(Hey everyone. Just to remind that this is a DEATH ENABLED thread, where death is certainly a strong possibility. Please post your Thread PL when you enter. Also, for the sake of speed and barring a good reason, the accepter of the invite agrees to post on a 24-hour posting time limit. Those who aren't directly involved in the 'bout rounds' that will be organized ad hoc ICly among the coming participants will not be in normal posting order (similar to the Zucceta/Vennel DE)).(Thread PL: 5,745,916) (KP: 3/3) Before there was a tournament, there needed to be a proper ring. He’d spent the last few days making certain that it was all just right. Vi-Poi floated above the arena, watching the peons work. Mobile dozers scraped the scorched piles of tanks and police vehicles into neat and crisp lines of ashen metal, which formed a rectangular border to his kilometer-sized ring. The stone ground had been blasted into a fine sand by his ki strikes, then super-heated into a great vista of smooth black glass. Some of his peons weren’t of the robotic kind, and they too worked, in their own way. There seemed to be some commotion among the peasantry, though, interrupting their duties... Vi-Poi put his fists on his hips and lowered himself amidst the squabblers. The yellow-mustached Chutney Blaze, from Channel Seven – who looked a little worse for wear after Vi-Poi had made him carry his own camera equipment up the plateau – was arguing furiously with two wheezy old sensei from the North Metro Turtle School whom the android had brought on to referee. “That crazy robot kid is going to kill us all if we don’t get this right! The sun will be behind me if we broadcast from this angle, and my complexion is only good for high sun outdoor shots.” “I thought I was already on TV!” Vi-Poi complained, pointing to the smashed and broken TV set that made something of an open helmet on top of his red-haired head. “Y-you are, oh Great King of the Universe!” Chutney Blaze said, fixing his dirt-streaked satin blazer. “But you’re not worldwide yet, and for that we need a proper camera and satellite." He gestured to the rigging behind him. “And the proper shot.” The android’s mania seemed to be increasing as the days went on. Just an hour ago, he had insisted on spending time rehearsing victory speeches, where he heavily criticizes people’s nonchalant abuse of household appliances. He also bizarrely would go on to accuse other androids throughout the planet of having a secret agenda to destroy human civilization. The android nodded in agreement. “The proper shot. That’s what I’ll call it, when I’m asked about destroying Namek. It was the proper shot!” He exclaimed with a cackle. His pale face suddenly turned serious. “Start the tournament. But make sure that I look tall and militant when I go global!” Vi-Poi barked. Chutney Blaze cowered and bowed, then ran to a nearby satellite phone. Snatching the receiver from its metallic briefcase, he shouted into it. “King’s Castle? This is Chutney Blaze, Channel Seven – Where the Truth Blazes Hot! I’ve got Realigner Red here, and he wants you to get the following fighters on the horn and invite them to these coordinates…” He licked his lips and read off a line of numbers, then with a shaking hand picked up a sheet of paper. “Reikiko, Kaula, Cipher 24, Liang, @jarvis, Pieter Wolfbane, Zexama, the COSMOS flunkies ( Articho Reville and Gleciar Avierno ), and last but certainly least, the Insignificant Crap-head Himself Bing Gan. I, uh, I think that’s all.” Vi-Poi wrapped his knuckles against the battered tv-case his pale face was bordered by. “And make sure you get the broadcast right!” Vi-Poi said with a snarl. “I want everyone to see what their King can do.”

[PL: 192,523][Yo guys, seems like we're using KP system] Kaula had been chillaxing an' maxin' (and acting all cool shooting b ball outsi-) in her ship which had been located in the south for the time being.. She was just sitting on her couch for now, sipping at a drink. This little Saiyan Hybrid had been having fun in the sun recently in terms of sparring. And now? She was taking a brief moment to relax. Could one blame her? After all, she was wanting to catch up on one of her favorite Earth shows; Richochet Love . It was about a simple life of a woman. A woman who used to be a government agent. But now that she's retired, a blast from the past had come back to send her love life into the danger zone. At first she clearly didn't like it, but seeing as how there wasn't anything else on she decided to watch it. And so. Episode after episode went on and on, the Saiyan Hybrid getting more and more hooked as she watched! She couldn't help it! Besides, at this point.. Well, she forgot all about training. It was time for her TV show. "Listen, Irene. I-.. I have something important to say.." "What is it, Barry?" "It's about the baby.. Our baby.. H-.. He's-" *Beep beep beep* *Beep beep beep* *Beep beep beep* The poor, poor Saiyan who had been holding her pillow in anticipation of the big reveal of this season finale was suddenly cut off the satisfaction of the ending as her ship was called. "WHAT!?" The Saiyan woman roared out in rage after learning that she was being called. She was being called during the SEASON FINALE of RICHOCHET LOVE! How fucking DARE they do this to her! She works hard! She wanted to enjoy this. BUT NO! That damn virtual poi had to ruin this, too, considering she was getting caught up in this whole fight still! It had been so long that she almost forgot that the fight was going to take place. She stood up, in the middle of the call. Clearly spouting out obscenities the whole time. It took a few minutes but eventually the Saiyan was dressed in her under clothing as she went to grab her new armor, stretching it out a bit as she moved to slide onto it. "FINE! I'M ON MY WAY! You better be fucking playing the episode of my show when all this is done so I can get caught back up on all of it! OR ELSE!" the saiyan girl roared out before turning off the mixed media center. Kaula grabbed her sheathed blade and moved to secure it on her back as she pulled out her scouter as she stepped out of her ship. After that she took flight, heading north now as she put her scouter on.. With the scouter in place, she called her mom, Radasha. "Fight's happening. Go towards these coordinates.." she said before sending the exact coordinates she was heading to. "Don't get too close, keep your distance." she said before closing the call. It didn't take the Saiyan long to arrive. She wasn't suppressing anything. Not now, anyway. In fact, she was soon doing the opposite of that. A golden aura picked up around the girl as she almost effortlessly brought up the transformation. Her hair and tail? They turned to a pale golden color. Her normally emerald eyes? They were now teal. Her power level? Skyrocketing to nearly three million, if one was to be generous with rounding up. Her actual power level was two million, six hundred and ninety five thousand and some spare pocket change. [Went Mastered Super Saiyan! PL: 2,695,322] "Mister Roboto! The fuck you doin' up here? Huh? Come on." she shouted out as her booted foots tapped on the burnt metal of the edge of the ring she was standing on. "It's cold out here. You pretty much interuppted my favorite show. And because of you, a lot of stuff is happening. So here I am." she said before holding her hands out in a 'come at me' sort of fashion. "And I'm likely the first of a bit. So. Do you wanna hang out before the others come? You have some.. What.. Tea..? Do you robots drink tea? Or do you drink motor oil? Or is it a combination of the both. I'm kind of curious, actually." -- KP: 3/3

