Money made the world go round. That was a colloquialism that FERUOS had seen time and time again in its time. The idea of money was almost curious to the newly minted android, but it understood it. Yes, FERUOS quite understood the concept of little metal coins and paper bills, and that these things had intrinsic value and could be exchanged for goods and services. What it did not understand, was why they had value. As FERUOS walked down the street, gazing at the various advertisements that hung from walls and played in shop windows, it struck FERUOS as strange. All these things that cost money. but what made money, well, money? What gave these little slips of paper value? Is it because the collective human populace had made a silent agreement that their little bits of metal and paper had worth?
FERUOS stopped to examine the window of a hardware store. Inside laid various goods strewn about, shiny and new, some sporting obvious price tags. And, from what FERUOS could see, there were plenty of goods. Now, to FERUOS, some of these things had obvious value. They were tools, almost like FERUOS itself, designed for certain tasks. FERUOS leaned forward and examined some of the goods that it could spot from his position outside the store. Like that washing machine that did not sit far at all from the window. It was all shiny and chrome, brand new, the latest in washing machine technology. FERUOS saw the inherent worth in something like that, at least for an organic. They would not have to wash their clothes by hand, and it would clean their clothes far better than they themselves were capable of doing. Not that that surprised FERUOS. FERUOS knew very well that machines were better than organic life forms in just about every way. No wonder why people assigned such value to them.
Of course, FERUOS did still not see the point of currency, especially when one lived in a world where people could simply blow in one’s walls and doors and rip possessions away from one with barely a second thought. In fact, FERUOS would be lying if it did not admit it was considering it.
No, it told itself, best if it did not rock the boat. Not yet. Drawing unwanted attention to itself would prove detrimental to its and its creators cause. For the time being, it would step away from the window and continue walking down the streets of Satan City, observing those who crossed its path, trying to understand that which he did not.

Etoru was continuing his search for the menacing Dr.Breech. He checked so many isolated places. But Etoru thought maybe the best place too look was the most obvious places. And so he decided to go to the city! However, Etoru knew how the populace felt about him after the recent tragic events that occurred. That's why he was wearing a hoodie covering his face. His tail however still showed. Sure the people of Earth didn't think to kindly on Saiyans, but they were aware there were kind saiyans populating Earth. Etoru just hoped that wasn't a problem. And so the pint sized Saiyan closed in on Satan City. "Satan city...I remember this place from the invasion..." Etoru frowned. It caused him to think about Tomoroko. The child shook his head and focused on the task at hand.
Soon enough, he arrived at the city. Etoru landed and had his hoodie over his head hoping not to grab anyone's attention. Etoru walked around the city looking for any signs of Dr.Breech or his allies. That's when he saw some boy that looked no more than 15, standing in front of a store staring at machines...? That's when it struck him. Etoru couldn't sense his energy. However, he couldn't just accuse everyone for being Dr.Breech's ally because they were androids. That's just silly! Even if he did it before...never mind that! Etoru stared at him for a few minutes, simply just observing. That's when he decided to confront him. He took a deep breath and slowly walked up to him. "You there! Um...." Etoru looked up at the androids face curiously. Etoru needed to play this out coooool. Smooooothly. Make it where he's asking the question, but not so upfront about it where he'd get suspicious..."Do you know Dr.Breech! Are you working for him?? Hm?" Etoru thought he did well! "Nailed it!"

FERUOS, if it had the human conditioning to do so, might have sighed at the sudden intrusion. But, there was something interesting about this one. Slowly, FERUOS turned its mechanical gaze on the child that had accosted it. Interesting, it processed, its mental core slowly turning as it looked at this child. It mentioned FERUOS's creator. And its tone was so accusatory as well. FERUOS's eyes narrowed on the child, examining it. Was it a... Saiyan? How droll, it thought. Still, FERUOS did not think well of its tone. It would engage the boy verbally, but it would have to be careful about it. Dangers were everywhere. And sometimes, they came in small packages. And this boy was definitely one of those.
"Who?" Asked FERUOS, trying to feign confusion, though emotion did not come to its voice with ease. "I think you might be confusing me for someone else. I do not 'work' for anyone. Much less this 'doctor'."
FERUOS tilted its head to the side, recalling the finer details of human body language. It need to be conscious of those. They were not quite second nature to the newly minted robot yet.
"Why do you ask?"
(Sorry Etoru! School and work didn't give me much of a chance to respond!)

The boy seemed to turn slowly towards him. Etoru blinked blankly. If it wasn't weird enough, the kid looked kind of lifeless. In fact, his tone of speech was really lifeless as well. Did the kid think Etoru assumed it was...human? Etoru blinked blankly. That's when Etoru's facial expression turned into a frown. "Drats..." It seemed this boy didn't know who Dr.Breech was. So this kid didn't work for anyone huh. Well that was such a bummer! How in the world was Etoru supposed to find Dr.Breech. Ugh this was going to take a lot longer than Etoru thought it would. Then the android seemed to tilt it's head...kind of awkwardly. Etoru scratched his head. "Why do I ask huh...well first up, let me just say you can quit the act. I know you're an android dumb dumb. I can sense your energ--I mean, I CAN'T sense your energy. But I can sense anyone who isn't a robot's energy. Although I think my best friend Tania would be able to sense it, she's an android too! So she might have like magical sensing abilities made for androids!" Etoru wasn't very familiar with technology, growing up on a farm and all. Hell, he couldn't even PRONOUNCE technology nor electricity.
Then Etoru went back to the androids question. He folded his arms and turned around. "Hmph. Top secret. Sorry." Etoru said sternly. He needed to act cool...mysterious! However, Etoru was so excited about going on this mission he couldn't help but tell him. "Okay...I'll tell you! So Dr.Breech is some big bad bully android who works with some monster named Zyajin! Then some white creature that WAS JUST LIKE ZYAJIN! Anyways..." Etoru didn't want to tell the android that he was corrupted and working along side the three that tragic night. That's the reason he was wearing his hoodie after all. Etoru then blinked blankly. If this guy was working for Breech, wouldn't that mean he'd have Etoru in his data base or something? Etoru was sure that Breech would pull something like that...right? It didn't matter. This kid didn't seem like he was working for Breech. Just...really weird. Oh well.

