Roh'ni rode atop of her befriended cloud spirit, Pooffa. As she held on tightly to Pooffa, she watched Fukurou Forest disappear beneath a blanket of clouds. Pooffa had been flying up the giant white pole for hours and still it felt like it never ended.
In truth, Roh'ni did not understand why Pooffa was flying up here but the view was phenomenal. She looked up at where the pole led upward. The pair had saved each others lives so Roh'ni trusted Pooffa.
"I've seen this giant tower all my life from afar. How could I be right here and it still feel just as distant as it ever was..." Roh'ni pondered "Why is this thing so tall? I've never seen a dune or tree as big as this..."
Roh'ni was growing curious now as was her mother's nature. She peeked at the countless clouds below her. Her and Pooffa were still flying in the skies above the forest.
"Is this where you live, Pooffa?" Roh'ni asked.
Pooffa remained silent. Roh'ni forgot that her new friend only communicated through jiggling.
Roh'ni looked back up at endless tower above her.
"I wonder what's up there" Roh ni stared at the strange tower "I dont think anyone could possibly live up there except for more of Pooffas kind. Those forest ninjas referred to this tower as the 'Kami'. There seemed to be some conflict between them but maybe I can help resolve it"
Pooffa must have heard her as they began soaring upward to the top of the tower.
After more hours, the sun began to set and the shell like object that was at the peak of the tower was now in view.
"So this tower does end" Roh ni thought to herself.
As they approached the top, the shell was bigger than she thought. The top was half a sphere and was a platform for pristine shrines and gardens at the top.
Roh'ni hovered slightly above the floor of the platform curiously. The last place she had seen that was clean was the horrible lab she came from...but this place was...otherworldly. There was a serenity to it that made each of her breaths peaceful. She leaped off Pooffa's dorsal side and stretched her limbs.
"Thank you for everything, Pooffa" Roh'ni smiled, "you can leave now if you want. I hope we meet again someday"
As she walked away, the cloud Pooffa followed close behind. Roh'ni smiled understanding that Pooffa want to travel together. Pooffa was another lost soul like her.
As she carefully stepped around the shrines, she curiously looked around.
What were the ninjas mad at? They must have been scared or just as bewildered about the tower "Kami" as she was.

(Heavy Weights On: Power Level 23,110) Not far away from where the young girl had landed on her cloud, a dark form sat, sequestered near the plants on the Lookout's surface. The structure in the center obscured his form slightly, as did the fact that he sat quite still. Only his hand moved, ever so slightly, as his Ki flowed through his palm, invigorating the plants around where he sat. This was Walker, the caretaker of Kami's tower, and one of the Z-Fighters. His coloring and role were ironically quite similar to a certain caretaker from many centuries earlier. However, his origin was a bit more... complex.
Garbed in an dark purple outfit, his clothing did not cover much, though there was not a lot to really cover. A set of armor, similar in style to a Majin Berserker without the spikes, a long tabard that fell down to near his knees with a deep hood, and a large scabbard resting not far away. His actual body was thick and trunk-like, appropriate when you consider that it was made of an odd, black-hued wood of some kind. Stretching, Walker stood, smiling down at his work. The once-withering flowers were now back to full health, blooming and twisting into incredible shapes and hues.
Leaving the blade where it was, he simply sat in place, rising up to sit atop the Lookout's building. After a moment of watching the young person below, he smiled. Mustering his Telepathy, the primary method of communication he used, Walker queried out "loud", "Hello there, young one. Welcome to the home of God. I suppose I would be the butler. How may I help you?"
Walker used Bio-Jungle Walker used [SU1] Telepathy to broadcast a short range message. Audible to anyone on the Watchtower.

[Thread PL: 280,767 | Enlightenment (x16 Perm) Activated! Current PL: 4,492,272! | [SU1] Ki Suppression Active! Current Sensed PL: 50,000!]
The Guardian sat on his large stone throne. It was a bit too big for him, but it wasn't like he was going to complain about it. His senses focused intently on an Energy that was flying towards the Lookout, yet exerting no Ki to do so. Bing pondered the situation, but before he could decipher the conundrum, the being arrived on the floating platform. Slowly, Bing stood up. He reached for the staff that resided next to him, and slowly walked towards the exit.
As he approached the sunlight of the outside world, he stopped. Walker had already greeted the newcomer, calling himself the butler of the Lookout. Bing chuckled quietly, watching the duo with interest from the comfort of his shaded hall. If Roh'ni were to look towards the dim entrance to the temple, she'd barely be able to make out the silhouette of a tall warrior in robes.
"Let's see how Walker does as 'butler'. Maybe he'll be able to greet some of the less important warriors who wish to make an audience. There is a lot I have to do, after all; I couldn't possibly meet everyone who climbed the grand tower."
(Short Post, sorry!)

