[Heavy weight on PL base: 50,641 PL with weight: 12,660
After his training on twenty times Earth’s gravity and his good breakfast mostly composed of tasty fruits found in the ship’s food supplies, which he guessed wasn’t there for display and took a part that he though not to be too much since he didn’t wanted to look like a parasite on Beryl’s back, after all, he wanted to be an ally not someone to train and eat only and then goes into his own adventure, Core wanted to join the galactic patrol at some point, he just wanted to be stronger so he’d be sure to be an help of any sort when shits would go down or when they would need help, he didn’t wanted to be a weight, some sort of person only there to get killed for nothing, but he figured that maybe he was strong enough to take out the enemy’s sidekick surely there was other people like him but evil, which he could take care of while the main battle goes on and he would prevent those guys from interfering with the grown up battling each other, then when he’s done, he could probably give some support. '' Yeah! That would be epic actually, i could totally be of some help!'' He would cheer up to himself happily
Core was so taken by the depth of his mind thinking of how he could be useful that he actually didn’t noticed that Beryl’s aura was closer than before, maybe he was coming back? Core was suddenly smiling a bit, he wanted Beryl to notice the progress of his training, and he had gotten really stronger than before and was excited about telling him, after all, it was part Beryl’s effort after all, he was the one that trained him back at the gravity chamber and he was mostly the one that encouraged him to train in the first place.
After having eaten until he was full, Core would walk outside of the ship and look around, he knew Beryl wasn’t so far but he couldn’t see him, it was rather weird but he kept looking around. [He can’t be that far, I feel him really close… he’s probably like… some place I can see… or already inside the ship?] He would think to himself, a bit confused, he didn’t know where to look really but he really wanted to show his mentor how much he had grown, he also totally forgot that he was wearing his weighted clothes and that Beryl would feel him even weaker than before. Core went back inside the ship, looking for Beryl and probably losing himself in the process but eh, he’d find his way.

Eventually, Core would pinpoint the exact source of Beryl’s ki signature: the gravity simulation chamber. Beryl stood in the middle of the room, garbed in his usual casual clothing; he was visible from the outside thanks to two medium-sized windows placed on opposite sides of the chamber’s entrance. Although the room looked just like it always did, the gravity inside was extremely intense. A panel positioned right outside of the gravity training room’s entrance displayed the current gravity inside. In large, electronic-neon letters, it read: Current Gravity Level – 150x Normal Gravity. Inside the gravity chamber, Beryl was busy striking at a mannequin, one reinforced with tough materials so that it wouldn’t get destroyed with a single punch. The dark-skinned human’s fist strikes were meticulous and calculated, and Core would notice that Beryl was hitting very specific points on the mannequin’s figure. Just what was he doing? A minute or so would pass before Beryl finally stopped training. With a roll of his shoulders, he calmly walked back towards the gravity chamber’s control panel – the unearthly heavy gravity having seemingly no effect on his ability to move. As Beryl typed away at the gravity machine’s external console, he glanced over his shoulder, spotting Core. He motioned for the Arcosian to step inside; by that time, the gravity inside the training room had lowered back to normal, unaltered levels. “Hey, Core,” Beryl said, still clacking away at the control panel’s keyboard. Strings of data streamed across the gravity machine’s display screen. “So, how you’re doing today? You’ve clearly been enjoying what’s been in the fridge lately,” Beryl commented, jabbing at the Arcosian’s eating habits. He half-expected for his entire refrigerator to get cleaned out by the end of the week. “Hopefully, the gravity training we did was beneficial to you. You aren’t hurt or anything, right?” Passing out was a common side-effect of prolonged gravity training; Beryl remembered how he literally flopped to the floor after a harsh training, only to wake up face-down on the floor later in the day. It was then that Beryl spotted the Arcosian’s weighted clothing. It only took a one look over for Beryl to recognize what they were; training weights were extremely popular among fighters. Fighters often used them as training wheels before attempting to train under the effects of heavy gravity and while training weights were noted for encouraging massive, early gains, their effectiveness tapered off as the wearer grew stronger and stronger. “Were you looking for me?”PL - 154,593, Spiritual Insight (x16P) - Active. After walking the entire ship multiple that’s, that’s when Core finally walked back near the gravity chamber, he would tilt his head lightly, apparently, Beryl was training in the room, he would jump and grab the top of the window that was showing the inside, pulling himself up as he looked inside, Beryl was fighting with a mannequin, nothing too far from the expectation of the young Arcosian and nothing really surprising, except the fact that he was always hitting the same spot on the mannequin, which was rather impressively precise, making Core raise his shoulder, there was nothing seemingly impressive on this training.
