Ever since his training to rid himself of the weakness of his tail and then the mastery of his oozaru form, it had been a miserable time indeed. He hated the mind-numbing training when there was no real gain in it. Sure if you trained for one specific reason, or towards a specific goal then training paid off. But it didn't give the results as a true fight or sparring match did. Not to him at least. He was very set in his ways of being a brutal fighter that kept from training in order to make better use of his time. But now...now he had hit a wall. He was in a stalemate and there wasn't any end in sight as far as he was concerned. Such was his lot as a warrior. He had tried to practice his style of fighting, but that didn't last longer than five minuets. Not satisfying enough. He wasn't the mental type so he couldn't do the mental training he had heard so many others talk about. And he wasn't stupid enough to walk into the middle of the biggest city and start blowing crap up. That would bring in all kinds of people, and chances were he'd be vastly overpowered. No in a one on one setting there was a chance he could enjoy himself, win....or loose without being restrained or killed for his actions afterwards.
But then again, attacking a population could provide the needed motivation for some fighters to come running. Most earthlings were too weak and pathetic to be able to handle his kind of brutality and power. He clenched and unclenched his fists repeatedly as he tried to figure out what he should do. Seeking out a master was something he needed but hated the idea. But...even the best warriors had to learn how to bend to needs before they were broken by ignorance. He spit on the ground as he remembered those words. Words repeated over and over to him as a child by his father. Some things did have merit it seemed. He growled and in his greatly annoyed state he shot into the air, hovering just above the trees. His power surged and with a massive yell of frustrations he unleashed a storm of small ki blasts. Their path scattered and fast, going in every directions around him except down and up. As he calmed he watched ahead of him, felt the energy and heard the distance impact detonations of the blasts. That was going to bring someone looking. Hopefully.

The Fukurou forest. Raisu quite liked it, especially given the nice scenery it provided. However, if his encounter with Defrosch was anything to go by, there was a tribe of blind snake people who stalked these trees, searching for people with high ki signatures... Of course, Defrosch might just be crazy. After their last encounter her, he wasn't quite so sure...
But that was enough about Defrosch. Because apparently he was not the only person who hanged around the forest. He felt the ki signature, faint at first. But then he felt a flurry of small bits of ki, and he heard explosions to match. Whoever was tossing them around certainly was not far off. Damn, he thought, what was this guy doing? Fighting? Maybe, he thought for just a moment, the snake people from Defrosch's story found him. No that was crazy talk.
For now, Raisu would levitate in the air and focus for a moment, pointing himself towards the source of the ki. And then he burst through the air, wind whipping all around, weaving around trees as he flew. He was drawing ever closer to the source of the ki. It was strong, much too strong to be an average person. And then he saw the source of the ki: a Saiyan male. Raisu's blood boiled for a moment. What in the Hell was this guy doing here? But he had to remain calm. Like Cornatto had said...
"Hey," he shouted out, "What's going on?"

His hands clenched into fists slowly and then relaxed. Still hovering in the air he barely attempted to calm himself. Maybe this wasn't the best place to seek out a good fight. It served as a place to rest and be away from others, to train himself in one or two things should it be needed. But for a good fight? No this wasn't that place. He lifted his gloved hands and looked at them. His uniform was old, rugged and slowly wearing out. Anyone would know him for what he was at first look. The tail wrapped around his waist, providing a brown break between the faded white armor and the black uniform under. A saiyan. And he was proud of what and who he was, despite what others thought. Hell others were fools to think as they did. But even still, he was a wanderer because he had no faith in the way his people acted in this generation. And part of that...was part of his own problem. So wrapped in this thoughts he almost didn't notice the faint flicker of an unknown ki signature.
Blinking his eyes he lowered his hands and cleared his mind all at once. Was it a mistake or a trick of his imagination? He turned slowly one way and then the other in order to pinpoint the signature. Whomever it was, whatever it was, had a faint feel. At first at least. Turning he caught something in the distance, a spec that moved and was drawing closer. He stopped and kept himself at the ready, his ki still up but not at full. He had yet to suppress it since it wasn't a concern...until now. What appeared seemed to be a young male. Not a child but not a full adult. He slowly turned after this individual stopped after shouting at him. He looked this person over slowly, picking out little details here and their but was still unsure of what was before him. The signature felt like his own kind, the presence was similar but yet it was.....weak. Breathing in deeply he simply stared back for a few moments.
He finally spoke, an even yet cold tone edged his voice. " What goes on is none of your concern boy. Unless your here for a reason. " Now what would happen? He could feel his blood boil, feel his heart beat faster, felt the fiber of his being tensing with the desire and anticipation for battle. Would he get that or be disappointed?

