The Gizard Wasteland. A rather important stretch of barren land. Not exactly the best place to train or home skills with a blade. However, Letu Revele was not a traditional sword fighter. As the Saiyan-Demon grit her teeth, she gripped Jigoku-Ko in both hands in the traditional style her father had taught her, looking very similar to a traditional kendo stance, the edge of her blade darkening as she gave a downwards diagonal slash, the blade cutting very deep into the rock as she ground her teeth. She was perfectly pissed. She had asked her mother for years if she had any family. And for years, she was allowed to think that her mother had left Vegeta to escape her own bad blood with her parents.
No, in reality she had a cousin, one who looked remarkably similar to her. She was allowed to think nothing was going on behind the scenes. Her years of training hadn't been to keep her safe when she left, they were to prevent her from stumbling upon more family members. So, with a shout of rage, she brought her blade parallel to her shoulder, pointed towards the cliff face that had dozens of deep gouges in it, and stabbed the rock, the blade sinking a few inches into it, the weilder now sweaty and panting as she let go of the blade, resting her head against the stone as she cursed her mother, her own ineptitude, and her very low power level.

Kaula adjusted her sunglasses as she flew through the sky, clad in her normal battle dress, her sword in it's sheath upon her back. Her scarf pulled over her nose and sunglasses over her eyes. It had been quite a while since she wore these cheap and flimsy, yet rather stylish, crimson lion shades. Where did this amazing Saiyan possibly get such glorious shades, you may wonder? Well it was a not so long story. When she had first started her adventure, she had joined in on a large contest that required amazing skills! And one of her teammates? A special man who she didn't really know, who donned similar sunglasses. But she admired him. He was certainly enthusiastic! Energetic! She had that special thing that just made some humans just so... Not.. Human. It was just something special. Still, what had he given both Kaula and her other teammate? Similar sunglasses. Kaula hadn't seen the man in some time, though, still she'd hope to usually be that energetic still. And while they don't really go with her battle dress's colors.. She still rather enjoyed them. Plus it helped keep the harsh winds out of her eyes. However, as she flew about, she noticed an odd sight! Someone was out here! And.. Soon Kaula went to frown a little bit. She soon stopped flying to hover, quietly watching them as she slowly lowered to the ground, her boots sinking into the snow for a moment. "Alright. One thing.." the girl started, her scarf blowing in the wind as she reached up to remove the sunglasses, collapsing the temples of them before slipping them into a pocket. That hand eventually came up, pointing towards the cuts she had been making with her sword in the cliff face. "Do you want a damaged weapon? Because that's how you get damaged weapons." she stated with a soft huff, eventually placing her hands on her hips. "You can't just wildly swing blades at rock like that. It'll chip. Probably even break." she added on as she started to shake her head.

As her frustration bled out of her with every drop of sweat that hit the sandy ground, Letu felt a massive power level land close to her, followed almost immediately by a very definitely feminine voice berating her for using the rock face as target practice, that it would most definitely chip or even break her sword. All of these things she already knew. But it was when she was told she was swinging wildly that she finally had enough of listening. Firstly, you presume that the sword I use is of common make and material. It is not. Secondly, you assume that I am using brute force to cleave through the stone in front of me. I am not. And thirdly, you presume to call my swings wild, when they most definitely are not. I do not know who you are, and I honestly don't very much care right now. I know that this could break my sword. It is why I am using my Ki to protect the edge, while making it easier to cut things. She said, slowly standing up straight, her fingers wrapping around the handle of her sword as she pulled it from the stone in front of her, the blade making very slight scraping sounds as it slid out of the gouge she had made within it.
If anything, the light reflecting darkly off of the blade was enough of a tell that, whatever it was made of, it was most definitely not natural to this planet. And, with the emotionlessness of the woman speaking, it was also obvious that this was not something she did normally. As she slid the honestly very long blade back into its sheath, she sighed and turned her head, facing the scarved woman. She looked..somehow familiar, but the young half breed was unable to quite place where she had seen this woman before. But, her own expression belied a very high level of understanding of what would break her sword and what wouldn't, and that, while she had been taking these actions mere moments ago, she did very much resent having done them. She sighed softly and shook her head before looking back at the woman, holding a hand out to her. Sorry..I know you are just trying to offer up advice. I just..there are many things that have been weighing on my mind. I..needed a way to vent out all of the pent up anger and frustrations. This was the closest place I was able to find where I thought I would be able to be alone. She admitted, lowering her hand should this woman not take up her offer of a friendly handshake.
In all honesty, she was very much worried about how much damage she had actually done to her Sword. Jigoku-Ko was not exactly the easiest thing to sharpen and keep in combat ready conditions. It was a drawback of the material used to make it. But, the more pressing matter was in front of her, with the woman who had been criticizing her actions. That demanded her full attention first.

