Celmaru almost completely forgot about Slither, and seeing him appear reminded him that Walker had such a little friend. Oddly enough, it silently asked for a cup of tea, making Celmaru raise an eyebrow at it. Listening to Walker as he spoke of his origin, about his "Grimoire", what he was made, his intended purpose of creation, etc. As he spoke, Celmaru kept his arms folded, legitimately interested in the tree known as Walker.
"Namekians? I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with the term....what are they, if not what is it? If its a race, I've only ever heard of Human, Saiyan, Arcosian, and the subspecies of Human called Zoanthrope."
Celmaru truly didn't know about the Namekians, or did he ever hear about them. Phae barely even knew about the Arcosians, or the Saiyans to begin with, so she was interested as well.
"But I must say, Walker, you're becoming more and more interesting by the minute. But a Bio-Android though, I've never come across any of those either...and magic? I've only ever seen magic with Ayumu...and you can make your own offspring?....Asexually? Fascinating!"
Celmaru's eyes were lit up like a small child's, as if he found an amazing wonder for the first time. His curiosity was overpowering, and he wanted to know more.
"How many illusions can you make at once? Are they corporeal? What's the best thing you made using your magic? Is Slither one of your offspring?"
Celmaru was beginning to batter Walker with questions, his thirst for knowledge finally seeing the light of day. Phae, meanwhile, was poking Celmaru's chest, trying to get his attention. He only noticed after she began to pound his pectorals.
"Hm?...What is it Phae?"
"There's someone entering the atmosphere."
"The atmosphere....what?"
Celmaru looked around, trying to find the oncoming Ki source....and it seemed oddly familiar. Celmaru finally got a decent read on it.
"......Roughly thirteen thousand....wha-!?"
Celmaru stepped back from shock, completely surprised from who was coming to Earth. In the upper atmosphere, a thin streak of white slashed through the sky, falling at a rapid velocity. It was obvious what the object was; an SSE spacepod, holding an older Saiyan soldier. The power was starting to fade, and began to shrink. Celmaru crouched down to push off the ground.
"Walker, I'll be right back!"
Celmaru, completely forgetting about Walker (temporarily), shot off towards the crashing spacepod, his aura igniting around him to ensure a speedy arrival. As Celmaru shot off, a great, thunderous crash was heard within the forest, scaring away a multitude of birds, and land mammals alike. Several trees fell, snapping in half from the force of impact around the pod. As Celmaru arrived near the crash site, a giant crater surrounded it. Dirt, dust, and many kinds of stones were scattered all around the crash site and the SSE pod. The pod door opened, releasing steam and revealing whoever was inside, but they didn't exit the pod. The figure slumped over, nearly unconscious. He was in his 40s, but still looked in his late 20s, his hair stood completely upright, save for several strands of hair on the back of his head, and at his bangs. His hair was jet black, along with his goatee. His eyes were partially open, but had the Pride of a Saiyan warrior stuffed inside them. The figure wore standard SSE armor, but it had major cracks and overall damage all over it, ruining it. A large gash was cut through his forehead, bleeding slowly. Other cuts, bruises, etc lined his body, worsening his condition at a rapid pace. Celmaru noticed who it was immediately.
"FATHER!!!"

Exhaling, Walker shook his head. "Oh my... you have missed quite a few. There are Namekians, an asexually reproducing people with green skin and antenna, who are able to regenerate. Majins, ancient creatures who are more or less liquid. Demons, Homunculi, numerous aliens races... the list goes on." It would take quite a while to list all the species he had heard or read about, but those were the major ones relevant to this discussion.
"I am glad you find me so intriguing. I've been told I'm rather unusual by numerous people, which I suppose makes sense. Hopefully I can fix that, however." Rubbing Slither's chin with one finger, he leaned on the table. "As you said, I can indeed make my own Children. Slither is the first, although I confess, significantly less concerned with speech. I tend to let them do as they wish." Slither was an odd creature. Not dumb, but seemingly unconcerned by most goings on. They didn't tend to speak at all, and when they did, it was more... pictures, almost.
"As for the Illusions... I cannot make them myself. The room produces them for training, but I cannot make them on command. It's rather complex." Honestly, he wasn't entirely sure how he'd go about that. It seemed far easier to confine to a room, anyway. The Crystals seemed to produce the images, at least that was the assumption. Pausing as Celmaru perked up, Walker felt the power as well. It wasn't particularly notable, at first. Just 13,000, heading quickly to earth in some form of spacepod. Then, the tree compared it to Celmaru's own, and his eyes widened. As the fighter flew off towards the point of impact, Walker stood up.
"Ma'am, if you don't mind, I can give you a lift." Putting out an arm, the large Golem then lifted up, with or without Phae, and sped towards where Celmaru had gone. Touching down next to the pod, he looked at the two, immediately noting a resemblance. "Is he alright? I may not be gifted with the mystical ability to heal, but I can help somewhat if necessary." Kneeling down, Walker examined the Saiyan. SSE armor, battle damage, but nothing that appeared immediately fatal. That was good. The tree was rather curious about some things, but they could wait. Even so, after the conversation with Radasha, he was eager to talk to another Saiyan.
(Sorry, bit short)

Toma "Mato" Waterfield had been in better states of health, that's for sure. Hearing the cries of his youngest child, he merely attempted to move his head towards him, but failed to do so.
"Urgh..."
"Father! Oh dear Kami, what happened to you!?"
".......Mph...."
Celmaru had ignored what Walker was saying once he noticed Toma (Mato)'s ki signature, as he felt that his long lost Father was more important. Loccus, Phae, and Walker appeared moments later, with Walker offering assistance. Lifting his Father out of his pod, Celmaru leaned Toma (Mato) against the inclined crash site, making sure no stones or rubble would get into his wounds. Standing upright, he backed away to give Toma (Mato) some space.
"Do what you can, Walker....I don't know much about healing anyone..."
Phae appeared behind Celmaru, looking past him to look at Mato (Toma). She had a somewhat disgusted look on her face, but it was quickly replaced by a concerned expression.
"Celmaru, is he...?"
"I don't know. He looks terrible though....like someone beat him into the pod."
Mato (Toma) coughed, spitting up a tiny amount of blood. His body barely moved, as any attempt made him feel sore.
"Ce....lm....a...ru...huuACK!"
Celmaru's attention was immediately caught by his murmured letters. Turning to him to make sure he'd get healed before speaking. Celmaru held his hand, hoping that he would stop forcing himself to speak.
"Ce....lia...."
"Father, please stop. You're going to make this worse for yourself."
Mato (Toma)'s breathing was ragged, and he wasn't used to the weaker gravity on Earth. Sweat was pouring down his face. Celmaru was incredibly concerned for his Father's well-being, albeit akin to his concern for his Mother's. Then Celmaru noticed the strain in his armor, it struggling to keep itself around Mato (Toma), as now his strained breathing and his armor had a correlation.
"Get his armor off!"
Celmaru pulled at the armor, its elasticity going against him. The armor was tightening around Mato (Toma), and its elasticity was dissipating. The armor was starting to suffocate him, making his condition worse. Celmaru was prying the armor off of him, pieces of it peeling off of him like an orange's skin. Eventually, the chest piece was torn off, allowing Mato some breathing room. His breathing began to stabilize. Celmaru turned to Phae, asking her if she knew anything about healing.
"I'm sorry, Celmaru. I can't do anything that I used to in this physical form....regardless of that, I can only heal minor wounds, such as scratches."
"Tch!"
Phae felt helpless, due to her inability to help Celmaru in his attempt to support his Father. Celmaru turned back towards Mato, hoping that Loccus or Walker can do anything to help further. Meanwhile, Mato was intent on speaking, despite his odd state.
