Satan city in the late morning was bursting with activity, as usual. Some people stood on corners, advertising and trying to sell products to apathetic pedestrians, others wandering mindlessly or going to meet with some type of appointment. Many were just plain lost, or simply wandering aimlessly. Not surprising to say that one of the city's many residents was the ladder, not doing much more than a bit of exploring and a little pick-pocketing. If you're wondering why she's stealing money, it's just because she can so why not? Unbeknownst to her, there's a hole in her pockets, but let's not let her know about that.
So, while Tariph walked down the street with bills falling down her pants leg, onto a sidewalk to make the next passerby's day, she was pretty much loafing at this point. There was not a single thing on her mind that she wanted to do. Wandering pass a fruit stand she continued to ponder about the many ways to quench this strange mental thirst known as boredom. Such an ugly beast that thing is, frustrating in a way like akin to having your tail covered in fleas. She should know. But that's another story that no one should be interested in though rest assured it was very dramatic. By which I mean not dramatic in the slightest. While brooding over the stupid memory of having tail-fleas, as her dad called it, the Half-Saiyan took a bite out of a juicy, sour green apple. Wait, where did she get that?
Right, the fruit stand. She feels she should be worried about becoming a kleptomaniac but at the same time, she was impressed. So stealthy and good even she didn't see that swipe coming, so nice. So smooth. So ninja~.
Okay, enough of that, she needed something to do with her life right now. She is living in one, of the biggest cities in the world, this shouldn't be that difficult! Movies? Na. Arcade? Maybe, maybe. A poster caught Tariph's eye. They were holding a city fair at the park. How did she not know this information before now? Whatever, who cares, she was headed to the park. She put her hands into her pockets and pulled out... twenty Zine. That was when she realized her pockets had holes in them. This is another thing she should have been aware of long before now! When did she become this oblivious to the things happening around her? Maybe the narration is playing tricks, but that can't be it because that would break the fourth wall...
At least she could be thankful she wasn't holding anything but pick-pocket money. Yeah, and she found out about the fair before it came and went, so no need brooding over nothing. With that in mind, Tariph started her quest towards the central park at a jogging pace, tail waving behind her like flying, faceless snake.

((Cough cough we use Zeni, not dollars))
[Heavy Weights on] [PL is roughly 60k]
Kaula let out a soft sigh as she glanced around the city. "Now.." she muttered in a grumble. ".. How did I end up here..?" This particular Saiyan Hybrid sometimes had a habit of getting lost and ending up in places she hadn't been before. Still, she'd dust off her weighted vest as she let out another sigh. Damnit. This shit always happened. She began to wander around when she noticed something peculiar on the ground. She moved a bit closer and went to pick it up. Oh hey! Zeni! She picked it up only to notice that more was falling from the girl ahead of her!
She, for a brief moment, had wondered if the girl knew she was dropping money. ... However, she didn't seem to care. Her left hand came up to adjust her sunglasses. "Free money is money.." she muttered as she started to follow the trail of money. Picking each piece up, however she was likely falling behind the other Saiyan. Still, when she came across the same poster, the Saiyan stared at it for a few moments, her tail flicking to the side once before she had it curl around her waist slowly. She shrugged and went to just keep following the money-dropping Saiyan in front of her.
Of course.. She might seem a bit odd.. Dressed in what seemed to be combat gear. ... With a sword. ... And she was hiding her eyes behind some tinted lenses. Certainly odd, indeed.~
((Sorry for the wait and small-ish post. x3))