Kaula rolled her eyes as a hand came up, tugging on her dark green scarf to pull it away from her mouth, yawning out as the armored mocha skinned girl glanced back towards the other woman. She listened to her, yes. She was one of those. Assuming her sword was super special. It would never get broken. Oh no. Not at all. She brought a hand over to her weapon's hilt, slowly pulling it from her sheathe. She brought her mighty sword around, resting the tip on the ground as she rested both of her hands upon the cross guard. "So. If you're saying that, you must think yourself as.. Well.. Better then most of the dribble I had fought before." she stated with a soft mutter, her left hand removing itself from her weapon to reach up, finger combing through her glorious Saiyan Mane.
Her green eyes glanced towards the blade for a few moments. It certainly was a bit.. Odd, that's for sure. It didn't look too normal, but the Saiyan didn't have to much memory about all the different types of metals on the earth. So she had no clue about wether or not it was from Earth or what. But it was soon sheathed. The warrior leaned in, resting against her massive blade as she smiled to her. "Right.." she muttered. "I figured something would upset someone enough to go take it out on a poor defenseless rock." the Saiyan said with a chuckle. She glanced down at the hand and went to move to stand up straight once more, lifting her large blade up and propping it onto her shoulder with one hand while the other went to take her up on the offer to shake hands.
"My name's Kaula." she said as she chuckled out some, "And if you want to get your frustrations out, you could always spar against me."

Though, for a moment, she was on edge, potentially having to face off against a power level so high so soon, she was quickly proven wrong, as Kaula's show of strength was simply taking her own blade out. However, that fear was quickly reestablished when she offered to spar against her. But..something was off. She had run a hand through what was admittedly some of the most gorgeous and healthy looking hair she had ever seen. And at the same time, she offered up sparring, all while sending a jab her way for clashing against the rocks. Still, she couldn't help but smirk. It's nice to meet you Kaula, my name is Letu. And, to be fair, those rocks had it coming, looking at me like that. She said almost immediately after shaking her hands, chuckling a little bit at her own bad sense of humor. But, after a moment, she seemed to consider her options. After a few seconds, she had come to her conclusion.
Alright. But, I'll warn you beforehand: I'm..not all that strong. So, no Ki. Just our swords. Sound fair? She asked as she reached up and wrapped her left hand around the handle of her sword, drawing it slowly, due to its length being a bit more than her arm could reach out to. But, still, anyone other than Kaula would have not been able to notice the awkward handling of the last few seconds of her draw time, as she had become fully used to drawing in this way.
With a soft huff outwards, she took up a defensive stance, her feet spread slightly more than shoulder width apart, her sword-held in both hands-held out from her at an upwards diagonal angle, her arms bent slightly in preparation for being hit. She never took the first move, though it was probably wise for her to do so in this case, her own sense of fairness never allowed her to make the first move. This was going to be her undoing in this battle, even if they were just sparring, it wasn't going to matter with the massive power gap that was between them. She could sense it, and it scared her. She didn't want to fight someone so powerful..especially since she was very likely what her cousin was..a Super Saiyan. Though the name did indeed still sound silly to her, it was a very apt one she supposed. It was a superpowered version of a typical saiyan. She didn't know if Kaula was one of these, but the chance that she was..it was terrifying. Granted, as someone who spent much of her life hiding her emotions, she didn't look very scared..she didn't look like she felt anything really. It was very confusing to most everyone she met.
(It's fine, that's not that short of a post anyway ^^)

"Oh man. Those damn rocks." she started, the short Saiyan smirking as she let out a soft chuckle, "They're always looking at people weird." Kaula said before offering Letu a quick wink, still chuckling along with the other girl. She eventually took a few steps back from the other female after they shook hands. The mocha-colored fingers gently thrumming against the massive sword's handle as she stared at her upon the request. Or rather the warning. "Not too surprised." she said, voicing her thoughts as she let out a soft yawn, "Haven't met a whole lot of weapons users that are.. Well.. As strong as me." the Saiyaness continued as she brought her blade up.. Before bringing it back slightly, pointing the tip more towards the ground as she moved to crouch low to the ground. "But.. It sounds fair to me."
Kaula just stood there for now, watching her. She was.. Almost a little bit disappointed. She was hoping this one was like other fighters, someone who had just suppressed themselves to appear weak. Of course, there was always that chance. But if she took that chance, she could probably end up killing someone this weak. With a sigh, she shook her head lightly before she went to grin lightly at the girl. "Better keep your eye on me, then, if we're doing this." she spoke. Of course. It'd be easy. Kaula was still just standing there. And standing there.. And standing there? Was she going to move anytime soo-
And that's when it'd hit Letu, likely. No, literally. That's when the broadside of the massive sword would smack right into the girl. Kaula had usually done something like this in some of her fights. She'd end up using her after image technique to distract her opponent. So, while that would likely distract her opponent, she'd come in from a different angle with her power suppressed to get in an attack! Of course, Kaula not only didn't put much stock into the attack, but she was also using the broadside of her blade. So, you know, instead of getting sliced.. Well, she'd probably just get slapped, hard enough to get slammed in to that cliff!

