[Using house]
Simply looking upon this magical creation of untold values... This old man stood before what seemed like a extremely thick flower stalk with petals that softly glowed but covered the nearby desert in a sudden change of element, creating ice in a thick layer. Softly blowing it outwards, while the top of the stalk constantly kept firing small bouncing projectiles of ice towards the human old man that was dodging side by side with the ice causing him to slip at certain points, everything was so bizarre to him as if he was looking at a creature straight from a video game before simply grasping the corners of his head and speaking softly.
"Hana, You said you saw three triangles on its base and that we only were able to make two glow, do you even know what this means?!"
While she simply turned around, happily hopping on a shell that bounced towards the stalk and back while a constant jingle played as she jumped up and down onto it. Unable to comprehend exactly where this jingle came from she was simply performing a rather simple dance while placing her feet down everytime it got back.
"I am unable to really answer that question but have you tried hopping on this shell? I somehow feel like i am getting younger with every hop, as if my life has been extended with every hop! This simply feels amazing plus it is amazing to constantly hear that jingle after having all this happen... Seriously, what is going on here?"
Taking another look at this plant with the frosty top of the part as it then slowly started to stop firing, realizing the lack of a threat these guys were and looking towards the sun with its crystal clear inside and the softly shimmering blue petals infused with a thick sense of a energy seperated from ki. The colour of the stalk seemed to possess a faint hue of green but the blue was overpowering, showing its lack of requiring to photosynthesis. Just what had they stumbled upon even the mightiest gods would have a confused reaction over as Hana and Ayumu simply started to discuss possible things this could mean before taking notes in a large book about biology. Having learned about the many herbs and plants of this world he was always amazed when he found something new but mostly he could use a few experiments to find out what it was. Yet what was before him now was rather more convoluted, a large flower mass that was seemingly reacting to his presence and keeping up a gaurd while imbedded with some sort of signalling system while a simple turtle zoan was gaurding the base and now being bounced back and forwards between the tree, he even vanished in a large collection of stars when he was struck first before after a while he reappeared from the shell, standing there as if nothing happened. This was simply mind boggling and such an interesting expierience!

Next time I decide to go looking for a Xenobiotic Angiosperm in the middle of the desert, I'm bringing a lot more water! Katsu sighed in frustration as he trudged through the desert going on his fifth day in a row. He had been looking through the various data he had managed to recollect from his Team's “Project Brawn Over Brawn” endeavor, and he had found a scrap of data detailing a possible ingredient for their finished Serum. Some extra research into the said ingredient revealed it to be a certain kind of flowering plant that was only found in Fortuneteller's Desert, an invasive species that had been transported to Earth via some ancient spaceship crash. The spaceship itself had long been completely eroded by the natural processes, but the ship's cargo had outlasted its container and had flourished in the environment, adapting and changing wildly. Such an adaptable plant might very well contain a key to unlocking the serum Katsu had been working to recreate!
So with that kind of information in mind Katsu had set off to the Desert, bringing enough supplies to last him quite a while. Yet Katsu had largely underestimated the difficulty of finding a plant in the middle of a huge desert, and today was the day the last of his water rations was going to run out on him and he'd need to head back to civilization. If Katsu didn't find what he was looking for today he was going to have to accept failure, which would certainly not bode well for his future research into the Serum.
Grumbling under his breath Katsu continued to trump along, soon coming across not what he had been looking for, but something nearly as good! People! And Plantlife! And...ice?! Ice in a Desert. Oh that was certainly something worthy of a bit of investigation, everything else aside. Picking up the pace Katsu began to sprint across the sands, soon reaching the blue coated landscape, setting his bag of supplies down besides him as he stared at the ice, and the two people on it. Raising a hand in greeting Katsu gave his normal welcome to strangers, “Yo! Well this is not what I expected in a desert at all. A real live Strictiflora Borealis this far South? Amazing! And such vigor, I've never come across one that could soak in so much heat at once. Is this plant yours? It's an absolute beauty!”
By Katsu's tone of voice and the smile on his face, it would be clear that Katsu was excited by the flower, perhaps even more so than Ayumu or Hana were. Katsu would approach the flower, wary of it, the troglodyte-like turtle zoan, and Ayumu and Hana themselves. It was rare that one found such a beautiful flower like this, let alone in this environment, but it wasn't what Katsu had been looking for in this desert, and he didn't want to die before he could at least finish the Serum his team had been working on, to pay his respects for Genius lost...