The Gizard Wasteland, a location that was said to had once been the place where some of the greatest battles in history had been fought at. How ironic must it had been to those who had once fought those battles that today one of the greatest threats of their current generation was about to challenge the strongest warriors of Earth to a battle. Destiny had a twisted sense of humor, to corrupt one of the greatest guardians into turning into one of history's most wicked threats. Today was the day the fate of Earth would be decided, and while several small crews of brave news reporters had flocked around the wasteland in the hope of catching some live feedback for the grand event, the warriors themselves had yet to gather. It was guaranteed that plenty of challengers would arrive, each a warrior with a different reason for challenging this threat. Some would come seeking glory, others would seek revenge... and then there were a handful of people who were 'different'. Those who had a personal reason for coming to this battlefield. She was one of those warriors who had a personal reason for being here. After having ensured the Millennium Hawk's safety and concealment by leaving it in Alice's care, alongside the protection of the surviving knights of Avalon, Reikiko's body was floating in the air as she flew into the direction of the area that had been announced as the 'arena of Earth's greatest battle' or the 'Vipoi Games' as some fools jokingly called it.
She was certain Kaula would be there also, especially since it was a fight the Saiyan hybrid wouldn't want to miss at all, in the end it was part of the reason why they had come to Earth. Nevertheless, Reikiko had first decided to briefly pay the grave of her master a visit, in the hope of calming down the turmoil in her thoughts. To think she was about to fight Vipoi, the one she considered one of her closest friends and rivals. It should have been reversed, in the sense that she was a threat to Earth and he the hero who vanquished it. Yet now it was clearly a different story. This was a story where the villain turned into the hero after the former hero's betrayal. Speaking of plot twists...
Nevertheless, it was a fight they wouldn't fight by themselves. In the end Bing was likely going to show up also, and he was a powerful warrior in his own right. Then why did she find herself so restless before the big fight? She had brought along a basket of apples, perhaps due to the presence of the crimson-colored fruit making her feel at ease. Still, right now she likely appeared quite harmless to most. Certainly, she might had been in her base form that almost reached three hundred thousand in strength if one calculated in numbers, but her power was clearly suppressed. Still, she considered it fortunate that her ascension was almost cleansed thanks to Bing's involvement and the blessing of the Holy Water. Now if only she could make certain she wouldn't risk blowing up the planet when so much energy was released all at once. Taking a deep breath the girl finally landed at the opposite side of the area the android had been sighted at, her arms wrapped tightly around the basket, and despite the fact the android looked physically a lot like Vipoi she felt a clear difference in the demeanor of her friend.
"... You have changed Robo Boy."
Her tone was soft, almost gentle even as her tail swept forwards, the stinger puncturing into one of the apples and pulling it out to suck the contents into her body. That android clearly was Vipoi, and yet he was different. His corruption was almost akin to her own, and perhaps it was for that reason she felt such regret at the thought of killing him. Was there truly no way to save him?
"Don't you think this is a slightly overused story element my dear? The hero being corrupted into the dark side while the villain redeems herself as a hero? Well, not that I mind a classic story plot. But usually it involves seduction, and last time I tried to seduce you, there was some short-circuiting action~"
She hummed playfully as the apple shriveled to leave only the skin of the fruit. She closed her eyes, a deep breath escaping her lips before she opened her eyes again, eyes narrowed a little to show she was being serious.
"Tell me. Is there anything left of my old friend in that body? Would Poi have wanted for this to happen? To see you turned into a creature hated and feared by society?"
Not that she was one to speak with the way she looked. And yet she had one more thing to say, a determined declaration.
"I would regret being forced to kill you..."
In the end if there was any way left to save Vipoi, then she would have to try it, or was there truly no way for her to save her friend? Not that Kaula would likely permit it, but she still was naive enough to pray. Her friend really was a endearing person to her, one who had sworn to help her through thick and thin, so perhaps it was now her duty to help defeat Vipoi. If he couldn't prevent himself from committing those evil deeds, then it was her duty...
"But in the end it's my duty as your friend to stop you. Then again... maybe I'm just deceiving myself with such noble words. Truth is I always been excited at the thought of fighting you seriously. Ever since we fought together at West Capitol and defeated that Supah Saiyajin I wanted to experience that power for myself. At least, if you'll not fall to the combined might of the warriors that have gathered to oppose you."
In the end there were plenty of challengers, but she also knew Vipoi had plenty of power at his disposal, so for the time being she had expected there would be a time that she and Vipoi would clash. But until then she would merely await her turn. Surely plenty of warriors would be summoned for this legendary clash. Still, to think it had to be this way... However, the sight of Kaula having actually been around had surprised her a little, to think someone had been there earlier than her...