Roh'ni was startled when a strange creature that she did not spot began to rise up from a kneeling position. Although the creature had a mysterious cloak and an intimidating tree-like size, the creature seemed to have been innocently tending to the flowers nearby. The creature must have taken notice of Roh'ni as it looked at her direction and then moved to top of the platform's building. Like a watchful guardian, the creature sat at the top looking down at her.
All of a sudden, Roh'ni heard a voice clearly and loud as if it was someone speaking right in front of her ears. She jumped atop of her cloud, Pooffa, in response. She turned her head frantically to see who was close to her. When she realized it was the creature that had spoken, Roh'ni calmed down.
Roh'ni bowed in respect to the stoic guardian atop of the temple-like structure.
"Home of god? Ohh I wasn't even sure what was up here...or if even anyone lived up here. If I'm not allowed in, I understand," Roh'ni said unfamiliar with the term 'butler' or 'god', "is 'god' the 'kami' the forest people speak of?"
As Roh'ni spoke, she caught a glimpse of the person's limbs. They almost look like tree branches to her.

Walker bowed back, and floated down, landing in front of the girl. In order to avoid seeming threatening, he landed a little ways away, still sitting, and folded his hands in front of him. It was more visible now that he was in fact not covered in skin, as the smooth wooden body flexed.
"Yes, this is the home of Kami. Kami means god, and vice versa. In this case, it refers to the Guardian of Earth, and the leader of its protectors, the Zetto-Senshi. That means the Z-Fighters, by the way. I am Walker."
The young girl seemed rather lost, and unlike many, didn't appear to be looking for an audience with Kami. She was also relatively young, and her power level appeared to be only 6 or 7 thousand. It was possible she was suppressing her Ki as Bing did, but that just meant he would have to be cautious. Spreading his hands, Walker cocked his head. "So, if I may ask..."
Gesturing around the lookout, he queried "What exactly are you looking for, here? Or were you just curious about the tower and what was atop it? I confess, I was as well when I first came here a long time ago." It had been quite a while ago, actually. He still remembered the long, long time spent climbing that tower. The magic of reaching the top was tempered quite a bit by being able to just fly up. Still, it was a nice memory.
Thinking, this time in a more directed manner, he sent a message to Bing. /Bing, are you watching? Any input?/ It would be unfortunate if this girl could somehow listen in on telepathic messages, but he hadn't actually said anything wrong. Still, it was best to be cautious, and something about this girl seemed a bit unusual....

Bing smiled as he watched the two interact. It seemed the girl was just as lost as Bing was when he first came to this tower; though he at least knew why he wanted to be up here. Walker did well in greeting her. His demeanor was calm, peaceful, and helpful; three traits needed to greet newcomers. "Looks like Walker won't do too bad..."
Just then, he heard a telepathic message greet him specifically. It was Walker, asking for 'input'. Bing nodded, replying with his own thoughts. "She seems to be kind-hearted, or at the very least a curious mind. Powerful, too; more powerful than I was when I happened upon the Lookout... Keep chatting with her for now. If she asks for anything simple, go ahead and let her have it... And if she asks for a spar, please go easy on her."
The Guardian's gaze fell upon Roh'ni, as something familiar permeated the air around her. The girl's Ki felt so nostalgic... But why?

Roh'ni listened intently to the guardian that stood before her.
"Hello, Master Walker. My name is, uh, Roh'ni. So that's what the Kami is...is this Kami...like me. Can it walk? Does it have a tail like me? Can it fight? What does it eat? Is it a he, she, or something else? Does it ever leave this place? " Roh'ni began asking uncontrollably. She caught herself halfway through her load of questions and stopped herself. She scratched the back of her head and apologized.
"Sorry about that. I guess you can say my friend Pooffa flew me near here. Pooffa and I were running from these ninjas that live in the forest below. They spoke in fear and hatred of the Kami and wanted to destroy him. I came here to see what they feared and maybe reason with this Kami but I didn't expect any of this. I don't understand why they wouldAll my life I've seen this place from afar and I've wondered what was at the top or if there even was one. I'm sorry I don't mean to be rude. I shouldn't have came here without your or the Kami's permission. Are you from the forest or recently came from there? You smell familiar..."
Her zooanthrope senses jabbed at her the closer she approached the being called Walker. There was a musk to him that reminded her of a mist covered forest.
"Are these Zetto-Senshi martial artists? Do they also know what ki is? I can teach them if they don't. If they're trying to protect this place then I think I might...be able to help. If that's alright with you of course, Master Walker..." Roh'ni weakly smiled nervously scratching the back of her blue haired head. Her tail was wrapped around leg that Pooffa hid behind.