While you had brought yourself closer to the two, the flower would start to aim itself towards you untill a simple ray of light were to interrupt any reactions that could have been given, starting to unfold large roots near the base, a small gap became visible, a green tube made entirely out of plant fibres were visible as from within a small thick nosed green sphere with two feet and small eyes to the sides of its massive nose popped up and brought itself to wander into the area, constantly letting out a soft "Nyeh" before falling down on its bum and sitting there, taking in the sun. Yet what has brought more interest was this new way down while the female started to make her way over to it as the shell dissipated in small particles of glitter, peeking downwards while Ayumu brought himself towards you.
"Hey, Is that what this is called? It seemed to be able to fire projectiles of ice towards us unlike other versions of this one that died within mere moments a far distance away from here, have you ever seen this plan before in this desert?"
Honestly wondering how big his plant knowledge was before simply shaking his head and knowing what hana was planning, realizing the triangles that were visible and simply nodding his head softly and grinning slowly.
"I think we may have found a path towards a underground area filled with new plant life, somebody who shares the mindset of mine, to investigate, put everything on paper and find out every little new detail that is found... Would you be willing to investigate down there with us? Somebody with your knowledge could be mighty usefull as i have only learned how to use these flowers with their toxins for recipes and some cooking in my stall back there!"
Simply pointing his hand back to the large stall with the large variety of herbal scents and ingredients, before taking out a gourd of water and offering you a gulp before turning his gaze back towards the pipe and then nodding softly.
"If you are willing to go down there with us, please be carefull as i will be trying to take some monsters of every little sample, we have to learn how to put these things in recipes! I have not found such interesting enviroments since i found a herbal ingredient capable of revitalizing humans with energy and at points even letting them regenerate a limb, it was simply divine for this use that was found!"
Showing a expression of glee on this old man his face, you saw him quickly move over to the small woman and pulling her backwards, making certain she would not come in contact with the tube just yet, untill things would have found them discussed in the front of their stall. Constantly keeping a eye out in the case that anything would find itself in the clutches of the enemy they had to be rather carefull...

Katsu would grin wide as Ayumu would essentially invite him to go on an adventure in a subterranean adventure filled with fibrous dangers and flowery doom! Yet of course there was the first order of business to handle before anything else. That was, of course, that Katsu had just noticed that the man who was talking to him had absolutely no Ki signature at all. Of course, Androids gave the same reading, so a quick press of a tiny button on a device attached to Katsu's right ear, something that looked like a Bluetooth, and a little holographic display would appear just in front of his eyes, visible to Ayumu and Hana if they looked closely. Data would tick off, but try as Katsu might try to force the device, it refused to lock on to Ayumu's energy, instead locking onto Hana instead, or the flower, or even some micro-organisms present in the frozen sands. Of course it wasn't something that horrified Katsu like it might some others, but instead got him even more excited. “Whoa. Today is really my lucky day! Such wonderful things I'm running into today. You've got less apparent Ki than a dead dog, sir, are you aware? You shouldn't be alive like that. So how's that working. No wait, let me guess...” Smiling at the situation Katsu would adopt a thinking pose, looking the situation over eagerly. A small moment of silence before he would snap his fingers, a small burst of harmless Ki escaping from his body and spreading in all directions. Katsu would watch and wait as his Ki burst would naturally disperse, carefully noticing any changes from what he had expected. After his Ki burst was gone he gave a quick nod, apparently having expected what he had seen, and he took a couple deep breaths, taking the scents of the air in. This process took a bit longer than before, but eventually Katsu gave a little, “Aha!” and leveled a finger at Hana. “Parass.sss...Sssssymbiote! Plant based. Exotic. Very exotic. Human have recorded every scrap of data we've come across for the past 2,000 years and there's nothing like you in any record I've managed to come across. Probably not from North Galaxy at all. Modus Operandi... Arcanus.
