This was it, the big boom was coming in! Vipoi's power was continually growing, rocketing to levels unheard of for ages. The winds were howling angrily, the ground shook with ferocity, storm clouds rolled in yet no rain began falling. It was as if every single element of the world was forcefully pulled here to witness the penultimate power flex its muscles. Bing noticed that just for a brief moment, Realigner Red's pulsing red veins died out. His hair also seemed to "power down" for just a moment as well as a seemingly familiar voice spoke it. The voice tried explaining something, but was quickly silenced by Red's rage. His hair flickered back to red, and so too did his vein-like wiring that showed through his synth-flesh.
Bing watched as the fearsome power expanded outwards. It was slowed immensely by the combined power of everyone who attacked, but Red's rage could not be quelled so easily it seemed. The explosive wave was still moving forward, though slightly weakened. It was going to kill everyone who wasn't in Zexama's barrier, and if he didn't act now that would mean him! He gave a quick look, and saw a few warriors had already begun heading towards the majin girl. Using all his might, he raced towards the barrier. His ghostly aura left a trail of cloudy white as he forced almost too much energy into going as quick as possible. "Come on, you can make it...you can make it!" he shouted to himself internally.
With what felt like no time to spare, Bing had made it into the barrier's protective zone. If he had to guess, they should be at least alive after the explosive energy passed by, if not horribly damaged after. He could do nothing but wait now, hopefully the barrier worked properly, but if it didn't...well, he didn't want to think about that.
Bing noticed a faint ki signature coming in from a few different angles. It felt like..."Komoto!" That's certainly who it was! Five different energy blasts were coming in to hit the barrier. This was no good! He wanted to move to destroy them, but could he really risk leaving the barrier right now? He sadly had to decide against it, and hope that the attacks wouldn't dent the barrier too much.
What could he do now? He felt so useless being forced to sit in this barrier to survive! If he were stronger he could probably beat the attack back on its own, but sadly he wasn't even close to that power...
(Kinda boring, but not much to do but wait till next turn! I'm in the barrier with Zexama now, so y'know that's a thing.)

First, a green light. Then, a sensation of sharp horrible burning. It occurred to Benetto that this might be his back as he hurtled through the air, briefly becoming what might be the last neon light in the city for some time. At these speeds, there was no thought. Benetto's brain just couldn't move fast enough to comprehend the speed he was moving at. As he approached the floating red figure, he heard a noise, then a flicker of blue, then impact.
Benetto's body hit the android on his side with a earth-cracking noise. The off-center hit meant that not all of the move landed, but that didn't matter, raw damage wasn't what he was looking for. The best Benetto could do in that regard was annoy Red, and he knew it. Rather, as he slipped by, Benetto made one grab for Captain Nova as he passed. At these speeds, holding on to Realigner Red would be difficult, but then again, at these speeds, grabbing somebody at all would prove rather difficult. Benetto sped past. A flicker of red. Heat. And then nothingness. Only one brief, fleeting thought, one that pervaded all other senses remained before total oblivion:
(I'm sorry, Sasha.)
[Benetto Giri has died. If Captain Nova went with me, he's likely dead also. Consider my PL to be 0, don't worry about spreading the ashes, I think Vi's attack has done that rather nicely already. Hopefully, I'll be viewing the conclusion from the afterlife.]

Sasha could see the attack coming, and could see the shield in mid-air. She could not see her brother anywhere, though, and could not sense his ki either... but she didn't have time to worry about that. She did have a promise to keep, that she would stay safe. Not that anywhere in this city seemed to be safe, but she could do her utmost to keep that promise to her favourite big brother. She would not let herself think about the probable implications of Benetto's ki seeming to have vanished, and she would find Articho and hopefully get behind that barrier in time to keep from being atomized, since she could not fly herself. She glanced at said shield and spotted him behind it, then ran underneath him and yelled as loud as she could, "Hey, Articho, I need some help, please!" Once she caught his attention, she would jump as high as she could and trust him to catch her and get her behind the barrier in time to avoid being reduced to a cloud of fine blue mist.

This was it.
Zexama’s eyes started flickering. She couldn’t keep this barrier up much longer, she was being drained of her all her Ki. Her life, draining into a small little ball, was it worth it? Would she even be able to do enough damage after the defending the attack…? Yes. She would, she didn’t have a single choice other than this one. She would have to do this, if she didn’t do this, she would gladly die. Dying is better than facing the entire earth as a coward. Then something else happened. Something she wish did not happen right now, now of any.
