kay-El. ‘’ Uh?’’ He would say again as he read it, widened his eyes a bit and got out of the café rather quickly, barely waving goodbye to his friend manager of the place, who was confused as to why Core was going away so fast.
The message mentioned the Fukurou Forest, it was rather far, but Core had the speed advantage of flying so high and so fast that air resistance almost didn’t existed at all. the young Arcosian would fly the fastest he could, even breaking without realizing it his true form, which would change quickly in a spark of light. Before, he was in his suppressed form and his body would make a powerful flash in the air, quickly changing him to his true form, decupling his power; if Kay needed help and asked for him, it’s because something was going down quickly.
After a while of flying, Core would pick up Kay-El’s ki signature, she was surrounded by many signatures as well, most of them being quite strong, even though he knew most of them could transform or had weight like him. He would quickly rush the ground and in a matter of seconds, he would land, slowing himself down to hover slowly and land next to Kay-El, he would address her a light smile and then a serious one, maybe it wasn’t the time for their usual greeting hug, he would turn to all the others, there was two Arcosian, some weird creature he never saw before and a human, he was confident that the Arcosian he saw before, which he knew was rather polite, wouldn’t be against him. Core would go to Kay-El’s ear and whisper lightly. ‘’ S-so? What’s the problem here?’’ Core would ask her simply with a whisper, trying to get to understand the situation better.

[Thread PL: 38,437 | Overdrive (x3) Activated! Current PL: 115,311] [Four Cycloids have accompanied Breech. Cycloid's PL: 5,000 Each] "I don't think anyone could possibly be afraid of you, Arcosian. My friend here is just worried he might get... How you say... Dogpiled"From above, the voice of the cold, villainous Doctor Breech rang out. On either side of him floated two massive robots, each one sporting a single red gem as its way of sight. The five robotic warriors slowly floated downwards, landing directly in front of Contagion. As they hit the ground, the towering Cycloids fanned out in four opposite directions, essentially using their bodies as shields from possible incoming attacks on either the Good Doctor or his goopy compatriot. He scanned the battlefield briefly, noting the Power Level of each possible combatant. For the most part, they were up against simple competition; except of course for the three Arcosians on the battlefield. Breech was painfully aware of the Arcosian people's innate ability of metamorphosis. They had a myriad of forms, each one seeming to be stronger than the last. Most people would be terrified to face three members of the strongest race in the galaxy. Instead, Breech was painfully excited. He glared at Defrosch with interest. He'd met this one before, he was sure of it. With his bone-chilling, emotionless voice, he addressed the Salt Lord. "If I recall correctly, we've encountered one another before, have we not? You were in the Northern Capitol when I was trying to exterminate a pesky Saiyan warrior. Back then you were a bit... Taller." He bowed graciously. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance yet again."Breech turned to Contagion, posing a question to amalgam. "Did you perhaps call any other reinforcement? We might need Zyajin here to further tip the scales in our favor."

Arias flew into the area, surveying the scene from above as she was grossed out by whatever the hell came out from the puddle. What the hell is that? It looks... gross. eurgh, that thing is just, sickening to even look at. She landed out of sight, but still watching exactly what was going on. She noticed Kay-El in the mass of random races, and wondered why Kay-El would be here in a mass of weird creatures. She noticed the two Arcosians, and a bead of sweat trickled down her forehead. Three Arcosians.. What the hell is this little gathering? And what would a human even be doing in here? And WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SICKENING CREATURE? She tried to avert her gaze from Contagion, sickened by his very existence in terms of appearance. She was also worried because of the large robots accompanying a small man that seemed very strong from her viewpoint. Hang on, I know that man and his stupid robots. She narrowed her eyes, and since she didn't have ki suppression, was probably easily sensed.

Shivere took a step back and leapt into the air, pushing himself back with his ki until he was roughly twenty feet above the ground. The varied crowd that continuously seemed to grow was somewhat larger than he was used to interacting with. His interest lay primarily with the other Arcosians that had appeared. He had not been briefed on Yardrat as to how many others of his species he would encounter, but his original assumption had been - in his own mind - that only a few would exist on this planet, and that they would certainly have dominated it under AE rule. Nearly everyone here seemed to know at least one other person, and their back and forth arguments and other conversations seemed to blur together in Shivere's mind. He was curious to see what would happen with this "Contagion", and these two other Arcosians. One of them gave him a true Arcose vibe, but the other... This "Core Stold" appeared to have a friendship with at least a few of these lesser beings. By the time Shivere could cross his arms, a man - no, and android - appeared in a small group, obviously the leader of the robotic bodyguards whose power levels were obviously much lower, despite appearing more visibly threatening. Now a Saiyan? What was going on? It was time to find a few answers. The group would be able to sense Shivere's power as it blasted upwards. In his concentration, time seemed to slow around him. He pushed himself further and could feel his musculature expanding outward and tightening into powerful, lean muscle. His horns grew outward as his body grew taller. He loved the sensation of leaving his suppressed form - it made him feel weak in comparison to what he knew to be the true power of his original form. The only thing that he never did enjoy about his brute form was the drop in his voice, which felt unnatural by comparison. He yelled out, loud enough that the boom of his voice could be heard at least a few hundred meters away. "What the hell is going on?!"