Boy. That did not sit well with Raisu. He was a man grown. Nineteen years old, and twenty in a few month's time. This man had no right to call him 'boy'. Still, Raisu grit his teeth. This guy had a lot of nerve. Maybe Raisu would have to test it. Or at least put him in his place. It seemed that everyone could do with an attitude adjustment these days. And maybe Raisu was no exception, but it wasn't his place to put himself in his own place.
"Hey, man," said Raisu, the irritation obvious in his voice, "If you're gonna be throwing around ki blasts like that, I'm gonna make it my business."
And he meant it. Too many psychos running around these days for him to not make it his business. Too let this go without at least investigating, well, that was out of the question.
"So, I've gotta ask again: what's going on?"

He had an eye for ready some reactions of people. It wasn't perfect but it was useful enough. Especially during a fight. This young whelp had bristled at being called ' boy ' and this was amusing. You weren't a man until you proved it, earned it, fought for that title. Age had nothing to do with it. He gave a cold grin as he was facing the boy directly. Hands held in half formed fists as his ki still remained very apparent. Watching and listening to this boy gave him time to pick up on things. Soon enough he'd test out his hunch that this was a half-blood. The signature was saiyan but not strong enough to be full. Hearing the irritation in the words caused him to chuckle and grin more.
" I'll do what I bloody well please boy. If you want to make this your business then you might hope you can handle the skills of a man. I sense you are partly of my people. But it's clear you weren't raised correctly. " The cold edge never left his tone. He breathed in and laughed lightly. He was a warrior, and he didn't hold back when it came to a fight. Again the boy asked what was going on and he had an idea. This could be interesting indeed. At least it would kill the boredom and break him out of this threatening spiral of despair. " Tell you what boy, you want to know what's going on that bad? Then I have an idea for you. " He slowly moved his body so that his left foot and shoulder were more to the front.
" I'll tell you if you win. Prove your not a boy and that your worthy of holding a warrior's bloodline. " It was apparent in his actions that he wasn't the kind to hold back or restrain from attacking others. He wasn't a psycho but he wasn't a good guy either. And the next motion proved it. His power peaked in seconds and his right hand shot forward unleashing a basic wide beam attack. Aimed right for the chest and head of course.

The attack burned into Raisu's chest, and he grunted. He hadn't been expecting that. He'd reacted, but not nearly quickly or decisively enough. Just what was this guy's deal? Raisu looked at him as he rubbed his chest, chasing the pain away. Raisu was damn lucky that it hadn't hit his head. But this guy had clearly been aiming for him. Typical Saiyan, he thought. Why did he have to share blood with a species like this? They represented everything he hated. War, destruction, anger... Red anger boiling up in his veins, waiting to catch flame and burn like a gasoline fire. Yes, he hated that. But damn if it didn't feel good. Raisu's body shook. He was really going now. But he had to keep calm. Even if the guy was a real jerk, Raisu didn't want to hurt him. At least not too badly.
"Alright, mister Saiyan, you've picked a fight with the wrong halfblood," he said, his voice rising, "And you think I was raised the wrong way? Seems to me, Saiyans are the ones who could use an attitude adjustment!"
And with that, Raisu lunged at the man, bursting with speed. He aimed a swift punch at the man's gut, and he hoped that his aim would prove true. If not, well, he'd make something up in the moment.