In a loud speaker that would be heard by everyone around her, the message from Wyntre played on her scouter. ”Message from Empress Wyntre: Arcose is being attack by the Saiyans, all assistance is required. The message has been translated to fit the time period.”[/b] Zexama shook her head over and over as the bad news swarmed her mind. She wanted to go help Wyntre but it was too late for that now. She didn’t know what was right to do, but she had to do this.
With all the strength she could muster she screamed with the most amplitude she could have. ”COME ON YOU IDIOTS GET THE F*** HERE! I’M RISKING MY BEST FRIEND AND AN ENTIRE EMPIRE FOR YOU SO YOU BETTER GET BEHIND THIS BARRIER!” Zexama screamed as more and more energy went into the barrier. Zexama looked at Komoto’s attack and the long detour they took, going down to the ground before going back up. Zexama looked up at Vi-poi and she realised what she had to do. It didn’t matter if she died or not. She needed to save Vi-poi, plus, if Faltroshish escaped the afterlife, Zexama could too… right?
As more people came around the barrier she screamed one more time. ”All of you better start charging another attack right now! As soon as you get a shot you take it! Got it?!?” Zexama raised both her hands into the air and the pink barrier was raised along with them. She looked around at both the closest attack from Komoto and Vi-poi heated attacked. ”You guys better hurry up! I’m going to use it as soon as I have to!” Zexama’s shield waited just before Komoto’s attack went in range and the shield spread out all around her.
The shield’s Ki was sending sparks of lightning all around them. As the small ki attacks hit Zexama’s shield they went inside of it but didn’t come out the other side. It was destroyed on impact with the Ki. The attack from Vi accelerated at massive speeds. Then, in the corner of her eye. I single piece of chocolate. On the ground. It would not be destroyed… No, Zexama would save it. She used so desperately her strength to make the small piece of chocolate (mimi) fly into her pocket and go next to jelly bean Aksor.
As the attack hit the shield Zexama screamed as she held her hands forward and pushed the attack back. The section at which it attack Zexama got less and less, until. It was gone. Zexama’s body felt dead, she couldn’t feel anything in her bones… she… she was falling. The last thing she said before losing her strength was: ”Someone grab Komoto… Only after you attack Vi… Please, don’t let Aksor’s death be useless…Zexama body started falling to the ground. She was using what little strength she had left to make sure the impact upon hitting the ground didn’t kill her. So if someone were to grab her she could eat Aksor’s jellybean form, and regain her energy.
[7,338,870 vs (38,400 x 6) + 6312781. Shield wins. Zexama falling to the ground.] [/font]

SHIT SHIT SHIT! Gleciar saw Vi-Poi's movement as he started to unleash his attack, it was too late. He instantly turned around started flying away. I cant believe I'm doing this! I should be still there! Catching... Oh no... As he kept flying away he felt Benetto's Ki stop and dissapear. He knew what it meant. He had been a coward and Benetto had paid for it... It wouldnt have mattered anyway... Had I stayed... I would have simply been caught in the blast too and died without having a chance to survive.
He turned around and noticed the attack was catching up to him. SHIT! SHIT! FUCK! It was then that he heard Sasha screaming at Articho to get her to the barrier. I couldnt save you, Benny. But I WILL save your sister! Articho wouldnt have time to do it himself, but maybe he could. He turned belly up and dived towards Sasha. In an instant he wrapped his tail around her and blasted off again towards the barrier. "HOLD ON TIGHT!"
He could see that the attack was upon him. But he didnt care. FUCK IT! He released the energy he had been saving to attack Vi-Poi and used it as extra propultion so he could get in the barrier on time.
((Releasing Magna Cross for extra propultion and speed to get away at 300%= 1,096,350))
He was nearly there!
Just one more second!
THERE! YES!
He had gotten to the lower end of the barrier just in time.
He saw the fireworks as the barrage unleashed by Vi-Poi hit the barrier and sighed in relief. He was safe. So was Benetto's sister... Maybe he hadn't saved him, but he did saved his sister.
A few seconds pased and the attack dissapeared. So did the barrier. And suddenly a female Majin was falling. He quickly caught her in his arms as he remembered that Sasha wouldnt like to held by his tail by much longer. He started swinging his tail until there was enough momentum to throw her and catch her with his legs.
"Are you two alright?" He was tired from all he had done in a few seconds. He could hold for a few more... maybe.

It was tight; the window of opportunity afforded to her after she'd threw a monstrous jab into the fuming android. Only after feeling that she wasn't stopped, parried or blocked was she able to book it with fervent speed back t the barrier. All around her, she could see those that had thrown their lot at their enemy.