"That is precisely what I would like to inquire about." mused the Bio-Android as he arrived on the scene and stood beside Doctor Breech and Contagion, looking out across the group before them, frowning at the sight of the power levels potentially arrayed against them. There was a singular human male, one Saiyan female, three Arcosians, and a demonic Saiyan hybrid girl child judging from the powers he could sense from them.
He looked over towards the amorphous white form that was his counterpart with a raised eyebrow. "I believe this situation has developed beyond our current capabilities to undertake, presuming all of them were to side against you, which in turn means siding against us." he informed the group of Biologically and Mechanically created beings that were his compatriots. No doubt Contagion would deride him for being something as superfluous as a coward or something similar, however at this moment in time, none of them held the power to deal with this many threats at once, even if they combined their powers. The logical conclusion then would be to encourage a brief respite and depart.
Although he would not have minded being able to acquire a genetic sample from each of the Arcosians that were present, he very much doubted that any of them would be willing to share a sample of their genetic code to him at this current moment in time, if ever judging from the Doctor's reaction to one of them in particular. Zyajin was growing concerned as time moved on around them... this many high powers gathered in a singular location was bound to attract somebodies attention, and he for one did not particularly feel like meeting whoever came to investigate, especially if it meant more numbers arrayed against them.

Post by Contagion on Mar 25, 2016 3:11:45 GMT
"I apologize for the sudden intrusion my off world friend." Contagion's voice slithered as a telepathic pulse as he moved to walk between Breech and Zyajin while keeping his eye on Shivere. "I just was feeling a little outnumbered: first with the ignorant would be 'hero' who, I repeat, salivated over a child and accosted you due to your race. Then by the arcosian who fancies himself an Earthling. Now there's multiple people surrounding us... Another saiyan and one more of your kind. You can't blame me for feeling out of place." He said with a raspy laugh as he outstretched his hands to his sides as if he were presenting his two mighty companions. "So I gave a ring to my friends."
He glanced to Breech's robotic squadron with a mix of amusement and genuine interest before giving Breech a look. He turned back to Zyajin recalling how he quite bluntly explained that they should get the hell out of there for being out matched only to survey the gathering of assorted fighters, feeling each of their ki. One of his eyes growing out of his gooey figure even looked straight into the hidden saiyaness' eyes as she observed him with horror from her secluded stop.
"Perhaps you are right Zyajin, I feel we have become increasingly unwelcome in this gathering... We should take our leave." He said with a smug little chuckle as he casually turned and started walking away, expecting his companions to follow.
He closed his eyes, sending a telepathic pulse that would only be heard by Breech and Zyajin as he casually strolled away.
"Doctor, if any of them attempts to pursue send your Cycloids out after the weakest among them. That human, the child, the saiyaness hiding, make them question if we are worth chasing if their little friends are in danger. Keep the remaining at our flank and I'll attempt to ensnare some thralls to further aid us. Zyajin, if worst comes to worst keep the fighters separated."
Contagion meanwhile would simply wave off the collected fighters as he attempted to make his exit.

(Been 48 hours since Contagion's post. Defrosch hasn't posted, so I'm going to keep the thread going by posting) He looked at Kay, the child having impressed him by not backing down from the fearsome army of mechanical beings. He'd remembered why he'd wanted to impress the hybrid to begin with, so while it seemed that he was "salivating" over the child as Contagion said, he was just impressed by the child's power. He knew she was definitely more powerful than him. Then there was Shivere, who's condescending tone and death threats had irked him slightly. He knew Arcosians to be quite arrogant, but this one was seemingly more arrogant than your normal Arcosian even though he himself stood on equal ground with the ice man. He smirked as he thought about how the two would eventually fight and it would be fun. Contagion. As he looked upon Contagion, his anger caused his power to begin to slowly rise. Sangu was a warrior who fought mostly on pure emotion and this "prick", this white puddle of goop had garnered his annoyance if nothing else. He growled. "Has anyone ever told you that you're a dick? Surely they have, and if they haven't then they're obviously daft. Go ahead and fly away, coward, but know that one day I will get my hands on you and when I do..." he made a crushing motion with his hand. "...this freak won't be able to save you."He stood with Defrosch and Core Stold now, not backing down from Breech and his Cycloids. He looked to the two Arcosians who seemed to be on the side of good and assured them. "Well, if you guys got that guy with the ugly mustache, I'm sure I can take out a couple of the tin cans. Whaddya say, guys?" He asked with a smile.
Would the two Arcosians see his willingness to help? Would this be seen as a heroic act? What did Kay-El think?