"S...SE...Tree.....hah....Lady..D-Death....Su...per.....Sa...i..."
He couldn't finish his sentence, as he was close to passing out already. Celmaru kept his hands to his sides, awaiting Walker's analysis on Mato's scattered sentence, presumably a grim one.
"Walker, anything to say about that?"

Moving closer to the Saiyan, Walker waited until Celmaru had gotten his chestplate off. There were numerous bruises, and a few lacerations. For once, Walker was grateful for his creator's intent. A fair degree of medical science had been required to create what they had intended, and while he had consumed only one of the group, a fair bit of that remained. He had no tools, but considering his unique makeup, that shouldn't be a problem. With a cracking noise, he produced another pair of arms once more, the fingers long and slender. Pressing his hands upon the sides of the body, he waited, concentrating on the vibrations as the soldier struggled to speak. Some fluid in the lungs, most likely, leaked in from the purpling bruise on his throat. This would be... complex, at best. Making a mental note to look into that healing pit he had seen mention of, the tree spread his hands around the upper torso, and spoke to Mato telepathically.
"Save your speech, I need to close the internal damage. This will likely not be pleasant. Speak to your son like this." Including Celmaru in the link, Walker's fingers began to split, splintering and curling as they became rather small needle-like protrusions. Moving one to the sides of the chest, Walker found one of the cuts and pressed the fingers against them. The Saiyan gasped for a moment, but it was quickly cut off as Walker placed a hand in his mouth. "I need to drain some of the blood that has leaked into his lungs, and sew up the cuts internally and externally. I have never had to do something quite this fine before, so I ask that your do not disrupt me."
The fine wooden threads crept from his fingers, down the Saiyan's throat. Carefully pressing the two sides of the laceration together, Walker began to sew, a fine wooden line that would decay quickly enough, once the cut was healed. Down below, his finger became a pair of tubes. One ensured that the Saiyan would not choke, and the other began to suck out the pooled blood. It took nearly 3 full minutes, but eventually, Walker removed his hands. The one from the mouth was nearly bitten through, and he winced, hissing slightly as it was exposed to the air. Both were covered in blood, and the SSE soldier was still quite beaten up, but he did not appear to be in danger of asphyxiating on his own gore now. Still, it would take quite a while before he could safely fight.
"It is... rough. However, Saiyans are tough, and I believe I have fixed the main problem. He may not WANT to, given the current levels of pain, but I think he is going to live, at least." Falling to one knee, Walker exhaled slowly, and rubbed his hands along the grass, removing the blood to some extent. "As for your earlier question... I would assume he is talking about the Queen of the Saiyans, who should be fighting Bing as we speak. She is apparently capable of going Super Saiyan, even as an Oozaru. It's.. quite terrifying, honestly. As I understand it, she is currently using the tree of might on the planet Kanassa." He had been partially informed by Bing, and had managed to gather some specifics after news of "A Strange Bio-Growth" had been reported by astronomers.
Looking over, Walker frowned, looking at the Saiyan again. If one of them had come to earth, this badly injured... Either he was a deserter, no longer loyal to the SSE, or there was something else going on. Was he trying to get a warning TO Lady Death about something else?

As Walker began to perform surgery on Mato, Celmaru felt a miniscule touch of Ki link between Celmaru, Mato, and Walker. Celmaru tried to speak to his Father, but his thoughts were intercepted by his Father's.
'THE HELL IS THIS THING DOING TO ME!?'
'Father, I-'
'Well shit, now I'm hearing things....I really am dying.'
'Father, I'm actually speaking to you right now....in your mind, apparently.'
'If this really is my kid, then you wouldn't know how I lost contact with yer Mom.'
'No, sir. I don't know how you lost communications with us.'
'...Shit.'
'Is it that much of a problem?'
A long pause passed before Mato continued speaking mentally to his son.
'...SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE HELL IS SHOVING SHIT DOWN MY THROAT?!'
'That's Walker, sir. He's trying to help you continue living!'
'Why do I taste wood?'
'....If you open your eyes soon, then you'll know why.'
'You make the weirdest friends.'
'I didn't have any friends when you left.'
'I didn't know that!'
'I never told you, that's why.'
'Dumbass.'
'Idiotic old man.'
'Hey! I still look like I'm twenty eight.'
'You're pushing it though.'
'You little bastard.'
'Says the full-blooded Saiyan.'
'....Dammit, you really are talkin' to me in my head, aren't you?'
'Now you admit that?'
'Fuckin'.....anyway, how've you been kid?'
'This isn't exactly time for pleasantries, Father.'
'Fine, fine. Anyway, as I was sputtering earlier; Lady Death is pulling some crazy shit out in space, Celmaru.'
'So I've heard. Walker told me about the Tree of Might.'
'He did? What kind of guy is he?'
'....Someone you may or may not like.'
'What is he?....An Arcosian?'
'No...something else.'
'Anyway, Lady Death went off into pace somewhere with this giant seed thing-'
'The....Seed....of Might?'
'Prolly.'
'And?!'
'A bunch of my pals back in the SSE barracks were saying that Zucceta became the legendary Super Saiyan, and that she can turn into an Oozaru along with it.'
'Super Saiyan?'
'Didn't I tell you that story?'
'I think we were training that day.'
'So much for a good listener....anyway, the Super Saiyan transformation was said to be obtained by the greater members of the Saiyan race, and become ultimately powerful along with it. Gold hair, some eye color change or whatever, and....heh....a massive ego.'
Mato started chuckling in his mind as he finished that explanation. Celmaru barely remembered his Father telling him of the legend, much less the name of it.
'Super Saiyan....I wonder if I can turn Super Saiyan....'
'Doubt it, yer only half Saiyan, kid.'
'I think its Saiyan enough...'
"The day you surpass me is the day that you go Super Saiyan!...HA, haha.'
'...Er...Father...'
'Heh...what?'
'I'll find a scouter once you can stand.'
'The Hell're you sayin' kid?'
'Anyway, how did you turn out like this?'
Mato somehow went with the subject change, forgetting about Celmaru's remark about surpassing him.
'Oh, well, I sort of left the SSE without proper dismissal, and the Elite's beat the shit out of me. Somehow leaving without being discharged is considered treason among certain Elites....buncha suck-ups...'
'They just....beat you up?'
'Dumb reason, huh? But either way I was going to leave after I heard that the Queen was just being a big power hungry bitch and taking the fruit...er...whatever that tree makes, for herself.'
'I don't think your condition applies to "bullying", sir....and really?...You'd leave after hearing the Queen was doing that?'
Between each sentence, they briefly spoke, then answered a previous question.
'Nah, just a few flesh wounds. And yes, I would....I get that we're Saiyans, but you can get that power on yer damn own! I couldn't believe that Lady Death would just cast away her Pride like that!'
'....You look terrible.'
'Says you, I feel fine!'
'You were breathing like you had a toad stuck in your throat!'
'Whaddya talking about?'
'I can't believe I'm your direct offspring.'
'Potapo can.'
'Who?'
'.....Shit.'
'Who's Potapo?'
'Ergh.....let me tell ya when I can speak verbally, awright?'
'I'm holding you to that.'
Celmaru folded his arms as he spoke to his Father, highly suspicious of this "Potapo". Among his thoughts, he turned to Walker, who seemed to finishing up his work. He spoke of how the job was rough, but acceptable, and expressing his thoughts about what Mato had sputtered earlier.
"Father had told me, yes. But a Super Saiyan Oozaru?....What would that be, Super Oozaru?" Celmaru wondered, oddly curious, "I believe I saw the Queen, or someone, in a form like that a few months ago....during the....Saiyan Invasion."
'I remember that....I couldn't go! Fuckin' Elites and their rules or whatever the hell...'
