There were a few, mixed feeling towards the events that had just transpired in that last instant for Edoma. First, he was confused, realizing he did NOT in fact mishear Jerry when he used he and she with the doll, that and trying his best to understand how this system worked for the two in general. Second, a wave a cocky pride, followed swiftly by frustrated anger, upon seeing much less damage than expected. That then dissipated into a fearful bewilderment upon seeing just how inhuman the clown was. Then the anger came back, though lessened from the first time, mostly at the doll claiming his blast 'wasn't much.' However, he then felt conflicted. Last time he received a similar lecture, it pushed him over the edge, which caused him to lose his vision for a while. In fact the thought irritated his eyes, as the memory flooded his mind. This time it seemed more like teaching rather than taunting. What really lightened his mood was hearing that the Poltergeist couldn't feel pain, which would explain why his attacks seemed so light. He took a deep breath, realizing he has yet to inhale once since firing his beam. "Thanks." he panted, taking a moment to collect himself. He was honestly confused as to what to do now, he could always try a Cherry Bomb, have that one rated, but he practically knew that attack inside and out. In fact, why not? He had plenty of energy left, and even if it was his signature, it still couldn't hurt to test it out on an opponent that wasn't entirely unbeatable. "If you don't mind waiting again, I got one more, I don't think it's as strong but I've had this one for much longer?" he asked. He was expecting a no. As a matter of fact, had this situation been reversed, Edo would most likely waited for one, but was far too impatient to sit back for another. That in mind, the teen waited for an answer before making another move.

"Sure thing.~ The Poltergeist answers cheerily, flashing the lad a wink, before chuckling quietly. For whatever reason, it was certainly excited to take an in-coming explosive blast to the noggin. The flirty being that floated before the Saiyan was almost nothing like the bored doll from earlier. Before the fight started, the toy carried itself with the energy of a dying turtle, yet it now stood at complete attention. If it had actual eyes, one could be safe to assume that they would be bursting with ki at that moment.
""I should have a bit more in me before this hour's contract is up." It added, getting into an open stance, as if inviting the attack. "Tell me about this attack of yours." The Poltergeist licked its non-existent chops with its imaginary tongue, panting like a dog that's just been presented a cone of ice cream. "Because I'll be honest, I am positively throbbing for this."
"Oh god..."

His saiyan half was ecstatic, thinking he would enjoy this immensely. However, his human half was terrified, thinking he should stop, something bad is going to happen if this keeps up. Of course as he usually did, he ignored his human half. He was a saiyan, and as a saiyan he was not about to back down from a fight, no matter how strange things got. Edo even ignored the unsettling ki coming from the doll and it's very possible innuendo, which as a teenager, caused him to laugh. "Alright then dolly! This one's simple, a nice red ball of ki that explodes on contact, hence the name Cherry Bomb!" he shouted in excitement, his saiyan blood getting the best of him. "Same schtick as last time, judge the attack for me if you don't mind."

"Just an energy ball, then?." The Poltergeist pouts for a bit, crossing its arms as it loses itself to a round of deep thought. If the Cherry Bomb really is just a ki ball attack, then this entire scenario was wholly unnecessary. After all, it would (more or less) merely be as powerful as the previous wave of energy that the lad had fired. And aside from how the red blast supposedly explodes on contact, there didn't seem to be much else to the move. Not enough to fully grasp onto the Poltergeist's accursed interest, at least.
"A bit too basic for my tastes, but you haven't disappointed me yet." The clown speaks up, sounding a bit calmer, but most definitely hopeful. The attack didn't seem especially interesting for the doll, but still, there was something promising about that on-contact explosion. The Poltergeist was very familiar with explosions. It is basically a walking, talking incarnation of a nuclear bomb, after all. So it figures that this single explosion would be enough fun to validate the damage. If it isn't, then it wouldn't really be worth much, would it?
"Go ahead then." It smiles, bracing itself for impact. "I'll tell you how I feel about it afterwards."

"Yeah it is a bit basic..." sighed the teen, thinking he may have overhyped the blast a bit too much, "but there's still the explosion, that's gotta count for something." He added trying to keep up his momentum. He knew it was a basic attack with an explosive flare to it, it was just nostalgic, it was after all his first ever 'signiture move' and he was proud of it. Still though, he couldn't help but think of what will happen to the clown, not out of fear of hurting it, but more out of fear of howl he stranger it may get.