Defrosch let out a dry sigh. What a display of stupidity this has turned out to be. He looked over to Shivere and rolled his eyes. "Oi. Green-dome jackass. Don't soil yourself over nothing."
Soon after that- as promised- the goo puddles 'friends' showed up. Defrosch raised an eyebrow, largely unimpressed with the turnout, though not surprised in the least. It was the dirtbag tin-can from a while back and some Saiyan-based schoolyard science fair experiment. "You know, there's no need to lie, Fossil. Not that you were trying, that is. You hate me, I hate you, its that simple."
At the very least, the other creature had some sense of reason. "If I was in your position, I'd listen to Spikes over there. Gee, at least one of you is smart."
Defrosch would soon pick up on the presence of... Another Saiyan, it seems. Somewhere off into the trees. Something about their flow of energy was odd, but nothing about them specifically. Perhaps they were ill? It was hard to tell from simply skimming for inbound energies.
Fortunately, there would at least be a singular familiar energy coming along; it was Core Stold, an Arcosian youngling and friend of Kay that Defrosch had met in the park. Defrosch gave Core a short nod. "Stay with her, Core. Keep her away from these bozos, you got that?"
Try as he might to plead his case, some people wouldn't buy what the freakish slime-beast was selling- Sangu especially so. "To be honest, the both of you are getting on my nerves." Glancing between the two, Defrosch's glare fell back on Contagion once more. "Don't think I didn't see you lookin' at her funny either, Sludge." With an exasperated 'hmph' Defrosch backed up to where Kay and Core were, ever suspicious of the artificial beings and their mysterious motives. "There are more important things to do than fall into whatever setup they're trying to pull off. I suggest you re-prioritize."
Yo, sorry I didn't post earlier. I had easter plans to fix up after all. (That and Proboards went down when I was meaning to post yesterday.)

Core, please help, new Arcosian in town...I don't think he likes me all that much. In the Fukurou Forest. That was the message she sent so when he showed up her eyes widened, seeing him in his true for the first time. Now, however, wasn't the time or place to be asking him about it or even telling him how cool he looked (and he did!). Knowing Core he read the first part and location and zipped right over, the thought made her genuinely smile. About to tell him about Shivere and introduce the two, she was interrupted by the arrival of the sludge's 'friends,' and then some. This particular patch of forest was feeling a little crowded as of late. Five other figures appeared, mostly robots, and Kay frowned. How many friends does this guy have? the five year old thought, looking at how four seemed to hover around the others as if awaiting orders. Maybe...they didn’t have enough programming to function without this new guy they showed up with? Despite having an android for an older, half brother, Kay knew nothing about them having never really run into any before. This new character seemed to know Defrosch as well and Kay began to wonder what all he’d gotten mixed up in - was it something to worry about? And then the newcomer, Shivere, took to the air as well. Everyone seemed to tense and all Kay wanted to do was bring the level down a few thousand degrees, but with Shivere transforming into his true form, that seemed less and less likely to happen. She huddled closer to Core, remembering the threat against her Shivere uttered, and she had a feeling he’d meant it. Leaning in, she whispered to Core, “ M-maybe you should call your teacher...these guys look like the type to cause trouble.” A peace keeper seemed like a really good idea right now… Another new arrival appeared, exchanged words with the really creepy people, and seemed to survey the scene. Kay-El wondered if any more would show up because, if they did, would they actively start something? The idea of calling in Core’s boss sounded better and better with each passing second and she looked between each stranger curiously, wondering exactly what their angle was. Memorizing their faces, if they tried something, she wanted to remember them for when she was stronger. Each and every one would paint a target on their own backs if they even dared to attack one of her friends - not that she felt she could do much about it now. But someday...maybe she would. Unaware of her own strengths, the five year old looked toward Contagion as he spoke once more. He tried to explain why he’d called his ‘friends,’ but it just sounded creepy and like a bunch of excuses. There was something more sinister even Kay picked up on, and she could be naive at times like now, but she didn’t like the looks of these guys one little bit. And then it seemed as if maybe, just maybe, they were going to back off. Having faced bullies and worse back home on Shikk, Kay-El steadfastly stood her ground now, her eyes widening only a little at Sanguinis’ choice of words. If her Nanny were here, she’d smack Sang on the arm with a stern warning of ‘ language!’ With two children about, Nana wouldn’t let that one slide, not even in the midst of danger. As the hot-headed ginger really started to get, well, heated, Kay put a hand on his arm and said, “ Stop...they’re not worth it. Let the cowards run and hide.” As Defrosch spoke out, she thought of Nana again, but the Saiyan woman always was too overprotective of the girl. Then again, no one could blame her, Kay was Nana’s responsibility now until they found Pin. Even if Kay probably knew more curse words than her Nanny did, she kept that to herself in the way children have of picking up on things adults don’t want them to. Her dark eyes widened at the implication from the accusation Defrosch’ threw at ‘Sludge.’ And then not only did he turn and tell Core to stay with her, making the child even more nervous, he actually came and joined them. She huddled closer to them both and, when he said to prioritize, Kay nodded, and began to sing, channeling Ki for an attack. It was time to get serious, and she shucked the weighted coat. “ I’ll follow your lead…” she said to the Arcosian, having no problem with him in charge. He, at least, seemed to know their potential enemies and knowledge could help them win.