The second before Core tried to enter the gravity chamber, he would notice the screen which was written in big red letter a number. ‘’ One hundred fifty time Earth’s gravity…’’ Core would read in a scared voice, slowly stepping away from the chamber and looking at Beryl through the window. ‘’ He’s not even breaking a sweat! WHO IS THIS GUYS !’’ He would tell himself in a panic voice before he saw Beryl motioning him to walk in with him, which he would do rather innocently after he saw the number on the computer screen go back to ‘one’’, which would mean he could survive in this room more than five minutes.
When he walked in, his mentor would start to talk to him, Core would smile widely and politely bow to him before talking in a rather shy voice. ‘’ B-beryl… I’m sorry if I eat too much… I was really paying attention to it…and… I brought back a lot of fruits in the fridge too…..’’ He would say rather ashamed, he didn’t expected himself to eat that much, he wasn’t eating that much, he would wave his tail around a bit as he was a bit embarrassed, he would then hear his mentor’s next question and quickly answered. ‘’ Y-yes! I have become so strong! Last time I checked, I have capping at fifty thousand power level in my suppressed form! And… uh… I was hoping we could… have another training session, the previous one was very efficient… and I did one of my one at twenty times so… we could maybe try thirty? The more I train, the fastest I can be a protector to my new home… and… I’d also want to show you my true form, it’s been forever since I never went into it and… well… since it’s my stronger state, I would like to spar with you in that form, show you what my maximum potential is right now’’ He would say in an happy and excited voice, he hoped that his mentor accepted to train him once more, after all, Beryl’s training were the most efficient of them all.

“He really is just a kid,” Beryl thought as Core humbly apologized for his piggish eating. The Galactic Patrol leader held up a hand in a placating manner. “Don’t worry about it. I probably need to go grocery shopping anyway.” Beryl focused on the gravity machine’s computer console until he was able to type in the last few command lines. With the gravity machine now taken care of, he could give Core his full attention. The Arcosian immediately commented about his own rising strength; in his suppressed form, his power was around fifty thousand – an impressive feat indeed. That wasn’t it though. Core had even taken it upon himself to use the gravity simulation chamber for his own personal, solitary training. The Changeling was able to endure up to twenty times normal gravity, so the next step was for him to be able to withstand thirty times normal gravity. Core didn’t want to do it alone though; he actually wanted to spar with Beryl. Not only that, but Core wanted to reveal his true form – the natural and strongest form of all average Arcosians. “Fifty thousand? That’s … I didn’t expect you to progress so quickly,” Beryl admitted. “Then again, you are training under heavy gravity; I almost forgot about how quickly that alone strengthens your mind and body.” Flashbacks of Abzerute’s rapid growth in strength popped up in Beryl’s head. It was as if every time he saw the bronze-colored Arcosian, his strength was even greater than before. Beryl wondered what Abzerute was up to. If he had to take a guess, he’d figure the frost demon was probably off terrorizing some random planet or something of the like. “But, if you want to have another training session with me, I am alright with doing that.” He drummed his fingers against the gravity machine’s console. “And you want to use your True Form at that? … Mmm.” The space police leader pondered for a quick moment. “Alright, you can show me. I’m going to have to initiate the gravity chamber’s energy dampeners though. The last