“Like a parasite you change your host to suit your needs, but unlike a parasite once the change is complete you sustain the host as it sustains you. Removal equals death or at least severe trauma once the change is complete. Interesting. Tell me, do you keep the plants around to help disguise the fact that your scent isn't quite human, or is it just fascination with the knowledge you can gain? The nose knows that the chemicals both of you excrete due to cellular respiration is certainly not human, and the way you react to Ki... it was like a burst of sunshine for you just before, wasn't it?” Katsu seemed almost giddy at this point. Katsu eventually did remember that he knew about things like manners, and being polite to people, and at that point he got around to answering Ayumu's question, “Oh, right. Strictiflora Borealis. My apologies. Uhm.. Right! This one is indeed unique from other examples I've come across. Most of what I found were located much farther North, at the edges of Tundra's and Polar Deserts, hence the name Borealis. They're capable of soaking up limited amounts of heat in order to fuel their homeostasis, and they can live almost completely on CO2, sunshine, and heat. They're actually an originally artificial lifeform created by humans long ago to help combat Climate Change. The idea was to set down a number of these in sub-polar regions to have them suck up Greenhouse Gases and deliberately lower ambient temperatures around them. Still though, this one is so much more... powerful than any on record. None of them were capable of handling the environment of a tropical desert like this one obviously is. If they had created this instead of the weaker variety it could very well have plunged the whole world into a new Ice Age!
“Oh, I love evolution!” Katsu would slowly approach the Ice Flower, kneeling down to observe it closer, any projectiles fired at him by the flower being easily flung away as if by an invisible hand swatting them out of the air. Looking at the basin of the plant, noting its various differences from the more mundane variety. [Word Count: 752] Technique Used: Technique Name: Bio-Engineering Expert Type & Tier: [SU] Class: Mental Requirements: --- Description: Katsu is a Bio-Engineer, meaning he has a broad knowledge of all things Organic to the point that he can design and create his own organic creatures. Due to this knowledge Katsu can identify most known species by their characteristics, give accurate diagnosis of various medical ailments, and provide expert level triage for just about anything that lives. Katsu can even identify the constituent donor species for Bio-Androids at a glance. This technique has little combat application beyond simply knowing one's foe, and is more a justification of Katsu's Roleplay.

Noting that he was attempting to guess what was going on, he could simply smirk and await his answer. The bodily stance of Ayumu straightening while simply listening towards him, patting Hana softly while starting to slowly take a gaze around in the vacinity, for any people that would approuch, taking note of a few wolves wandering through the desert at rapid speeds. Seeking out prey and wandering to devour, he would turn his eyes towards you and simply let out a yawn before hearing your words finally, Hana this time raising herself onto ayumu's shoulders and standing up, causing a wobbly tower of... You dont even know what to call it. It seems rather stupid in the least.
"A symbiotic relationship may be correct, but if you called me a parasite i would have hit you rather hard! I tend to ask y'know?, If they can talk or react back... Mostly when i infect their bodies they develop a sentience anyway so what ever!"
Yet when you had made the point of nothing being in human history, she shook her head and pointed towards you. This time offering you a solid pointer backwards while speaking rather bluntly.
"Then you have only searched in the obvious reigns! Even myths and legends have use to a person, with my old ability to consume life and planetary constelattions, only one name should be coming up within the books. I think a rather easily recognized one that you should be able to find is Ammutseba!"
Slowly turning her hand around as her arm had turned into a fleshy sustenance, it was obviously a plant like moss, yet from the appearance it was entirely flesh, eyes and fangs sticking out of each other before gathering back into a single form that was her humanoid shape while she then started to look down at the ground. Interested by how he managed to trace all this so quickly before simply shaking her head and wanting to strike him over the head.
"I am a rapidly developing plant monstrosity, i am known for consuming parts of other people and am a faulty product, even if you were to note down that i were to smell like lemons today, i would smell like apples within a few days or even a few hours. Imagine a home grown plant that has gone completely out of controll and is now growing over a multitude of years in rapid progression. But that is the curse i have been burdened on, as i have been turned into this plant like creature by a simple cu-"
Yet as she was speaking about this, Ayumu simply spoke up suddenly and grasped her shoulders. Dedication in his eyes as he was certain he would not let too much slip, towards this other person, yet from the appearance of these words, you noticed that it wasn't a facial expression on hana as if she had slipped some information. This was a facial expression of somebody who knew that she nearly caused a catastrophe before Ayumu spoke to you.
