Two humans somehow managed to make him feel weak. Earth has not been going to well for poor Edoma Soya so far. Though perhaps his time on earth has been wasted so far. Sure he's trained, but he still felt like he wasn't growing, which was part of the entire reason he was here in the first place. Maybe it was time for the young warrior to try something completely new. He had the devastating Dura Cannon, brought out by anger and frustration, and his signature Cherry Bomb. As much as he wanted to perfect what he wanted to be his ultimate move, he still did not understand it well enough to work on it. His Cherry Bomb on the other hand was powerful and he knew it inside and out. He then formed the pinkish red sphere of ki in his right hand, and shot it at a familiar cliff. He then decided to charge it up slightly before throwing it one again on a different rock formation. Finally, he threw one more red exploding sphere at full power at another cliff. He observed the damages to each rock, thinking of how he could improve on this attack besides making it larger. He wanted something different, a variation on his signature move. "If only the rocks could move around." That's when it came to him, what if his target was moving, they could easily dodge one bomb, or if there were multiple targets, only a small handful might get a little burned by a singular explosion.
Taking a moment to catch his breath, Edo launched several bombs at once, or so he tried. He managed to shoot one explosion, and four or five puffs of cherry smoke. Cherry smoke huh, maybe he could turn that into an attack. No, he had to focus now. He spent a good ten minutes trying his best to make more than three blasts, but could barely managed two, one being from each hand. He had no idea how to go about this. Making the attack itself was simple enough, modifying the attack felt impossible. There were plenty of attributes to factor in, size, shape, density, speed, effect, and probably more he couldn't think of. So with this in mind, Edo decided to try and focus on a single attribute before trying to put them together. He fired one sphere that was about three times as large as his normal technique, which was a little bigger than his head. This attack did very little damage, acting as a normal ki blast but larger. Next he launched a ball that traveled much faster than his original, only creating a small pop with a surprisingly large crater. Then he tried shrinking the bomb, trying to compact all the energy he used , only making it smaller. This attack actually managed to do more damage to the scenery than the teen expected, and he felt as if he could launch another with little effort. Now he was on the right track.
Deciding the best course of action was to condense the explosive energy ball, up the speed, and slightly decrease the explosion radius, Edo managed to fire three mini bombs from each hand, making six total. This was certainly a step in the right direction, but still not good enough for the stubborn teen. His dichotomous thinking taking hold of him, he though this attack had to be perfect, otherwise it wouldn't be worth using on a seaman. He tried another tactic, same style of blast, but instead of zooming off before the rest, he would try to create the explosives first, then send them all after their target, singular or plural. The first attempt went about as well as one could expect, he blew himself up. In fact, this happened about three more times, twice in a row at one point. Still he had the right idea. Eventually he managed to create twelve miniature cherry red balls of explosive goodness. He looked back, towards his outstretched arms behind his back. He was proud of his work, the spheres of energy whirring quietly to themselves. He then brought his arms forwards, his fiery children each flying forwards, before they all exploded in the air. though hone singular explosion was unimpressive compared to the original cherry bomb, the twelve combustions together created a beautiful fireball. Finally he managed to create a variant of his classic Cherry Bomb. Of course one success doesn't mean he could do it consistently, and decided to spend the rest of the day practicing his new move. He tried a few methods, having the cherries hang back behind him before all flying towards the target, and another where the all stood still in the air, what would be around a target. He was proud of his work, and now excited to use it on some poor unlucky sap. He then thought of Jerry and his gender confused clown. He, she, they, it... whatever that thing counted as would love the new move knowing it. For now though, he wanted to at least use it more than once without messing it up the nest time.