thing I want is for this place to get blown up.” With that said, Beryl wasted no time in typing away at the gravity machine’s console once more. “Are you going to keep those weights on? If you do, I’ll be sure to keep that in mind.” Beryl, at least, assumed that Core would be keeping the weights on; the little Arcosian seemed to be all about maximizing his gains from any sort of training he did. The gravity machine began to whirr to life, and Core would begin to feel the gravity level in the room steadily increase. It would still be a little bit before it finally settled at thirty times normal gravity. “Go ahead and transform while this thing warms up,” Beryl stated, back to the young Changeling.Core Stold

When hearing the rather honest compliment from Beryl, Core would scratch the back of his head, a bit embarrassed, he wasn’t used to hear such honest compliment, only compliment looking like .’ Good job Red, next time, you’ll have to do better’ and things like that, Beryl’s cheering him up was really something that meant a lot to the young Arcosian. ‘’T-thanks you Beryl! I’ll make sure to keep it up and keep impressing you even more!’’ He would way happily as he had a bright smile on his face, that was cheering Core up to train even more and duplicate his power so once day he’ll be as strong as Beryl himself, but that was just a distant dream for the Arcosian for he was sensing Beryl’s full force and would widen his eyes against such an incredible power level, next to his, Beryl and his power level were like the sun against a small asteroid.
When the human mentor of the changeling accepted to do another session of training, Core would jump in excitement, and even more hype was building up inside him as he heard him accepting to see his true form. He would start to doubt of himself, but then he shook his head vigorously, he had to show his mentor that he would not surrender, it’s been years since he used his true form, it was the time to use it, now that he had grown so much, he had to know what true power was within him.
Beryl gave Core the signal, instantly, Core’s aura would surround the young Arcosian and start spreading lightly around as the young male would yell out, releasing as much power as he could, trying to break his limits, he wasn’t sure how to transform, but he was going to find it. After a few yells, his aura started to thicken around him, his power level would slowly rise beyond his suppressed form’s limits, then came the brute form, and at this point, Beryl couldn’t see pass his aura, he could simply hear the Arcosian’s powerful scream as his body was remodeled in his true form. His Bio-armor would shrink, no more shoulder pads, new bio-gems on his shoulder instead of them, his bio-gem were brighter, his power duplicated and then stabilized.
The young Arcosian’s aura would fade away, leaving Beryl the possibility to see his young friend in his newly achieved form, the true form he was born to. The youngling’s eyes would slowly drift and meet those of the human, he would tilt his head, looking slowly over to his fist and tightening it, and then down, he was a bit taller, not by much though. He would take a deep satisfying breath and slowly return to the ground, his feet’s landing slowly on the ground as the gravity would start to affect him, he would smile lightly at Beryl, a friendly and childish smile like his usual ones. ‘’ H-how... how do I look….? Am I too different? I feel… I feel so… powerful… even though I’m wearing heavy clothes in the gravity chamber… it’s been so long since… I’ve been… myself…’’ He would say, both to himself and Beryl, his eyes were showing a huge emotion of surprised and satisfaction, which Beryl couldn’t understand, he wasn’t forced to live under a form which suppressed his true power after all, he didn’t knew the deliverance of finally using your true form.

