"YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!" He screamed at the console. Alex had woken up right as the ship was re-entering orbit. He couldn't see outside the cabin, but knew he was re-entering do to the violent shaking of the ship. He began pushing buttons at random to no effect. The ship began to change shape for landing, becoming a cube once again. The console went back into the ship itself, scarring Alex. He pulled his hands back and waited for the worst. with a loud crash, the ship broke through a small two story home. The pure white ship hovered in the home's destroyed living room. The ship unfolded like a paper cube reveling a human boy face down against the bottom of the ship. He wore a dirty white tank-top, blue jeans, and had no shoes. His skin tan and dirty with a difficult life. His roughly cut blonde hair moved out of the way of his eyes as he lifted his head to see two women staring at him. One was older then the other, the mother Alex assumed. He picked himself up off the ground and waved shyly. "Hello, I'm sorry for destroying your house."

Today was supposed to be a mostly relaxed day, Habana had decided it best to avoid venturing out into the wastes or into the tuffle ruins because frankly so far every time she had done so the end result had been some sort of strange encounter that left her beaten and both mentally and physically exhausted and while it was great training she frankly was really looking for a nice relaxing day and as such decided to pay a visit to an old friend of hers, Bukin, the older Saiyan had been her cell mate during Habana’s first trip to prison and had done quite a lot to help Habana adjust to life on the inside. Her sentence had been quite a bit longer than any of Habana’s but had ended two months ago about a month onto Habana’s most recent stay. While Bukin was not an excessively powerful woman she had a viciously keen mind and at least for a low-class warrior enough power to raise some hell with it.
The two had spent most of the day just relaxing and talking about old times, they had briefly done a bit of sparring but unfortunately even with her keen mind and talent for tactical combat Habana had simply grown too powerful even wither her weights for Bukin to pose much of a challenge, the older woman had not taken much offense to this simply stating that Habana was giving her something to strive for now.
Everything had been relatively peaceful up until a space pod crashed right through two stories of building collapsing through Bukin’s upstairs neighbor’s house and right into her living room annihilating everything in its path before slowly opening itself to reveal a distinctly non-saiyan young man looking a bit out of sorts as he lifted himself up from the pod and waved at them apologizing for the damage to the house. Bukin just sat there in stunned silence her eyes moving from the young man, to the ship, to the hole in her ceiling then to the hole in her neighbors ceiling.
Habana however lifted herself from her chair “What… the hell, do you not know what the fuck a space port is!? ARE YOU EVEN OLD ENOUGH TO FLY THAT THING!?” Habana shouted quickly realizing as she looked him over that the boy was just that, a boy, younger even than Aspa and Tomo. “You better start explaining why you just crashed a ship through my friend’s house before I start kicking your ass kid.” Habana demanded with a glare not too pleased that even here within civilization she could apparently not escape strange encounters.

Alex sunk his head in between his shoulders, looking up at the young woman screaming at him. He thought to himself 'I didn't mean to do it. I'm so stupid, I should have just left it alone. Now the first person I've met in months is screaming at me because I was stupid.' As she was screaming, tear began to fill his eye from fear and disappointment in himself. Then he heard her ask, “You better start explaining why you just crashed a ship through my friend’s house before I start kicking your ass kid.” His eyes went wide at the statement, fear and nervousness began to wreak him. He began quickly speaking, his voice shaky and scratchy through out, "I was at my cave in the forest, when I heard a noise in the back! So went to check it out. When I got back there there was a weird, cube thing that had one side open. So I stepped inside and then it closed. I stared to panic and started to bang around inside. Then it flew off and I banged my head against the back of the ship and got knocked out. When I woke up the ship was shaking, so I thought that it was landing and I started to panic again. There was a console and I started to press buttons and it didn't seem to do anything so I then I just curled into a ball and hoped not to die then I crashed int your friends house and, and I'M SO SORRY!" He put his face in his hands and began to cry intensely, seeing himself as a failure for not being able to do anything.