He grinned taking an offensive stance once the beam ran it's course. He was surprised the kid took the attack and barely took much damage. This was going to be fun indeed. Just the challenge he needed. He watched carefully for signs of motion as the desire for battle continued to rise. But as he listened, the more he understood and the more the kid made sense to him. That was truly pathetic. He pushed his ki to it's peak and prepared to strike. Leave as little room as possible for a counter attack to be launched. Always try to be the one being aggressive and in the lead. He chuckled at the words thrown at him by this kid. He'd have to educate him properly on being half saiyan it seems. Such a shame but it wasn't a surprise really.
" You will try, but you will fail. " Came his cold reply as he launched himself forward. The kid was fast, but his battle experience seemed lacking. A swift punch aimed for the gut was a good choice, but not this early in the fight. It left you open and off balance. So he tensed his body for a brief second before relaxing it the moment the attack struck. Absorbing the force, taking some of the power out of it, and leaving him able to counter. Which he did so by bringing his hands up over his head, clasping them together and bringing them down hard. Aiming for the spot the neck joined the shoulder in a double handed blow.
" Come on kid! Show me what you got! Show me your worth my time! " Should the blow land, he'd follow up with his right knee coming up to strike the kid in the face. The normal style for a saiyan was blunt force trauma. Massive damage dealt in hand to hand combat, then came the ki attacks. Ki attacks for him were for mid to late game, or as an opening act. Usually at any rate. The throbbing in his midsection though told him now that despite his experience in reducing damage, this kid had more strength to him that was shown. He'd have to be more careful.

Raisu simply took the blows, grunting and coughing with each one. He saw stars as the knee collided with his face. Damn, he thought, this guy knew how to fight. But Raisu knew a bit about fighting, too. While some might say that Raisu lacked the raw training of a real fighter, he had a certain finesse and strength to his fighting. Not to mention, he was a pretty sturdy guy. He'd take these blows and keep on trucking.
Raisu stepped back from the Saiyan man and quickly reassed the scenario. He'd have to be quick and decisive. The spark of a thought echoed in his mind and quickly he cast his leg out and swiped at the Saiyan's own, attempting to knock him off balance. If he was successful in the endeavor, he'd lurch forward and attempt to headbutt the Saiyan while he was off balance.

He was slightly surprised that his blows, both of them, connected. It showed the lack of battle experience, but the way the kid seemed to take the hit and shrug it off was another story. It told him that there was more to this kid than he could see, could sense, and that the saiyan blood was indeed in this one. The motions that the kid fought with was that of a trained fighter, but that was it. He knew how to fight, but didn't know what it was like to fight. He gave a half grin as he backed off lightly and arched a brow. " Interesting. But if your going to be a punching bag then this isn't going to be any fun at all. "
The next action was a curious one. They were still in the air, though they had descended with the trading of blows. But not so far as to be standing on the ground. So the low kick was a move that made little sense to him. That was an excellent choice to try and set up a fast follow-up after getting the opponent off balance, but here in the air? It made no sense. So he simply grinned and lifted his left clear of the kick. His arrogance showing, and thus opening him up to that speedy follow up. Damn the kid was fast! The headbutt was a crude but effective attack and it struck home. Causing him to grunt and curse under his breath at being taken but such a basic attack as that. " So you do have skill. But you'll pay for that! " Recovering he threw his hands together and dropped at an angle. Three large ki blasts fired at the kid to buy him some time to land. Time to go to ground, where he had the advantage.

Raisu's blood was almost at a boiling point now, the adrenaline in his veins fueling his ability to fight. This was getting fun. Despite the clear difference between the two, things were really going now. But Raisu wasn't going to lose. He'd already told himself that. As the man shot ki blasts at him, Raisu dashed forward, knocking them aside harmlessly with his hand. He was going after the Saiyan. Raisu would give no quarter, no peace. Then they would see who the boy really was.
Raisu extended his hand and shot his own yellow blasts of ki in return, just a simple basic blast. The kind that everyone and their mother seemed to be the master of these days. It certainly lacked the oomph of a more refined attack.

Touching down he began thinking. Watching the oncoming kid and his actions. At this rate he could at least gain some measure of control in this fight. There was no denying the rush he felt at being in such a match. He could tell this kid wasn't at full power, and that even without real battle experience, that he was going to prove challenging. He was ready for it, craved it. Anything to break his boredom. The kid rushed him again in pursuit. Deflecting the blasts easily enough which was no real surprise. The follow up was a return volley which he deflected easily as well. A basic attack that any fighter with ki ability could form and use. But even basics could mean the difference in a fight. He grinned, set himself in a stance that would provide him with both offense and defense. If the kid had paid any attention when they started this match, he'd notice the familiar stance.
" That's right! Come and get it boy! " On the ground he was a better fighter, could utilize his abilities to their fullest. This kid would soon find that out though. His hands were half clenched, ready for the coming attacks.