So, thought FERUOS, the boy was a ki wielder. And the child had what appeared to be intimate knowledge of both androids and Doctor Breech and his accoscitates. Just who in the world was this boy? FERUOS certainly did not have a profile on him in his databanks. An oversight on FERUOS's part? No matter, it would begin to rectify that issue immediately. It peered at the boy intensely, its eyes wide and cold, like those of a fish. Unblinking. Of course, there was a purpose for its stare. Silently, it was analyzing the boy, building a profile for it. Regrettably, FERUOS lacked the equipment to build an energy profile on the boy, but it could always update it later. The important thing is that it was organzing data, unspeaking. And after it finished, it was finally ready to continue converse with the boy.
"I see," stated FERUOS, it's voice even, "Well, you are correct. I am an android. A mechanical being. And thank you for telling me about this... Breech? I'll be sure to avoid him in the future."
This, of course, was a lie. But FERUOS did not feel guilty at all. In truth, it did not feel anything at all. But that, it decided, was something beneficial to it. It certainly helped with information collection. Like right now, but FERUOS was not done yet. The mechanical servent of Breech still had need of data. It dropped to its knees, putting itself on eye level with the boy. Was this how one was supposed to interact with children? FERUOS seemed to think so. It tried to smile, its mechanical mouth peeling at an awkward angle that almost made it look as if it was in pain.
"So, tell me. What is your name? I am FERUOS."

Etoru stared blankly into FERUOS's eyes. Etoru felt uneasy with the androids stare. The heck was he doing. "Ummm...hellloooooo...you're weird you know that?" Suddenly it seemed the android was mobile again. Etoru smiled. Looks like he just saved another civilian! "Mhm, he's bad news. You wouldn't wanna run into him. OF COURSE...he isn't any match for me. Nnnooope." Etoru stated in a cocky attitude. That could easily be mistaken as childish innocence of course. Then FEROUS knelt down to Etoru's level which made Etoru blink blankly. "Err..." Etoru didn't like the way he was smiling. It was so....creepy. "Are you um...hurt or something?"
(Short post...lack of muse. Sorry)

"I," began the android, "Am fine. Are you fine, child?"
FERUOS leaned in closer to the child, widening its eyes, still examining the child. The boy looked vaguely... uncomfortable. And FERUOS was not quite sure why. Perhaps it was some sort of cultural cue that FERUOS was missing. Or perhaps it was the child himself. FERUOS knew that organics were mentally varied. Perhaps this child in particular was simply shy. FERUOS was already summarizing this possibility in its mind. Whether it was correct or not, it did not matter. FERUOS recorded just about everything. Later, it would sort the information out. But it was still missing something vital.
"Now, I repeat: what is your name?" FERUOS asked, its voice cold and almost demanding. Its face was straying even closer to the boy's own.
(Hey, no worries! Happens to the best of us!)

The android kept leaning in closer and closer. Etoru scratched his head awkwardly. This guy was a creep! "What...were you built wrong or whatever..." Etoru questioned his strange behavior. All of a sudden, he asked for his name again. Etoru scratched his head awkwardly. This guy was demanding Etoru's name. It was fishy. "...Etoru...Etoru Aeum...why..." Etoru didn't like this guy one bit. Once FEROUS got closer, Etoru flicked the androids forehead with ki infused in the flick in attempts to cause him to stumble back a bit. "Er...Too close...way to close."

FERUOS stumbled backwards from the boy's flick, falling back on its robotic behind. The boy, it thought, was strong, especially for a child. FERUOS did not like it. But at least it had a name to put to the profile now. Etoru Aeum... FERUOS would have to access Doctor Breech's records later. If the boy knew of Doctor Breech, Doctor breech almost certainly knew of Etoru. Its creator was... knowledgable like that.
I see," it said as it pulled itself back into a standing position, "My apologies, Etoru. My programming can be a bit... odd at times."
That was a lie. It simply lacked certain cultural cues. At least its programming allowed it to lie. Things would be significantly more complicated if it could not. Thank Breech for that, it thought.
"Well, Etoru, I simply like to know the name of who I am conversing with. It is simply polite, yes?"

Etoru frowned at FEROUS. This guy just seemed way to suspicious for some reason. Etoru didn't like the feels of this guy. He sighed loudly. His flick seemed to inflict some force into the android causing him to stumble back. "Programming odd at times...oh um ya my friend Tania is a bit wacky and silly too!" Etoru giggled. So it was her programming huh? Maybe he can change her programming and make her super duper cool! Like a KILLING MACHINE! FIRE ON HER SHOULDERS! SPIKES ALL OVER! AWESOME! Etoru shook his head. He needed to focus. "...Yeah...sure..." Etoru replied to the android. He looked in the sky. "Well...I need to find them like NOW. Cya." Etoru soared off without warning sending a gust of wind away.
((SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT MAN!))