Habana groaned as the young human’s eyes began to well up with tears shortly before he launched into his lengthy explanation of his present situation, she had not meant to come off TOO harshly but of course her temper usually got the better of her and the frustration of both Bukin’s house being damaged and her rather pleasant day being interrupted certainly had not helped Habana keep her cool. Pinching the bridge of her nose Habana listened to the boy speak and frankly the whole story sounded a bit weird but ultimately with how old the ship looked and how young the boy was it did not seem like an impossible scenario, the boy had stumbled upon some lost attack pod and being a dumb kid probably pushed something while climbing into the ship triggering its return procedures.
“Alright kid calm down, quit crying already” Habana said slightly exasperated by the situation already “Bukin please tell me you’ve got… some sort of insurance? Anything?” Habana questioned hopefully receiving a slow nod from her friend who still appeared to be in a state of complete shock but was thankfully still capable of responding “Alright good, I’m gonna help this kid figure his shit out, once you snap out of it you should probably make calls.” Habana said crouching down slightly to get at eye level with her friend in order to make sure that Bukin was actually paying attention to what she was saying, from what she could tell the older Saiyan had understood and with any luck would just need a few more minutes before she would be back to normal.
Which means Habana needed to get the kid out of here, Bukin and Habana got along quite well because they were rather similar in many ways and a hair trigger temper was a trait they both possessed, so long as Bukin was stuck in stunned silence they were basically fine but once she came to Habana could guarantee she would be PISSED, with any luck she’d take that anger out on the insurance people and set a fire under the people who would be repairing her home. With Bukin handled Habana stomped over to the kid and moved to grab hold of his arm and begin guiding him out of the house. “Lets go, you’ve got a few minutes before she realizes she can start punching you for breaking her house and I’d like to avoid that right now and I imagine you would like to avoid it as well” Habana said with a sigh, the kid was… strong, far stronger than his rather excessively emotional response would have indicated to Habana at first, he was a bit weaker than she was without her weights but roughly twice as strong as she had been not too long ago.
Assuming the boy made no efforts to hinder Habana guiding him out of the house she would lead him out, and start walking him down the block “So kid you’re a human right? Do you have a name?” Habana would question him not particularly fond of just calling him ‘kid’ in spite of his power everything about the boy mostly seemed pure-human though there was a chance he was some sort of hybrid though with what she could not exactly tell if anything. There were however many races in the universe that bore a striking resemblance to humanity which often made figuring out what someone was a touch difficult and usually a rather touchy subject, thankfully Habana was not once to care much about skirting around a touchy subject like this which made figuring things out MUCH easier.

Alex began wiping the tears away from his eyes when she grabbed him. He blushed a little as this was the first time any girl had touched him beside his mom. He gain thinking about his mom, how nice she was, how great her cooking was,... how she was dead because of him. Tears began to well up in his eyes again, but he was able to stop himself now that he had someone to help him calm down. Forceful as she was, Alex could see the good in her. He always saw the good in everyone. He didn't know why he was like that but didn't care to know either. The woman pulled him outside with no struggle. He was hoping to ask here some questions as well. “So kid you’re a human right? Do you have a name?” He responded immediately, "Yes," He said still wiping some of the tears from his eyes. "I'm human, my name is Alex, nice to meet you. I'm sorry about crying earlier, I was just really stressed out. I mean, I'm sure you would be stressed too if you found a space ship, got knocked unconscious, had a horrible nightmare, woke up to find yourself re-entering a strange planets atmosphere, crash land, then find out you destroyed someone's home. By the way, what planet is this?"