"..."
For a moment her gaze focused on Kaula, and silently she prayed that she would be able to keep the girl safe from harm.

[Thread PL: 1,440,651 KP: 3/3] "Sir! We just recieved a broadcast from Realigner Red! He wants you and the others to go to these coordinates!"Cipher nodded. He knew today was the fateful day, the day that would determine the fate of this planet and its people. He had been flying around, in order to get a head start and head for his former boss' location. As the soldier on the other end of the communicator read out the instructions, Cipher nodded. "Very good. Inform Liang and Jarvis of this. Have them meet me there.""We've already sent out word to them. It seems Realigner Red wants them present as well."[/i] Cipher wasn't going to complain. If Vipoi wanted more opponents there to fight him, who was Cipher to object? It just meant a better chance of them defeating him and putting an end to this madness. Cipher paused to calculate just where this location was. In the Gizard Wasteland to the north. Good, he was holding this somewhere remote, where innocent people wouldn't get hurt. He remembered the last time he fought there. When he battled the Oozaru Zucar. Seems like the perfect spot to fight monsters.Without a moment's hesitation, Cipher shot off, heading in the direction of the Northern Mountains, heading towards where Realigner Red awaited. Cipher could feel the energy coursing through his body in anticipation. He didn't know what was going to happen, but he could only pray that the world would be safe by the day's end. +-----^-----+ It didn't take long before Cipher arrived at the designated lace. At least, it didn't seem long. Funny how time flew when one was rushing towards something big. His eyes fell on the arena being formed below, the twisted metal border and the black glass floor. He was surprised to see people actually working on the arena. Then again, judging by Red's insanity, he probably forced them to construct this arena for him. Talk about lazy Red.After all, didn't he also broadcast for people to bring him the Dragonballs? Instead of taking the time to find them himself? It seemed like this virus had made the android lazy as well as insane. Glancing around, he finally noticed the 'star' of this little show. It had taken him longer than usual, since he couldn't sense Red's energy, but there was the android. Even without sensing him, Cipher knew full well what this madman was capable of, the destruction he could bring if he so thought it. It was a rather frightening thought. But then, there was one big thing that detracted from it. "What in the hell is he wearing?" he murmured, noting the TV on his head. Guess he wasn't too different from Vipoi. After all, both had the ability to make themselves appear less threatening in the most ridiculous ways. It was then that he had noticed that he hadn't been the first to arrive. Kaula and Reikiko were there was well. Good to see they were following through with their deal, though he didn't expect Kaula to back out of it anyway. Slowly, he began to float over towards the pair, floating up beside Kaula. "Good to see you here," he said quietly, glancing back at Realigner Red, wary of what the demented android would try. He felt somewhat better knowing that he wasn't going into this alone. "Still think he's faking the insanity?" he gave a small, joking smile, trying to ease some of the tension.

(Power Level: 24,981. Currently suppressed due to heavy weights. Current Power Level: 6245)
Radasha was in the middle of something when Kaula contacted her. Surrounded by four Cat beings armed with cleavers, bandits, she was just calmly standing there as they demanded any valuables she had on her. She had just wanted some nice, quiet, training time. Damn felines. She began to slip into a fighting stance when her scouter beeped. Pressing a button, Kaula's voice spoke into her ear and a set of coordinates appeared on her scouter lense, with a symbol signalling that her destination was in the opposite direction of where she was facing.
"Sorry kitties, I can't play with you right now, important matters..." she said, turning her back to them and taking off into the air, the dust and debris she kicked up upon lift off blinding the bandits. Radasha left the felines and made her way to where Kaula was heading, following her scouter's directions. It wasn't long before she could sense Kaula and Rei, her scouter picking up their power levels moments later. She grinned a bit. Being able to sense energy was so useful. She didn't have to rely on this device for it now. It was mostly a fancy gps and radio now.
And also able to record things, which is what she was here for. She was also here to watch her daughter fight as well. She hoped the girl at least SURVIVED this battle. She didn't know how she'd react if Vi managed to kill Kaula....most likely poorly. As the arena for the battle came into sight, she hit a button on her scouter so it'd start recording the events, touching down some feet from the stage. She smiled a bit at the sight of Kaula. She's gotten so strong... she thought. Her scouter also picked up Vi, who she knew from an image Zucceta showed them, and an unknown fourth person. She couldn't sense them though. They were obviously putting out energy but she couldn't naturally sense them. Her scouter could read their power levels though...A Vi outclassed Kaula...But...it seemed they were doing this tournament style. This caused her to voice her mind.
"Why don't you three just take him on at once, why're you all going through with this....He's a danger is he not?" she asked. It was a logical question....It was just more of a chance for him to pull a win out. She didn't like this.

[Thread PL: 3,295,632]
---
A cough comes from the large musty library as Bing exits, pushing through the door as he stumbles out into the stairwell. His frantic eyes scan the immediate area as he ascends, following the sounds of a constant, incessant beeping not too far in the distance.
"Donna, where did I leave you?"
His shout echoed through the halls, but no response came vocally. Instead, the beeping intensified. Whatever message he was receiving must have been of grandiose importance. Bing hopped quickly from stair to stair, skipping as many flights as possible on his way up to the top floor. As he ascended, the beeping continued climbing in volume, meaning he must have left it on the surface level! He picked up the pace a bit, turning his hops into leaps and bounds.
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
"There you are!"
Bing arrived on the top level, finding Donna hanging precariously from one of the swaying trees. Bing plucked the shades from the tree, a smirk stretching across his face as he put them on.
"Taking a vacation on a tree eh? How'd you even get up there?"
The grey-haired guardian's smile shifted to a serious frown as he listened intently to the message he'd received.
"Vipoi..."
Without another word, Bing shot into the sky; heading for the frigid tournament grounds.
