Toma sat outside his house. It had been a long day for the young Saiyan. First he had gone to the Eastern Lands and had fought a Half Saiyan. Then shortly after, he had went and encountered a Majin in the forest… what was next? He recalled Ninjin having wished to speak with him. She apperently wanted to teach him some of her techniques. He wasn’t sure what they were, but she had assured him they were powerful and that he would want to know them. Toma trusted her judgement, so he decided to wait for her.
He was tired, but he still had enough energy left for a few lessons for the day. He closed his eyes, casting out his senses in order to see if Ninjin was getting closer. Of course, he enjoyed being around her, for more reasons than one.

She had to of headed off to another of the Turtle Dojo’s. Ninjin was happy though about her own training with gravity as her speed had naturally increased so much without her having to exert herself as much. She could see the forest that she was feeling more and more comfortable calling home rise over the horizon as she came flying in. There she saw the place she was calling home as she came in with a slight flourish of her ki as she spun in the air and landed on the ground near Toma a wide smile on her face. “Sorry about that. Duty calls with the Dojo. Sadly I cannot seem to just go and find an island to live on and have no one bother me. Would be the life to do that wouldn’t it Toma?”
She smiled as she walked over beside him and gave him a brief hug. Pulling back from him she tilted her head as she backed up from him before bringing her hand to her chin. It was as if she was remembering something. “Oh yes I was going to show you a few moves. Well I guess I already have shown you a few.”
She smirked at the comment as she placed a hand on her hip and looked at him. “But I do not think those moves will help you on the battlefield. No I think there are other moves I would need to teach you. Like the Kamehameha which is the signature of the Turtle School… or better yet I could teach you the technique that only two people know on the planet. It is something of a compressed saw blade of ki. It will spin at a speed that it assumes it looks like it is not moving and it has a buzzing noise as you hold it and as it moves through the air.” As Ninjin spoke she watched Toma closely. Noticing how her boy was a little tired from his daily routine. Which to her meant he had already been training that day.

“Hmm… Living on an island all alone hm? Just the two of us? Yea, that does sound nice…” He spoke, as he stood up, embracing her in a hug. “And Ninjin, after we’re done with this…” He spoke, as he took her hands in his, smiling at her. “After our training session, I mean… I want to talk to you about something.” He said, before he stepped back from her.
She went on to speak about moves she wanted to show him, well, new moves. Of course the moves she had already taught him were fun for both of them, but that was saved for private times behind closed doors rather than on the battlefield. “Hah, yea… That’d be awkward.” He joked, laughing a bit.
He brought a hand up to his chin as he looked up at the blue sky in thought. “A spinning compressed blade… like a buzz saw right?” He spoke, thinking back to another cutting technique he had seen against his fight with Zuccetta. “I assume one would throw this technique, right? If it’s a circular Ki blade then I doubt we’d hold it.”

She let out a light laugh at his speaking that him showing off the other set of moves she had taught him would be akward in combat. Her large smile showing genuine happiness for the first time in a long time on the woman’s face as she stood there. For her to actually so openly trust someone and enjoy herself around them was a rather large risk.
Ninjin raised an eyebrow at Toma when he said he wanted to talk about something before they started training. As to her it was unusual that he would not just be forthright with what was bothering him so this began to tickle at her mind. “Well we can always talk while we train Toma. I mean it is not all that hard to talk as we throw punches at one another. Also yes that is exactly how it sounds. Here let me show you what I mean by its sound and what it looks like.”
Ninjin closed her eyes as she lifted her arm up and flattened her palm. Her arm pulsed and flexed for a brief moment as she felt the ki travel up her arm and from the center of her palm a yellowish disk spun to life. It seemed to be stationary in her hand but there was a slight buzzing noise in the air as it spun upon her outstretched palm. “And this is the Kienzan, Toma. This is the most powerful technique that the Turtle School knows as it has never once not managed to cut through something that I have thrown it at. The only way I have ever seen it not do its damage was when I missed with it and had it impact other things. Here let me show you…”
Turning from Toma she looked toward a nearby tree. Rearing her arm back she threw the disc toward the top of the nearby tree. As it impacted the top of the tree it sliced through it without any effort and vanished as the top of the tree seemingly stood there for a moment before toppling down and toward the ground next to the tree. “And that is why the technique is protected. There are only two people that know of this maneuver on the planet. Myself and Daiki; as he was my first pupil and earned what he has learned. Though I know that you have also earned my trust Toma. If you want I can teach it to you after I show you the other techniques of the school as well?”