“Yeah yeah you dont have to apologize, I told you to stop mostly because the sound of crying is annoying. Personally when I get stressed I usually just start hitting things… and people… usually people more than things since it usually ends up being people who are causing the stress” Habana says with a sigh of annoyance though it was clear at this point her annoyance was less directly tied to the young man and more to old memories associated with the stress she mentioned. Eyes darting around Habana sought out a good place to actually stop at, the Radditsu District was probably not the best place for a lost young human, it was mostly comprised of Low-Class warriors and the poorer Mid-Class, the problem was of course that Saiyans were a very insular people, they did not take especially kindly to non-saiyans unless they knew them quite well. Habana had long since learned to abandon a lot of that notion through the pure fact that she was not wholely saiyan and simply could not afford to isolate herself that much, to reject non-saiyans while also being rejected by saiyans was a rather poor way to live.
Truth be told she was actually rather unsure why she was helping the kid, she was not overly fond of humans, she usually liked to rationalize her distaste for the species by the notion that by and large humanity was a weak species that mostly relied on technology to stay current in the universe but if she was REALLY honest with herself it was because of her own human blood, she hated that it was that alone that caused so many of her people and her own family to reject her as not worthy of being called a saiyan. As such Habana was usually quite testy with Humans, her initial reaction to the boy had partially been fueled by that but perhaps it was his youth and quickness to fall to tears that had left her unable to lash out at him further.
Noting a mostly empty fast food joint she recognized Habana continued dragging Alex along dragging him into the building and pushing him into one of the booths “Stay” Habana commanded with a stern look before heading to the counter ordering two drinks so that they would be mostly left alone by the staff. Returning with the drinks Habana set one down in front of Alex and took a seat across from him “Drink, I don't know what sort of support system your ship had but usually even if its sustaining thirst and hunger you’ll tend to develop a thirst after a decently long trip and the trip from Earth to here is not a particularly short one. As for where you are, you are on Planet Vegeta, Saiyan home world” Habana said clarifying for the young man what Vegeta was on the off chance he was unaware “Which is another reason why crying is a bad idea, most saiyans see it as a sign of weakness so avoid that ‘cause looking weak is basically step one to getting your ass kicked.” Habana explained with a brief sigh, though as she thought of it Alex would likely be able to put up a rather good fight against really anyone in the Radditsu District and even a fair number of those in Cacumber.

He laughed slightly at the "People more than things since it usually ends up being people who are causing the stress." statement. He wasn't sure weather it was intentional or not, but he thought it was funny. He got a strange feeling from the woman, something of resentful help. It wasn't a nice feeling mind you, but he would rather have angry help than no help at all in this situation. He hoped to remove that feeling and that they would become friends, but it was most likely not going to happen. Most races held at least some resentment toward humans for their natural weakness, and as far as he could tell she was a pure blooded saiyan. It mystery to him why she was helping at all, but he wasn't going to question it. He continued to let himself be dragged by the strong half-saiyan woman. He was going to let himself be dragged along as long as she would drag him. His time in his forest home had made him forget most of the rules of relationships, allowing him to enjoy holding her hand without any of the awkwardness that normally came with hand holding. He was mostly happy to have another sentient being make physically contact him in a non-violent way. When they came to the diner, he looked at the place with a mix of worry and happiness, worry because he hadn't been in a restaurant for a LONG time and happiness for the same reason. He made an "Omph" sound when he hit the seat. He complied with orders and stayed still. He looked around the diner, seeing the people were all saiyans, he quickly guessed which planet he was on, then was quickly proved right. He sighed a little and took a drink of soda. It was a nice change of pace compared to river water he knew that. After an awkwardly long silence Alex spoke up, "So, um, whats your name? You never told me."

Habana was quite glad that the boy was being compliant with her orders and her dragging thus far, with most saiyans it was rather difficult to boss someone around unless they genuinely believed you to be significantly enough above them for it to be not in their best interests to not listen to your orders, she was, roughly speaking assuming she removed her weights fairly even with Alex and in spite of this he pretty much did whatever she ordered at least so far. Perhaps he did not realize that he was not completely outmatched? Saiyans were the great warriors of the universe, renown for strength and prowess on the battlefield. Even reasonably powerful non-saiyans knew that a saiyan was not one to be crossed unless they knew they held a significant advantage. Was this kid even a fighter? He certainly looked fit for a kid but his demeanor was rather distant from that of a trained warrior.
Taking a sip from her drink Habana watched the boy curious to see what he thought of his current situation now that he knew just a bit more, he seemed to be taking it well enough, perhaps between the walk from the house to here he had managed to puzzle it out for himself where he was, pure saiyans were fairly easy to pick out in a crowd and the Radditsu District was home to many low-class pure saiyans and a not insignificant amount of hybrids capable of passing themselves off as pure. Habana raised an eyebrow at his question, she had not even realized she’d not given him her name but then again she had been rather focused on the task of getting him somewhere far enough away from Bukin to be considered safe.
“Habana.” She answered seeing no particular reason not to give her name “So now that you’re here what are you going to do? You said your ship was old and that might mean it was a one-shot pod, if that’s the case that means you’re a bit stuck.” Habana asked curious as to what Alex would actually do if he was stuck on a foreign planet, he did not exactly look like he came from a well off family so while a pickup was posible it was also just as likely that he might have no way to get off planet. “Not sure how much you know about saiyans but generally speaking non-saiyans don’t receive the best treatment, the Radditsu District, which is where we are, can be a bit hit or miss but the Capital can be a -really- big problem if you don't even have a drop of saiyan blood, they are a bit more pleasant with merchants, dignitaries, and Mercenaries but thats usually just with Saiyans who are more directly involved with them.”