(Fixed my durp XD)
Tariph continued on her way with the feeling that someone was watching her... but she didn't bother looking around for who. The girl was a more or less used to that feeling at this point; always stirring up every once in a while. Still, she felt a strange urge to mutter an old rhyme, "Find a zeni, pick it up, all day long you'll have some luck. Good or bad, the nature's had, so just be glad you have some cash.". It was a bit funny that she 'picked' up money from some stranger's pockets and the nature of her luck turned bad in the fact of that hole she is positive was not there when she put her pants on this morning. That didn't stop her from swiping a little more from a passing pedestrian's pocket. While they side eyed the side-walk wondering if they just bumped into her she added an extra 10 to her 20 and putting them in her shirt pocket. Not gonna fall without her knowing this time. She started playing with the idea of patting herself on the back for her cleverness, every part of that thought being ironic. Yep. She is very bored.
As she continued on her way through the thought of being watched shifted to one of being followed. Which was something she cared enough about to look back and see another girl dressed in some strange get-up. Though she instantly recognised them as training clothes, seeing as she lived with someone who was constantly around humans that seemed to want to break their bodies if it meant getting stronger. And the sword was... off putting, to say the least. Certainly worthy of the weary looks it was earning sheathed or not. Then there was the fuzzy belt, which was probably a tail based off the fact that 1.No one wore a belt that thick and 2. She wasn't really hiding the whole 'Saiyan' thing she had going on. The again, she might not be a Saiyan? Wouldn't be the first time someone decided to dress up like one, after all. Oh, she was wearing sunglasses too. Huh, must have sensitive eyes or something to that effect.
As for the Saiyan idea, even though it is an idea Tariph is mostly screwing around with for the hell of it, why not just see how strong this person is? Sating this curiosity lead to the Half-Saiyan nearly falling over herself from the shocking amount of Kai. Not that anyone could say it was in a level bordering insanity - if the other was wearing weights she'd be thinking differently - it was still well over her own power level. Well now, Tariph just went from bored to castrated in a matter of seconds. Aside from the small blow to her pride it was actually pretty cool running into another Saiyan, which helped her feelings on the situation even out a bit into neutral territory.
So after staring for the better part of an entire minute from over her shoulder she decided she may as well try and strike up a conversation. "Hey," She backed up to walk closer, a little ahead, of... could this person be considered a peer? The other could pretty easily crush her skull like a grape without trying... Ow, her pride, that second blow caused her tail to twitch a bit before settling back in its question mark shaped stance. She kept her voice even through the nonexistent emotional pain, "I don't think I've seen you around here before." Thus the beginning of however this relationship will turn out.

Kaula was happily counting all of that nice moola she gained from the person ahead of her. In fact, who was she even following? She glanced up to stare at the rump of the Saiyan ahead of her. "Hm." she muttered as her tail uncurled to take a more 'laxed' position, just hanging. "Got a cute behind, at least." Kaula muttered as she looked back to her money. She also noted the tail. Probably ment that that the woman was a Saiyan. Or possibly a hybrid like her. She stuffed the money into her pocket while one of her hands came to tug her scarf up her fact to cover her cheeks as they became a bit flushed. She was totally thinking only innocent things. Yeah. So for now, she was left in her own little thought world. Giggling out softly. Blushing. She could stay like this for a while.
However.. The other was talking about her! Oh no! She was being dragged back to reality. Ugh. That place was always so lame. Having to share it with other people. She blinked a few times. Her tail twitched once as a hand came up to adjust her sunglasses, the mocha colored saiyan glancing towards the woman. "Well.." she said, shrugging once. "There's a lot of people in cities." however, there was a pause for a few moments. "But.. I'm not from around here." she stated as she continued to inspect the other woman.
Her hands went from her side and simply back into her pockets. She picked her pace up a little bit so she could get a better look at the woman. Hm. She was pretty good looking from the front, too. Now this was a person Kaula found attractive. "My name is Kaula. How about you tell me yours?" she asked, still inspecting the woman. Judging her.. Assets from behind tinted lenses. "Do you live around here? Guessing you do if you can, apparently, know a lot of the people here." she said, "Though I wouldn't mind getting to know you better." she tacked on, giving an unseen wink from behind her sunglasses.

((Bleh, sorry, it's short)) Tariph grinned at the person beside her, examining her with the closer view in response to being examined herself, "Well, I wouldn't say I know everyone in the city, but it's pretty hard to miss a person with a tail." Especially when most of them are trying for some kind of attention, "And the feeling's mutual; my name's Tariph." She had a feeling the other had tacked on some kind of implication, but only going off tone alone she felt she might just be misreading her. "So you say you're not from around here... wouldn't happen to be visiting or anything, would you?" In the back of Tariph's mind she just had to know if this Saiyan only came by to play superhero or villain. If she was going to end up avoiding this person, she wanted to get that knowledge out of the way now as she didn't want to be around either of the two cliches. It would be a shame if Kaula was one of those freaks, she seems kinda cool, never mind that she isn't too hard on the eyes either, but what can you do if that's the case? She internally asks whatever force holds the universe together to not have this pretty one be crazy.
Obviously none of these thoughts showed their way onto her face at all, always best not to judge people too quickly, least they think you're the crazy one. "I'm headed to a fair, if you want you could tag along with me." It would be nice having someone else around at one of those things for once. As they walked the streets and sidewalk slowly crowded up, with cars lining up on the sidewalk and the usual screeches that accompanied excited children while trying to escape their parents' sight by running passed taller people. From where they were standing some of the set up rides could be seen towering over everything while still being miniscule in comparison to the far of buildings in a further distance. They were nearing the outside stand filled with cheap snacks and nick-nacks.