---
The grey-haired warrior landed on the edge of the ominous arena. His brow raised in curiosity as he looked around. The twisted metal and blackened glass served as the perfect battleground for this villains final battle. It seemed most of the Warriors he expected were already here; either conversing with Red or simply waiting for something to happen.
"Looks like I made it before the party truly started."
He stepped closer to Reikiko, giving a silent nod to both Cipher and Kaula as he approached the homunculus. She seemed to be keeping her maximum power hidden away; either because she wanted to, or because the corruption had taken hold once more. Regardless of which was reality, Bing would now respectfully towards the Daughter of the Guardian.
"Reikiko, it's good to see you showed up."
The human then turned his attention to Realigner Red, who was wearing...a television? It was jarring at first, but Bing actually kind of liked the look. He had to remember to try that out himself if he ever became terribly corrupted by some malevolent evil.
He gave a nod to the villainous robot before addressing him. "Insignificant Crap-Head eh? I would have hoped for something more unique from a guy with a super-computer for a brain."

Post by Gleciar Avierno on Aug 21, 2015 2:29:30 GMT
Gleciar had decided to rest on the final day before the battle against Vi-Poi, so as usual he went to Articho's house and decided to do nothing for most of the day. He was laying on the couch watching Vi-Poi make an ass of himself on live tv. Some of the stuff he did made him laugh... Others... Like more mocking of Namek... Just pissed him off even further.
At a certain point of the event he just got bored and went to help Articho's mom with making lunch. They where making a huge meal for everyone to make sure both Articho and himself where in peak condition when they went to battle... BUT OF COURSE Vi-Poi had to make the announcement and roll call right when they where sitting to eat. "You've got to be kidding me! Now!? Ugh..." He looked at Sasha and Articho's mother. "I'm sorry, but we gotta go..." He ran into the kitchen and grabbed a few bento boxes and crammed as much food as he could in them. "We eat as we fly!" He said as he threw a half the boxes towards Articho.
He looked at Articho's mom and Sasha. "I'll make sure he makes it, don't worry. And Sasha, dont try to follow us. Just watch the broadcast." He said before rushing to the door, looking back for a second with a small nod and flying off towards the destination.
As they flew Gleciar didn't speak, he just stuffed his face full of the food he had made. Once he finished eating he sealed the cases tight. Then started transforming into his Brute form. Lately he was doing so often that instead of taking nearly a minute to transform now it was only a few seconds. The transformation was fluid and effective now.
Once they where able to see their destination Gleciar finally spoke. "Be careful, man. We have to go all out, but we cant be reckless like last time..." He sighed and extended one hand to him. "Hand me the boxes, I'll put them in a safe place." He waited for the bento boxes to be pased to him before doing anything else.
When they where about to land Gleciar turned in a weird angle and landed near the camera guy. "Um... Excuse me." He said to get his attention. "Could you take care of these? We ate on our way here and we have nowhere to put them. Please take care of them. Thanks." He said as he put the boxes in his hands and rushed towards where everyone else was gathered.
He could see that a few people where already there. Reikiko was there, she looked different, but was recognisible. Kaula was a Super Saiyan. And there was this weird goth bat guy, who apparently was also an android. And somewhat far away he could feel another energy that was trying to hide. And a little bit before the pair appeared Bing got there too. Once every finished speaking he waved at them. "Uh... Hi guys." He said awkwardly.
He then suddenly turned to Vi-Poi and raised his voice as loud as posible. "OY! VI-POI! YOUR SO CALLED 'FLUNKIES' ARE HERE! SERIOUSLY! WHAT THE HELL MAN!? THAT'S JUST PLAIN RUDE!" Gleciar shouted towards Vi-Poi before whispering in Articho's ear. "I'm not very good with smack talk, give me a hand."

(Weights being carried in. Power level standing at 42,919 here. I'd like to keep in mind that there IS another thread going on that @jarvis, and Bing Gan are in that's still going [ Bing Gan bowed out of the thread, so his power level would be increased]. Jarvis and I, assuming Jarvis is in this, wouldn't be at 'full power level' going into this. So, for now, consider us suppressed.) Sound of what seemed to be a meteor falling, rapidly, sung in the air falling towards the gargantuan battle site, amongst the other warriors arriving. Pieter focused, trying to get a figure of what everyone was like in the area. Bing was there, and had filled him in on the situation, concerning what on Earth was happening. The hunter was, in honesty, baffled at the event! Part of his mind, when he arrived here after having a very long discussion with Jarvis and Bing about his tribe and all, resulted in the Hunter wanting to appeal to the man's reason. This... 'Re-Aligner Vi-Poi,' Pieter recalled Bing mentioned. He wasn't sure about whether Jarvis would attempt to go into this or not, as he mentioned something about his death before. The hunter landed in a plume of dust, and without a step missed, proceeded to walk forward. The others were arriving quickly. Even that girl Reikiko, had arrived on the scene, even stronger than she was before, and quite frankly, she was immensely strong in the first place! All the while, all of these other people out-classed the Hunter, save one woman that appeared as though she could be his father's sister... The thought of it made Pieter quiver in an awkward manner. Even the godly-like, golden haired woman didn't make him quiver in fear like that woman! Most of the warriors, particularly Bing, looked like they were going to gouge out the eyes of this red-haired menace! It was actually appealing to the hunter to try and reach to the reason in this mechanical being, shouting out, "Everyone, hang on for a moment! There's gotta be a reason for this recent outbreak? This 'Vi-Poi' here, and I don't want to mean offense here, has gotta be a reasonable man!"He paused for a moment, to look at Vi-Poi and ask the android, with concern, "Why do you want to summon the Great Serpent? What's the point of bringing out that beast?"Pieter knew this ritual, having heard of it being carved on the Great Pole of Korin since he was youth. He wanted to know the android's incentive behind the Great Serpent's ritual.