The young Arcosian, upon arriving in this place who already looked like a battleground, would notice something in Kay-El’s look, he then realized she had never seen him in his true form, he would blush lightly and wonder what she was thinking of it, but those thoughts were quickly interrupted by the arrival of many new threat, Core would turn around slowly, there was new fun people that had joined the party, including one that was keeping up to his power level with weights, and he had no chance to take at this point, there was too many threat at the same exact place, there was no place for holding back when speaking of Kay-El’s safety. The changeling slowly removed his weighted clothes and cracked his neck, his power level sky-rocketing in a second after he removed them.
When he heard the voice of the new doctor first, Core would turn back to look at the human-like cyborg, floating in the air above them, who the hell did he thought he was to act like he was some kind of superior being, especially since his power level was nothing Core could sense, there was no way he could be a possibly danger. When he heard about the definitively cyborg for help, Core would smirk widely. ‘’ Call everyone you can mister android. There is no coming out of this place if you expect to hurt one of my friends here today… and every Arcosian who isn’t part of the empire or power-hungry and evil are good in my book, so you better keep your toys back if you don’t want me to break your little fun.’’ Core would answer back to the evil man, of course this wasn’t going to work, androids were known not to have any common sense, he wouldn’t go back from Core’s threat and power only.
Core would then notice the green Arcosian would be drove into his brute form pretty quickly, he would tilt his head lightly and widen his eyes, he was a potential ally in this future battle, they couldn’t lose him. In an instant, Core would take a decision, and he would yell at him. ‘’ You, I don’t know what your name is, but chose your enemy, I am not there to hurt anyone, but this professor cyborg and his friends… I’m pretty sure they are… that’s what’s going on… now come back here, we will need each-other to go through this!’’ The young Arcosian would yell to his species-mate, hoping that it would help the changeling get back to it and help then in this battle was getting closer and closer from exploding, seeing that the professor did called for help.
When the new threat came down the sky, Core though for a second that it might be the way to end all of this pretty quickly, as thee new monster-android-like humanoid came there and said they couldn’t handle every one of them, which was true after all, maybe there was one of them that had common sense and wouldn’t attack them from the front like that, Core would frown a bit and smile. ‘’ Well, at least one of you all have common sense… thank you mister, I was wondering if this would end in an execution after all… it’s good to see not everyone on your side is crazy…’’ The Arcosian would say, looking at them, it was true, they had no chance what so ever to fight this battle right now, they would simply get butchered, and those two android minions they had wouldn’t help, not more than the two other sidekick of the doctor himself.
When the other monstrosity agreed to leave, Core would lower his shoulder lightly, so this was dealt with without any violence? Core couldn’t really believe it, those who looked so crazy and threatened Kay-El as he understood were now leaving, though the presence of Defrosch and him only would make a good enough reason to leave for most earthlings threat.
Core would hear the proposition of his Arcosian comrade and would nod lightly in agreement, there was no way he would leave Kay-El alone before those guys were out and gone, he didn’t wanted anything to happen to his friend. ‘’ Don’t worry, nothing is happening to Kay if I’m still breathing… if that makes sense… because even if I stop breathing… I can still live… but… you know what I mean…’’ Core would say in a rather rushed and amused voice.
While he heard the quick conversation between Defrosch and Kay-El, the Arcosian would look back at Kay-El, she was generating Ki for an attack uh? Core knew it might been a subterfuge but Core didn’t saw any danger for himself or Kay-El for that mean, should any of them, or all of them, attack Kay-El, the Arcosian would be ready to react and stop them, now that he was here, nobody was hurting Kay-El in his presence without leaving with a large pain in the everything… or not leaving at all if he was persistent. '' I got your back you two, change an attack if you will, there would be no interuption... trust me...'' Core would whisper, turning his head to look at then both and winking, he could push back those guys if they decided to attack, or in the worst case, tank their attack head up.

