The Saiyans Are At The Gates[DE -Kanassa Conquering-]

Icarus drew in heavy breath and in his own way could sense Mayze's truth in his words of also respecting the warrior. It was a sobering thought for the arcosian they'd defeated. One of the few that had been brave enough to face them while so many were fleeing. Even if that was the goal in the strategy to snap the enemies spine and force them into a hasty retreat. It was still only proper to give respect to the one that stood in the face of death for what he believed in and where his duties lay. Icarus's conversation with the one known as Taiga would stick with him for a time. Some little part of him hoping the man could one day forgive him for this. Perhaps understand why this was a needed move to stop further blood shed if the strategy worked. One act of great savagery to stop the war from continuing and countless others as well as possible more planets falling. Better to find peace within destruction then the destruction never end. 

Icarus was silent for a few moments eyeing the crater not really sure how to answer Mayze's questions one what he was. It was a dangerous subject even if the queen knew herself he often worried what others would think of it. He already knew a few knew and whispers probably still gathered around him. It wasn't like he hid the fact he wasn't a saiyan well. Some little parts of his programs always let other Tuffle like traits bleed through at times. It was only natural given that's who was before... the past. "Sometimes I don't really know the answer to that anymore... A tuffle perhaps or a battle android. Maybe I am a saiyan given what all has changed. Maybe I'm just... Heh Icarus." He'd say simply enough his black eyes taking one last moment to look over this planet scanning it for its weak points as well as to record its natural elegance and beauty. He would make sure it was not forgotten for its sacrifice that was needed to quell at least for a time some of this empire. "I know... Likely this war continue time and time again in small ways. Small hold outs and bastions of forces from various areas of the galaxy who won't wish this long standing power to fall. But at least with a action like this the weaker of those forces will hopefully be forced to see they have no place but death for opposing us. An act like this could save lives ironically." He had that somber look as if some of what they had to do weighed on him. But spoke in calculation and well proper manner as if it was all strategy. He was a android of science and proper planning. To do things right and even in his most sporadic moments usually had a undertone of focused calculation to him. He'd keep his scanner as well on the warrior making sure to keep a proper calculation of the power level the man was charging. 

The planet would not last long once the hole was made and Icarus shortly after detonated the core. Mayze had the tougher job of breaking through most the planet and getting to the core. Icarus knew just the right ki calibration to set the core off as well. There would be no dead planet or bits remaining only asteroids of lifeless space rock left to wonder this area of spice for the rest of time. "History is written by the victors and the survivors. With this empire falling I imagine Saiyan history will the one that stands most known from this war. As you can imagine given my... Given the race I used to be acquainted with in a past life. I know for a fact history favors the ones who gain victory of those lost to the great battles of the past. Many will still hate us yes. But the Saiyan history books will tell of us as heroes at least in this war. The greatest war for the Saiyan empire. To finally bring down their long standing foes and once oppressing arcosians." He'd close his eyes and silently within his mind link with not far off vessel. His chimera ship within moments whipping through the atmosphere and upon them as if out of nowhere. Its engines heavily upgraded the ship virtually  comfortable lab and training vessel small but could comfortable take care of at least three people with full room and board. Icarus did believe in flying and traveling comfortably after all. 

"The Chimera... She will take us back to Arcose where I can leave you once this is done... We'll need it to get away. After you make the hole the detonation will be almost immediate once I detonate the core. We'll have just enough time to begone from the atmosphere before this planet erupts in fire and implodes. The connecting stations won't be fast enough. We'll have to use the Chimera to actually get away in time. I'd prefer for this 'legend' to not also end with us dying for our glory after." He'd say as if throwing a dark jest towards Mayze. He'd be running several inner scans on his body needing to put some of his functions into cool down but would hold it off a bit longer. He'd need the energy and his reactors in full drive for his part. He hadn't the power of this warrior and would need to  be precise in his movement. "I will need to return to Vegeta likely after that... Much of this needs to be recorded at least for the time it appears after this at least the man part of the vanguard and the queens roll will be completed. Once her prized tree has completed its task. Are you nearly ready?" He'd say eyeing Mayze and for a moment taking several moments to get a bead on his power and how much longer this may take. What they were about to do was the kinda thing that even as a android sent chills down his spine. It would be likely something they'd never forget and carry with them for the rest of their existence. An as a android Icarus knew that could be a long time....

Summoned ship for future evac

Mayze was within the ship and the hole formed and the moment was at hand Icarus's finger pointing forward towards the hot earth and the heat and power his scanners going haywire picking up. The energy of a planets core its very life deep under the crust something amazing and beautiful his scouter recording it for a moment as a moment of wonder took him at this blindingly beautiful looking thing. The source of life within a planet. Almost as beautiful as its destruction would be in a poetic horrific way. Icarus for a moment hovering over it placing a single hand down facing it a finger pointed towards the ground as a light energy of ki formed at the tip of his finger. While for others it would have seemed a bottomless pit to him his scanners saw just fin the core and could feel the perfect figuration of ki he'd need to send into it to send it into a meltdown of sorts. A quickened end to this planet and hopefully to the bulk of this war. A act of great tragedy to end more blood shed. He'd oped this would be worth it in the end as he planed. 

Icarus took aim and as if feeling a rush through his systems that he imagined was how saiyans felt upon victory days or his queen when conquering her long standing arcosian enemy. Even his android feelings weren't beyond being effected by the rush and high one could gain from power and holding death and life within ones hand like a god. This was how it ended not with a roar but a whimper as it fired like a thin laser of little notice roaring down through the air an fading into the dark as it sank into the core. Just around the time Icarus would enter the ship and began making his way to close the door. The ship angling toward space above and back for Arcose as it sealed back in the air. "Time to get you back to Arcose my friend... Then I return home for repaires... This has worn my body down. An I have things to adjust within me." Speaking of the arcosian tech he'd lifted. Around the time the ship was leaving orbit would likely be when the ships cameras would observe the explosion. The destruction of Kanassa in a fire blast of rock and fire. 

The explosion of the planet likely being seen at Arcose and several other planets far off in the galaxy. The asteroid field that would be left would possibly become a danger to other acrosian war ships leaving the area. A reminder of why war is a bad idea against this empire. Hopefully saving lives through intimidation as he hoped rather then needing to take more. Icarus trying to push back the emotions he had for what they'd just did. For now Taiga was at rest honorable and he and mayze had won their honor and place in this war. The Queen surely would see them as warriors she could count on. He desired greatly her... notice. For now it was time to get Mayze back then return home.

Escaping Kanassa via Chimera ship

Icarus heard the message and rolled his eyes lightly a little surprised at her mentioning of prime real estate. As she called it surprise as in given all these planets she destroyed the most noticed and central point capital first with her tree he could see that was tearing out the worlds core when he scanned it. His queen was clever but he wondered if she truly knew the value of a planet beyond what materials it may have held within is core given this one hardly seemed anything special at that. But such was her desire so Icarus would not argue the matter. Perhaps his plan to defuse further war wouldn't have been desired anyway. Most this warriors in the vanguard desired to see their own power and status rise as was anyway in times like these. 

It was with a sigh they'd let the core settle leaving only a pit within the planet. A dangerous hole that with time might mend itself. A scar to at least remind the world they were hear. But as for its destruction just simply was not to be this day. He'd let his queen reside herself to her fruits and her plans. She did seem the kind to have a second agenda hidden away in her mind only she knew after all. Perhaps it was part of her plans the grand scheme of things as they say. But for now the saiyans had been to the gates and torn them down with asunder. Wyntre was dead... and her armies in shambles. This was victory.