Bing wasn't around and for the moment the lookout was a nice little peaceful place of respite. Or had been before the strange broadcast an his communicator was already going off which he presumed was either Cipher on the other end or a soldier telling him he was supposed to be moving and quick. He needed to get to the scene. Jarvis for the time didn't answer but instead was struggling to clothe himself quickly pulling on the saiyan body suit of the sleeveless variety. As well as the BBA military styled pants he'd wear over them His combat boots following shortly after searching for his gloves. Quickly locating them under a pair of ladies undergarments. Slipping them on his hands rather quickly as he made a jet for the door. A woman covering herself with a blanket still sleeping but only just waking as he was taking off and rushing out the door. "Uh..I... I'll return to fly you down soon... Keep a eye on the TV, maybe you'll see me be hero lass. Cheers!" What a time to be late... Needless to say she wasn't amused being for the moment stuck in the room Jarvis used at times here. ----- A few moments later ripping onto the scene the blue haired warrior chuckling a bit as he came to a quick and sudden stop sliding up next Cipher throwing a arm up and likely it would smack into the mans back at a quickened speed just as he came to a stop. "Sorry I had prior engagements or I would have been here sooner. Training up for the fight y'know. So the ol Red boy's finally ready to rip shite up is he... I've had to try everything to keep the tension down ever since I got back.... I can't wait to see how this unfolds." Jarvis shot his power up and flashed in a spark of energy and flowing golden aura as his shot his hair up in glorious spiked gold locks his eyes fading from aqua to green. That smirk slithering on his face as he cheered sticking close to the android he planned to fight along side.
"Common boyo I'm ready to see the fellow fall. HOPEFULLY HE KNOWS DEATHS 'KISS' IS COMING FOR HIM! BAHAHAHAHA!" Jarvis chuckled out hoping the android would remember his little insulting attack from their little battle in the wastes prior. Jarvis popping his neck quickly and cracking his knuckles standing next to Cipher clearly all coiled up line a spring ready to fight. His eyes twitching and smiling as if he was passionately enjoying this and holding back simply attack now. Eyes burning with a aqua fire keeping his power charged and his aura burning around him. Giving Cipher only a smirk. While Jarvis's fists were shaking with excitement. If he had to sit still for too long he may have done something foolish but given his current excrement level he likely wasn't worried to much about that himself.

[PL: 89,130]
Articho had already started eating before lunch had been finished. He had the sinking feeling he would be called away to the fight before he could finish. Given the trend he had it was likely that would happen. So he ate now instead of at the last minute and having to leave before he could finish. He was glad he did, because soon enough Vi-Poi had called Gleciar and him out. Calling them flunkies was harsh. The hybrid pushed his chair back from the table, ignoring the bento boxes, and stood up. "We'll be back. I promise," he said to his mother and Sasha. He kissed his mother on the top of the head and waved to Sasha before walking out of the front door and taking off into the air with Gleciar.
Articho didn't say much as they flew. He simply stared ahead at the growing collection of power levels in the wasteland. He thought back to the time we went on a rampage in the area as an Oozaru. Times were simpler back then. No murderous robots, no death tournaments, no worrying about reaching Super Saiyan to save the world. Just the mission to find and beat his father. He wondered what his life would haven been like if he'd never been sent to train with Master Yamado. If he hadn't accidentally managed to push his mother down when he was eight, everything would have been different. If he could go back, would he do it differently?
He was pulled from his thoughts by Gleciar talking to him. He looked over at the Arcosian next to him, now in his Brute form. Articho didn't say anything, but he knew it would be enough to actually fight Vi-Poi and he hoped his friend knew that. "I wasn't reckless last time," he countered. "I didn't throw myself at Vi-Poi like I could take him. If I had, I wouldn't be flying next to you." He paused for a moment before continuing. "What we need to do is all attack him. This tournament crap is something we need to ignore. He's only doing it so he doesn't absolutely destroyed. With all the power levels over there and how high they are, Vi-Poi wouldn't last long against a combined assault."
Again, Articho ignored Gleciar's concern over the bento boxes. They could make more, so he didn't really care. He looked around at those gathered. A few familiar faces ringed the area, as did some unfamiliar ones. Bing, Jarvis, Cipher, and Kaula, he all recognized, though he was slightly irked to see Kaula as a Super Saiyan. Like he needed another person to aspire to be peers with by transforming. He pushed his personal frustration away and nodded at them all, including the people he didn't know, in greeting. Then Gleciar's poor attempt at smack talk made him groan and roll his eyes. "What happened to not being reckless?" he asked before looking up at Realigner Red in the air. Articho chuckled in amusement. Vi-Poi looked like a complete tool with the broken TV on his head. "Looks like that TV could use a tune-up," he said to Vi-Poi. "It has this weird, disgusting image right in the center of it and it keeps spewing shit out of it. Oh wait, that's just you."

The neon red-haired maniacal android waited patiently for the nod by Chutney Blaze, to let him know the broadcast had begun. He’d hacked into the government relays of King Castle – easily done with the back doors that the Old Blue Boy had left standing during his time as Special Secretary of General Affairs – and uplinked the broadcast to the major government television network. It would be beaming to television stations across the globle. At seeing Reikiko and the basket of apples, Vi-Poi smirked. “I’m afraid your old friend is dead.” He said flatly, pushing down the feeling of the imprisoned Administrator Azure’s ice burr in his Magitek heart. “Blue is out of style. Only Realigner Red remains, and I’ve come to realign all of your molecules into more interestingly chaotic compositions!”