When Kaula just stood there...and stood there, and stood there..Letu was admittedly confused. So, taking a step forward, the last thing she saw before she went flying was a flash of steel. She had taken a step DIRECTLY into the blade. With a whistling sound akin to a very heavy object being thrown, she flew through the air, swearing as she attempted to slow herself down via focusing Ki into her back, lifting herself up via flight..only for her to slam her back directly into the cliff she had been slashing up. For as hard as she hit the rock face, it only cracked a bit, leaving her to fall off of it onto her knees, her sword sinking into the sandy ground as she forced herself to stand, grinding her teeth as the force popped one of her shoulders back into its socket, as she had hit the cliff wrong, and popped her left arm out of its socket. She cried out as a Loud POP was heard, rising to her feet she growled. If your going to pull tricks like that, then I won't hold anything back. She said as her black sword's edge darkened further, and she hovered a bit, flying forward at top speed before she slashed out at Kaula, taking a downwards swing before feinting into an upwards diagonal! She hadn't intended to be using Ki, but Kaula had started it, and it wasn't like she could actually damage the mocha skinned Saiyaness. She was angry now. She knew she was at mere fractions of her power, she could sense it. It didn't mean that she needed to rub it in!
She was immensely angry, and that anger was once again channeling through her body, enhancing the ki of her strike. So, should her sword make contact with Kaula's, she would find that she was facing almost four times the strength that she had felt earlier, a fierce light in Letu's eyes, almost as if they had lit with the fires of pride and anger. In truth, her lust for blood was starting to awaken, she was becoming stronger and stronger, and as she gained power, she would struggle more and more to keep that bloodlust in check. Right now, it didn't matter. Her bloodlust would only lead to facing an unstoppable force.

Kaula paused as a hand came up to scratch at her cheek lightly, a soft chuckle escaping from her lips as she saw her opponent slam into the rock wall. "Heh heh.. Heh.. Guess you aren't actually strong and suppressing your power." she said a bit nervously as that hand went to rub the back of her head lightly, closing her eyes while she did. "You okay or somethin'?" the girl asked before she went to peak an eye open to glance at her, "That did look pretty rough after all." Still, Kaula just went to smirk at the other girl as she growled. "Pshaw. I ain't pulling any tricks." she said quietly as she closed her eyes again. She sensed the other person, and just as she went to charge, Kaula moved to bring her sword up. Of course, she got lucky. Her massive sword would have been large enough to block both the attacks if she chose to go through with the first one.
Though, as it had been a fake, and the upwards slash landed, Kaula was a bit surprised, raising her eyebrows lightly before she moved to hop back afterwards. With a sigh, the skilled swordswoman moved to sheathe her blade, finally opening her eyes. She went to hold her two arms back. "You know what.. I'll make this easier for you." she said as she went to hold her arms behind her back, "I won't use these arms. How about you try to hit me now." Kaula said with a cocky little grin. Of course, that didn't mean Kaula had nothing up her sleeve, she certainly had a certain trick or two.