"Er...anyway, Father left the SSE....for some reason, and risked his life to do so, apparently. He heard about what the Queen was doing, and left to Earth, I guess, so now he's here, beaten and bruised. Some Elite Saiyans beat him for trying to leave, and there were supposedly multiples of them...so I guess he could be considered a deserter of the SSE, Walker."
'I can still hear you, ya know.'
'Good.'
"Celmaru, is he going to live?"
"Yeah Phae, he's seems to be fine, at least."
'Who might that be?' Mato interjected mentally, 'Finally have a lady friend?'
'Father....please be mentally quiet.'
'Hah! Never!'
Celmaru began t ignore his Father, turning back to Phae to answer her.
"Father will be fine....but, is there a way we could bandage him in any way?"
Phae began ripping off parts of her leafy appendages, rolling them into strips.
"Phae what are you-!?"
"Making bandages from this form."
"Are those really going to-"
"Yes, they will."
Making a small pile of seaweed gauze, Phae knelt down by Mato, wrapping the strips around some of his minor cuts and lacerations. She made sure that they were properly secured around his body, allowing most of his external bleeding to stop. As she finished, Mato opened his eyes, wincing from the pain.
"I feel like a low class bitch right now...."
Gripping his forehead, once again wincing in pain, Mato immediately noticed Phae, who was still near him after bandaging him. She had a slight look of surprise about her as Mato sat upright.
"....The fuck are you?"
Celmaru sighed, preparing for another explanation about Phae. This one in particular was going to be awkward.

Busying himself with another check-over of the Saiyan, Walker nodded distractedly as Celmaru muttered about the Golden Oozaru. Dusting his hands off, Walker shrugged, adjusting his arms and letting the additional pair sink back in. No real reason to keep them out, after all. As he did, he finally tuned in on the conversation he had been relaying through his head, and mostly ignoring during the business of patching up his new pupil's father. The man should be able to speak now, hopefully. Still, he was curious about the idea of a deserter. It didn't sound like he was the type to just decide he wasn't a fan of war and conquering. Presumably something had offended him, whatever that was. Perhaps it had something to do with the current Queen? There had been a government before the queen, but it had been overthrown by some other female Saiyan, who then was overthrown, in turn, by Zuccetta. Probably. There might have been more steps in there, he wasn't sure. Saiyan Politics had been complicated for as long as he had been awake. After Phae finished bandaging the Saiyan up, Walker released the telepathic link. The first words the soldier uttered were expectedly crude, and the tree sighed, quirking one brow slightly, still somewhat unaware that other people couldn't tell when he did this. A tree made from Ebony wood was rather hard to distinguish features from. Leaning forward, he waved to the Saiyan. "Hello there. I take it you must be Celmaru's Father?" He waved, then leaned back, examining the ship. "I'm afraid your ship is most likely damaged irreparably." Honestly, he had no idea if it was or not, but he was fairly certain you weren't supposed to see so much damage on a hull. Sitting down in front of the space pod, he folded his arms, examining the Saiyan critically for a moment. "Hmm. 13,000 or so. Not bad awful, I suppose, but it's rather interesting that your son has managed to outpace you by well over twice your ability. A point in Mankind's favor, though the balance is still unclear, I'll admit." Shrugging, the tree tapped one finger along his arm for a moment, then smiled. "I'm sorry, I'm being quite impolite. I am Walker." Performing a light bow from his sitting position, the Golem sat back up, resting his hands beneath his chin. "What precisely is your issue with the SSE, if I might ask? I confess, I have been... curious about their motivations of late. Things are not quite so clear-cut at the moment, and it seems to me that lines are being drawn more haphazardly due to the repeated planet drainings and consumption of said spoils." He hadn't been ENTIRELY listening, but he had been paying a slight bit of attention, during the lulls in his work. Ignoring anything irrelevant to his question, such as cursing, the tree suddenly frowned. "Hmmm. Should we perhaps move this to a more comfortable location? I suspect getting your father to a bed would do him some good. The Cathedral, where we were, is not far away." Concentrating, he sent a quick message to Loccus. /Loccus, would you mind terribly flying the Cathedral over here?/ A chuckle came back. /I'm always happy to fly, and you know it, you innocent-acting shrubbery./ In the distance, a shape slowly rose from the ground, large roots retreating to curl about the base. Within a minute, it was overhead, a long root extending down like a staircase, the island floating above them. "The Cathedral Gaea, my ship. It's less than traditional construction for a space-faring vessel, but it serves quite well." Smiling, the tree stepped aboard the root, concentrating. With a twist, it wrapped around the bottom of the pod, letting the vehicle rest in it's embrace, and rose upwards, bearing it up into the island, which obligingly opened for them, the hole leading to an area that greatly resembled a small hanger. The walls were adorned with green crystals, which cast a gentle light, and there was a staircase leading upwards. Woven around were numerous roots, all of them adorned with softly glowing runes in dark purple. Gesturing to the stairs, Walker beckoned the rest of them. "Come on, let's get you to an infirmary. Laying in that pod simply can't be good for you, after all." Offering an arm to the Saiyan, he waved one hand. "I'll answer some more questions, but only once you are no longer laying in a pool of your own blood." The soldier seemed gruff, but he was not about to be rude to Celmaru's father. Well, unless of course it turned out that the man was responsible for the Saiyan's terrible childhood. Then, assuming Celmaru was sufficiently angry, the upper flowerbeds could certainly use some fertilizer. ((If that last line was a bit shocking, good. Walker is GENERALLY quite nice. He is, however, still rather cold-hearted towards certain people, and he was not very happy with the implications of Celmaru's backstory.))

The Saiyan soldier looked at Phae in simple, ignorant curiosity. He wasn't sure how to describe what she was in his mind, but he could see a female within her appearance.
"Father..." Celmaru started, pinching the bridge of his nose, "This is Phae Waterfield.....its a long story, and I'll explain later."
"Waterfield? Why does she have yer last name?"
"Once again, its a long story....anyway, this is Walker....the one that performed surgery on you just recently."
Celmaru gestured towards Walker, who had informed Mato of his ship's condition.
"Pfft. Whatever, that damn thing was older than Celmaru anyway. It was bound to break eventually. But yes I'm the kid's Dad....but I'm still wondering what the hell she is though."
Mato pointed at Phae rudely, making Phae stand up and step back, taken back by his crude speech. Celmaru stepped forward, in front of Phae, and continued speaking to his Father.
"Sir, I can tell you what you want to know later, but for now you should-"
Walker began talking about Mato's power level, and by the end of his statement, Mato became annoyed.
"Are you stupid? This kid can't be stronger than me....just look at him! He's half Saiyan and barely can survive a few levels in a Gravity Chamber!"
"Sir, with all due respect, you might be surprised when I get you a scouter..."
"I got it in the pod there, must've fell off or somethin' on the entry."
Celmaru flew off towards the pod, and immediately found the deep blue scouter. It had a tiny crack in the lens, but it was still fully functional. Leaning out of the pod, and looking towards the group, Celmaru tossed the scouter to his Father, who caught it whilst wincing in a slight pain. He securely placed it on his left ear, clicking the side button to scan. Celmaru landed in front of him as he turned on his scouter, and his eyes went wide from what he saw. His hand lowered from the scouter's button, almost defeated in a way.
"....Twenty two thousand, five hundred and thirty seven..."
Celmaru folded his arms, finally showing his Father his acquired strength.
"Well, I'm wearing weighted clothing currently....let me take those off..."
"You're bluffing kid."
Celmaru was already fidgeting with his shirt, taking it off to Phae's pleasure. She softly blushed whilst he took off his weighted shirt, staring at his pectoral and abdominal muscles, as she did so, Celmaru's power measure rose somewhat. The scouter on Mato's face bleeped again.
"Twenty six thousand...."