With a glance over her shoulder, very little time left as she rocketed into the vicinity of Zexama, she looked at the man whom she knew would die like the rest that didn't make it. What was his name...? Her mind nudged her, a strange sense of obligation to remember out of honor that she didn't realize she had. It was... Nova, and she turned back, throwing a gesture out to him in the form of a thumbs up as she nearly crashed/grinded into the dirt. He may not see it, but she was going to make certain that this bastard would pay for his crimes.
Maybe I'll rob a bank or something after this, speaking of crimes. Just as the barrier went up around them, Zerori turned to see what happened to the rest. Articho was safe, and Gleciar as well with a girl ticked safely into his arms. Stepping toward him, she made a grunt to get his attention she spoke, "Good to see you back to fight, Glec," She started, presenting him with a grin, "I didn't take all the fun, this time," Ending her statement in a bit of a sing-song tone, she made to look back at Vi-Poi.
Zexama, as in connection the barrier, were completely spent but they that had made it were safe from the immediate danger. As she fell, Gleciar caught her in the air and Zerori leaned into a step, disappearing and reappearing besides her to check her condition. It was her last words before sleep that Zerori clicked her tongue in annoyance, realizing that the fucking Majin she'd spared obviously had no intention of heeding her warning. Just before the girl would rest, the saiyaness would lean toward her in Gleciar's arms before snarling, "Leave him to me and this time he won't get any mercy," Turning from them, Zerori looked at those around made a very important choice.
The attack that further lessened their numbers was gone, but a nuisance remained. Should she continue to attack the android, using the advantage they had while the getting was good...
Or should she make absolutely certain that pink-faced bastard was dead? The decision rang out in her head like a siren, one promising an end and a new beginning to living while the other promised a great satisfaction - at the cost of possibly losing the fight against Vi-Poi and losing her life. To any other whom had a good head on their shoulders, the choice was clear to forsake vengeance for victory. It would behoove their efforts and benefit Zerori in the long run...
But that wasn't now. And he already managed to elude her twice - there would not be a third. With her mind made up and revenge at hand for his constant trickery and deceit, she set her sights for his body above them. With a final look toward the girl she gave a wink before turning away and, with a loud cry, an explosion of red warped energy wildly rotated around her in a chaotic fashion. The gloves that were designs to hold the hottest fires glowed brightly. She would save the hottest fires of hell for him.
Launching from besides the group, she made a mad dash for the shirtless Majin, teeth bared and her arms at her side with fingers spread in claw-like formation. When she closed the distance between each other, intent on not letting him escape her, she made to grasp at his throat with her right hand and pull back her other arm as she laughed with sadistic glee in his face, "Try to com back again, Majin God!" Before she would throw her flattened hand into his chest with the intent to impale him.
Should it succeed, she would release the flames held tightly within her to immolate him from the inside... Out.

Post by Tako on Aug 4, 2015 18:33:18 GMT
They say that when you are facing death, your life flashes before your eyes. As Tako faced the onrushing wall of steam, released after Vi-Poi had some sort of a fit, there was no time for the full thing; just two events that leapt out of the past to confront her. The ringing of wood against wood as her bokken clashed against her father’s. The man was a giant, impossible for her smaller frame to move let alone injure, yet they struggled against one another every day – and she was getting better. “Good, Tako! Good! Keep it up!”
Her father’s voice was booming, and her mock sword violently struck out, scoring a hit against the older man’s side. He struck back without mercy or hesitation – he didn’t even flinch when the blow hit him. She did flinch when the weapon cracked down on her skull and she was sent sprawling to the ground, blood trickling from the top of her head. “Remember, there’s no shame in being outfought, my dear. There is only shame in cowardice. Never let them see you are afraid, never back down, and always give it your all!”