With that he extended a flattened palm and fired a warning red ki shot at Reikiko, intended to incinerate her basket of apples and perhaps knock her backwards with the force of it. If the apples were destroyed, he’d remark with a smirk, “I’m the only red thing allowed around here.” White-crosshairs intersected in his heterochromatic eyes as he made a lock on of Reikiko, and a broken read-out from his databases warned of several abilities the Old Blue Boy had experienced. “Do not test me, you up-jumped mosquito.” He warned the chimera.
The boxy television set turned to Kaula. “Another quick-witted Super Saiyan! How many of those have I killed by now?” He asked, the television set shattering into a thousand little pieces of plastic and metal bolts as he began to walk towards the center of the darkly mirrored ring. His acute android ears picked up Cipher’s statement, and he gave the KAOS member a wink. “Your boss is dead, kid.” He said in a North Metro wise-guy accent before his ear canal widened and he suddenly pulled a cigar from it. He bit off one end, flipped it, and lit the torn roll with a snap of his fingers. “And you’re soon to join him.” Vi-Poi said with a chuckle, belching out grey smoke.
“I am utterly sane and completely rational! At least, that's what I tell myself five hundred times in the morning.” Vi-Poi declared, rising in the air to hover above Pieter and the others. “I want to see the Great Serpent so I can wish for Great Things! Is it not obvious? Must I ruin the surprise for everyone?” He took another pull of his cigar, but instead of smoke this time reversed his matter-antimatter annihilators and shot a small spout of flame from his mouth in Articho’s direction. It wouldn’t contain enough energy to wound or severely damage, but it might singe his eyebrows and make him think twice before insulting him. He shot the Arcosian a dismissive glare.
He ahemed loudly, facing down Bing and Jarvis. “Two others I distinctly remember wanting to kill.” He said, loud enough to be heard clearly on the broadcast. “Do not worry, Crap-Head, you will soon become a Crap-Heap.” He said, his laser brain brimming with bloodlust. “But first, should we not organize some ground rules? Will this be a Royal Rumble for the Crown of the King of the Universe, or will this be tournament bouts? I suggest Rock-Paper-Scissors to find who dies – I mean, fights -- first, but be warned! If you all choose to attack me instead of playing by my rules, I will not hold back.” He said before shooting a peace sign at Radasha’s recording scouter. His maximum-attuned senses could detect the little gears whirling in its video-audio capture. He then flexed a slender limb to the main broadcast camera.
“Witness what thousands of years of technological development has brought you, people of Earth! I am Death Incarnate, and I will kill entropy itself and remake the Universe into something more! I’ll drag all you billions kicking and screaming into a brighter, better future!” His head whirled like a top above his shoulders as he began to babble in binary. “011100100110010101100100!” Before it suddenly snapped to a halt. The red viral lines on his body flared dangerously, and a flickering crimson aura began to stream from his shoulders, like broken lines of code.
The small android spread out his arms and legs dramatically.
“The end has a beginning! Live from Gizard, I bring you faithful viewers, the Apocalypse, Part One!”

Kaula let out a sigh as she glanced towards Reikiko once she arrived. "We're not going to be able to fucking change him. Even if we can, it would be too much of a risk. Too much of an opening for the red thing to take and escape or destroy shit or whatever." she stated as she glanced over the newcomers. Cipher was here. That wasn't... Bad. It wasn't good, either. He was one of those 'we need to cure and change him back' types. The Saiyan Hybrid, however, was afraid he'd end up dead. "Maybe." she'd say as a hand came up to adjust her scouter, "Maybe not. As I said, never said he was prertending to act insane. Said he was pretending to act like he is infected." she muttered out with a snooty pout as she turned her head, her teal eyes returning to gaze on Vipoi.
Her mother had soon arrived, however she went to hold a hand out to her. "Mom. Go ahead and step back some. Don't want you caught in this." is all the saiyan had to say on that. It wasn't long till she noticed more power levels arriving. More voices shouting. She recognized some. Bing. That blue haired jerk face mc jerk. That one cold lizard. The other hybrid she met before. The Saiyan Hybrid turned her head, glancing at each person to scan their power levels with both the scanner she had and the fact that she could well sense their ki. Just to be doubly sure.
Of course, she frowned at the results. "He is right, you know." she called out the gleciar when he and his friend were complaining about being called flunkies. "Neither of you stand a chance if you choose to fight. You're both weak. Almost strong enough, but not quite. I mean, I could possibly help all the Saiyans here go Great Ape. But that would be very tiring and, well, I don't know if the two of you who aren't super saiyan can even control that form." the arrogant Crane student stated with a loud huff. "Now, do my teacher and I a favor. Stay out of it. The only one among you who could do much is Bing, here. But I feel like my teacher and myself will be enough. We should go first." Her eyes then glanced towards the Blue Banner Asse- Shhheeee means Authority. She didn't say much. Just glared at the other Super Saiyan for a second or two. Her eyes then returned to the frost demon and the hybrid. "But, if you two wish to face him.. I demand you both face me first. I promise you, I won't hold back. And if you can beat me, you can fight Vipoi."
Well, she was certainly arrogant. She didn't seem to care that Vipoi was rambling on into some type of crazy monologue. Kaula would decide to go into her own, her scarf blowing in the wind for dramatic effect. "To those of you here. I hold nothing against you if you choose to run, well I kind of do. Especially those two I called out. A lot of you are too weak. I'm probably too weak. If you choose to fight, you will likely die. But to those of you who value courage of life.." the Saiyan Hybrid said as she turned her head to glance at the crazy, planet and city destroying robot, "I applaud you. Those who don't.. You're cowards. Should probably die anyway."
It was likely almost touching. But there was a chance it would fall on deaf ears. Or they'd just ignore the whole part about them potentially dying.