Walker chuckled, weathering the flood of questions patiently. "No need to worry. Questions are only natural. I had many myself when I first came here, although that was a while ago. Flying would be much easier, but I did not know how. I climbed instead." Cupping his chin, he thought. "Right, let us answer these in order, more or less."
"Kami is a very powerful Martial Artist named Bing Gan, a human with quite incredible ability. I have seen very few who approach his power now, although I was equal to him at one point. He does not have a tail, although a friend of mine, Kaula, does. She is a Saiyan. As for what you are, I am not sure."
Staring at her for a moment, he made a "Hrmming" sound. "It is perfectly fine. Anyone with peaceful intentions is welcome on the Lookout, you and your friend Poofa." Smiling, he waved at the cloud, eyes closing for a moment. "I admit, I have never seen something like Poofa. How curious." After a moment more of consideration, he shrugged. "As for the forest ninjas, I was unaware of them. I'm not sure why they'd fear Kami, but I doubt they would pose any real threat to him." Chuckling a bit, he smiled. "I smell like the forest, do I? I suppose that would make sense. I am a tree, after all. Just a far more mobile one. I am what would commonly be referred to as a Bio-Android, although I have reason to believe that I may owe my creation more to magic than science. Which leads me to a brief question of my own. You say "All Your Life." How long is that, exactly?'
He did not think the girl was a Bio-Android, exactly. However, her nature seemed oddly reminiscent of Walker's own right after his birth, and it was unusual for someone with such a Power Level to be like that. Asking if the Zetto knew what Ki was... Walker stood up slowly, not wanting to spook her. "They are indeed Martial Artists, small one. However, I do worry about something. You obviously know of Ki, but from your statement, I take it you do not know how to sense it? Most fighters I know are able to detect the Ki of others." Bringing his fist out, he flexed it, a dark purple Aura glowing about it. "This is my Ki. A fighter's power is generally measured in units. Right now, I am at about 24,000 of these units, approximately. You would be about a fourth of that at the moment, which is quite high compared to most people. The Z-Fighters are all about my level or somewhat stronger. Bing, the Kami, is many times my own strength." He refrained from telling her that his current level was both untransformed and under the limiting capacity of his restraints. Scaring her would do no good.
"Do not misunderstand, though. We always welcome new people looking to protect, regardless of your current strength, and numbers mean little. It is merely a first glance of what you are capable of, and does not reflect your cunning or skill, only raw power. You are already far above most people, but you would require training, nonetheless." This was grim, but necessary to say. "Fighters do die, after all. Sometimes even the strongest, but the stronger you are, the better you may be able to defend others."

"A bioandroid..." Roh'ni thought. She have never seen another one...let alone one that was a tree.
"I was, uh, born about a year ago, Master Walker..." Roh'ni looking downward, "...I was grown in a lab...its complicated..." she says looking off to the side, seeming as if the topic made her uncomfortable.
She listened with interest to Walker's explanation of ki, the Kami, and the Zetto-Senshi. She grew amazed after hearing it all.
"I knew there were stronger people in the world but I never imagined how far it would escalate" Roh'ni said biting her lip
"you know far more about ki than I do," Roh'ni begins fiddling her thumbs.
"....If it's not too much to ask, could you teach me how to sense ki. I want to train but...but I haven't had anyone to train with in a very long time"
Roh'ni bows to Walker
"Please, teach me what you know and allow me to fight with the Zetto-Senshi" she says from her bowing position.
She had never known what she was seeking when wandering. Whatever this "normal life" her parents wanted to have, she supposed. Her journey to the west led her here and if another opportunity to learn martial arts presented itself to her, why wouldn't she take it?

The tree laughed, a deep booming noise that sounded much like something echoing inside a hollow log. Folding his arms behind his back, he looked down at her. "I see, I see. You're not much younger than I, then. Well, you seem well-intentioned, although I would like to know at some point about your origins. However, I understand if you do not wish to disclose these immediately."
Adjusting his stance, he began to walk a slow circle around the girl, hands still behind his back. "If you would like to train, I would be more than happy to do so. Bing may like to as well, but he also has quite a few burdens to bear. Also, and I mean no offense, young one..." He scratched the side of his face with one long finger. "I suspect it would be far harder for him to train you without injury." Nodding decisively, he turned in place and faced her once more. "I would be honored to be your teacher, if you will have me as such. As for joining the Z-Fighters, I would have to defer that to Kami to be sure, but I suspect he would be more than happy to see more people fighting against the greed and violence of the worlds."
Moving into a fighting stance, Walker let himself rise up. "For your first lesson, we will try to get you to sense the Ki energy of another fighter. Close your eyes. I will move around, okay?" To demonstrate, he moved gently to the left and right, his feet not touching the ground. "You may well be able to hear me, but hopefully, you will be able to feel... this.' With a surge of effort, he pushed his Ki outward, activating Bio-Metabolize for a moment to increase the effect. It was visible, even without the use of Ki Sense. Hopefully she would feel something from that pulse, and be able to track it.