Raisu was picking up speed, diving like a bullet. His eyes were locked on his foe. And he noticed something familiar about the man on the ground. For a split second, he squinted and considered it. And then it hit him! Raisu was a reckless fighter, but not a stupid or inattentive one. He recognized that stance. He'd seen the Saiyan use it before. Just what was he playing at?
Well, thought Raisu, whatever this guy was planning on, Raisu wasn't going to make it easy on him. As he came closer, just yards from the man, Raisu fired another blast of ki. Hell, Raisu himself might even catch a little heat from his own blast.

He kept an arrogant and cold half grin as he watched the kid. Faster and faster was the fall, like a projectile aimed right at him. Rush head long into it kid. You'll learn the hard way. Nothing seemed to change as he kept his stance. The distance was almost gone between them when the body motions changed. The kid recognized the stance and it seemed he decided to keep coming despite the danger that was facing him in this particular stance. Then the change up came, a ki attack again aimed at him. But with the speed and lack of decent range, the kid was going to catch some of it's tail when it hit. But that was the perfect set up. A short burst of ki and He lifted his left leg an inch off the ground and slammed it back down again. He had taken the time to do one other thing....tune himself with this planets seismic energy field.
That was his nickname after all, given by those that had survived the missions with him. A large chunk of rock shot up, between himself, the ki blast, and the kid. The rock took the blast but that wasn't all. He launched himself forward. Emerging from the dust and debris of the blast. His left shoulder was thrust forward to slam the kid dead center of the chest. If it connected a follow up right elbow to the spine right between the shoulders would slam the kid into the ground. He was braced for the impact, fully lost to the thrill of the battle.

Raisu's eyes widened as his foe blocked the ki blast with a chunk of Earth. Not bad, thought Raisu. He was less surprised when he saw his opponent emerge from the cloud of dust and debris, charging him. He was able to feel it coming; His ki betrayed him. Still, his foe moved quickly. Too quickly for Raisu to change his course. He had no choice but to take the blow and the ground slam that would come with it. But his battle instincts were taking over. If there was pain, he didn't feel it.
He grunted as he hit the ground. But he moved quickly to recover, propelling himself off the ground and back at his foe, his foot outstretched and aimed right for the man's sternum. It might hurt the guy a little too much, but Raisu cared not. His other-worldly instincts were taking over. He just wanted to win at this point, and the gloves were coming off!

He was now laughing. This was great! He was fighting at his full power and this kid was taking it all without a second thought. And then turning around and giving it back. He was well aware that there was more there and he wanted to see it. He wanted to face it. His attack struck and so did the follow up. Turning he came down to continue his attack, things took a more serious turn. The kid had fast reflexes and a fast mind to go along with it. The slam into the ground didn't have effect it should, not in full. The kid simply recovered and launched right back on the attack. And it was a painful one. The kick was aimed center mass, striking his sternum. He felt the shock and impact, felt his ones give ever so lightly as he was thrown backwards from the attack. The pain was there as he rolled onto his feet once he landed. He gave a grin, and the ground began to tremble around them.
His arms came out in front of him, palms open and aimed at the kid. " Now you show your skills! So let's see how you handle the very forces of this planets energy harnessed through my power. " Five ki orbs, each the size of a bowling ball formed in a circle around his hands. The trembling didn't stop either, but remained constant. " Seismic Bombs!" With the words spoken the five orbs shot forward, one after the other in rapid succession. This had to at least even things out. He was grinning non stop, and he could see the kid was also surrendering to the saiyan blood. Each blast should they hit, would send the seismic energies of the planet rebounding inside the body. At such a destructive level that it could break bones and over stress the body. Depending on the victim that is. The draw back was now he had used a good portion of his ki reserves and would be at a major disadvantage should the kid decide to go all out.