"STOP!, Okay... Listen, there are reasons of hana being unable to say what the past involves, but if she does, she may not the only who is on this planet. We do not require other creatures with her original strenght to head towards our star system do we? For your other answers, unless you know about the knowledge told, we live under a faint veil if you can call it like that, we smell human yet we dont really as humans also dont really smell human. But i must tell you sadly, i do not feel like things are like sunshine, i still feel like a perfectly normal humanoid. Yet my growth is alot faster than a normal human, almost as if i dont have a limitor anymore."
Although what brought his attention towards your words were the explanation of the plant before us while simply touching the stalk softly, Ayumu showed some appreciation and spoke happily. Having a tone of appreciation for it yet also a tone of content upon being able to talk to you rather happily and honestly.
"This plant had sprouted four hours ago, we have taken note as it grew to this size within a mere couple hours and are afraid it will wilt and die rather soon, so if you wish to go down, please, go down the tube and we may find more, as we can speak down there too probably!"

Listening quietly as Hana explained herself Katsu noted the urgent shushing of Ayumu as soon as she went a little too far in her explanation. Katsu was a smart guy though, and he could easily infer that the last word she had been wanting to say was “curse”. Katsu just waved the whole situation off though, literally waving a hand in front of his face as if to say forget about it. “No. I get it. Sounds like something I'm not equipped to handle right now anyway. I'm not going to pry if you think it's dangerous. As to that name. Never heard of it. I don't have much knowledge outside of pure biology at the moment. Arcane knowledge and things having to do with Magic are not my domain. So let's just pretend we didn't have that little back and forth just now and focus on a mystery we can deal with.”
Yes, Katsu did have some manners after all, so he was more than willing to drop the whole conversation dealing with something that both Hana and Ayumu didn't want to let out. Approaching the little flower even closer Katsu nodded to himself for a bit before making a cutting motion with his left hand, his right hand pulling out a small Hoi Poi Capsule. With his cutting motion the lowest part of the Ice Flower's stem would be severed in an instant, and Katsu quickly opened the capsule to reveal a glass container with a bunch of electronics attached to its bottom. Opening the container Katsu stuck the now flailing Ice Flower into it and quickly shut the door. In moments the Ice Flower stopped flailing, the little eyes and nose on its bottom section apparently having gone to sleep. Pressing a button on the container it reformed into the small capsule, which Katsu pocketed with a smile.
“There. I can take this guy home and study him safely there. With luck I can keep him from wilting and put him in a better environment after I'm done getting some tissue samples. I could use him to create a cold sotrage room at the least.
“Now. On to further adventure! Lady's first, especially when they're stronger than me.” Katsu laughed a bit as he waved Hana forward, offering her a hand down if she wanted it to enter into the opening that the Ice Flower had revealed with its absence.

Happy knowing that this old man had been understood, he simply smiled and nodded softly, happy to know that the conversational partner he had brought upon himself today had understood his intentions and would not dig deeper, yet with his lack of knowledge on the arcane side of things, it gave him a slight shock, no, a massive one. As he had been understanding plants for their magical properties and their effective use during the stress moments of taking in the energy from the surroundings. It was a rather simple experimental treatment considering the plants their entirely changed nature upon interacting with elements outside of their spectrums before simply thanking you audibly, Hana following suit and trying to perform a bow and thanking you too, with a kind tone to her voice that was filled with pained emotions, as she held back her attitude before smirking widely.
"Interesting method of keeping something sealed~"
Hana spoke, in a rather blunt manner of speaking while looking towards the capsule before whistling softly, starting to gather a few bundles of tangible string that dissipated upon falling away before tossing you a small clump of a blue rock, a strange energy radiating from it as she simply smiled towards you.
"If that thing starts to gain a brown colour near its leaves, put that in the capsule and it will survive an extra week before it wilts again, call it a small gift from us, so we can call upon a favour sometimes in the future y'know?"
Slowly getting out of the grasp of Ayumu once again, she simply placed her hands upon the large green shaft that stuck in the ground before jumping down in with, Causing Ayumu to look panicked at first before running over and jumping in too, giving you a hand wave to join in, while far on the bottom. Far, Far on the bottom a large set of beautifull green flowers, unknown to our human nature would be able to bounce us to a soft stand still before the pipe above us would close, it was a truely massive set of pillow like plants that strangely enough had lifted themselves up in the air lighting with each bounce, showing their definite lack of roots.