With a defiant shout on her lips, she’d flung herself back at him with everything she had – he’d laughed, and once more the dojo was filled with the sound of wood ringing against wood, booming laughter and determined struggling - the noises that she would always associate with the happiest times in her life. Would that she had known then that they would be over far too soon. He didn’t seem so large at all when he was laid out for his funeral. He was a thin man, gaunt, even, and his self-stitched gi hung ridiculously on his frame. Tako wore a matching one which didn’t suit her any better. The soft cream clashed violently with the dark black of her hair, and the puffy redness of her eyes. Her mother knew better than to draw attention to that as the priest stumbled through the usual platitudes and clichés. They were the only two people who came to the funeral. Her grandparents were dead, her uncles and aunts considered them a disgrace, and in the world of martial arts, her father was a joke. Whoever had ended the man’s life had probably thought they were doing the world – and him – a favour. Despite the bitterness in her heart, he looked peaceful in death. That sense of peace was the main thing that Tako remembered about it. He'd always been so full of energy; at the last, when he was laid out cold and lifeless, all of that had been stolen from him. It seemed so impossible to her to believe that he would never lift her up again, that he'd never cross swords with her... that he wasn't going to be there to see her when she surpassed him. They couldn’t afford any help with the funeral, so Tako had dug the hole, and when the words were finished being spoken, she was the one who lowered the great man into it. After that, she took his sword, and placed it above her mantle. It still sat there to this day. She should have kept using a sword. Maybe then her mother would have something to remember her by. Instead, she'd turned her back on her father's legacy. That was a painful truth to acknowledge. Back to reality. She can feel the heat blistering on her skin, now. The pressure from the wave before her is intense; far stronger than anything she’d seen Bing do in their fight, and that was the only frame of reference for power of this calibre that she really had. Wasn’t this what she wanted? To test her might? To show the world – and more importantly, herself – what it was she could do? She’d asked for a one on one fight against Vi-Poi, and she’d meant it. This wasn’t as good as that, but it was a close second. She’d done what she could to try and help people, but if she’d been there to be heroic, she never would have let herself get distracted by the prospect of the fight when she was so clearly outmatched. If there were any consolation to be found, it was in the fact that she had convinced Vi-Poi to destroy less, and had, perhaps, managed to save a few hundred lives herself. It was a nice thought to think, that she had managed to save some others – but she had no real way of knowing that she had limited Vi-Poi’s destructive rampage, and even if she did, it wouldn’t be cold comfort when faced with the overwhelming destruction still coming towards her in that moment. But she wasn’t a hero; she was a martial artist, and that meant facing each challenge with discipline and strength. That was all it had ever meant. As Bing passes beneath her, though, she feels a smile tug at the corners of her lips. She didn’t have much time. She had to make the most of it! But what could she say to the Defender of Earth? She wanted him to know that she didn’t regret her part in this; that she would have come here even if she had never met Bing, but that if she had, she wouldn’t have been nearly so certain that in the end, the world will be fine, because for all his flaws, she had faith that he would prove to be strong enough to defend it. He was still an idiot, though, and she'd still punch him in the face the moment she was strong enough to make him feel it! She wanted to say all of that, but words were – as she had often said – not her strong point, and she just didn’t have time. Ah, what she wouldn’t give for one last sparring match! Then, perhaps, her fists would be able to express what her tongue could not. Her eyes catch his, for a fleeting instant, and she’s smiling – lips pulled up in a moment of pure happiness. Her voice is soft, quiet even – so unusual for a girl who usually spent the majority of her time screaming and shouting. Last words. Better make them good. “Remember me.”
Now the steam was almost on her, and the girl’s aura flared a brilliant white and strobing blue, summoning up everything she could muster. It wasn’t her most powerful technique; it wasn’t even her most well-suited to dealing with an onrushing wall of radioactive energy (not that she truthfully had very much at all that could deal with such a situation), but if she was going to clash against Vi-Poi’s power, she was going to do it with the technique that best summed up her spirit. This was the technique that had carried her to victory in a dozen fights! The technique she'd used to put an end to Blue Banner tyranny when she'd seen it before! Perhaps, if she just gave it everything she had, it'd prove to be enough - the strength of her heart remained undiminished as, far too late, she put her all into the oncoming storm. The girl’s leg comes sweeping around, and a loud cry splits the air. “HELTER!”
And the world won’t hear the end of that signature technique. Her leg collides with the superheated steam. It is a truly gruesome way to die. Her skin melts away, her blood boils in her veins. It isn’t so much that the attack incinerates Tako, as much as it flenses the flesh from her bones. If there is one small mercy, it is that it all happens so quickly that she doesn’t have time to really experience the searing pain. Instead, she brings her leg around, and is engulfed by the steaming cloud. When the vapour finally clears, Tako’s skeleton is left hanging in the air – a perfect replica of the move she had attempted to complete, steam-cleaned to perfection without a hint of flesh upon its freshly-gleaning frame. The moment doesn’t last for long. Almost immediately after, it tumbles to the ground in a clattering heap of disorganized bones, and Tako Kurei is no more. (( [UP2] Helter Skelter at a massive 93,628 used against the Superhot Steam Clean which at this point hadn't hit the barrier (for all the difference that would have made anyway) resulting in ... the predictable!))