“!?”Core’s transformation was anything but subtle. As soon as the red-gemed Arcosian got the cue to transform, he widened his stance, focused for a brief moment before letting out a determined yell. At first, nothing happened. From a glance, it almost looked like Core was constipated, and he was trying with all of his might to let one rip. However, Beryl knew better than to think that. A ki aura began to finally swirl about the Changeling’s form. Initially, it was thin, and Beryl was still able to see Core through it. However, as the transformation raged on, the ki aura thickened to the point where Core was completely obscured by it. The actual body transformation wasn’t visible, but Beryl didn’t need to see that to notice the tremendous increase in Core’s power. The whole gravity chamber shook from the Arcosian’s volatile, potent power; the wind picked up, and Beryl brought an arm up to shield his face from the billowing gusts. Core’s power level continued to rise and rise before it finally plateaued once the dramatic transformation was finally complete. Core looked different – his true form similar to the rest of his species. His bio-armor shrunk; his bio gems brightened, and his power was enough to make Beryl lift his eyebrows in surprise. Beryl had only seen an Arcosian’s true form once before: when Abzerute lost his shit and went ballistic on the poor, poor human. Beryl was nearly beaten to death by Abzerute, but the stress of the situation allowed Beryl to unlock a new power deep within him. He just hoped that this encounter wouldn’t be a repeat of the last time he went up against an Arcosian in their true form. “You look … alright?” Beryl answered. He didn’t know how exactly to answer that particular question. “Well, you are an Arcosian. The natural strength you have is really something else and just think – if you keep training, your power will be even greater than what you’re experiencing now. I’ve even heard of Arcosians who discover new forms once they reach new levels of strength – forms that any ordinary Arcosian is unable to use.” The Royal Form was the first thing that came to mind; there had been records of Arcosians achieving the powerful transformation, and its power and appearance was enough to instill fear and terror into the most steely of fighters. Beryl had a feeling that Core would reach that point and possibly even beyond it; the kid’s determination and focus would see to that. “Well, I suppose there’s only one way for you to really test what you’re capable of at full strength,” Beryl said as he began to roll up the sleeves of his long-sleeved, green undershirt. His hands then moved to adjust his yellow beanie. The ki researcher lowered his power to where it nearly matched Core’s. Of course, Beryl was sure to take the Arcosian’s heavy-weighted clothing into account. “I’ll let you make the first move whenever you’re ready.” The increased gravity settled in at this point at a solid times thirty. “Just don’t blow my ship up please.”PL - Suppressed to 127,000. There would be a rather long moment were Core would look at his new, or should I say, old body. He missed the feeling of not having to restrain his powers, even if it probably would feel better without the gravity or those heavy clothes he was wearing, but right now was training time, but he did nodded to himself and made a promise to his inner self. [ Yup, I HAVE to take this for a test drive into space… with nothing to slow me down… ] He would think as he smirked and then shook his head a bit, it wasn’t the reason he was there, and Beryl was waiting for him, which meant the human was really patient since Core seemed to drift away a lot since he achieved this form.
The young Core would laugh innocently at Beryl’s reaction; of course this was most likely the weirdest question he probably got in a while, a clear alien asking him how he look in a form where little changed were made in appearance, but like Core acknowledge, Beryl couldn’t know what that form meant for the changeling, he would then slowly turn to Beryl once he talked about another form, rising his eyebrow in curiosity, well, if he had eyebrows, but there was no other way to describe this move he did. ‘’Another form? Beyond the true form…?’’ He would ask, as much to himself as to Beryl, he would then look at his hand in contemplation. ‘’ You’re telling me there are strongest transformation… I can hardly believe it… but… it’s easier to believe than you lying to me about it, so I’ll take your words for it is… really interesting…’’ He would say, and the young Arcosian would look weird for a long moment, the true is, even next to Beryl and knowing he wasn’t much next to him, he felt really confident right now, which came well when Beryl talked about the training again, which at a certain point, Core had totally forgot about, which wasn’t in his habitudes.
‘’ You’re right, there is only one way…’’ He would say, tightening up his fist a bit as he then slowly drifted his eyes to Beryl and took a battle pose, readying himself for this new spar, this new form of his exciting him even more to take place in this beautiful battle that was about to happen, his first real battle into his form of origin. ‘’ Don’t worry, I am not that far away from last time because of my weights, don’t you worry.’’ He would say rather calmly, which according to his ki-sensing, was totally true, he wasn’t that far from his last spar with Beryl.
The Arcosian closed his eyes, he felt the surrounding air a bit, opening a fight with a rather weak technique couldn’t be all that bad, as long as he wouldn’t use more than weak one everything should be fine. Core opened his eyes back and stared at Beryl, in the blink of normal human eyes, the Arcosian would dash toward, and his fist was in totally surrounded by flames, which as he was doing the motion towards his chest, would create small ignition in the air, provoking some explosion on its way to Beryl’s chest. '' IGNITE PUNCH! '' He would yell out the name of his technique, with some proud that he couldn't hide well enought.