He sighed at what Habana said, if he was stuck on this planet he didn't know what he would do. "I don't know, I mean, if most Saiyans are as... species-est? as you say they are then I don't know. I haven't been apart of normal society for more than two years and the fact that I'm also on an alien planet doesn't make it any easier..." He gained a look of thought before speaking once again. "I really only have two options right now, either go back to living in the wilderness," he hesitated to say the other option to her. She seemed nice, but he didn't know how she would react to the other option. He hesitantly finished his statement, "or I could live with you." He felt, and looked, awkward after finishing the sentence. Although Alex had forgotten most of the rules of society, he simply felt bad asking someone he just met if he could move in with them. He felt like he was begging her to move in. He took a drink of his soda and after a few awkward moments he spoke again, "If you don't or cant that's fine, I just, I mean, I did some... stuff, on earth, and I this is a fresh start for me and I want to get back into society. And please don't ask about the stuff, I'd rather not talk about it. So please let me stay with you, I'll do whatever you need me to do."

“I mean there are probably as many who would have a problem with you as there are Saiyans who wont, its not like literally everyone is going to hate your guts for being Human its just... well you wont be treated the same, even the Saiyans who dont outright dislike Humans usually dont have a great concept of what Humans are like so they mostly just understand that Humans are -usually- really weak so they might not expect you to be particularly capable so getting a job, if you stayed, could be a bit hard.” Habana explained not wanting him to think that literally everyone would hate his guts, there were a fair number of indifferent Saiyans and even some who looked down on Humans did not do so with genuine malice just mostly pity, which to some, such as Habana was almost WORSE than outright distaste.
“But I mean you wont exactly have a lot of problems showing people that you're not just some weakling, with how much power you've got you'd have a lot more options than an average human would” Habana said with a shrug, she was sort of curious about the whole being removed from society thing, as far as she knew that was not a particularly common earth practice to exile its people so that meant it was probably a sort of self imposed exile, she was about to question about the nature of his removal from society when he started listing his options.
The first was a pretty shit option, going back to Earth and living in the wilds was just a really REALLY shitty idea and the fact that he considered that his first and almost primary option was more than a little confusing to Habana, her confusion was swiftly replaced with a bit of shock and MORE confusion as he stated what he believed to be his second option. Staying with her. “Er.. I... “ Habana was unsure how to respond, the boy was young even by saiyan standards, by now he should still have been in training though with the amount of power he had there was a very good likelihood that he might have advanced faster than average and been out of training and either looking for work or in the military by now.
“I'm generally not in the habit of having strangers move into my home. But you don't seem like a bad kid and you're situation sounds pretty shit overall, It wouldn't feel right just leaving you to fend for yourself on Vegeta, even with as much power as you've got our wilderness is a bit more harsh than Earth's. I don't really have a place of my own right now, I'm staying with family, my mother, so I can see if she feels the same way, it wouldn't be anything permanent though, just a chance for you to get your shit straight and figure out what you need to do. My mother is of the sort of saiyan who does not have any major problems with Humans so you're in luck on that end” Habana said knowing that to be perhaps part of the biggest understatement of the year considering what her father was.
“Word of warning though, shes literally a drill Sargent and works with young saiyan trainees regularly so there is a very decent chance she might try to 'whip you into shape' if you do end up sticking around.“ Habana said doing her best impression of her mothers voice, a slightly sharper and more commanding version of her own voice for the most part.