The world slowed to a stop as the vicious Realigner Red released the cloud of devastation. Nicolas was frozen in a state of agony as his form was engulfed in pure pain. His eyes widened as the overwhelming torture he was going through caused his body to start to involuntarily shut down. His jaw slackened, his vision blanked, his muscles failed and he lost his clinging grip he had around the android and slipped off his lithe form, releasing him from his grapple finally. Nicolas' limp form fell into the cloud of steam and slowly towards the street below. There was no more fighting... No more heroics... No more...Anything...
He didn't see the scrappy hero's futile attempt to save him (Though he would have wished he hadn't tried, there was no reason both of them had to die.) Nor did he witness Zerori giving him one last look before she made her way to safety (Though he probably would have felt some solace he made something of an impression before he...) His mind was racing as everything around him was breaking apart. Despite everything, he kept coming back to one question: 'Why?' He thought of Vi Poi. Why would he cause this much pain...This much devastation... This much suffering... To chase a fairy tale? It seemed incredibly silly in hindsight. A robot built by man seeking a whimsy dreamed up by other men. So many people died because of it...
He never liked that story anyway...
Nicolas' mind desperately tried to keep itself together as his body failed. Splintered images of his life flashed before his eyes before being melted away like everything else. Why couldn't he hold on to those? Couldn't he just stay in his memories forever? Why...Why did he have to lose everything? Scalding tears burned his eyes as he was forced to remember...What he was leaving behind...Everything he was losing due to his stupidity. No amount of courage would bring it back. He couldn't save the day on this one... He lost.
He could recall, the day he left Seasalt Town and came to the city. His mother...What did she look like? Oh god... He couldn't remember! Was she burning away too?! No. No, he managed to scrounge up her face. She was crying, but they weren't out of sadness or sorrow, no... She was...Happy. He thought, no...She was. She was wishing him luck, telling him to follow his dream and telling him to be careful...She had no idea that he was being anything but. She didn't know part of his 'dream' was to dress up as a fucking super hero and prance around like an idiot saving the day. He was supposed to be an artist. That was his dream... Guess he wasn't going to get the chance to follow it. He kind of wished he spent more time on it. Oh well...
He remembered the last thing she said, the last thing his whole family said as he left for college. She and all his brothers and sisters told him they loved him, with all their heart. He loved them too... He really did... But...Why was it getting harder and harder to remember their faces?! Why couldn't he hold on to one sweet memory? When he needed it most. Why did he have to leave them? No...Why did...He have to die?
He didn't want to... He didn't want to die! Why did he do it? Why did he challenge a god when he was merely an ant? It didn't even do him any good... This man. No, this monster blocked and overpowered everything. Every attack. Every hope. Every dream. This monster... This man made death machine would be the end of everyone here!
Why couldn't it end like it did in his comic books? Or video games? Why did reality have to be so cold and unforgiving. It wasn't fair. 'Life isn't fair' though. He really hated that expression.
He really did.
More splintered thoughts came to his mind as he struggled to keep himself together... Everything was breaking...He couldn't tell if he was alive or in a dream. Past, present, and thoughts of the future melted into one making everything hard to comprehend. Was this the reality of death? Everything blending into one broken dream followed by nothingness? It was horrifying.
He didn't want this.
It wasn't fair.
Why?
Suddenly, he would thrust his arm up reaching for something that wasn't there. He screamed something, over and over again, but it was lost to the steam and energy released by Vi Poi. He looked to his hand, vision returning briefly. It was shaking, charred black, and breaking away. He yelled out again, crying in agony as he finally gave in to his pain.
The last thing he thought of, was the question that kept coming back to him, over and over again.
W... ...H …..Y?
He died, hand reaching for nothing while falling to the ground. What was he reaching for? A memory from the past? A dream for the future? It didn't matter...
As the attack cleared, the rest of his charred form would fade away, leaving his brittle skeleton to hit the concrete below. With a sickening crack, the skeleton would crumble to dust, leaving no trace that he ever existed. With a scalding flash of steam and heat, the caped crusader known as Captain Nova was no more.

Those who had clashed against him were pushed away by the immense energy hurling out of him in all directions. The superhero on his back was first to burn. Then the other caped cretin. Then the Bao-Mart dyejob. There were others, too. He could feel them. There were thousands. Then came more still, like little popcorns going kernel-out in a great bit hissing kettle. The buildings glowed a ghostly orange before they vanished into the ether of oblivion.