The point of this punch was simply, he expected Beryl to block it like a normal punch, which Core hope would break his guard, and if it did, he would quickly try to chain with a couple of high kicks on his sides, swift yet strong kick which could be efficient on long term damage.

Beryl expected Core’s skepticism about the existence of additional Arcosian forms. It wasn’t exactly commonplace; most Arcosians possessed four forms with none extending beyond the True Form. “I suppose the one way to find out for sure is to monitor your progress. If the forms exist, you’ll reach them so long as you remain dedicated to your training. However, with you near-doubling your strength in just a day, it’s bound to happen.” The long moment of silence between the two made Beryl a little uneasy; he wasn’t particularly sure why Core was giving him such a strange look. The Galactic Patrol leader chalked it up to the kid’s mind wandering, and since Beryl was standing right in front of him, that would be the first thing his eyes would gravitate to. Eventually, Core spoke, claiming that Beryl had nothing to worry about in terms of collateral damage. It was true that the Arcosian’s power was about the same as last time now that he had those extremely heavy weights on, but that didn’t mean that Beryl could slack off. And that much was evident once Core charged him. Even with the weights on his body, Core moved with liquefying speed. One moment, he was stationary. The next, he was already near Beryl, poised and ready to strike. Beryl brought up his fists in reflex, eyes analyzing the Arcosian’s every movement, no matter how small or minute. Red sparked around the Changeling’s fist. At first, Beryl thought it was just ki, but it wasn’t just that. It was actual fire. “Fire?!” He wasn’t sure if Core had some ability of elemental control or if he was just superheating his ki. Whatever it was, Beryl sure as hell didn’t want to get hit by it. The concussive power behind the punch was already enough, but getting roasted on top of that would be overkill. A sharp pivot managed to place Beryl out of the punch’s striking range. Beryl then reached for Core’s wrist, the one attached to his flame-wreathed fist. The fire licked at Beryl’s flesh, causing the human to wince in pain, but that didn’t stop the ki researcher’s attempted counter. If his grab was successful, he’d then try to knuckle punch Core at a very specific point on the Arcosian’s arm, right below the inside of his elbow. The strike would send electrifying pain throughout the limb, not crippling, but enough to temporarily weaken the muscles in the arm. Regardless of whether or not it was successful, Beryl would then attempt to elbow strike Core right in the chest with enough force to send him stumbling backwards. “Just what was that punch?!”Core Stold

Core would nod lightly to Beryl’s remarks, it was true that the only way to find out if those ‘other forms’ were true would be to follow his training closely, and if he ever achieve a new one, look at the data and see if there is something special that happen right before, or a specific number of power level were reach. ‘’ You are right Beryl, good thing I did kept note of my power since I’m on Earth, I do hope you’re right though, that would make me more than able to help you and the Galactic Patrol after all.’’ He would say, wondering a bit what could his next form look like, he was already excited about it, it was something he never though off before, and now that came the idea, it was more and more plausible by the time passed, and he wasn’t sure, but his memories were hinting something his scientist creator were talking about once when they were supposed to be asleep.
Core was proud of his speed, though he was wearing heavy clothes, he still had enough speed to almost surprise Beryl, the key word being almost as he missed his punch and looked next to him only to see Beryl catch his wrist and punch it in a weird manner, very similar to what the Arcosian saw on the mannequin a few moment earlier. Then the pain came, Core would let out a soft growl of pain, it was really precise, and Core understood that it was a special move that Beryl was using, something without using ki that could damage him seriously. The moment of pain Core felt prevented him from dodging, he would receive a powerful blow on the chest and would fly backward, stopping quickly as he shook his head and looked back at Beryl.