Celmaru then sat on the ground, untying his shoelaces. He then removed his black shoes, his power rising further to its maximum.
"Wha-!? Thirty thousand!? What kind of gravity training did you do?"
"None. I trained in the wilderness like you forced me to when I was a kid."
"Bullshit, I call Zenkai on this one!"
"I didn't nearly kill myself, sir."
"You were only at three thousand when I left-"
"Six years ago, I might add."
"So what?!"
"I also have the Potential of a Human being, sir. That might add some positive factors to this."
Mato crushed his scouter in his hand, the smoke rising between his fingers. The broken bits of the scouter fell onto the ground, endangering anyone without footwear. Mato spat on the ground as Walker continued to introduce himself on his own. As Walker questioned Mato initially, he was still irritated about Celmaru's newfound strength, and even kept his eyes on him as he put his weighted clothing back on.
"The SSE isn't what it used to be, I swear Tree-man." Mato began, thinking of ranting, "That new Queen; Lady Death, she's becoming some power-hungry whore, pushing away her Pride to get more power. That cheating Tree of Might is what's the cause of this...but on Kanassa? Crazy bitch must be dumber than she looks, she plants that kind of tree on a planet that's populated by aliens that can see the future?...Dumb broad. She even became a Super Saiyan too, of all things that cheating monarch has to obtain!"
"Sir, we-"
"And that the Elites are being treated like those rich assholes here on Earth too, they're becoming soft while the rest of us get the boot in our asses. The lower class Saiyans are being sent on suicide missions if they aren't on the front lines with Lady Death, as well....so I decided to leave before I was stuck on Vegeta with Parsli-"
"Who's Parsli?"
"None of yer damn business, kid...."
"I feel like I have a right to know..."
"Later! Anyway, Lady Death has been a bitch, and I wasn't waiting around to find change on Vegeta, so I came back here."
Then Walker suggested shifting locations for the time being. As he did so, moments later the giant cathedral lifted out of the sky, surprising Celmaru to say the least.
"What the-?! That was your ship?"
Mato, however wasn't listening, or even paying attention, and was grumbling about something. As the pod was taken away by the Cathedral Gaea, Celmaru stepped back briefly in shock. He couldn't utter a word, as the fact that he once stood in Walker's ship without his knowledge of it earlier still surprised him. As the entrance to the ship opened for them all, Mato exclaimed hurriedly.
"A bed? More like a meal, thank you!"
Mato pressed against his knee as he tried to stand on his own feet. Celmaru tried to help, but Mato slapped his hands away, grumbling about how far he's gone past him. Sighing, Celmaru followed Mato as Phae wrapped herself around Celmaru once again. With his ears turning pink, Celmaru entered the Cathedral Gaea with Mato, Phae, and Walker. Noticing the green light reflect off the crystals in the walls, encased by roots, along with the dull violet light from the runes, Celmaru was captivated by the room. Whilst Phae and Celmaru were distracted by the immediate wonders of the room, Mato was already speaking with Walker about his condition.
"Lying in a spacepod can get uncomfortable, sure, but honestly....its not so bad after you get used to it."
Walker held out a hand for the Saiyan, gesturing to the stairs and claiming that he'd answer more questions once he lied down.
"Like I need answers from a tree..."
Celmaru walked up to Walker as Mato trudged up the stairs himself, still wincing slightly.
"I apologize for my Father's behavior, Walker. Last time I spoke to him....he wasn't this irritable."
"That was six years ago, Celmaru."
"I know Phae, but maybe he's just annoyed after seeing my power become greater than his own....its likely to be a giant stab at his Pride....once again, I apologize for his behavior Walker..."
Celmaru awkwardly scratched his head as he apologized, following his Father up the stairs moments later. Celmaru hoped that a decent rest would make him feel better. He was nervous about Mato's well-being, considering he nearly fell out of his pod after landing on Earth, but he still somewhat confused as to why he was acting like that.
'In due time, I guess...' Celmaru thought.

Shrugging, Walker moved up the stairs ahead of Mato, contemplating his words. That did sound unpleasant, although he privately had to wonder if the Saiyan was just upset that he was still weak, while his queen was improving. It sounded like a child complaining about not getting a second slice of cake or something. It was also possible that he had been marked as a malcontent from the start, and thus was treated poorly. Not certain, but definitely a possibility. It was doubtful the SSE soldier would have considered that, though. He seemed far too focused on himself, to be honest.
"It is fine. He is in an understandably stressful situation. Besides, I have had far more difficult guests in places I abide in. One of them decided to send suicide bombers as a housewarming gift." That had not been a pleasant day. Now that he thought about it, perhaps part of the motivation for creating his ship had come from the attempted building of Avalon. This train of thought led to depressing thoughts about Rei, Kaula, and the mess that had arisen in his absence. Shaking his head to banish the thoughts, the tree lead them into an open area, presumably some form of old barracks. The beds had been cleared out, but there were a few more modern ones assembled within, as well as a stone table surrounded by wooden chairs.
Gesturing to one of the beds, Walker shrugged. "Hopefully this is comfortable. I don't exactly use them myself, so I simply mimicked ones used by those who do." He didn't really have much in the way of food here, though, except for some vegetables. Despite the name of their planet, Saiyans didn't seem to be huge fans of those, in his experience. It would probably be better to find something else. He was half-considering flying all the way to a city and grabbing something, inconvenient as that would be. Then it occurred to him that he still had the food for the Lookout he had brought with him from the city, before he had stopped off here. Moving upstairs, the tree grabbed a few items out of the bags and began to cook. It only took a few minutes, thankfully. By the time he came back down, his hands were laden with two plates, one for Cel and one for Mato. Each of them had a small pile of roasted meats, as well as a heap of potatoes. "Hopefully it is to your tastes." The tree was slightly irritated with the somewhat demanding man, but was keeping his temper in check. It wasn't particularly fair to judge him based on such an odd first impression, after all. Settling down on a chair at the table, he folded his hands beneath his face once more, considering the trio.
"Well, as interested as I am regarding why you came here, I believe your son has more than a few questions for you." Pausing, he thought for a second, then reactivated the telepathic conversation, linking the three of them in a shared "Call" of sorts. "This way, you can talk without speaking around mouthfuls of food. Now, go ahead." Smiling a bit beneath his hands, he simply sat back and listened, considering his next move. This had become quite an interesting day so far, although the end result was still yet to be determined. Keeping one mental ear on the conversation, Walker thought at Loccus. "What is your opinion of all this? The SSE is strong, true, but their methods are suspect. It's a case of the few vs. the many."
There was a pause, and the spirit finally responded. "I cannot say, at the moment. I was the protector of a warrior culture. On one hand, I see no issue with gaining strength, even if it is freely given. I cannot approve of the consumption of planets with this Tree, but simply growing stronger by eating fruit does not seem cowardly to me. I believe this soldier is just whining about his growing weakness." Walker eyed Mato for a second, then sent back an image of himself nodding. "I would agree with that, I think. He seemed quite upset about his son surpassing him, when he has only a mere 13000 Power Level. He could transform into an Oozaru, and he would still be only equal to me, at best. I suspect Celmaru will only continue to surpass him, and that he is aware of this."
Despite his young appearance,if he was Celmaru's father, he must be quite a bit older. Presumably about twice the young hybrid's age. That was usually how families worked in mammals, as he understood it. Celmaru was nearing the age that he might be having children of his own, around now. Actually, that reminded him. Directing the thought at Phae, he mused "So, Phae, are you and Celmaru planning to have children? I confess, I am rather curious about what a Saiyan/Human/Spirit Hybrid would be." He didn't vocalize this aloud, but his thoughts turned to his own intended creations. It had occurred to him multiple times that there was likely a way to hybridize a Bio-Spawn with a more typical biological creature. Perhaps if such a merger was not necessarily possible through normal biology, he might be able to aid the pair.
