The Saiyan had been chilling out that day, it seemed to be a day like any other, but he couldn’t really tell the difference. He could not say his routine was even that different after all, most especially when you were used to train for hours and hours. “Now that I think about it..” - he narrowed his eyes as he muttered, trying to make peace with his own regarding a recent event. Not too long ago, that day Cornatto was simply going through his push-ups but he was suddenly interrupted, not by a person but from the sky itself.
The sky became dark, just as if night had fallen earlier than usual and the Saiyan had no idea about what was going on. It didn’t last long though, and he simply resumed his exercises shortly after.
“..Well, perhaps it was an.. eclipse of some sorts.” - he said to himself, walking with a quick pace through the forest.
Cornatto raised a brow as he saw someone off in the distance, he couldn’t see what the Human was up to specifically, but he seemed to be quite.. nervous by the looks of it.
The man looked like any other of his species, but he wore glasses and casual clothes and he had short hair. He held a Dragon Radar, but it didn’t seem to be working, as it was not pointing out any wishing orb on its screen. “Damn you! Why won’t you work?! This was their last location, they couldn’t just disappear out of nowhere! Dammit!” - he raised his voice as he spoke to himself, loud enough to let the Saiyan hear.
The Saiyan decided to approach him, trying to not frighten him. “Uh.. hey, what’s the problem?” - he asked, looking at the man curiously.
The Human turned and glared at the Saiyan. “What’s the problem?! You even dare to ask?! This freaking radar is not working anymore! I was so close to collect all seven dragon balls, all of them were here and now this thing isn’t working anymore!” - he told him.
Cornatto raised a brow, tilting his head as he tried to figure out what he was talking about. “Uhm.. Dragon Balls? I suppose they are on a dragon’s lower part of the body, that’s usually how it works for most animals at least.” - he told him. The Human narrowed his eyes, shaking his head slowly. “No, you idiot.. I didn’t mean that kind of balls! I mean the Dragon Bal-.. I guess you know nothing about the legend then. Let me explain.. the Dragon Balls are seven wishing orbs and once you’ve collected all of them, you can summon the almighty dragon and then he shall grant you one wish!” - he told him and crossed his arms shortly after.
“I was going to collect them and wish for lots of girlfriends, but apparently this thing doesn’t want to work anymore..” - he continued and let out a sigh.
The Saiyan was intrigued as he listened to his words, he didn’t know if he had to believe him or not, he had never heard of such orbs. But he decided to stay and listen to him, after all the Human had no reason to lie, hopefully at least. “..And what are you going to do now?” - he asked.
“My only chance would be to climb up that tower you can see over there, but it is too high.. It is probably where the Dragon Balls are stored, since I tracked them here last time. I can’t even use any kind of helicopter to fly up there. I’ve heard you can’t just skip the entire climbing process, it is some sort of tradition here, if you even try to just fly up there, your vehicle will be struck down.. So, yes.. I can’t really do much for now.” - he told him, pointing out at an . The Human closed his eyes and tried to calm down.
Cornatto was really curious after hearing such story, he glanced at the tower pointed out by the Human. It seemed quite tall, which was quite unusual but it was definitely intriguing. He looked at the man for a moment, his eyes were closed and he decided to use this chance, walking towards the tower silently, then he placed both hands on it and took a firm grasp and began to climb it. He was trying to be as quick as possible, after a few moments he couldn’t be seen anymore, the Human himself looking for him once he opened his eyes. But the Saiyan was nowhere to be seen.
“I wonder what is so special about this tower.. there is an actual tradition, so it must be awesome!” - he thought to himself, cracking a smile. The Saiyan had been around the planet but he had never heard about Korin’s Tower, he was really excited to find out what.. or who he could find up there.
Hours later, he widened his eyes and grinned as he seemed to have come to an end. But he immediately narrowed his eyes as he glanced upwards and took note of a red stick of some sorts. He rolled his eyes and let out a grunt. “Is this tower for real?! Ugh.. well, I could fly up there.. just for a bit.” - he said to himself, but he shook his head shortly after.
“No.. if what he said is true, I’d be struck down and I have gone so far..” - he closed his eyes for a brief moment and let out a sigh.
“Alright then, here I come!” - he said, and then resumed to climb even further beyond.
Thankfully, after a bit the Saiyan seemed to have almost come to a real end as he could see something in the distance. He narrowed his eyes, he couldn’t tell what it was, but better than nothing. He had been climbing since hours, he was quite tired and anything could have been fine at that point.