“Nothing like a good bath! Scrubs all the scrubs away from your body.” Vi-Poi yelled, twisting in a tight spiral, leaving a trail of the superheated steam behind him as he ascended into the leaden sky. It was wicked and whorled with darkness, as if a great and shadowy serpent coiled around the contrail. The attack had caused the little bleeping death knells of several of his opponents. The android grinned with bare yttrium teeth as he floated above the wounded Capital. The cloud had left a significant patch of the North Metro area a place of eerie, silent death. Sirens wailed in the distance, but below him was complete quiet, the noiselessness of utter destruction.
“I like the quiet! It means all the little rustling has ceased!” The red-haired android announced, putting his fists on his hips. “That’s all you all are, rustling molecules! You’re walking, talking chemical reactions that are slowly fizzling to a halt. Hehehuehuehue! I’m just a catalyst to speed things along.” He rose higher, clacking his warp boots together. They began to hum slowly as their coils churned on. “I will see whoever has the guts to be ripped out in one week’s time! And if you try to stop me again, I’ll blow another hole into this stinking city and kill more of you! Try and stop me, and I'll turn this planet into a cosmic light show!” He gave a wave of his hand and began to shoot off and upward into the cold reaches of space, moving much more quickly than before, a red comet against dark clouds of coiling smoke…

(Sorry, I didn't realize it's my turn)
Komoto noticed the huge blast that Vipoi launched at the city below. The Majin knew that this was it, and accepted that one of the three would be why he died. The Majin spread open his arms, and accepted his fate, turning to ash from Vipoi's attack.

The raging maelstrom of power coming from Vipoi burned against Zexama's barrier, emitting a painful shriek as two monstrous powers collided. It seemed that a bit of luck was what saved the heroes this day. Had Zexama not charged her barrier, those who were safe here would have been vaporized entirely, including Bing and Zexama. The barrier was mighty, but it would not have held out against the full force of Vipoi's attack alone. It was thanks to the efforts of many warriors that the barrier was able to keep up.
Eventually, the crackling cacophony was silenced by Vipoi, who had stopped emitting his raw, uncontrolled power. Soon after, Zexama dropped the barrier and began to fall to the ground. Bing was moving in to catch her, but Gleciar was the first to make it. He caught the Majin in his hand, while holding another girl in his tail. Bing nodded at Gleciar, a silent thanks for catching their mutual friend and savior.
The rush and fear of hiding in the barrier had finally subsided, leaving Bing's senses to wander during this small respite from battle.
The first thing he noticed...he couldn't sense Tako anywhere.
No matter how hard he focused, it didn't make a difference. She was gone, and there was nothing he could do now to bring her back. If he could find the Dragon Balls, there was a chance, but that wouldn't matter if Vipoi was also scouring the earth for them. His mind wandered more as he floated there, thinking back to the last thing Tako said before she disappeared from this world:
Remember Me.
"...I will..."
Slowly, he descended to the ground, eyeing Vipoi from below. In his peripheral he saw Zerori was charging full speed towards Komoto's last location, but that would do nobody any good, as Komoto was already dead.
He clenched his fists tightly. Though he knew his attacks were ineffective, he still had an unshakable mixture of rage, fear, confusion, and excitement.
Vipoi began spouting his incessant nonsense once more, saying that everyone was simply molecules or something to that effect. Bing shouted as hard as he could up to the robot he once called an ally.
"Realigner Red, know this!" he pointed a challenging finger "We may not have won today, but you've sealed your fate! Come next week, you won't exist in this dimension. It may not be me who ends you, but someone will defeat you, and all the lives lost here will be avenged!"
He turned his back on the machine, and looked at Zexama with sincerity in his eyes.
"Zexama, I'm so sorry that you've lost friends here today. I promise that I will do everything I can to make it up to you...and to everyone else who lost someone today..."