Toma listened to Ninjin’s comment about how they usually talked while they trained. It was true, and normally Toma would gladly speak to Ninjin about what was on his mind during training. Oh no, but this… what he wanted to ask her. This wasn’t quite the right setting for it. Training was fun, but he wanted her full attention when he spoke to her about what came next.
She then raised her arm up, demonstrating to him the Kienzan. It was just how Toma had imagined it to be. A large spinning disc of energy. Of course it didn’t take a genius to know that it could cut through anything, it seemed. Even heavy defenses. He smiled at that. A strong technique like that would be useful to anybodies arsenal.
“Sure, I’d love to learn it.” He spoke. He thought about trying it himself real quick, but he felt he should wait for proper instruction on the subject to prevent any accidental damage or injuries to either of the two of them. “What are the other techniques? I assume one is the blue energy blast I see you using in combat often. Though I’m not sure if there are any others aside from that one.”

“Well yes there is the Kamehameha which as you describe it is the big blue energy beam. Which is a rather impressive physical ki attack though there are so many that trump it nowadays. I personally have read several texts that the first grandmaster of our school had wrote and locked away in the vaults. There I learned of some super modified versions of the technique. One of which I taught myself in order for the attack to be greater than my own Spiral Wave Attack. Though I have found other uses for that attack since.” She spoke softly as she turned her head to look at Toma. The smile curving the corner of her mouth as she looked at him. Nodding toward him as she thought about the other attack. It was one she had never used in combat except in training as to her it was impractical but it still had its place.
Raising up her right hand she flexed it for a few moments before electrical looking currents appeared on her palm and surrounding her hand. Flexing it a few more times she began to talk. “This is the Thunder Shock Surprise. Named as such as you could tell it does not take much ki to create and it is supposed to be used to surprise an opponent in close range combat and stun them with the sudden electrical shock. I have never used it practically in combat as everyone I have seen is sadly all about that massive ki blast to try and overwhelm you in combat directly off the start instead of getting up close and personal which is kind of what this technique was designed to assist you in. Though Toma I am curious. That attack you where charging on Mount Frappe. I could feel its strength and I wonder what exactly does your ki blast do and what is it called?”
Shaking out her hand the ki flew off her hand in small ropes of electricity as she turned to look at Toma as she was genuinely curious as to what the technique he was going to use back then was and was going to do. As she knew it would have had to of been strong in order for it to help that day and Toma seemed to trust in it so it had to be strong.

Toma crossed his arms and nodded as Ninjin spoke about the next attack, the Thunder Shock Suprise. Now that she had described it, Toma was sure he could replicate it with relative ease. It shouldn’t be that hard to make a small stunning electrical charge out of his Ki. After all, Ki did have several uses and forms. He even once saw a girl turn Ki into pure fire!
“Yes, I know. It seems odd. Everyone is all about the ranged Ki attacks… not that I can blame them, really. It’s easy to overwhelm an unprepared opponent with such techniques. That’s why I created a Ki deflection technique that allows me to deflect such blasts.” He spoke, before she asked him what the technique he had been charging on Mt. Frappe was. He chuckled. “Ironically it was a blast similar to that of the Kamehameha you described. A simple Ki Blast that I put all of my power into. I was planning on vaporising the Android before he could fire off his attack if he hadn’t decided to go into space. Though, instead of blue, it’s emerald green.” He spoke, before raising his arm, an emerald orb of Ki forming in his hand and firing off into the sky to demonstrate.
“Though if you wouldn’t mind, I’d like to try to master the Kienzan. If you really wish for me to have that technique, then I need to get it right.”

Watching his attack jump into the air and then dispearse harmlessly Nnijin nodded smiling a little as she nodded toward him. It was true that his attack was similar to her own Kamehameha except in the aspect that the Kamehameha made an inordinante amount of backlash on the user and she had to dig her heels into the Earth from time to time while practicing the technique to be certain she was not blown away by its use. While Toma’s attack seemed almost effortless to gather and discharge the ki into the air. “Well teaching the Kienzan is easy as it is just like any other ki based attack Toma. The largest issue of it is the mastery of the Kienzan. As it is really a one shot ability as you throw it and if you miss it flies off to disappear into the air after the ki in it runs out. Mastery is a whole nother level. As I can attest that even with all the practice I have had with the maneuver that I still do not consider myself a master as the original school master spoke of creating a multi Kienzan chain attack and everytime I have tried to replicate the move I have found myself sorely lacking either the ki required to create and maintain that many disks or I lose concentration and the fail to form. But here is how to create it in the easiest of ways.”
Raising her hand once more over her head she walked over beside Toma off to the opposite side of his dominate hand. Closing her eyes for a moment she began to speak up one more. “Alright envision that small ball of ki within your outstretched palm. Slowly increase its mass and then begin to spin it like you would a ball on the ground. Spin it faster and faster with your mind until its shape begins to deform into a flat disk. Then use more of your ki to sharpen its edge as you do if you use your ki on your punches or kicks. But continue to temper the edge of the spinning ki until you feel it be able to spin on its own then while keeping a leash on the ki from your hand open your eyes and see if you have managed to create the disk. If you have then toss it toward a nearby tree.”
The words she spoke where the exact words left within the scrolls from Grandmaster Krillin from so many millennia before. This was the secret to learning the kienzan and to forming and maintaining control over it as you felt its power grow and to wait for the opening needed for it to be affective.