Like Kaula, Letu had a few tricks up her own sleeves. She hadn't been unobservant. She had been practicing something new lately. So, as she held her hands behind her back, Letu took her blade in both hands, pointing it at her, the blade's point aimed directly at her, while the blade itself was near Letu's head. As she held it out, a black and silver ball of Ki started forming, and after a few seconds, Letu thrusted out with her blade..aiming towards the ground. As it made contact with the ground, the ball of volatile ki exploded, kicking up mass amounts of dust and dirt as Letu took flight again, attempting to circle around her, even as her own energy signature slowly kicked down lower and lower, slowing her flight down at the same time. She had done it. She'd figured out how to suppress her Ki. Though, she did feel noticeably weaker. If she managed to get behind Kaula, she would bring her blade down towards her left shoulder with both hands, a classic overhead strike, hopefully done in complete silence as her power level rocketed back to its normal levels! She was only able to force her ki to go down as low as she had for mere moments, but it had been enough.
As she swung downwards, the thought that she had walked right into Kaula's trap sprung into her mind, and she prepared to get hit once more, to be sent flying. She felt so horribly weak. Her anger..her ki..it hadn't so much as scratched her. Yeah, it maybe had damaged her armor and clothing, but little else had happened. She braced for impact regardless. She knew she needed a teacher..while she would never openly admit it, she could only do so much on her own. She wasn't the kind of fighter that could handle being on their own. She needed to have the guidance of a stronger, more capable fighter. It was obvious, but she was obstinate about going her own way. Maybe this would open her eyes to being taught, and maybe she would get lucky, and Kaula would take pity on her enough to teach her how to properly fight. As it was, she was stronger than the "average" person, but against the typical fighter, she was still unbearably weak. This was her dilemma. She wished to protect those close to her, but she was severely weak.

Kaula quietly watched Letu, inspecting her with her emerald green eyes. What was she doing, Kaula thought to herself as she silently watched her. She noticed the orb start to charge and Kaula thought she was going to use the attack on her. Kaula was mildly surprised when she had suddenly aimed down and the blast slammed into the ground, kicking up dust when it had. With a growl, Kaula went to roll her shoulders lightly, keeping her hands right where they were behind her back as she went to start glancing left.. Then right. Great. this one was using dirty tactics. Something Kaula loved to do herself, but hated having happen to herself, you know?
Kaula felt the sudden spike in power behind her but didn't turn to stop it. She felt the blade press against her shoulder for a second before Kaula went to duck down slightly quickly, spinning on a heel as she brought her left leg up to soon slam it into the side of her opponent with quite a bit of force. No where near as much force as she last hit her, but still quite a bit. Besides, as an added bonus for Letu, Kaula went to stand up straight, her leg still raised in it's kicking position after the kick which likely got Letu a nice glance at Kaula's amazing Battle Panties™ as the Saiyaness was wearing a skirt. She eventually lowered her leg, offering a wink to the other Saiyan, "That all you got?" Kaula asked.
Eventually Kaula took a step forward, slamming her foot down onto the ground and extending her arms outward to propel her kiai out. The sheer force of her kiai easily clearing the dust cloud that her opponent had made, and likely even pushing poor Letu back a little bit as well, "I mean. I liked that last move, you almost got me there. You just weren't quick enough. Or strong enough. Yet, that is. With time, you could easily be strong." the girl said as she let out a soft chuckle, her left hand coming up to the back of her head to rub it lightly as she closed her eyes.
Heads up, Letu, if you could put in the numbers for your attack when you do them, that'd be great for the people your facing so they don't have to do all the math. :V
Just a heads up. <3

The moment she felt that foot hit her in the side, Letu was sent tumbling to the ground, a loud snap having been heard. Somehow, under all that force, her bone had managed to stay in a solid form. Of course, as she rolled to a stop, she got an eyeful of what was under Kaula's skirt, causing her cheeks to heat up a bit as she was winked at. As she fully stopped, Letu groaned in response to being asked if that was all she had. She couldn't feel anything, and one of her ribs was broken. Yet, it still wasn't over. As she felt Kaula's power level spike once more, Letu was physically pushed back, painfully smacking her spine against a large boulder as she was told she almost had her, but that she was too slow and weak to get her. She had no willpower left, but as she sat up, she forced herself to hover up to her feet, clutching her left side, a bit of blood trickling down the side of her shirt. She could feel the rib poking out from underneath her skin. It sucked, but she kind of deserved this. She said nothing as she looked down to her hand, and removed it from what she was covering. It was almost too slight to see from a distance..but if one looked carefully enough, they would see that there was a bit of bone sticking out from about where her last rib would be.
She winced as she covered it again, leaning against a nearby tree. Yes..I know. I am weak. I told you that before we even started. She said, reiterating herself through clenched teeth. This really fucking hurt. But, as she ground her teeth together, she managed to keep talking. I might be able to get stronger quickly..if it were not that I feel like I am hitting a wall in terms of realizing my potential. She finally admitted it. She felt like she was stuck. She was lost, left with only the most basic knowledge of combat, and her own skills. She had learned a new one, which admittedly made her feel better, because now she knew what Jarvis and Tomoroko had been doing when she met the both of them. Still..it felt almost embarrassing to admit that she needed help.
Sorry about that x: Like I said on skype, the fighting system here is new to me, so I did my best to try and stay within it as I understood it ^^;