"Oh gosh, thank you so much! I'm so-" He realized he was being a spaz and calmed down a bit. He spoke loudly enough for people in the diner to stare at their table. Alex got awkward as they stared, he looked at his soda and popped his neck. There was a hope that they would avert their eyes quickly, but that was shattered almost instantly. A saiyan man stood up and shouted, "Hey bitch!" and started to walk toward the table. A small group of other saiyans walked with him most of them also males. Habana would easily recognize the man as someone he had previously attacked. Not her latest victim, he had learned to stay away from her, this was someone she lost against. "You remember me? You attacked me because I called you a "Saiyan-Human Hy-bitch", which you still are. You gave me a scar, you slut!" He pointed to his left check which held a fairly obvious claw mark shaped scar parallel to his mouth. "And now that I found you I can pay you back..." He said the last part through gritted teeth to sound more intimidating. Alex watched the scene in anger, he hated to see someone who was willing to take him in even though he was almost a complete stranger. He wanted to punch the guy right in the face but didn't know the consequences of what would happen if he did he had to watch and do nothing as he screamed at her.

Habana waved off Alex's thank you and did her best to try and quiet the excitable young human down, honestly the last thing she wanted was to draw too much attention to there booth right now, of course Alex's excited and slightly spastic cheering did exactly that very briefly drawing the FULL attention of everyone present earning a slightly frustrated sigh from Habana, with luck now that Alex was calming himself down everyone would just return to what they were doing and Habana would not need to fix anyone with her glare, the possibility of that happen was of course swiftly shattered as someone spoke up, rather than addressing Alex though it was clear from where he was looking that the saiyan in question was focused entirely on her. Habana let out a low groan of annoyance as she turned to look at the idiot, he looked like a fairly average low-class saiyan save for the scar that marred his left cheek, something about that scar felt.. almost familiar to Habana.
When he started talking asking if she remembered him, which she did not... at all... from his tone she was fairly certain and quickly confirmed that he was an ass hat that she had beaten the shit out of once a while ago, she actually let out a small laugh vaguely sort-of recalling the fight now that he was jogging her memory. The guy had gone down FAST by the way she recalled things, the fight had happened not particularly far from her in a bar she didn't much bother with visiting any more, it had been a less than particularly interesting fight and combined with the lack of an arrest since it had happened in the Radditsu District and unless she straight up murdered him there was little anyone would do.
“Oh yeah, I gave you that and then punched you a few times and... I think kicked you in the junk? Honestly the whole thing's a bit foggy since it wasnt a particularly interesting 'fight' ” Habana said clearly amused by the memory, she put emphasis on the word fight to make it clear she barely even considered it an actual fight. “Well I guess I did you a bit of a favor there, the scar actually makes you look kinda-maybe tough..ish.” Habana said with another amused laugh briefly turning her attention to Alex who seemed to be taking this a lot worse than she was “Calm down kid he's not relevant enough for you to get mad at, hes just some chump who's always going to be a chump. Not strong enough to make mid class, not skilled enough to be important to the low-class, and certainly not smart enough to know” Habana's left eye began to burn a bit brighter as she turned back to the saiyan “When he's clearly outmatched” she said leveling the man with a viscous glare in an effort to scare him off, Habana really had no interest in fighting some idiot in a diner but if the fool DID decide to try something she would not be afraid to show him exactly how lucky he was that all he had gotten from a fight with her was that scar.

