FrostByte stood upon the mountaintop, chanelling his ki throughout his body. He fully utilized the power of his ki to control his body temperature. Was it making him warm? Heck no! It was freezing on top of that mountain. However, FrostByte was training to maximize his endurance. He stared up into the night sky to see the shining Alpha Persei. FrostByte had read about Perseus within his early years on Earth. FrostByte was always inspired by the ancient myth of how Perseus beheaded the demonic gorgon Medusa. It seemed to bee very romanticized, but it told the basic story of how a hero rises to conquer a foe much greater than himself. I must get stronger! He began to charge his ki, expelling a light blue flare from his body. He watched his scouter as his power rose to its max. 4166 isn't enough! I need more! I can't always depend on my natural might! I MUST become something greater! I MUST PROTE- FrostByte lost his train of though at that very instant, as well as his balance. He went tumbling down the mountain chaotically, seeming to hit every sharp rock in existence. In a few instants he found hisself nearly hitting the ground. Out of reflex, he created an ice barrier around himself to soften the blow. Despite his efforts, however, he was knocked out upon impact.
When he awoke, all he saw were white blurs. Oww! The snow seemed to be concealing his body. He used the lottle strength he'd salvaged to move the snow out of his face. He still couldn't see quite clearly, but dark sillhouettes danced around his still aching body. Suddenly, he saw a humanoid sillhouette fly from the mountain, seeming to be coming OUT OF the mountain. He still couldn't read his scouter, but since it didn't seem to be going crazy, he found it safe to assume that whoever this person was, their power level wasn't too high. As his vision cleared and his body stopped aching, he began to stand up. It was then when he saw it. There was a building WITHIN the huge mountain. It was incomplete, but despite that, it was rather impressive. That probably shouldn't be there...I should go and collect some information on it just in case. FrostByte slowly flew toward the strange building. His scouter didn't pick up any ki signatures, so the building ws probably empty. He entered with caution, hoping not to trigger any alarms. He knew his safest bet was to stay off of the ground for this operation, as there were likely trigger plates in the floor panels.
Upon entering the facility, he immediately noticed a blue emblem that he'd definitely seen before. He'd never really paid attention to it before now. It seemed irrelevant at the point, but now his mind was overflowing with ideas. Maybe they're an international - no - intergalctic terrorist organization! Or maybe a gang who's claimed all of the major cities on Earth! Or even a secret alien group bent on conquering the Earth and enslaving its population! Whatever it was, FrostByte was determined to get to the bottom of it. He flew around many rooms, most of them being empty. One, however, was completely full of documents. There seemed to be some advanced human security system that kept the door locked. It seemed to have one fatal flaw, however: the huge glass window couldn't possibly be any match for his swords. Primitive Earth technologies couldn't possibly compare to the pure strength of an Arcosian. Whoa! Tone it down on the superiority complex. Heroes are supposed to br humble. Making this note, Frostbyte still proceeded to charge his ki into his now unsheathed swords. Unleashing his power in its fullest, he struck the window with insane power which, unfortunately, did mre damage to FrostByte than it did the glass.
He was about to make another attempt at shattering the glass pane when suddenly red lights started flashing everywhere. The ear-piercing sound of a million airhorns blasted directly at him. Unsure what to do, FrostByte panicked. He proceeded to fly around the large facility, looking for a way to go unnoticed. Unfortunately, the building was nearly empty, making it impossible to hide behind anything. He quickly covered himself in a frost barrier as he continued to move along. He was flying toward the exit when he noticed a figure coming at him at full speed. I can't run anymore! I've been caught. Now I have to face the beast. FrostByte stood with his swords in hand, preparing for the worst. Shenron, please don't let me die here.