Creating something intended sheerly for war, like his creators, was rather inane in his eyes. Creating new forms of life, now that would be a fascinating concept. A being made from flesh and plant, part human and part spirit... that might be an accomplishment surpassing even the Cathedral. Even better, it would likely make the pair quite happy. It still hadn't dawned on the tree that Celmaru was more than a little flustered by his new wife.

Celmaru simply stared at Walker as he reminisced about his previous guests.
"....Er....Suicide Bombers? I wouldn't believe that those kinds of things are housewarming gifts, Walker..."
"Maybe they were cute suicide bombers?"
"They can't be cute if they're killing you Phae."
Tearing himself from Phae's naive questions, Celmaru followed Walker into an open area that resembled barracks. Still captivated from the immediate appearance of Walker's ship, Celmaru almost lost sight of his Father, who was already placing his behind on a bed. He still had a disgruntled look on his face. Huffing, he spoke briefly before lying down.
".....I guess its more comfortable than the beds on Vegeta..."
"Please rest there Father, I'm sure you'll feel better after a decent rest."
".....Stop being such a nice kid, Karmaru."
"Er....Huh?"
Mato didn't respond as he began falling asleep, breathing out of his mouth quietly. His body was still rather bruised, and his green gauze was covering a decent portion of his body. Mato only ever used Celmaru's "Saiyan" name when he was annoyed or angered, which confused Celmaru. Sighing, Celmaru turned to Walker, who wasn't there. Looking around, Celmaru wondered where Walker had...well, walked off to.
"Did you see where he went, Phae?"
"Upstairs."
"Any idea why?"
"Feel his energy moving around."
"Hm?"
Closing his eyes to concentrate, Celmaru felt Walker's energy move around above them, two limbs periodically reaching out to grab certain objects. The energy around Walker was potent enough for Celmaru to sense some of his specific actions, not just his overall movement. His eyes still closed, Celmaru spoke aloud.
"Is he-"
"Cooking."
Celmaru was startled somewhat by Phae's voice, as she crept further up his back as he tried to sense Walker. Turning to look back at Phae, Celmaru was startled once again as their noses touched together, making Phae jump in her place as well. Both of them blushed, but Phae couldn't compare to Celmaru....as his face was beet red from the new contact. Looking away faster than Phae could see, Celmaru looked back at the table in front of him, trying to forget what happened. They sat in awkward silence for several minutes until Walker returned with two platters of food.
"Are those potatoes? I love potatoes! Thank you Walker!"
Almost letting drool escape from his mouth, Celmaru obtained the platter as soon as he could, ripping through the meal Walker had provided for him. While he was scarfing down his meal, Phae brought over Mato's meal, waking him up to allow him to consume the meat and spuds. Being lightly shaken awake, Mato mumbled as he tried to sit up.
"Can't I just get....five more minutes, please?"
Then he smelled the food. The foggy look in his eye vanished immediately.
"Meat? Perfect, just what I needed, thanks green thing!"
"Its Phae, Toma."
"Just call me Mato, green thing."
Mato didn't listen to Phae as he stared at the cooked meat before him. As Phae walked away to wrap around Celmaru once more, whom of which was finishing up his meal himself, Mato began scarfing down his own meal, ignoring the potatoes. As they ate, Phae softly sighed, expecting nothing to eat from the two hungry Saiyans. As Celmaru finished up his meal, he grabbed one of each part of the meal he was given; a piece of pork, and a thin slice of potatoes, and handed them to her. Phae hesitated at first, but took the slices anyway, eating them with a content smile on her face. A content smile on Celmaru's face as well, he patted his stomach happily.
"Thank you for the meal, Walker!"
Leaning back in his seat, still simply happy about the meal, Celmaru heard Walker speak of his curiosity over Mato and his sudden appearance. Celmaru felt another slight shift of Ki in his mind, the telepathic link re-connecting. Making sure if he was correct or not, Celmaru spoke a simple sentence in his mind.
'Father?'
'What?'
Celmaru looked back at his Father, who was still eating.
'So, who's Potapo and Parsli?'
'Wasting no time, huh? Well, simply put, Parsli's your other Mother, I guess-'
'WHAT?!'
'And Potapo is your half-sister-'
'WHAT DID YOU SAY!?'
'Calm down, you half-Human dingus. You just have more family, that's all.'
'And you've never told me about them!'
'They were on some other part of the damn universe for fuck's sake!'
'It'd still be nice to know if I had a sister or not!'
'You'd both try and kill each other before the end of the week, trust me.'
'I can't trust you if you withhold information about family from me!'
'Shut up, you're making my mind hurt...'
'Hmph.....anyone else I don't know about?'
'Nope. No more family other than that.'
'What about Mother then? If this Parsli is my "other Mother", then what is my current Mother to you?'
'My current wife. Parsli was a mate, just a Saiyan broad that was used to repopulate....didn't I educate you about this?'
'I was five!'
'So? I was shown my first $%^$$* when I-'
'Thank Kami your mind somehow censored that....'
'It did? Well, I was shown my first-'
'DON'T SAY IT AGAIN!'
'Fine, fine...don't see that problem here.'
'I'm still Human, sir...'
'I still don't see the-'
Celmaru face was flustered, for some reason still thinking about what his Father was about to say.
'Anyway, now let me explain-'
'So who's the green chick?'
Celmaru made a sighing sound in his mind, making sure his Father would hear clearly.
'What? I only asked who she was!'
'Father...she's....the Guardian Spirit of the Waterfield family.'
'Is that why she had yer last name?'
'Not....exactly.'
'Then why does she?...Spit it out, kid!'
'I was...forced to marry her against my will and now I'm in a relationship with her under legal bindings.'
Celmaru thought that rather quickly, hoping that his Father wouldn't comprehend what he uttered in his mind.
'......'
'......'
'............ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID!?'
Celmaru's head was throbbing in pain after he heard that wild scream from his Father, making him wince from the "impact".
'How the hell did you pull that off, huh?! How could you just let her step all over you and let her marry you?!'
'Sir, that isn't the entire story-'
'DO YOU THINK I CARE?!'
'Sir, I-'
'I actually thought you made this happen, like maybe you finally found someone who liked you, but no-YOU JUST HAD TO GET MARRIED AGAINST YOUR WILL! I can't even believe you're a Saiyan anymore!'
'Father, your reaction is worse than Mother's-'
'Oh so she knows!? That makes it SO MUCH BETTER!'
'Sir, if I may interject-'
'Not until you grow some damn balls you damn halfbreed!'
Both of them had furious looks on their faces, each ready to throw punches at each other. Veins appeared on each of their temples, visibly showcasing their frustration over what they've been thinking about to each other. Finally, Celmaru shifted the subject back to Phae, albeit only briefly.
'...Father, learn her fucking name first!'
'What does that have to do with this....this major issue here? A fucking SAIYAN WARRIOR was married against his will by some green bitch!'
'It started out being against my will, but now its....not...that bad....'
'.....What the hell has gotten into you, kid?'
'....A lot of things. Moss, food-'
'I mean figuratively, Karmaru, god!'
'Certain emotions that I've never experienced before in my life because of my race.'
'You never told me about any of that.'
'I didn't want you to be burdened with my problems.'
'Yer Mom would be hitting you right now...playfully of course, although she'd still be angry-'
'I know, but Phae has loved me for what I was, and wanted to protect me and hold me close this entire time...'
'Bah, stop being all mushy about it....you'll prolly just fuck 'er and leave her anyway.'
'Father!'
'Problem? HA, haha!'
'Ergh....'
Meanwhile, Phae was mentally speaking with Walker, placing her hands to her face while blushing fiercely as she spoke, her mind wandering off to another place and time.