"So. Whatdya say, Reikiko. You ready to see me probably get my ass kicked in one of the first serious battles I've had in a long time, you know, while you probably do all the work or something?" the girl asked quietly with a chuckle as she turned to smile to her teacher, partner, lover, and possibly best friend. Hey, at least she was smiling. First time she's seemed to really smile in a long while. "Besides. You're the only person I really know how to fight with."
--- KP still 3/3 Called Gleciar and Articho out.

How tragic, to think that this was the type of being her best friend had been reduced to. When she heard Re-aligner Red declare that Vipoi had 'died' the action that accompanied the statement was a surprise for her. The warning shot that was fired was swift, and due to its unexpected nature hit the basket with such a force that the girl found her grip on the object loosening and moments later she was send reeling several paces backwards, her eyes widened in disbelief as the basket was incinerated, not even a single fruit having survived the ordeal. It had been impossible for her to avoid the attack while in her base form, and perhaps it would have been better if she had been able to dodge for the girl staggered forwards, raising a hand in disbelief at the burning remains of the basket.
"My apples..."
They were the most delicious apples found in the Bamboo Forest, and apple loves around the world knew they were the best specimen in the whole Western Frontiers. To see that a whole hour of harvesting that divine fruit had been wasted by the guy who she had once called her friend caused the Homunculus to start sobbing softly, before tears started to flow down her cheeks. While people were discussing about how they would challenge Vipoi, some wanting to do a combined assault, others actually liking the idea of a royal rumble where each person took their turns for a fight. But to Reikiko none of this mattered... her apples had just been killed.
"DON'T TOUCH MY APPLES!"
The girl's cry was accompanied by a sudden surge of energy that wrapped around her body in a cocoon that to some would have looked familiar, for only moments later the childish-looking creature had matured in appearance, her azure-colored eyes gazing with anger at the android while her power level had been unchained to roughly a four million and a half in strength. It was clear that she was annoyed, declaring in a colder than usual tone.
"There will be none of this 'combined assault' nonsense. If he is even as strong as Vipoi was a combined assault would just lead him to using an attack that will obliterate roughly two-third of you unless I intervene. If you want to fight him, do it in a honorable duel. Unfortunately he lacks Vipoi's intelligence, for the tomato-head sealed his fate once he attacked my precious apples."
She had planned to use them in the hope of passing some time in a pleasant way while other people challenged Vipoi, but curiously enough she heard Kaula's voice address her, causing Reikiko to blink slightly in confusion. It sounded like Kaula was happy, or rather she was smiling... Perhaps it really was natural for a Saiyan to feel excitement when faced with a serious opponent?
"Ooy Ketchup Bottle, how about we do it like this: Judging from the strength of our participants the only ones who can prove to be a serious threat are me, Bing and Kaula here. If the others are brave and foolish enough to challenge you, that's their choice but I like to include a tag-out option so that when someone is on the verge of being killed, or wants to surrender another can take their place. Surely you'd like it more to see the fallen cower in defeat after you bested them. In the end there are only a few ways a corpse can become entertaining."
Of course the last part was spoken to trick the android into accepting her request, while she knew Kaula was powerful, her strength likely couldn't surpass Vipoi's and all things considered? If she died in this battle simply because she was too excited to go first then that was a thing Reikiko wouldn't be able to forgive.
"Well, I don't mind joining forces with you my dear. Albeit would it be wise for us to go first? Perhaps we should let Bing have his chance at vengeance first."
Not to mention, she would be able to observe the android's attack patterns and strategies before things got messy. Then again... Would this form of hers be enough to beat him? Or would an ascension be required for her to be able to match Vipoi's strength? She finally decided to flop down on a rock between Bing and Kaula, a longing look being made at the scorched basket and the burnt apples.
"My apples... With my apples gone I'm surely going to be bored. It's almost bad enough that I wonder if Earth is still worth saving, if not for the fact there are more apple trees in the Bamboo Forest."
Still, Vipoi's words caused Reikiko to chuckle softly, stretching her arms into the air while her tail coiled up around her. To think he had fallen this much, the virus really had done its number against him, didn't it?
"You're awfully ironic Sour Apple-kun, for one who used to tell me that there aren't any gods you're sounding like you developed quite a deity complex yourself during my vacation on Vegeta."
Still, it was good that Hikari didn't see him like this. For the girl it would likely have broken her emotionally to see her boss and a person she had admired for so long to have been reduced to this. Nevertheless, someone was going to need to squeeze the life out of Vipoi, and whether it would be her or Kaula was something that remained to be seen. Maybe Bing even had a super special transformation hidden? Only time would tell.
"But I won't hand over my father's dragon balls to the fiend you have become. So unfortunately the only solution left seems to be to send you to the scrap pile after running some Virus Busters on you. Hopefully the repair bill won't be too high... But ah well, it isn't like the Blue Banner Army is without funding. Surely we won't need to worry about the consequences."
For a second her gaze turned back to another person in the crowd, Cipher who she addressed briefly.
"I hope your family is doing well Cipher. I'd prefer to avoid seeing you get involved in a battle that could kill you. In the end despite what one might say about duty, your family is more precious. So don't do anything reckless."

Cipher's eyes narrowed as Realigner Red spoke to him. If he was going to die here, he was going to make sure that he dragged Realigner Red down with him. And last he checked, virus' didn't go to the afterlife. He knew his commanding officer was still in there, but seeing him like this, it looked more like it was going to be a mercy killing than anything. Surely Vipoi would rather be destroyed than stay as this psychopathic robochild.
He watched as Red took a sudden shot at Reikiko, destroying her apple basket. That...was a very stupid move. Cipher knew full well you did NOT press the apple button. That was one of the few constant rules in this world. Don't touch Cipher's family, don't call Saiyans monkeys, and don't mess with Reikiko's apples. He was sure there were more rules, but he couldn't think of them right now. He was surprised though when Reikiko suddenly transformed, feeling her power level almost reach up to Red's. No doubt Red was feeling this power too, and would start getting second thoughts about this little tournament stunt. Seeing the maniac afraid would make Cipher almost giddy.