[I’ll have to be more careful… Beryl isn’t playing anymore… ]He would think as he rushed back at him, ignoring the pain as he leaped forward and tried a powerful high-kick to the head, a simply move that was meant to send the human to the right. If it worked, the Arcosian would fly quickly to follow him and would chop him on the side with a enough force to crush him in the ground, Core had to fight back after all, he couldn’t just let Beryl lead the spar like this, it was just a spar, but the young Arcosian didn’t wanted to look so weak in front of his human mentor. [ Come on… I’m stronger than that… I can’t let myself be beaten like that!] he would think while his focus was totally into his every move

Pressure point manipulation was an invaluable tool in combat, especially when dealing with species that were known for their durability like Arcosians and Androids. Exploiting Core’s pressure points bought Beryl enough time to get his counter attack through, and after his elbow strike managed to send the Changeling flying, he reassumed his usual neutral fighting stance. He gave his burned hand a quick look-over; it was nothing serious, but Beryl couldn’t help but think about what the damage would’ve been if Core managed to land a direct hit with that superheated punch of his. Core recovered quickly from the counterattack as expected. The Arcosian didn’t charge immediately though; instead, he hung back, no doubt concocting a new plan on how to regain control of the spar. Beryl sat back and watched him; if Core wanted to be the one who determined the pace of combat, he had to abuse Beryl’s weaknesses. Seeing as Beryl couldn’t use ki outside of his body and thus restricted to pure hand-to-hand combat, it would be in Core’s best interest to pressure Beryl with a mix of ranged and melee attacks. “Maybe he’ll figure it out,” Beryl pondered, knees bending as Core charged him once more, throwing a high kick straight for Beryl’s head. The strike connected, tossing Beryl to the right. Spittle flew from the dark-skinned human’s mouth from the force of the blow. The Arcosian’s hand then sank into Beryl’s side, a harsh chop that forced the Galactic Patrol Leader down towards the ground with a groundshaking thud. The increased gravity in the training room made the collision that much harder, but it wasn’t enough to knock Beryl out or cripple him. Beryl didn’t remain on the ground for long. He quickly rolled to the side before popping back up onto his feet, though he consciously kept himself in close range of Core. Fists clenched, Beryl stepped forward and threw an alternating series of jabs aimed at different parts of Core’s body, from the head to the chest to the stomach to the legs. The last punch, however, was a rising uppercut, one with enough power behind it to send Core flying straight up into the air. If it hit, Beryl would follow after Core, leaping into the air before attempting to slam the Arcosian back towards the ground with a double-fisted strike. Core Stold

When the Arcosian’s combo would work and put Beryl down, Core knew it would get serious very soon now that his human mentor had taken a hit, it was almost dead certain. When he got back up, Core was ready to face hell itself coming from his mentor and sparring partner, he expected him to unleash everything he had to him. [ I have to get on point with him in melee, the goal in a spar isn’t to win at all cost, so using only ranged attacks would only be when the fight gets a bit more serious… for now, I have to fight with him where he is the stronger, then it will be my turn to fight on my ground] He would think, waiting for his mentor to counter-attack.
When the counter-attack finally came, Core was ready for most of it. When the barrage of punch came from Beryl, Core would block most of them; those who would hit the most damageable point would be blocked with a lot of skills, though most of them would hit his elbow, which would begin to hurt, especially when the uppercut impacted on them, Core would let out a light growl of pain, he had directly taken at least one fourth of the punches and the others were only blocked, not totally dodged, so they did damage after all.
The arcosian, when feeling the barrage of punch stopped, would quickly gather his ki for a blast, though he would keep his guard up for the element of surprise he could use on Beryl. Quick enough, his attack was ready, he would lower his guard as his eyes would be glowing in a red energy, which Beryl probably would know what it means as Core’s eyes would start throwing a single powerful beam of red-orange plasma that Core would try to aim at Beryl’s chest, which if he would tank it, would make him go backward as well as damaging him surely, but to have a good effect, Core had to maintain the beam on him for a while, and he was hopping that Beryl would have fallen from the surprise attack he tried.