Zexama was falling. She felt nothing in the world, she was accepting Death as it came to her, as it swept her off her feet and dropped her into the After Life. She didn’t find this as a time to worry, however, she found it as a time to stop. To relax. She had already saved at least five people so maybe she would get given a lollipop for her efforts. Maybe she would even get a Ninjara chocolate, the chocolate that Zexama made with Ninjin the first time they met. Oh Ninjin, she hadn’t seen Ninjin in a while, however, she did tell Zexama that she had gone off onto an island somewhere because she was raising a child. Just as Zexama was about to drift off forever, she was caught. She didn’t know what was going on and all she knew was pain. The Ki from her body was so weak and she felt completely useless, almost as if she was just a lump of bubble gum. As her eyes opens she saw an Arcosian, no knowing really who he was she was happy and suddenly felt happy that someone had come and help her. With a soft voice she made a small peep directed towards the direction of the life saver. ”T-Thank you…” As she raises her head the most she could she saw Komoto’s body turn into a puff of ash in the shape of his body. Before long the ask fell to the ground and formed a small pile. Zexama felt guilt, the only other majin she had ever met was killed and she didn’t even save him. Although, Komoto did kill Aksor, so he had a death well justified. As the body fell Zerori punched the ash with a flaming fist, just to make sure he died. Then more death happened. Zexama winced at the deaths of Nova, Benneto and Tako, she couldn’t help thinking that it was her fault that they didn’t go behind the barrier and be protected by Zexama. It was unbearable to feel that it was her fault that they were killed, even if it was Vi-poi that used the mighty attacked that incinerated Tako, Nova and Benneto. No, this couldn’t be happening, Zexama had to try to get back up and train non-stop. She had to get strong enough so that she could have a better fight against Vi-poi than just charging a technique for an entire fight and then passing out afterwards just to stop a single attack from Vi-poi. So yes, she had to make good use of her time and train after this battle was done. Then, when she least thought she would realise it, she realised she should pay the friendly Arcosian in some way, she… she should take on the role of Turtle Hermit and help teach the friendly Arcosian the ways of the Turtle. With slow breaths she let out the following words. ”Y-You… Would you like to learn..” Zexama voice cut off as her life began to fade away a bit before she began talking again. ”From the turtle school? I’m afraid that Ninjin, the previous Turtle Hermit has left, so I could teach you instead.”Zexama realised that she could still come back from this, she didn’t have to be completely useless. Zexama shoved her hand into her pocket only to pull out the jelly bean. Zexama spoke a small request in a soft voice. ”Please make sure no one stops me.” Zexama lifted the jelly bean to her mouth a tear fell from her eye. ”Forgive me Aksor, we will be together forever this way.” The jellybean fell from Zexama’s hand and went into her mouth. As she chewed the jellybean power went through her body. It surged around and she felt the power increase within her. She felt the Ki go back into her body and she released herself from the Arcosian. Zexama took a deep breath in as she realised her body was about to change drastically. She started to shake as her skin started to rattle. The bits of her exploded away and they fell back together before the outer layer began to shift. She had to admit, it looked a bit different than expected and she didn’t feel like herself. orig00.deviantart.net/6d6e/f/2015/044/7/9/majin_yamio_ipod_5th_gen_wallpaper_by_xxhisanxx-d8hwa2l.jpg This is what Zexama looks like. The height is the same size and the eye look less crazy. The chain isn’t there and there is a turtle gi instead of the black clothes. +1x added. Zexama watched as Vi-poi said he would leave and that he would kill more people if they didn’t let him leave. She couldn’t let that happen, it would never happen. She couldn’t bear to have more people die because she couldn’t protect them or they didn’t listen. Then Bing made a promise in some sort. He said that he would try to make it up to Zexama after all this was over. So she asked it of him early. ”Bing… I do have one request. I request that when we turn Vi-poi back, that you come with us to protect Arcose or at least claim it back. I want to set things straight with the SSE. I want to make an alliance with them, however their pasts have gone back way too far for a simpleton like me to fix. I want the help from you and eventually Vi-poi to help communicate with the SSE.”As Zexama saw Vi-poi zoom off into the distance she didn’t even try to stop him, he let him go off for one main reason. The reason that Zexama left the evil Vi-poi leave is that she now had a responsibility. She had to teach these new students that wanted to learn from the Turtle school. Let them be weak or powerful, she would teach them if their intentions were good. ”Zexama, your power has risen, but, there is something else I should tell you. There is a very faint reading coming from the piece of diet-chocolate that was on the ground. You should eat it.”[/b] Zexama nodded as she imagined eating the piece of yummy chocolate. [Zexama has absorbed Aksor. +1x transformation to both defence and offense.]

Articho shielded his eyes behind the barrier as a bright flash from the connecting attacks shined. He could tell that Vi-Poi's attack decimated their own combined efforts and with it, a few ki signatures vanished, one being Benetto's. The hybrid felt like a knife had been stabbed deeply into his chest as he realized what he had done. Articho had sent his teammate flying to his certain death without thinking about it. He faltered in his floating behind Zexama's barrier, nearly falling out from behind it in shame and self loathing. The hybrid couldn't help, but feel like the young superhero's blood was on his hands.
His foot had just dipped out of the barrier when Sasha calling to him brought him back to reality. He instinctively yanked his foot up and shot skyward a few inches as he looked at her. She was calling for him, asking for help as she took a bounding leap towards him. He started moving towards her quickly, his defeated expression quickly hardening. Her brother may have died because of his actions, but Articho would be damned if he let another Giri die.