"If the blast tastes good enough, then... We'll just see what happens then." The Poltergeist nods, hungrily staring at the ball of energy in Edoma's hand. It really wanted to get hit by the damned blast, because surprisingly enough (or unsurprisingly, depending on your perspective.) the explosion excited it on an extreme level, an emotional level, a malicious level. It didn't just want this greatly, it needed this badly. The clown tapped around in place, its eyes quivering as it struggled to hold back the moaning groans of ecstasy that emanated from its excited chest.
Between 'Oooohs' and 'Aaaahs.', the Poltergeist was growing ever more impatient, but even more excited. Perhaps this would be the one that would help it feel. An attack so stimulating that it gave the doll that ability to bask in the pain that it so dearly craved. It needed to know this strange sensation, and it needed it yesterday.
"You can do it, child!" The doll called out cheerily, waving at the boy. "Let your power flow into me..." It cackled creepily, and sighed once more as it walked on. "This will be good. C'mon! Shoot me! Shoot me!"
"It'll be fine." A voice interjected, Nabel's voice in fact, which sounded much less weightier than it did earlier. "She just really likes the 'idea' of pain."

Oh a masochist, is that really a word a sixteen year old boy should know? Either way that wasn't important at the moment, this clown wanted to get blasted and that's just what they were going to get. The red ball of energy seemed to fluctuate in Edo's hand for a moment before condensing itself into a ball only twice as big as his fist. "Just letting you know, this is the first real technique I made on my own, though I'm sure I'm not the only one to have it explode." the teen noted to both Jerry and the clown. Edo did feel a little more at ease when he assured him the doll should be fine. Ignoring the genuine oddity behind the poltergeists words of encouragement he decided to use them as just that, encouragement. He hurled the exosive ball of ki towards the clown, pouring in as much power as he could. If they held still, which Edo had no doubt they would, they should get hit right in the chest, immediately followed by a red explosion to match its former forms color.

As the blast approached its side of the rocky wastelands, a look of absolute glee lights up on the clown doll's painted-on face. It had waited long enough for this to happen, and it wasn't wasn't just going to stand by much longer. A sudden shock wave explodes behind the toy, and in a moment of impatience, the Poltergeist rushes directly into Edoma's attack. The red ball of ki detonates violently, its power completely engulfing the doll, and everything around it, in its blast. For a few brief seconds, a bright orange flash covers the two fighter's field of vision, accompanied the joyous chants of the cackling Poltergeist. As time winds down, and the blast's power fades away, the Poltergeist looks up at the young Saiyan.
"Well, color me impressed." The toy smirks, as its body slowly begins to liquefy. If one checks, they would even find that its ki had begun slowly sapping away and entering someone else: the cloaked stranger. "Much more impressive than your first attack, that's for sure." It chuckles, its now misty form swaying along with the desert breeze. "Now THAT move has potential." It gives a final chortle before disappearing, its power level fading away completely.
The air is silent for a second, and the sound of a knuckle cracking can be heard as the stranger stands up, still cloaked in his garb. "She seems to like you." Jerry grins, shrugging nonchalantly, as if nothing had even happened. "Weird, no one ever grabs his attention."

Edoma was now left panting, having launched two large attacks in succession of one another. The rush of battle finally fading away with the doll. This let all of the teens question hit him at once. "Well that's good, I suppose." he breathed honestly not sure of what to make of that. "Maybe he just needed a good little fight. I'm glad I was able to entertain her." the hybrid added, causing him to smirk upon using Jerry's own pronoun mixture. Since that was the most recent topic to be brought up once again, Edo decided now would be the best time to ask. "If you don't mind me asking, whats up with the pronoun game?"

Jerry couldn't help but smile. First off, because he had just seen the Poltergeist smile it what was most likely months. (Seriously, it's very hard to please that little clown.) And also, because he realized that the boy caught on with his little verbal tick. This kid seemed nice. "That is for me to know," Jerry pauses and pairs his eye roll with a grin, a small layer of black blood trickling down his lip. "and you to find out." He winks his single eye, and shakes his tired head groggily, giving off a soft chucle. "You did good though, Edo." He says, before being interrupted by a sharp beeping noise from the inside of his cloak.
"Huh, lookie at that time." Jerry mumbles, tapping the side of hood to cease the incessant rumbling noise. "I'll see you around, kid." The demon waves, before flying away from the scene with a loud, explosive burst. With a soft cry, he says his final farewell to the lad, still floating away from the scene
"Good luck with traaaaaining."
Leaving thread. Do you want PL or Zeni for this one?

Edoma looks on as the once stranger flew away, he wasn't quite sure what just happened, and there was still plenty of daylight left. Still he felt like his first day of training was well worth it, original probably just going to shadow spar, he ended up fighting an odd clown, and meeting a very odd... wait, he still had no idea who Jerry really was. Still it was too late to ask him his remaining questions, that was unless he wanted to constantly shout at him, which eh figured would be just a tad rude. So instead he yelled, "Thank you Jerry!" and decide to fly back to valley village to sate the apatite grown from the sparring match.
PL for me, what about you?