'Oh....well, I hope to soon. I want to feel the sweet embrace of Celmaru's body as we finally form one- Oh! I'm thinking too far ahead, aren't I? Well yes, I do hope to bear Celmaru's child soon....although I believe my wishes won't become reality for quite a while...'
Phae turned to Celmaru, who was blushing as well as he spoke to his Father mentally. Facing Walker once again, Phae's face began to return to its normal hue.
'Celmaru is rather....uncomfortable around women, especially those who get close to him. My advances are somewhat lost on him, although he looks so cute when he's embarrassed. From what we told you Walker, his contact with people other than his family is rather limited....which includes any romantic interaction with Earthling females.'
Phae's face became wrought with concern, yet also with a hint of subtle glee; she was Celmaru's first romantic partner, after all. She began fidgeting with her hands, wondering if she had gotten anywhere over the past week, almost ignoring the other mental conversation nearby; despite being unable to hear it.

As the Father and Son argued, Walker's finger tapped against his head faster and faster. He was attempting to focus on Phae's words, and not interfere with what was going on between the family members. It was growing increasingly difficult. Glancing at the pair for a moment, he refocused on Phae. "Given the current topic of discussion, I would say that you are gaining a place in his heart. He is currently defending you to his father." It was rather sweet, actually, even if the responses were grating on his nerves. The old man was becoming increasingly frustrating.
Around the point that Mato began referring to his son as a "Damn Halfbreed", Walker's ire was piqued. Still, he didn't do anything. It was not his argument, even if he was acting as a forum for the two. This was, however, followed up by a comment about "Procreating and leaving." Just for a moment, Walker had an image of Phae's face if that was to occur, or she believed that might happen. It was quite unpleasant. Celmaru's expression of disgust was evident, even without the telepathic connection. His finger stopped tapping against his head, and with a slow, slightly exaggerated movement, Walker stood up.
When you are nearly three meters tall, crossing the room in a handful of strides takes only a second or so, and looks rather casual. What was significantly less casual was the way that Walker proceeded to casually haul Mato out of his bed, and slam him against the wall, sighing mentally for everyone to hear. "I apologize for butting in, but I need to have a word with your father, Celmaru." With a surge of Ki, he lifted up, and flew outside, making his way through the nearby hallway to a convenient balcony. Ensuring the link was still active, he strode over and held the Saiyan above the edge, one massive hand holding him up with no apparent effort.
"I believe we need to have a talk about your relative position at the moment, Mato. You see, you seem to believe you have some sort of authority here, or that people should be listening to your crude and asinine rantings about things that do not concern you." Tilting his head to the side, Walker stared into his eyes. While Mato was able to hear this, he was also currently cut off from broadcasting his thoughts, to prevent his interruption. The tree was not about to put up with this random, arrogant soldier acting as he did.
Celmaru had impressed Walker, and it certainly didn't appear to be his Saiyan genes that were benefiting him. If this was any indication, he had to work past his extremely poor upbringing. His Ki flaring, even without sensing or a scouter, the Saiyan would be able to feel the sheer pressure exerted by Walker's energy. "Now, let us have a little run-down of the facts, shall we?"
"Your son has spent quite a while without you, while you were off ignoring his mother and having other children. Now that you are back, and he is stronger than you, you impose upon him and complain about your own lack of power. This is pathetic enough as it is." Moving him out a bit farther, Walker shrugged and said, in an overly casual tone, "Do you know what happened when your son disagreed with me? He attacked someone who was overwhelmingly more powerful, just to prove his will and determination."
"For reference, I am approximately a hundred times your power level. You could become an Oozaru, and I would still be able to throw you through a mountain. That is the kind of creature your son was brave enough to face. Meanwhile, YOU have the queen of your species growing stronger, and what is your response?"
Glaring at him, he pulled Mato closer, until their eyes were inches away from each other. "You decide to run away, like a... how was it you were describing your child's wife? Ah, yes. "A bitch." I find it awfully interesting that you just now decide to visit earth, after it fought off the Queen and you fell out of favor. Was it perhaps because you have somehow managed to stagnate to such an extent that small children on this planet routinely surpass you?"
This wasn't a lie, either. Chili, Etoru... even the Guru Helix, most likely. Quite literally every child he had encountered was stronger than this man. Dropping the Saiyan on the balcony, Walker moved to the doorway, and turned his head slightly, staring at him. "If you are done harassing someone who, by all indications, appears to be surpassing your own arrogant and miserable existence, feel free to come back inside. If, however, you insist on continuing to be an embarrassment to your species, planet and the concept of a warrior in general, then feel free to make your own way to safety." Folding his arms behind his back, he moved back inside, sitting down at the table, and picking up a cup of tea that had been waiting for him. Taking a sip, he sent a thought Celmaru's way.
"Feel free to continue your discussion, I apologize for interrupting. I feel that a certain amount of courtesy is owed to both a host and one's progeny, especially when they have apparently actively hindered you with their bull-headed ridiculousness." Turning back to Phae, he nodded, and waved one hand. "Anyway, what were we talking about? Ah, yes. I would simply take it slow. You have quite a while, and besides, if this world does get invaded once more, having a young child may not be for the best. I would recommend waiting a bit until the world is less of a warzone." Raising one hand, he pointed a finger upwards. "However, either way, I would be happy to help if necessary. As I understand it, you are essentially formed from Seaweed at the moment, yes? Perhaps a more permanent form would be helpful." It would be tricky, yes, but the idea was quite intriguing.

Celmaru was still mentally speaking with his Father before Walker decided to abduct Mato.
'Father, please, just let her be. She simply wants to be with me!'
'Despite your Human side, you're still part Saiyan, kid. We're bred to fight, eat, and reproduce, get that through your stubborn head!'
'What happened to you? You didn't act like this before you left Earth all those years ago!'
'You're just a catalyst, kid...'
'What do you mean by that, sir?'
'I've had a terrible day. My Pride is in pieces from you outclassing me, a tree-man saved me from Death, and I've been betrayed by my team, my planet, and the empire I've served for decades!'
'.....'
Walker had stood up from his seat, taking a brisk stride over to Mato before picking him up off the bed he sat upon by the throat, and flying out of the room at a rapid pace. Celmaru stood up from his chair, still intent on finding out why his Father was being so irritable. He wasn't able to do so, however if he wasn't there. Celmaru called out to Walker using his voice, rather than his mind.
"Wait, Walker-!"
Celmaru's hand was outstretched, but fruitlessly grasping out at thin air as Walker and Mato had already vanished from the room. Meanwhile, Mato was being put in his place by Walker.
* * *
Mato was being held by the throat above a small balcony. His legs lashed out at nothing as he was held above open air, and his arms were flailing about. Slightly smirking, he mentally thought to Walker, assuming he had a link set up already. His limbs ceased to flail about, preparing to talk to Walker. The tree-man mentioned his attitude and his behavior from earlier, and since he had shown up. He huffed in a short laugh before mentally speaking.
'I'm Celmaru's Dad, tree-man. I don't think you want to hurt me more than I already am.'
His smirk fading as quickly as it came, Mato let Walker "run down the facts" to him. He didn't have a scouter, but Mato felt Walker's energy flare around him...and it wasn't too pleasant in his mind. Staring him down as he spoke, Mato interrupted Walker briefly as he mentioned his other child.
'Hey, Potapo is older than Celmaru, alright? I left Vegeta three years after she was born, but of course you both never gave me chance to explain that, now did you? And I left Earth sixteen years after Celmaru's birth under SSE Orders! I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING AT THE TIME!'
A vein appeared on Mato's left temple as he became increasingly frustrated with Walker's antics. He continued to speak about Mato's lack of power.
'Oh I get it, further crush the old Saiyan warrior's Pride into tiny little shreds!'