Toma listened carefully to Ninjin’s explanation of how the Kienzan was formed. He crossed his arms and nodded. “A spinning disk… right.” He spoke, as she lifted her hand up and demonstrated once more the technique. He looked up as she did, and he listened to her words of warning. It was a one-shot technique. And if she couldn’t figure out how to make multiples, Toma suspected he’d have a hard time too.
So, he decided to try it. Raising his right arm above his head, he built up a small amount of Ki in his palm. The ki slowly began spinning, flattening and spreading out further and further until it had reached full mass. The buzzing sound of the Kienzan filled the air as it spun up to speed, and Toma walked out of the way of Ninjin. “Alright, let’s give this a try…” He spoke, as he threw his hand back, then flung it quickly foward, sending the Kienzan forwards. It sliced easily through several trees before dissipating, and Toma smiled, before wiping his hands together. “Alright, I think I got it down. Anything else?” He asked, turning back to Ninjin to see if there was anything else they could do.
[SPECIAL - Keinzan: Learned.]

Ninjin nodded at Toma as he spoke about to make it a spinning disk upon his palmed hand. For her that was the simplest way that she could explain the Kienzan to someone. As the technique was something that despite all her research she still did not fully understand. She continued to watch him closely as he mimicked her stance with the upraised hand. The feeling of ki pulsed up and then she saw it manifest with the spinning yellow disk. That familiar buzzing sound resounded into the air.
“You did it Toma. Very nicely done. This is such a difficult technique to learn and even harder one to master. Just cause you have done it once there Toma does not mean it will be any easier to do again. So try it again.” She had brought on the teacher face to her boyfriend. He had wanted to learn from her and Ninjin was going to happily oblige him. Even yet through the semi harsh words it was obvious that some pride and care was in her voice.
Despite the orders to try it again she walked over to him and smiled at him taking his hand in her own. Smiling at him as she squeezed lightly and spoke up. “That was really good Toma. You took right to that technique like I did. So what is it that you wanted to talk to me about?” Speaking softly as she stood before him her hands holding his lightly despite everything that they had been through already she felt secure around him. That feeling of safety that she had not felt since the day she became a Super saiyan.

“Right.” Toma spoke, listening to Ninjins instructions. He was about to raise his arm to try again, but then Ninjin walked over to him, taking his hands in hers. He slid his palm in her hand, locking his fingers in between hers. “Well, I uhh…” He began, looking away in thought. “I’ve been thinking… and I’m not really sure what the Earth custom is for this or how to put it…” He spoke, letting out a sigh. Was this too soon? Was he rushing it? Well the moment was here, so he’d have to just go for it.
“Ninjin… I love you. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you.” He spoke, before he’d tug on her hands, pulling her close as he slid his hands out from hers, and then sliding his arms around her waist. “Will you marry me?” He asked, smiling. “I want to be by your side forever. I love you, and I love this planet, and I want to stay with you… maybe start a family sometime.” He spoke sheepishly, nervously sweating a little.

She saw the nervousness in his stance and his voice seemed to be quiet and not quite himself. This made Ninjin a little bit worried that he was about to drop down on her something that might hurt her. As he spoke about thinking on something it took away the worry about him springing some diagnosis or something Earth shattering from her mind. Or at least she thought it was not going to be Earth shattering.
Feeling the tug on her hands she allowed him to pull her in closer to himself. A smile came onto her face as she heard him speak about how much he cared for her and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life alongside her. In her mind she was screaming and shaking as he said the words that she hurriedly had cobbled together that he might be working toward. Her heart began to race as she felt her pulserate increase. “Y..Your.. asking to… You ac..tually… want to be there.. for me? To be there no matter what…”
She squeezed her eyes closed as she felt the questions pin around within her mind. Though as she thought about it she knew the answer as it slowly came into focus. Taking a deep breath she nodded toward him. Spinning in his arms she nodded a second time her red hair moving as she spoke up. “Yes Toma. Your answer is yes I would love to be beside you… I cannot see myself going anywhere else so long as I am living. So yes so long as I am alive I will be at your side Toma.”
Smiling wide at him she wrapped her own arms around him and pulled herself in tight to rest her head onto his shoulder. She had to do this as her head was swimming with the sudden endorphin release within her mind of what it was that he had asked and she had answered. Closing her eyes tightly as she fought back tears of joy that threatened to overwhelm her.