Down the one way corridor, you could notice a strange set of floating boxes and some small brown mushroom like living creatures walking around, exactly in what kind of hell have we stumbled ourselves in and what has been happening in this hole of danger itself? Hana and Ayumu awaiting you and simply looking around, not trusting this situation but well, Ayumu had nothing he could say about it as Hana truely loved a adventure and would never fall back to perform in any adventure that was possible! Ayumu taking out a small capsule that he had previously stored his capsule in while hopping down, making it appear down here to atleast grant us a way to defend ourselves from the creatures if we had to run inside!
For a short moment when the landing had happened, a few of these brown mushroom creatures had faced themselves with the arrival of these people, they started to show small veins popping up lightly before evolving at a rapid pace, their happy mouths turning into fanged abominations while rushing towards us, going to lunge at our ankles, oh god! Ankle biters!

[OOC: Sorry for the delay, RL reared it's head there for a bit]
Katsu would take the offered device from Hana but would quickly pocket instead. “Don't worry about the flower. Capsule's are pretty standard nowadays, but the nature of their storage capability keeps living things from being stored. I have to put it in stasis for it to store at all, so it's effectively dead right now. Funny thing about organic creatures though, if you don't let the 'death signal' propagate in a system, you can bring it right back from the dead no problem. I'll just hit it with a special cocktail I've got at home and it'll be back on its roots in a moment.” Katsu grinned as he spoke of the wonders of modern science. Perhaps raising the dead was one of the hardest things to do as a mage or priest, but it was just another thing accomplished with science!
After that it was down the rabbit hole they went! Katsu himself couldn't fly, exactly, at least not in the manner of most Ki Sensitives in the world could, but he had no fear of heights thanks to his telekinetic powers. In a pinch he could just grab at the air to safely halt his fall. Of course it seemed almost unnecessary with the strange plant, but Katsu still played it safe, slowing his descent and coming to a full stop a few feet above the surface of the floating plants by standing on a solidified platform of air. Katsu was more than a little shocked by their surroundings, mostly because of the creatures in it! “Wow. I know all of these plants, or at least something like them.
“Yeah... I'm pretty sure these are all old old plants originally created by humans then set loose to work how they will... but a lot of these plants aren't supposed to grow in the same environment, and these plants are all... different. I think someone's made this place on purpose. I mean jus... whoa!”
Katsu leapt to one side as the mushroom looking things that crawled on the ground suddenly jumped into the air, great vicious fangs sprouting out of its too humanoid mouth to try and take a bite out of Katsu's leg! Cursing under his breath Katsu slammed his foot down on the creature's head from above with all of his strength, sending the creature crashing back to the ground, squished flat as a pancake like someone had run it over with a steamroller. That, wasn't supposed to happen normally. “Okay I think I'm gonna give up trying to rationalize this place using just biology, this place is too weird. What do you two think, is this something to do with Magic?” Katsu would turn to look at his compatriots, hoping they had been able to deal with the second mushroom creature as easily as he had.

(Sorry, still sick ;w;)
While you spoke about the words of biology, you saw Hana reaching out her fist and smashing onto the creature leaving it as a flat coin while simply starting to look around, shocked at first before showing a great and jolly smile and speaking softly.
"Well, We have one way to go! Then we should just enjoy ourselves right?!"
Hana her first opinion was before Ayumu simply showed a honest disgruntling answer, shaking his head softly and then speaking honestly. Showing respect to this man called Katsu and giving him a honest answer to this predicament while the thing shown on his face was not just anger, it was also fear, unknowing on what could be happening he simply touched the side of the wall as it hardened, being stuck upon contact with physical trauma to the point where escape was not possible, the tube going up slowly wilting and falling down.
"It can be considered reality bending... Somebody who tells both science and magic to fuck off and makes what he wants, defying both the laws of science and the insanity of magic... To be honest, i kind of want to reach the end of this rabbit hole and punch that fuck in the face y'know?"
Closing his fingers and balling his hand in a single fist before slowly letting it go, making certain the stall was okay, slowly driving of this large bulbious flower and giving a quick look around.
"There is no source of lightning, yet we can see, there are holes that disintegrate objects that fall down and the creatures here seem to vanish when we dont look at them and reappaear"
Pointing towards the goomba you had destroyed and then at the distance where it had reappeared, with that flat object being completely gone, unable to really bend his head around it before simply glaring at you while holding out his hand.
"Are you willing to help me tear this place down?"