Core was keeping up well, certainly better than last time. The previous gravity training sessions definitely increased the Arcosian’s strength, and it also helped him with his combat literacy; Beryl could tell that the Changeling was analyzing him – doing whatever he could to pinpoint his weaknesses and how to properly exploit them. That alone was what separated the good fighters from the great ones: the ability to think and come up with working plans on the fly. If one plan failed, then it was best to simply think of another one. It sounded simple enough, but in reality, it was a daunting task. Especially when it involved plasma beams being shot at you from point blank range. Noting that his combination attack didn’t exactly worked as planned, Beryl began to think of an alternate means of attack. Now seemed to be the best time for him to test out what he had been learning during his private training sessions. Dark-brown eyes darted all about the Arcosian’s body, looking for an exposed, undefended point to attack. Then, Core’s eyes began to flash red – a signal that something ki –related was about to head Beryl’s way. Hot laser beams darted from the Arcosian’s eyes, and the twin beams slammed right into Beryl’s chest. The human stumbled backwards from the impact, visage grimacing as the lasers’ heat overtook his body. Grunting, Beryl put his guard, now tanking the lasers with his forearms rather than his chest. It still hurt, but it was a lot better than having a hole burned into his chest. Digging in, Beryl suddenly charged forward, pushing back against the persisting eye beams. His forearms served as his shield, and Core would soon find that in a second or two, Beryl was right in front of him. The human’s left hand shot forward, index knuckle extended. He aimed to hit Core in a very specific spot on his head, right above the right eye. If it hit, Core would suddenly feel brief yet electrifying pain circulate through his head, hopefully enough to disconnect his focus. Beryl would then follow up with quick, measured punches, all aimed at various pressure points scattered about the Arcosian’s torso. Core Stold

It was true that Beryl was a lot stronger than Core, it was even true that was more skilled, and even while lowering his power level to his own level, he could still beat him overall, but sometimes, there was things that Core would not understand even when he accepted all those facts and more, and right now, it was one of those times. While Core’s laser beam seemed efficiency to begin with, nothing was preparing Core enough for what he was about to see. Beryl, his mentor human, was blocking and simply walking through his laser-beam. Core was so surprised that the hit Beryl gave him on the head was almost not necessary to stop him from sending his ki-attack, he was so astonished he couldn’t believe his laser-throwing eyes.
The human’s offensive passed easily Core’s defense, which were lowered because he was too occupied thinking about a way to even slow down Beryl more than he already had. Core could beat the pain in his head, it wasn’t too intense for someone as strong as himself, especially in his true form, but take a wave of punches before dashing backward, his eyes wide open as he would let out a couple of pants, he needed to think of something, and he needed to find something effective right now.
Quickly, a plan came to Core, he would think about some specific, but he didn’t had much time, so he had to buy some, talking would help. ‘’ Beryl… is there really ANYTHING that can slow you down efficiently!’’ He would say in a joke ton, that should give him a couple of split second to perfect his plan, or at least he hoped, because he needed to find an efficient way to make a good offensive on the human which seemed totally invulnerable.
Core nodded to himself, his plan was complete, time to try and execute it. Core would dash to the side quickly, throwing a couple of ki-blast while turning around the room really quickly. When he would arrive on Beryl’s back, he would use his after-image to go back at his starting point and would try to punch him behind in the back from behind; hoping the ki-blasts and the after-image would be enough to distract him long enough for his strike to land. If it would work, he would then chain with a powerful punch to the ribs or two, depending on how strong Beryl’s reaction would be.

