Appearance: The Arcosian true form is fairly humanoid, a sleek supple form that stands out due to the relatively large skull, long tail and three-toed feet; as well as the strange crystalline segments that appear to grow from certain parts of their body (most notably the top of the head). The form seen most often by other races is the 'Suppressed' form, however, which is more diminutive, often with horns and more prominent bony armour, which is widely referred to as Bio-armour. |
| Background: Widely feared for their naturally high power levels and historical dominance over large swathes of the North Galaxy, the Arcosians are the ruling race of the Arcosian Empire, the successor state to the Planetary Trade Organization. They are a highly intelligent, politically-astute, and show an uncanny power that few can withstand. Despite their centuries of dominance in galactic affairs, the Arcosians remain a mysterious species to many outsiders, a testament to their strong familial bonds and shared sentiment of exceptionalism when compared to other races. Though the Arcosian Empire is smaller than the old World Trade, it remains one of the galaxy's most powerful institutions, and their influence is felt in nearly every interstellar civilization. Not all Arcosians pursue Imperial ambitions. Many use their immense battle prowess as mercenaries and pirates, cutting out their own illicit empires in the dark ranges of outer space. Hero or tyrant, valiant or villain, a battle-ready Arcosian is not to be underestimated. |

| Changeling | Arcosians possess the most forms out of any species (lending to them the slang name of Changeling), and start with the most powerful transformation. |
| Natural Power | By learning to control their incredible power in suppressed states, the Arcosian can ascend to new heights faster than others and get more out of training. Arcosians receive a PL bonus in lower forms: Suppressed Form of +20%, of their Brute Form of +10%, and of their Monster Form by +5%. True Form gives no gain. This bonus stops at 150,000 PL and does not effect Zeni gains. |
| Durability | Arcosians are a hardy species, beyond their natural strength they can also take a hit and survive injuries surprisingly well and can live even in the vacuum of space. When activated while receiving an attack, Durability adds a one-time x1 modifier to your defensive PL. |