The man flinched at the intense glare. He looked at Habana for a moment before turning around. He walked to his table and set some money on the table. One of the people behind him almost said something but was quickly quieted by the man. He went toward the door and looked at Habana wordlessly for a moment before leaving the diner. Alex watched in awe as the man simply left after being glared at. He looked over at Habana, "That was awesome!" He said in a quite but excited tone. "You are one of the best people I've ever met! Your cute, your nice, your tough, your everything that every person wants to be!" He said the 'your cute' part with no blush, no awkwardness, or other typical sighs of the want of a relationship. He was purely complementing Habana for all the things he thought she was. He calmed down a little but a small grin was still on his face as he talked. "I'm happy, your going to let me live with you. I can only hope your mother will agree. And on the subject of your mother, I'll be happy she'll 'wipe me into shape'." He quoted Habana, copying the voice she made. "I would like to get stronger, I can barely fight. Maybe, she ca-" He stopped talking abruptly. He didn't know if it he should tell her that he didn't fly. Would she even want to be around him if he did? If she didn't mind the fact that he couldn't fly than he would be sure they would be good friends. He restarted his sentence, "Maybe she can make me fly. I've never been able to fly and really want too. So maybe your mom could finally make me fly? I tried for years before I stopped." The smile on his face changed, before it was one of excitement but now it was a smile of shame and disappointment. He hoped she would understand and help him. He wanted to be her friend and hoped that saying what he did wouldn't hurt the chances.

Habana kept her glare focused on the saiyan the entire time he remained in the building following him with her gaze as he walked to his table and then finally as he walked out the door the intensity of her glare momentarily increasing as he halted to give her a look before finally exiting, she had a feeling that there was a good chance this would not be the last time she would see this particular idiot, with any luck though if he ever tried anything stupid he'd have the power to actually make things interesting rather than the result simply being Habana pounding his face into unrecognizable mush. Habana was jarred from her thoughts at Alex's excited exclamation which swiftly brought her back to the present as her expression softened to an amused grin. Ready to wave off the assertion that that had been 'awesome' Habana was cut off as Alex continued.
She raised a surprised eyebrow as he listed her 'best' traits as according to him, tough was certainly one she could agree with, 'nice' was NOT something she was entirely used to being called, and 'cute' caught her a bit off guard considering how he had said it, there was none of the usual signs of it being said to get her interested in him, just a statement of what the boy thought was a fact. “It was nothing, when it comes to idiots like that they usually sort-of know they are out matched but they let pride get in the way and end up making an ass of themselves. Hes probably a bit smarter than most idiots though, a lot of guys would have still tried to start something.” Habana said with a shrug, though of course there was always a good chance that the saiyan WAS planning something and was just waiting until they departed the diner, if he was fool enough to do so however Habana was completely certain he would be easily dealt with.
Habana listened with a bit of amusement as Alex excitedly spoke of comeing to stay with her for a bit, either he genuinely liked the idea of getting some real training or the fact that he had no clue what he was in for when it came to training with Jala was becoming more and more evident. He paused briefly before continueing mentioning his hopefulness that her mother might be able to teach him how to fly, Habana's expresion faltered for a moment as it reminded her of her own inability. Alex was strong but young so perhaps it would be a possibility for him, Habana was at this point reasonably certain she was simply incapable of learning that technique, it had bothered her a lot more long ago but now it was simply an annoying reminder, with luck once she developed an alternate means of taking to the sky that would no longer even be the case.
“I cant say if she will be able to, my mother can fly, pretty well at that. But” Habana sighed “If you're anything like me there is a small chance you're not going to be able to. Nobody's sure why but I'm pretty much incapable of making my energy function in the manner it needs to in order to allow me to fly, its not something that is at all particularly common, in fact unless you happen to have the same problem I'm the only person I know of who just -cant- fly, some don't because they have shit control, some wont because they are scared of heights” Habana scoffed at that clearly displeased by the idea of someone having the power to fly but not using it “and some are just too weak to do my than short bursts, but so far I'm the only one I know of who has the power, the control, and no fear but just can't do it. With luck though all you really need is some real training, if you decide to actually stick around on Vegeta I or my mother could probably give you a hand getting citizenship.” It was not a particularly EASY task for a non-saiyan to obtain citizenship but it was certainly possible, especially someone as strong as Alex was.

To the Infamous Habana: You've gained 7,408 experience towards your total Power Level!
7,408 + 38,805 = 46,213 total Power Level! (That's pretty Hy-Bitchin')
To the Lost Alex: You've gained 2,251 experience towards your total Power Level!
2,251 + 12,577 = 14,828 total power level! (You're gonna fly high kid)