“There’s plenty that can do that,” Beryl replied nonchalantly to Core’s question, frowning slightly as he found that his pressure point targeting didn’t go exactly as planned. Core managed to deal with the pain well enough – enough to where his eye lasers kept coming. However, the punches that soon followed were enough to beat Core back. There was a moment of pause afterwards, and Beryl took that opportunity to get back into his fighting stance. The lasers from earlier still stung like a bitch, but Beryl was semi-used to pain at this point. He may not have been as naturally durable as an Arcosian; however, his toughness, both physical and mental, was impressive, especially considering that he was nothing but an “ordinary” human. Then, there was movement. Dark-brown eyes followed Core as he dashed towards the side. He circled Beryl, arms turning into blurs as he shot a barrage of ki-blasts the human’s way. Flexing his hands, Beryl proceeded to slap the incoming blasts away with his hands, each slap holding enough power to dissipate the ki blasts on contact. Core was now starting to use ranged attacks – no doubt trying to create an advantage. It was a smart thing to do; Beryl couldn’t attack at range since he was unable to discharge ki from his body. So, if he wanted to do damage to Core, he had to get in close, which was more difficult if Core strove to keep his distance. Blocking the ki blasts took effort, but it was a lot better than tanking them head-on. Eventually though, the blasts stopped coming. “…” Core’s image was off; it looked genuine, but its consistency flickered and shimmered. It was a false image – an afterimage to be exact. Beryl’s eyes widened. “He--?!” Then, a fist crashed into his back, right where his spine was. Beryl buckled backwards, vision flashing black and white as the strike shocked his entire nervous system. The next punch sank into his ribs, stunning Beryl further. He blinked rapidly. Core managed to actually trick him; it had been a while since Beryl had encountered afterimages, and he became a little bit too comfortable with swatting away the Arcosian’s ki blasts to notice the sudden change in the Arcosian’s position. Another punch came for Beryl’s ribs, but Beryl was ready for it. He snapped himself out of his stunned stupor, and a hand snapped towards Core’s wrist, aiming to wrap around it and hold Core in place. In a flash, Beryl spun around, left fist clenched as he aimed a harsh, crushing punch straight for Core’s cheek. It looked like a typical punch, but the power behind it was unreal. Capsule Breaker UP2 83,820 PL. Capsule Breaker, in the simplest terms, is a technique that dramatically increases the concussive power of Beryl's punches. He proposes that if his power is great enough, he can literally launch people into orbit with a single punch. Is that true? It’s probably best if no one finds out for sure. Deals 66% of PL in damage. When Core noticed that his ki-blast were keeping Beryl occupied, he would smirk to himself, his plan was working marvelously, there was nothing that was showing that Beryl was going to do anything to prevent what was going to happen, he couldn’t know Core’s plan after all, it was way too well hidden in his mind, deep inside, he knew he had all his chance to achieve this move, and he hoped it would affect Beryl, show him that he was strong enough, but also smart enough to surprise him even if they fought already, he wanted to show his mentor that he wasn’t the kind only to rely on brute strength to win a fight.
After using his after image and launching forward to punch Beryl’s back, Core would widen his eyes, it had worked perfectly, and even his punch to the ribs worked, he had done something great, but it wasn’t over yet as he felt in his other punch to the ribs that Beryl was ready to counter-attack, instantly, Core’s sense would alert him of a sudden danger, he would quickly ki-sense Beryl’s whole body, there was an unusual concentration of ki in his first, he was going to pull off one of this so strong ki-strike Core knew too well to want to take another without at least trying something to defend himself, he would search for a solution really quick, and he thought about nothing better than meeting strength with strength.
At the rather same time Beryl went to punch his face with his capsule breaker, at technique rather sneaky since his punch looked totally the same but was actually ki-empowered and strong enough for core to remember perfectly how much it hurt and how bad it would be should he tank the punch again. He would charge a powerful punch as well; he felt that this capsule-breaker was stronger than before and he needed to meet the strength of his mentor, so he charged up his Ignite-punch at its second middle form, which used a bit more than half his power level.
‘’ IGNITE PUNCH!’’ He would yell out as his punch, before meeting Beryl’s, would ignite and spread a powerful ignite around it, igniting the hydrogen in the air. Their punch met halfway through, the impact was so great that the whole ship would shake from it and Core would be sent back and crushed on the wall, falling on the ground as he slowly looked up at Beryl and laughed a bit as he tried to stand back up, there was a strange cloud due to the explosion on the chamber, Core waited to see in what position was Beryl. [Please tell me he at least went back a few centimeter…] Core would think to himself, a wide amused smile on his face.