Mato's hands were balled into fists, his aura flaring to life with his anger becoming apparent. He simply listened to Walker as he continued, mentioning Celmaru recent attack on Walker himself. Mato's eyes went wide as he heard it.
'That dumbass, he's going to get himself killed at some point, along with that green girl of his!'
Walker continued giving Mato facts about his current situation, about how much stronger he was compared to Mato, and if he even went Oozaru, he'd still be thrown through a mountain. Mato was brought closer to Walker, meeting his eyes as he spoke within his mind.
'Pah, one hundred times my power level, you're bluffing tree-man!'
The seed of doubt had been planted, making Mato lose confidence the more Walker spoke in his mind. But Mato couldn't contain himself when Walker called him a "bitch". His fists sprouted veins, and his aura re invigorated with power once more. Mato grasped Walker's wooden arm, attempting to push it away from his throat as he became enraged....but he was too weak. His confidence and Pride were suffering because of his foolish actions, and he began to realize it. Mato's injuries were throbbing painfully, reminding him of his current weakness.
'YOU TRY BEING A SAIYAN FOR ONCE, FUCKING WORTHLESS WOOD!'
Mato remained silent as his anger faded, and he realized how pointless his argument was. His hand slipping downwards to his side, Mato gave up. Being thrown onto the balcony before him, landing on a tender injury, Mato sat on the balcony, left to think of his actions from the recent past. He thought briefly about his behavior, like a small child would if he was punished, but fell asleep shortly after, being tired from today's events, and from his terrible injuries. He leaned against the railings as he fell into a sleep filled with dreams.
* * *
Celmaru waited impatiently as he awaited Walker's return. Walker returned to the room shortly after he left, but Mato wasn't with him. Celmaru stood up from his chair once again, about to ask where he had placed his irritated Father. His mouth opened, but nothing came out, and Walker simply apologized as he sat back down in his own respective chair, stating that he owed his guests a certain amount of courtesy. Celmaru felt the need to apologize as well.
'Oh, well....don't worry about it Walker. But I once again apologize for my Father's actions, I'm sure he just needs some decent rest...he's been through a rough day today.'
Being left to speak with his Father once again, Celmaru sat down in his chair...attempting to mentally speak with Mato once again. Nothing came back to him, however, which made Celmaru concerned for the well-being of his Father. After attemping a few more times, still nothing came to him. Eventually, several sounds came from Mato's mind; something familiar. A soft humming noise was heard, and a grunting child was crying.
'Daddy....I c-can't get u-up....'
'You can do it....I know you can, come on!'
'Toma? There you are, where is....-'
'Oh Celia, what is it that you-'
'Oh dear Kami! Toma what are you doing to Celmaru!'
'Letting him use the Gravity Chamber for the first time. He needs to-'
'CELMARU! Don't worry, Mommy is coming, dear!'
'Wait, Celia he's fine-'
'HE'S ONLY FIVE TOMA!'
'I was training when I was four!'
The creaks of an old metal door was heard, and more grunts were heard from Celmaru's Mother.
'Mommy?! What are you-'
'Come here, dear, its alright!'
'Mommy I-'
The sounds and noises were cut off by the shifting of the scene; several hours later on the same day, 17 years ago.
'I'm sorry Daddy, I couldn't move in there....'
'Bah, don't worry about it. I was training under ten when I was your age.'
'Really? How dd you survive!?'
'I'm a TRUE Saiyan, Celmaru. Strong, obviously handsome-'
'Sure, Daddy.'
'Don't get any bright ideas, kid. Anyway, I'm a true Saiyan, strong, able to conquer worlds, traveling through space under our great empire!...But of course, that's all behind me now. I have to deal with you now, kid!'
'Wait, Daddy, NO! I'm still ticklish!'
'BWAHAHAHA!'
'Haha, no! HAHAHA!'
The laughter died out, the sounds and noises dissipating. Celmaru pressed his hand to his cheek, leaning against the table with his arm. That was during his early childhood, and it was one of the better memories Celmaru had with his Father. That memory in particular was securely imprinted within his cranium, never likely to leave him. Celmaru looked longingly into the floor, remembering a better time in his life. Meanwhile, Phae was continuing her conversation with Walker, who was sipping his tea as he recalled where he left off.
'Oh, well yes, but.....I just hope that I'm able to make Celmaru happy, that's all. He seemed so depressed before....And, considering the topic of making this world less of a "warzone"....it would certainly take longer than my original plans for my husband would...Anyway, I would love bearing Celmaru's child, but this world is in enough peril from the Saiyan Empire....'
Phae fidgeted slightly, looking at Celmaru whilst blushing softly. She turned back to Walker, still thinking about Celmaru as she continued listening to Walker. He offered to help them in Phae's potential endeavor, and possibly supplying her with a more permanent form.
'Oh, well thank you Walker....but I believe this form is sufficient enough currently. A more permanent form would be nice, but as long as I can be with Celmaru in a physical way, then I'm content with it. Let me consider it, however....and I hope I'll be able to contact you once I take time to think about it, and make my decision."
Phae quietly bowed to Walker, displaying her gratitude towards his kindness. She was happy to find someone that would be willing to help her relationship speed along, but as she looked over to Celmaru once more, she began thinking back. She accidentally expressed a side thought towards Walker as she began thinking back to her past.
'You look so much like him.....'
(Rushed this one out, hopefully it isn't terrible....sorry.)

The tree listened to Phae's musing, slowly swirling his tea. The beverage was one of the few he could process easily, as it was nothing but plant matter and water. It was also quite varied. Trying to consume whole foodstuffs didn't quite work. Meat, he could break down, but the more complex it was, the harder it was to digest. Plants did not generally consume food, after all. Especially not trees. It occurred to him that perhaps equating himself to a plant was not the most appropriate comparison. After all, most plants could not fire beams of energy and fly across the world.
Setting the tea down, he nodded to Phae. "Very well. To be fair, if I was to make you a more humanoid body, it would require quite a bit of work beforehand. I would be able to make a plant-like body easily enough, but I suspect you would merely face your current difficulties again." Folding his hands, he glanced over at Celmaru. The connection was still active, although it seemed Mato had fallen asleep from sheer exhaustion. There was some guilt there, now, about his harsh put-down of Celmaru's father. The man did apparently have some reasoning for what he did, and it seemed there was regret there. Still, Walker was certain that he was still clinging far too much to his pride over common sense.
Ultimately, however, it was up to Celmaru to decide. Whatever the bio-golem's opinion, it was not his family. The half-human would have to face this challenge if he was going to move forward. Looking at Phae for a moment, he closed his eyes. "I think perhaps it might be best to be careful, Phae. I am not.. well versed in what you are going through, but I believe Celmaru might be frightened that he is just a replacement. The first Celmaru Waterfield is gone, and he is here. If you truly love the man sitting beside you, then be wary of him misunderstanding that love as a refusal to let go."
Standing up, the tree stretched slightly, and waved with one hand. The balcony tipped slightly, adjusting Mato's sleeping position so that he moved into waiting vines. The plants bore him through the hallway, and after a moment, placed him in a bed. Opening his eyes once more, Walker turned and considered the pair. "It has been an odd day, all things considered. If you like, you are free to stay here for now, until your father recovers. I am given to understand that Saiyans recover quite quickly." Supposedly they actually got stronger after a beating. It was surprising that they didn't simply beat each other to near death and then heal up on a constant basis, so as to take advantage of that. "As for your training, I am aware you may have... poor memories of the Gravity Chambers of your youth, but you are free to use my training area if you so desire. Loccus can adjust it if need be." Glancing over at the spirit as he materialized partially, the minotaur nodded, clenching a fist. "We'll get you strong enough to drop-kick an island, Young One! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!" Fading, the spirit was still chuckling. Rather unnervingly, in fact. Walker had been strong enough to simply power through the harder challenges the Genius Locci had in mind, but now he had a chance to work Celmaru to hell and back. So many plans...