Kaula watched her as the kick had sent the girl flying. Kaula simply watched as she seemed to struggle to stand. That was when she started to notice the blood. Kaula closed her eyes for a moment. So it seemed she really was weak, she wasn't like some others that seemed to house their power deep in their bodies - or maybe that was the case and she just still couldn't tap into it. Kaula let out a thoughtful hum before she moved to slowly sheath the massive blade that was her great sword back into where it belonged.
Kaula moved to take a more relaxed stance, suppressing her power as she glanced at her, "Yeah. You said that. Didn't fully believe you. A lot of people say they're weak and then end up being a little strong." she teased out as she stepped over towards the wounded person, scratching at her cheek lightly as she looked at her. "Aw yes. The annoying wall. I had hit that before. Took me a while to break through it. All it took was this crazy pink guy harassing the place I was protecting for me to get through it." she muttered before she reached into her pouch, pulling out a single senzu bean and offering it to the other girl.
"Here. Eat this. You'll feel better." she said with a big smile. "I can assist you, if you desire it. I mean, I am an amazing fighter, you know." she said with a goofy little grin. "Helped protect the planet from the recent attack. I'm pretty much as strong as the god here. You know. Cool things like that."

Though Letu had taken the bean that had been offered, Letu wasn't quite certain that she could trust it. She had never heard of a vegetable that could heal wounds like hers before. But..as she listened, more and more the name she had been given sounded familiar. Oh Christ. With the list of deeds, she got more and more of a grasp of how powerful Kaula actually was. So, with a deep breath, strung out by a wince, Letu nodded, exhaling slowly. I suppose..there is wisdom in what your saying. I do need a teacher..I guess who better than a defender of the planet, right? She asked with a bit of a chuckle before she steeled her nerves and popped the bean into her mouth, biting down hard on it before crying out as she felt her rib slowly pull itself back together, the muscle that it had to tear through to be pulled back together repairing itself as the bone set, healed, and strengthened in the course of seconds.
Though it didn't last long, the pain was potent, and left her with tears in her eyes, though she felt better than she had at the start of the fight. Stronger..a bit tougher even. She didn't know this, and wouldn't for some time, but the power of a Senzu Bean was not only to heal, but also to dull the pain of the healing. Still, after it was all said and done, she wiped her eyes with the backs of her hands, Jigoku-Ko somehow back in its sheathe, even though she could have sworn that she had dropped it. Still, she looked to Kaula, with a bit of a bittersweet smile. Well. I guess, if you're willing to teach, then I'm willing to learn. She said, finally giving her stubborn pride up for a real chance at bettering herself.

Kaula eventually lowered the hand that she used to offer the bean, setting both of them on her hips as she went to look around the rocky area slowly, a hand coming up to lightly scratch at her head. Little did she know, that likely wasn't even really how strong she was. "Heh.." she started with a soft chuckle, "It wasn't much. I just got my ass kicked to buy time for the robot to come in and blow the queen up." she stated as she glanced back towards Letu with her emerald green eyes. Of course, Kaula didn't seem to care too much that the other was soon in pain after eating the bean as she soon returned her eyes to glance around at her surroundings again.
Eventually the Saiyaness moved to dust herself off some, "Alright. I suppose I can teach you and all." she said as she rubbed at her chin lightly, trying to think for a few moments. This would be her first student, of course. The first person she'd actually ever teach. "Well. I can easily teach you some of what I know. Yeah." she said again with a slow nod, though that was mainly for herself, "But first thing's first. Are you able to sense energy?" Kaula asked as she eventually returned her gaze towards the female, raising her eyebrows up curiously.

As she was accepted as a student, Letu admittedly was a bit excited. With as easily as her ass had been handed to her on a silver platter, it was a bit exciting to know that she would be learning from someone so skilled. However, she had to admit, it was a bit strange to be asked if she could sense energy. Surely she meant Ki. Which, in that case, she was quite sensitive to it. Of course I can, no self-respecting fighter should be unable to do so. She said quite simply, her hand almost instinctively covering her wound, almost as if her mind were still processing what had happened. All she knew was that, before she ate that bean, she had dislocated an arm, which she had been forced to relocate, and then had a rib break so badly that it was jutting out from the skin. It freaked her out, which she had every right to be.
After all, she could have died in this battle. Of course, Kaula obviously didn't plan on killing anyone. She wouldn't still be standing here if that were the case. But still, she remained silent, one eyebrow raised in a questioning gesture. She really hoped that this wasn't where they were immediately going to start. Sure, she felt fine, and even felt up and ready to go for it. But..something in the back of her mind made it harder for her to jump straight back into combat. She hoped for at least a temporary break.