((Psh, it ain't short.)) Kaula was a beautiful saiyan. Well. In her mind, she was. Soft, mocha skin. A long, spiky mane that ran down her back. Her tail, oddly enough, was black. That was usually an oddity when it came to Saiyans, as the tails were normally brown. However, despite the woman's short stature of around five foot, one inch. She still looked rather dangerous. What with the battle armor and sword and what-have-you. "Eh." she started as a hand came up to scratch at her cheek softly, "Kinda true. Not a whole lot of Saiyans around." she muttered. However, when she was question about what she was doing here, the Saiyan hybrid had to think. She wasn't too sure what she was even doing here. "Not too sure, if I'm honest." she'd say as the hand moved to rub at the back of her head, the girl starting to laugh a bit. "I am usually a protector of a.. Sanctuary, I guess it is. But it's sorta my off time. So I guess I'm just exploring areas." she explained. Her eyes however went to wander to the other woman again, apparently named Tariph. She was simply sizing her up for now. Though, one thing did seem to stick out about her. The woman clearly didn't exactly act Saiyan. Then again, most of the Saiyans she met here didn't act like actual Saiyans. Tariph seemed less.. Aggressive.
The Saiyan shrugged slowly afterwards, "A fair..? Sure. I guess." the hybrid said as she started to shrug again. Her tail flicked lightly to the side and she went to step a bit closer to the other Saiyan. "So.. You invited me. Does that mean you are asking me out on a date, miss Tariph?" Kaula asked with a soft giggle, nudging her with her elbow.

Now that she had a closer look, Kaula's tail was a bit odd. Mind you she did meet a Saiyan with a blue tail once so black wasn't anything she would consider shocking. A little exotic, maybe... Her eyes trailed a bit lower before snapping back to the other halfling's face, something like common sense was telling her it's better to be paying attention than staring at a stranger's ass. "A sanctuary protector, ey?" Not as bad as she thought. Tariph's grin widened a bit at the fact that she met someone who wasn't insane for once. As far as she can tell; who know, the crazy might pop up later. Paying that last thought no mind, she hummed playfully at the other's question, swing her arms back so one hand clasped her wrist behind her, "Maybe, I am. If things go alright and we play nice I just might make it official." She let out a faint laughed while nudging Kaula back in return. The curves of her mouth softened into a genuine smile; and being honest, she likes this one.
As they moved closer to the gates Tariph stepped ahead, and once there she paid for both of their wristbands with money from a wallet. When did she get that? Honestly, it's like this girl has some kind of problem keeping her hands out of other people's pockets. While the part of her brain that knows stealing is wrong berates her, she completely ignores it while leading Kaula away from the line and through the gates, "Here, this is so you don't have to pay for a ticket every five rides." She holds out the orange clasp band for it to either be taken or put it on the other girl's wrist herself.
Around them, it was a pretty average fare for a big city like this. Rollercoasters, spin rides, drop rides, and the mix of both. Food vendors were everywhere, some people were wearing costumes resembling aliens, some local aliens were wearing costumes resembling humans, some were dressed in outfits meant to entertain, and some people were dressed like normal. Then there were the space and, obviously, Hercule themed games scattered about. Booths that weren't getting much attention yet were trying to grab people with yelling or gimmicks or simply dragging them to their set up, others already forming lines almost no one but the people in them had patients for.
Tariph put a hand on her waist while surveying everything, "Well this explains all the cosplayers." before a kid who looked around the age of 14 ran past them in a homemade Saiyan warrior outfit. He suddenly stopped and turned to them yelling, "Hey nerds, Saiyan tails are supposed to be brown!" then turned back to continue going on his way. For a moment the halfling was annoyed before she started laughing and turned to Kaula with her thumb pointing in the direction the boy was running, "Serves what he knows, I saw one with a blue tail a while ago."

