So you've died, and been one of the lucky warriors selected to go and train with King Kai, a very selective mentor who teaches righteous warriors of the Northern quadrant of the galaxy.

King Kai teaches two powerful moves:
The Kaioken [Ultimate]
A move with devastating applications in combat. This technique allows for a temporary boost in speed and strength, expanding the user's ki, but over-use and pushing yourself too far results in exhaustion, internal damage and, eventually, death.

"It's like a massive upsurge of energy. Everything is heightened: power, speed, even hearing and vision improve dramatically. You sort of become a super-self. But it can only be sustained for a short time, so you have to get the job done quickly." - An ancient warrior, on the Kaioken technique.
The Kaioken operates on a mechanical scale as thus;
Kaioken x2: Adds an instant +20% charge to your attack. Lowers your thread PL afterward by 7.5%.
Kaioken x3: Adds an instant +30% charge to your attack. Lowers your thread PL afterward by 11.25%
Kaioken x4: Adds an instant +40% charge to your attack. Lowers your thread PL afterward by 15%.
Kaioken x5: Adds an instant +50% charge to your attack. Lowers your thread PL afterward by 18.75%.
Kaioken x10: Adds an instant 100% charge to your attack, lowers your thread PL by afterward 37.5%.
Kaioken x15: Adds an instant 150% charge to your attack, lowers your thread PL by afterward 56.25%.
Kaioken x20: Adds an instant 200% charge to your attack, lowers your thread PL afterward by 75%.
Due to its draining and damaging nature, a user can only activate Kaioken can only be used up to three times in one thread. Note that these percentages and modifiers are both taken from your starting Thread PL, so using Kaioken x15 or x20 twice in one thread would kill you.
The Genki Dama, or Spirit Bomb [Ultimate]
The Genki Dama is another powerful attack often used as a last resort against a stronger opponent.

"Remember that the Spirit Bomb is a martial arts discipline that allows you to borrow energy from grass and trees, from people and animals, from inanimate objects and the atmosphere... And then to concentrate them and release them." - King Kai on the Genki Dama.
The Spirit Bomb starts at a base level of 100% PL, but charges at a basic rate of 33% after this. However, allies of the Spirit Bomb user can give an additional 33% per turn to the bomb--at the cost of ONE of their KP points per turn of charging. This makes the spirit bomb an extremely powerful technique... if you have allies.
On the successful launch of the technique, the user is left with a KP debt of -1/3 KP, meaning it'll take a turn to go back to 0 KP.
These two techniques cannot be used at the same time.