That may have been why Cipher spoke up after Red gave his little speech. "Yes, one thousand years of technological development, and we have a glitched out android." Cipher really wasn't one to smack talk, but now seemed to be a special occasion. "You'd probably wish for something stupid from the Dragon Balls anyway. What is it? You wanted to be tall? Wanted to be an identifiable gender? Oh, I think I've got it. You want to be able to pull off some actually impressive fighting poses." Ok, so maybe not all of that frustration had been directed at Red. But could you really blame Cipher? Idiotic fighting poses aside, Vipoi's constant digging into the Red Ribbon Army had caused him to go insane, causing him to destroy a planet, a capitol city, kill millions of people, and leave Cipher to clean up his mess. Cipher was entitled to be snarky right now!
He glanced over at Kaula as she offered to go first. Girl seemed almost giddy about it. He nodded in agreement with Reikiko's words. No sense in throwing your life away for no reason. Cipher would be ready to jump in if she needed the help, even if it was just to get her out of there. Despite their previous encounter, Cipher still considered the Saiyan hybrid his friend. Besides, ensuring people's safety was supposed to be his job.
He was a little surprised when Reikiko addressed him directly, asking about his family and warning him not to do anything stupid. The android nodded. "they're doing alright. I really should introduce you to my daughter sometime. I think you'll like her." he gave a small smile before his face went somber again. "I'll do my best to avoid dying. It's just, I've been unable to do anything for so long..." he looked out into space. "If I had been able to, would I have been able to save the people of the Northern Capitol? Would my presence have made a difference on Avalon? Maybe if I had been there, Hikari wouldn't be lying in a hospital bed right now."
His face hardened with determination. "I'm not under any delusions that i'll be the one to kill Realigner Red. But if I could at least help, I can get some peace with myself." his eyes flashed for a moment, almost like a testament to the truth of that statement.

I can't pretend like I didn't know this day was going to come. After that day...we drifted apart, you and I.The worst part is that you can't even help it. You're aware in there.I saw it for myself.I felt it in your restraint.
I heard your voice so clear, like you were right there with me.My only hope and prayer is that somehow...I can help to bring you peace, freeing you from your cage. The broadcast was ominous, but expected. Vi-Po-...no. Realigner Red, appeared on the monitor of the television set in the dojo. Old and outdated as it was and requiring plenty of brute force to receive picture properly, Liang had sat sleepless for nearly a day, staring into a blank space. In truth he sat deeply in prayer, one of the only times in his life he had done so, and the only one so genuine. As soon as the crimson-haired android appeared on the monitor, the nails of his clenched hands dug into his palms, almost hard enough to draw a trickle of blood from each. He leaned forward, his eyes wide. Every word left him trailing and hanging; his mind was much more like a void than a crystal. He couldn't think. He began to sweat. He began to shake. His breathing increased in pace, and he grasped the roll of combat tape near his person and got to work as he listened to the broadcast. He unraveled long portions and began wrapping his limbs, dressed in a martial arts outfit consisting of black cloth pants, a white sleeveless gi top, barefoot and glove-less. A thin rope belt clinched his waist. The obviously terrified reporter raffled off names, the Earth's few and mightiest. This was like a game to him now. He was calling any he had met who could challenge his tyranny to one final meeting place. Taking a hard gulp and re-posturing himself, he finally finished taping his arms and legs; from the knuckles back to the elbows, and from the bottom of his toes up to below his kneecaps. Remembering their last exchange that landed him in the hospital for a month, memories flashed through his head like a bullet train. His body moved all on its own, stepping over to the Satya Yuga. Grasping it tightly in his palm for a few moments, he looked to the open sky after walking outside. Heaving a sigh as the wind picked up around him, battering his clothes and ruffling his hair, it calmed suddenly and surely like a warm caress. Master...
Guide me. Taking one last look at the half-functional dojo he called home, he turned on a heel after a slow nod and stepped through the fields, the grass brushing at the exposed skin of his feet. Tucking the Satya Yuga into his rope belt, he withdrew a small tie from his pocket and lifted it to the back of his head, tying his hair into a sloppy and messy short tail, bangs aplenty. Slowly floating into the air, he kept the directions clear in his head. His clear-white aura blazed up around him, and he blasted off for his destination; Vi-Poi's battle grounds. The trip there seemed to fly by in flashes, pictures of memory. He couldn't focus on anything else but the guilt he was feeling, and the happier memories he spent with Vi-Poi. He remembered when they first met, even; Liang, a wandering martial artist with no direction, much like a leaf on the wind. Vi-Poi had posed as a mercenary but was inspecting and evaluating him all along. He saw potential in the Tiger, potential he never would have realized without Vi-Poi at his side. He gave him direction, purpose; he gave him the will and drive to be greater than he ever could have been alone. But more than that, he was a friend. Not only ''a'' friend, but ''the'' friend. His best friend. He considered him as close as a brother, even if Vi-Poi had never thought the same. Before he knew it, he hovered over the site of the upcoming battle, floating down gently to land next to Cipher. Folding his arms and resting his weight on his rear leg, he leaned back with eyes as fierce as fire. It seemed the time for introductions had already passed, but when it all came down to it, he would speak to Vi-Poi through combat. If he was still in there somewhere, the roar of battle would tell him all he needed to say. He began to look a bit choked up as he looked on what his Administrator had become. With a hard swallow, the slight glisten of his eyes went with it. Due to his time in the hospital, he knew he hadn't improved enough to make much more of a difference than before... Yet he was still here.
