Aoi Brenchia, the capital of the Branchia Gemini, and home of the blue skinned variant of the race. He often wondered why this one was the selected capital and not the other. It wasn't as if there was anything wrong with its twin or anything. Maybe they had flipped a coin or something. Either way, it didn't really matter. Cipher was here, and he was on a mission. To convince the last leader of the Arcosian Fiefdoms to agree to peaceful negotiations. He had heard that the Brenchians were most notorious for their speed, as well as being loyal civilians and soldiers to the Arcosian Empire. After dealing with the Beppa-seijin, and that criminal slime Gamong, then dealing with the Brenchian leadership should be easy.
As he touched down in the capital city, he could see a small party waiting for him. Cipher was really getting used to this by now. He stepped down the landing ramp, seeing that while many of them had a serious expression on their faces, Cipher wasn't getting any sense of the hostility that others had shown him in the past. As he stepped onto the ground, one of the soldiers approached him. "Welcome," he spoke in a formal matter, "The queen has been expecting you. If you'll follow me please." Cipher blinked, not only because of the rather formal welcome, but because this ruler was a queen. A definite change from the others. With a small nod, Cipher proceeded to follow the soldier, his escort leading him towards the palace (which actually looked like a palace this time). He could see numerous soldiers stationed around the city as they made their way, no doubt to act as security in the event of an attack. In light of the recent attack on Friezaton, Cipher couldn't blame them. Still, everything seemed peaceful enough. However, with his previous experiences, he could only imagine what would happen when he met the monarch of this world.
As he was led into the throne room, his eyes instantly fell othe queen, a slender Brenchian with deep blue skin and wavy green hair, draped luxuriously over throne as she looked over him. As Cipher was led before her, the soldier bowed. "My queen. This is the one who just arrived on our planet." Cipher took a step forward, "Cipher 24 of the Blue Banner Army of Earth." The queen gave a lazy smile as she nodded. "A pleasure to meet you. I am queen Contrate, queen of the Brenchia Gemini." She rose to her feet, her gown flowing behind her, "We've been watching you for some time, Travelling from one planet to another. I must admit, I'm curious as t your business here." It seemed he had become the object of attention here in the Arcosian Fiefdoms. Good, maybe then he can get his point across. "I wish to try and put an end to the hostilities between the fiefdoms. I have been going to each of the fiefdoms' leaders, imploring them to sit down and negotiate a peaceful end to this conflict." The queen eyed him for a moment before nodding. "Very well."
Cipher paused, blinking in confusion. "Very...well?" Contrate chuckled. "I agree to sit down and negotiate. Judging by the fact that each of your stays on the other planets were relatively short, give some indication that you've managed to convince the others to do the same. I see no reason to complicate matters by refusing." Needless to say, this threw Cipher in. Little bit of a loop. He hadn't expected her to agree so easily. This was a very, very welcome change. His mind finally wrapping around what just happened, he smiled and bowed to the Brenchian queen. "I thank you very much for your understanding. I will let you know when the arrangements have been made, as well as where the negotiations will be held." Contrate smiled in return. "I look forward to it. Tell me, will you be staying here long?" Cipher shook his head. "I'm afraid I have much to do. I need to work out just where these negotiations will be held. I will inform you when everything is ready." The queen nodded. "Very well then. When we meet again Cipher 24."
With a grateful smile, Cipher turned and walked out of the throne room. That had gone much more smoothly than he had expected. Now he just had some minor details to work out, and then the really challenge can begin.