Shivere was on a new planet, surrounded by several other beings who all seemed to at least have some familiarity to one another. Who would have thought that Earth would be home to so many strange creatures. He hadn't been on the surface of Earth for more than half an hour at this point, and already he had met an odd blob-like creature, a hybrid demon child, a human warrior, an android with his toys, and even other Arcosians. Strange indeed.
The green-domed Arcosian floated above the treeline, trying to keep everyone in view, when he felt a deep pit open up in his core. Though he didn't have the ability to sense ki, Shivere still felt as if something was coming... Something powerful. That was the moment Core Stold arrived. Another Arcosian here, and he seemed to be friendly with the demoness. Was he trustworthy or would he cause a fight? Why had he shown himself in true form? Things to contemplate. For now though, it looked like there was going to be conflict, and Shivere needed to make a decision.
As an Arcosian, the decision was simple. He would fight alongside Core and Kay. If he had to fight, he would rather fight alongside another of his species than alongside those strange artificial constructs. Letting himself sink back to the ground, he moved off to the side and landed in front of Core. Looking his fellow Arcosian in they eyes, he spoke in the deepened voice of his brute form.
"I am called Shivere, of the Burr clan. Born on Yardrat, raised on Yardrat, I have arrived on this planet only minutes ago. I will fight with you if I must, but you must promise to explain these events to me when we are through here."
Shivere turned back around to face Breech and his allies. He would need to watch and wait a little longer before he could decide on a battle strategy. But he did begin to focus his mind, bending his ki and stringing it out, readying it to be released as a sharp, accurate beam of energy if he needed it.

So many Arcosians, and not a single one of them did the Bio-Android think he could convince to part with a genetic sample... at least not whilst all the rest of this small army was gathered here he couldn't. As Contagion began to make his departure, Zyajin would begin to do the same, even with the small child beginning to charge an attack and the rest were dropping their weighed armours and clothing. He took careful note of their power levels as he flew away without so much more as a further word to any of those assembled in this location.
Oh what he would have given to catch one of those Arcosians on their own... it seemed that he would be forever denied the chance to collect some DNA samples from Arcosians on Earth with the way they keep clustering together with other races, or their own species. Oh well, maybe another time. At least now he knew that there were quite a few of their species lurking around on Earth... he didn't even want to absorb them, just collect some genetic samples for base line comparison as well as augmenting his own physiological make up. He did despise the fact that he hadn't been created with Arcosian DNA as part of his genetic structure... as useful as it was to learn techniques and adapt quickly thanks to the human genetics, he would have much preferred an Arcosian's durability, especially when it came to survival in a vacuum.

(gosh, I didn't realize it was my turn. Sorry all) It seemed the "heroes" of this bout were readying themselves for a bout of the ages. How silly of them to think they'd get a chance so simply! The Doctor smirked at Defrosch's words, chuckling a bit as he replied. "Very well then. We'll keep things honest. I would absolutely love to forcibly rip the guts from your insides ... But now is not the time for such a thing. I am simply here to protect my friend from your villainous grip." The Doctor began to walk backwards, his Cycloids bunching up together as they too backpedaled. Their Ki Cannons began to charge, before quickly firing off. Two of the Ki shots went directly for Defrosch, whilst the other two went for Core and Shivere respectively. As the attacks sped forwards, the squadron of hulking machines sprinted forwards, attempting to dogpile the toughest warrior: Defrosch. "Let us make haste, Son of Sithis! By my calculations, my Cycloids won't last long against these Arcosians!" With his warning given, the old man shot into the sky, leaving not even a single trace of Ki in his wake. --- [EXIT THREAD] Cycloids are left behind, but feel free to dismantle them as much as you like in your own post Defrosch I'll take Zeni