As Articho reached the edge of the barrier, Gleciar had jumped in and grabbed Sasha with his tail before flying back to the barrier. The half Saiyan slowed to a stop as the ki shield closed off with Gleciar and Sasha barely making it through. The Arcosian flew off past him in a rush, Sasha still wrapped in his tail. The hybrid floated into her path and caught her in his arms. He wasn't smiling this time as he studied the android flying away. "We're done here," he said simply, more to himself than anyone else. The hybrid floated to the ground, his shoes crunching against the hot dirt. He turned his attention to Sasha in his arms. "Sasha, I..." he could barely get the words out, "... I'm sorry about Benetto. He was a true hero."
Articho would go silent after that. He stared at Vi-Poi as the all powerful robot flew off into the distance. One week. One week for them to get strong enough and defeat Vi-Poi. A tall order, but a fire had been lit inside the hybrid's chest. He would get stronger and he would try his hardest to bring the android down. Articho looked up at Gleciar above him. "Gleciar!" he called to his friend. "It's time to train."

Sasha had reached her limit as she was dropped into Articho's arms. It would be so easy to black out right now, but she couldn't yet. She had to find her brother. As they began to float to earth, Sasha noticed how high up they truly are. (Huh... I must really be hurting, this isn't bothering me at all...) Sasha's eyes drifted closed briefly, then snapped them back open. (I can't sleep yet! I need to find Benetto, he has to be here somewhere!) As they touched down, she tried to get Articho to put her down, but couldn't find the strength to say anything, let alone really move. (Dammit... what did I even train for, if I'm just going to let myself continue to be rescued by guys?! Ugh... why...) she mused. She would have gone on in that vein, but then she heard Articho apologizing to her... like... Benetto was dead? But that couldn't be... She desperately tried to sense her brother's ki nearby to prove Articho wrong, Benetto was still around... but she came up with nothing, and the realization came crashing down on her relentlessly until she couldn't deny it. Her beloved big brother was gone. She started to cry, her eyes closing to try to hold them back, and this time she didn't fight unconsciousness as it enveloped her.
[Sasha is now knocked out and will not be waking up anytime soon. Thread exit, PL please.]

Post by Gleciar Avierno on Aug 6, 2015 20:36:17 GMT
Gleciar was having problems staying consious after all this, but he had to stay strong. After leaving Sasha in Articho's arms he said simply. "Yes, but first take care of her... I have an idea... I think that Majin is Zexama... The new Turtle Hermit... She can train us to fight Vi-Poi again." He gave a low sigh and started walking towards her. "I'll help her with what she needs. I'll be back in a moment."
He guarded Zexama as she turned the Arcosian into a jellybean and ate him. He cringed as he did so, but didn't stop her. He needed her help. He couldn't do anything to anger her. Plus, she genuinly felt sorry for what happened to him. He saw as her form changed and her power grew. After then transformation finished he listened to what she said.
Arcose had been taken over... NOW!? WHY NOW!? He wanted to go there, but now... No! He had to focus on the task aat hand. He walked closer to Zexama. "Miss Zexama... Could you please train Articho and I so we can fight Vi-Poi? We had already some training with Ninjin... And we wish to learn from you now..." He looked back to make sure Articho wouldn't hear to what he had to say next. "And once we are a done with Vi-Poi we'll go with you to help with whatever is going on in Arcose." He gave a small bow no matter her responce and flew back to his team.
He felt terrible as soon as he laid his eyes on Sasha... unconscious on Articho's arms. "You should get her to you mom's home. I'll go to Benetto's and pick up that 'custom made scouter' he didnt stop talking about during lunch, it could come in handy. Then we'll go to train with Zexama. We need to end this!" He said firmly before letting out a sigh and returning to his suppresed form.
He sat on the ground panting. "But first... give me a moment..." He grabbed the Senzu Bean he had gotten from the blue cat and considered eating it... No... It will come in handy for when we fight Vi-Poi next week... He put it back on his collar and flopped on the ground. Noticing there was no bump. "OH CRAP! MY SWORD!" He stood up and flew to pick it up where he had let it fall.
It had landed in an alley... Or what used to be an alley... The buildings surrounding it where now rubble. He could see its handle poking out of the rubble. As he pulled it out he almost tripped, but made less embarasing by keeping his balance with a cheessy pose. Oh god... No matter... I... I'll just walk back to where Arti is... He thought as he lowered his arm, put his sword back in his sheath and walk back to his friends.