Bing's eyes widened as he heard Roh'ni's explanation of her birth. She was born in a lab, yet she was not a bio-android or even an android! He pondered just how this came to be, but was hardpressed in finding a possible answer. He continued running through possible explanations as Walker began training her in the art of Ki Sense. He imagined she might have trouble grasping the concept fully, so he decided to assist her a bit.
He smiled as he began to speak telepathically to only Roh'ni. His voice was soothing, which would most likely give the hint to Roh'ni that Bing was a kind soul. "If you're having trouble feeling the energy of others, try to sense your own first. Once you've figured out what it feels like to sense yourself, sensing other warriors will only come naturally to you." Though he hoped the girl wouldn't be too startled by his telepathic advice, there was always a chance she'd freak out a bit.
The Guardian continued to watch the duo from the shadows, waiting for the proper time to fully reveal himself.

Roh'ni nodded. Seeing the tree sage radiating a dark purple ki of his own filled Roh'ni with determination. She began to breath deeply. She felt the wind rushing by, the energy being from the garden soil from the flowers Master Walker had tended. And yet still...she could not sense Walker's ki. It was there, she could sense that much but she couldnt how many of the units of ki Master Walker had described. She was so close, it felt. When Roh'ni opened her eyes, she was sweating all over. This training was intense and very different than strength or technique training.
Seeimg Walker patiently waiting filled her with determination again. She closed her eyes and focused on.her breathing to start with. A benevolent wise yet bright voice entered her mind. Taking the advice, Roh'ni focused on the ki slumbering within her body. She felt rising towards the top. She felt the amount of ki held in each elevation of her body. As she reached the top of head, she continued to feel more ki except it was far stronger than her. She felt it pulse deep within someone. She opened her eyes and realize she was sensing how much power resided in Walker.
She looked around, surprised. She thought she felt someone nearby that had arrived while she had meditated but to ger surprise no one new was around
"This...this is amazing...I can see it all"

The wonder in Roh'Ni's voice caused the tree to pause. As he comprehended her words, he stopped the surge of Ki, letting his energy fall. "Well, well. VERY well done indeed!" There was a moment of questioning, though. She had seemed to suddenly just... get it. How- Letting out an internal sigh, Walker flicked a thought towards Bing. /Bing, I was teaching her. I mean, I suppose you helped more, but still./ Tacking a slightly hurt grumble to the end, Walker refocused on his, and apparently Bing's, student. He would have to remember that for next time. "Well then, out of curiosity... now that you can sense Ki, how many people do you feel on the Lookout? Besides yourself, of course." Gesturing around, Walker purposefully did not turn his gaze at all. It wasn't intended to sell out Bing, but he also was genuinely curious to what extent she had grasped the skill. It made sense that she could, though. The amount of Life Energy currently on the Lookout, even just from the two of them, was quite sizable. /What do you think? Would she be allowed to join the Zetto Senshi? She likely will require more training, to be sure, but so did I, when I first met your predecessor. She has my vote, anyway./ Standing up, Walker rubbed his hands. "Well then, you should be somewhat better equipped now. You will want to practice, to be sure, but it sounds as if you have the basics." Tilting his head, he looked at her. "You said you know about Ki, correct? Have you begun creating your own Ki attacks? Not just simple strikes, mind you, but something more... complex." Turning, he faced up and off the Lookout, bringing his hand up. "Like this." His hand spread wide, and with a surge of energy, his arm shot forth a wide, dish-like burst of Ki. As the energy faded, he turned back. "While simple blows and quick bursts are necessary, it is quite helpful to have techniques of your own that are more energy based. Of course, you can also mix Ki with Melee. Imagine that attack at point-blank range, and you can understand why stronger Ki skills are useful." He did his best to sound inquiring, and avoid any false hint that he might be condescending her. She had asked for teaching, and he would be incredibly remiss if he did not cover this.

(Woops! Forgot it was my turn)
Bing chuckled at Walker's telepathic message, apologizing quickly for interrupting. "My apologies, Walker. I figured she might need a bit of a push in the right direction, that's all. You were doing well in assisting her however! Had I not intervened, I'm sure she would have gotten the hang of it in a few more moments."
The Guardian smiled. It was pleasing to watch someone learn something as important as sensing other life. Roh'ni's amazement mirrored Bing's own when he first learned it. Something about being so connected to the entire world made learning about Ki seem so much more important.
"She's a quick learner, and she definitely seems to have a kind heart within her... I say she can join, just don't let it get to her head or anything. Being labeled as a Defender of Earth might make her ego swell." He chuckled, returning to simply watching the duo once more.