Rolling his eyes, the tree addressed the pair again. "Well then, is there anything else at the moment? If not, I should probably at least drop the groceries off at the Lookout sometime today. I don't exactly have a fridge here. Having power on a place like this is difficult, unless I want to make a magic fridge." Hmm. Add that to the list. Magical Fridge. Looking back and forth expectantly, the tree waited for a response.
((Sorry, realized that I really had no idea what Walker would be doing now. Sorta wrote myself into a corner with the last one.))

Blinking himself out of short daze, Celmaru lifted his head form his hand, turning to look at Phae and Walker. The hybrid assumed that they had a different kind of conversation all to their own as he was left listening to his Father's dreams. Lowering his forarm to the tabletop, Celmaru leaned back in his chair, awaiting another dream to pass through. As he waited, Phae was wrapping up her conversation with Walker.
'I assure you that I would try to contact you if I was in need of a more humanoid form, Walker. I once again thank you.'
She humbly thanked Walker once again, but noticed Walker looking over at Celmaru. A curious look about her, she turned to look at the young man along with Walker. The hybrid noticed them staring at him, and turned to look towards them both. He simply stared at them both as he spoke aloud to them.
"Er....What is it?"
Phae and Walker turned away from him as he spoke, making him conscious of something he may have said within his words. The warrior's ears turned pink as he looked away again. The seaweed and tree-man, however, continued their conversation as they were previously. Although Phae was rather embarrassed to hear that Walker heard Phae thinking to herself. Her feminine face became red with embarrassment as she replied to the tree's statements.
'Y-You heard that?....Oh...uhh....I told him before that I loved him rather than the Celmaru from all those years ago...but, I do believe its as you say...'
A seed of doubt was placed within Celmaru as soon as Phae mentioned Celmaru Regalia Waterfield, and hasn't been able to forget who she originally thought about since. The hybrid was nowhere close to admitting it, but Phae knew that he was still conscious of it. Celmaru simply sat in his seat as his Father was carried back into the room by vines.
"Wha-!?"
Mato was placed upon the bed, simply left to rest. Celmaru stood up from his seat as he lightly ran over to his resting Father. Standing over the soldier's bed, Celmaru folded his arms, the link still active between them. Looking down upon his resting Father, Celmaru raised his hand towards him, his digits softly glowing with a bright light. Mato's awkward snoring started to fade, his nose becoming useful to him again.
"I'm using up energy on you Father, don't make me regret this..."
Mato shuffled around on the bed's surface, tossing and turning as his body absorbed the energy given to him. Still handing his Father energy, Celmaru heard Walker speaking of the day. Turning his head to face him, the young hybrid listened to Walker as he politely allowed the three of them to stay as Mato recovers. Forming a tiny smile on his lips, Celmaru gave Walker a thumbs up, expressing a tiny amount of his gratitude.
"Thank you, Walker. I truly appreciate what you've done for us."
Looking back at his Father, Celmaru ceased his energy transfers. Leaving Mato with a sufficient supply of energy to go off of until he fully recovered. Turning around to walk back to his respective seat, Walker mentioned Celmaru's previous experience with Gravity Chambers. Sighing, the hybrid replied bluntly.
"Father wouldn't let me become traumatized over intense gravity...so don't worry about me Walker. Either way, a gravity chamber isn't likely to kill me any time soon."
As he tried to reassure Walker about his previous experiences with gravity training, Loccus appeared in his spiritual form, speaking of how strong he intends to make Celmaru. He tugged at his collar when the spirit spoke of Celmaru drop-kicking an island.
"W-Well, I don't think I'd be able to achieve that strength for a long while...."
He was clearly nervous about Loccus' possible plans for him, and it was written all over his face as Loccus slowly faded into nothing. Adjusting his gaze towards Walker once more, he had asked if there was anything left to address. His facial expression etched with though, Celmaru raised his hand to his chin, wondering if there truly was anything left to discuss or see for the day. Suddenly, an epiphany, Celmaru wanted to get to something more active today, and training was a large portion of his day now. Walker said that he would train the young hybrid, and he wanted to see what he'd be dealing with later on. A spark of interest in his eye, Celmaru suggested an idea to Walker.
"How about doing a quick test run? Sort of what I'm expected to face once I start officially training with you...perhaps?"
Phae became cautious of Celmaru's idea, actively thinking over her husband's well-being, she couldn't stand for him to get hurt. Floating over to Celmaru, she protectively wrapped her arms around his neck once more, hitched to his back like she was before. Phae rested her chin on the young man's shoulder, nuzzling against her husband's jawline. Noticing something different, she pointed it out to him.
"Someone is getting fuzzy~"
"Hm? Oh, facial hair, yeah...I guess that's coming back, isn't it?"
Celmaru scratched his opposite cheek, feeling the tiny hairs poke at his fingers. He rarely ever got facial hair, but when it did sprout up on his face, it never lasted long due to his lifestyle. The Saiyan genetics within him also stunted the growth of any hair upon his cheeks. Phae continued to nuzzle against him as he awaited a response from Walker, hoping for a quick spar or two.

Bowing, the tree smiled, the expression as impossible to see as ever. "Thank you. I am glad to be of assistance. While I am not exactly a master myself, I have learned quite a few things. It would be a pleasure to teach you, though you must be careful not to follow me too closely. Parts of my fighting style depend on my limbs being longer than my opponent's, due to my size." Demonstrating with his arm, he punched out once or twice, then extended the limb, comparing it to Celmaru's own. "You see? I can make some risky blows that would be sheer folly for you."
Glancing at Mato for a moment, the tree turned back as Celmaru inquired about a possible Spar. It would be fun, certainly, but... "I think perhaps not today. It's been quite stressful, and I do not quite have enough of a handle on my sudden evolution to suppress it in battle. If I went to full power, I might accidentally kill you." It was a chaotic change, and it was taking quite a bit for Walker to damp it back down into his soul.
Gesturing in the direction Loccus had been, he smiled. "You may feel free to train with Loccus, although he will not put you through my regime just yet. I do believe he is eager to try out some of his more complex attempts for lower power levels, however." The spirit could be heard in the back of his mind, chuckling to himself. "... and then, I'll take away his ability to fly and start forcing him to dodge rocks speeding toward him from all directions while he fights a Dinosaur with a sword!" ...That was... definitely a challenge. It only just occurred to him, Loccus had a few thousand years to think up insane training methods, and now he could act them out.
Oh well. The spirit wouldn't hurt Celmaru anyway. "As it is, I think you could benefit from some rest. I suspect Phae would like some time alone with you in any case. Mato is free to do as he wishes, once he awakes. I confess, I'm not entirely certain I am capable of trying to feed a hungry Saiyan for some indefinite period, so if he has another residence, that might be best." The dishes on the table were quite empty, and that had been the equivalent of a full-course meal. That reminded him...
"Well, I will see you later. I have some supplies that have been sitting about for quite a while." Waving, Walker flew off, headed toward the Lookout to deliver the groceries. Thankfully, none of it was especially perishable. As his energy signature faded, Slither watched over the floating island, as Loccus prepared a lunatic level training regime for Celmaru, and a tomato slept in a bed, oblivious to the world. It had been an interesting day, all things considered. Chuckling to himself, the tree sent a final telepathic message to Phae. "I suspect Celmaru could use a hug. And a shave." He did actually have razors there. Growing twigs every few days was annoying, and required him to shave it off.

Walker - 135,833 + 14004 [!!] = 149,837 PL
Celmaru - 30,050 + 23038 [!!!] = 53,088 PL