Kaula normally wouldn't mind when people's eyes trailed to glance towards the amazing behind that was this Saiyan hybrid's glorious rump. It was, very clearly, a thing that should be worshipped and have a cult following. However, she smiled at her when Tariph glanced up to her. She liked this woman. She seemed good, she thought as she went to nod at her answer, "That's right." she stated as they walked along. "I guess I'm kind of like a park ranger or something." she continued as a hand reached up to scratch at her cheek. "Except my park is a city on an island. ... And my animals are people." she added on, chuckling out. She listened to the talk about the whole.. Making it official, causing the Saiyan to blush. It went on her mind, she didn't really mind the girl, as she had only met her. She was certainly pleasing to the eyes. The whole thought of it caused her to smile again, looking off to the side.
She was getting ready to pay for her own ticket, however, it seemed that the girl had gotten it all taken care of! She didn't even think about wether or not the other woman had stolen the wallet or not. Still, after all was said and done, she'd hold out her wrist so the other hybrid could put the wristband on her arm. It was a date, apparently, after all. She glanced at it for a few moments before looking to Tariph. She glanced around, there seemed to be couples all over the place, most likely. She could.. Probably act like that. "Here." she mumbled for a moment as she glanced down, "Let me pay you back." she said before she moved to try to step in close to the other girl, attempting to press her body against the other's. The smaller Saiyan would likely go to get on her tippy toes, if she had to, as her arms wrapped around the girl, her right hand reaching to try to hold onto the back of her head to pull her in for a deep kiss. Oh, Kaula sure was daring. It likely also got a few looks and whispers from some on-lookers as well.
Still, after the kiss, she began to blush a bit as she stepped back. "Sorry if that was sudden." she said with a soft blush. She stuck her hands back in her pockets before she watched the boy shout stuff then simply run off. She eventually looked back towards the other hybrid, blinking. "A blue tail..? Now that's odd." she muttered. She glanced towards the other Saiyan's hands for a moment and looked to her own. If the other one wasn't too creaped out after that sudden kiss, she'd move to try to take the other one's hand as they likely started walking along.
"So. Are you from Vegeta too? You don't have to answer that, if you don't want to. Just a bit curious. Most of the other Saiyans here seem to have never been to our home world. It's kinda weird, if you ask me."

Kaula's description of her 'job' was pretty odd, at least by Tariph's standards... but what did she know, the majority of her free time is spent loafing around and killing animals for one reason or another. Mostly food reasons. The other girl still continued to hold her interest, strangely not as stand offish or tense as most Saiyans she met that aren't from the city, but also not annoyingly hyper or straight up acting like she was dropped on the head like the rest. Still, Tariph wasn't expecting her to blush at her tease, even though it was strangely cute. Took every bit of intimidation she held previously away, which was... a little endearing when she thought about it. Regardless; they only just met a few hours ago, and she wasn't the most experienced with how relationships with her own species worked beyond flirting... okay, any species, not her fault she wasn't interested in learning until just now.
Tariph could feel her tail wrap around her wrist and squeeze while she held in any groans or exasperated actions, not wanting the other Kaula to think she was getting annoyed with her, because really the only thing she was annoyed with was not knowing if she was really picking up any signs or not. And if she was, was that a good thing? Or was that something her mom would try to analyze for hours? Why was she even thinking about any of this right now, they were at a freaking fair, they should be having fun- wait, did she say something? Before Tariph could have an internal struggle by what Kaula meant by that, it looked like the other decided to settle that on coming debate for her. Tariph's mind barely managed to catch up once it realized she'd been pulled into a kiss, and it decided to give up on thinking and just enjoy this sudden surprise. Externally she was stiff with shock for the first few moments before her eyes closed and arms wrapped around Kaula's back to pull them a closer together.
When the other girl stepped back, Tariph did as well, stuffing on hand in her pocket while her tail moved back to its question mark shape, waving a little while her eyes glanced at the ground. She looked up at the apology, "Na, it was great. Only a little awkward." She teased, raising her hand with her thumb and index finger slightly apart; then started laughing as a blush spread across her cheeks and the heel of her hand scratched the back of her head. When the boy ran by ruining... the moment? Awkward tension? One of those, Tariph gave Kaula a little of her own knowledge, "Tell me about it. He was a pretty nice guy, though." Letting her hand be taken into Kaula's, they continued walking past the entertainers and light crowds.
"Vegeta? I'd agree it's weird if I had ever been there myself; sadly I'm just another oddball." Her hand motioned to the people dressed as colorful fluffy balls entertaining a growing crowd of toddlers, "Have you been there? I am a little curious about what it's like, honestly, but then I also wonder if there's a reason so many of us are down here trying to over-crowd this water-logged planet."

The Saiyan Hybrid girl was rather happy that the kiss seemed to work. Well hell, the other girl, while she was rather stiff at first, eventually got into it. Kaula's cheeks were still a rosy red as they sorta awkwardly stood there like school children, who just had their first kiss, for a few moments until she spoke. Her lips went to curl up slowly before she joined in on the laughing with a few soft giggles of her own.
Kaula stood there, just staring into the other hybrid's eyes for a few moments before they started to walk along the fair, hand in hand. She couldn't believe it. She always sorta.. Bragged about being smooth, but she wasn't as smooth as she thought she was. Hell, she only got a few flirts in with a few people anyway, most of the time. Still, she'd try to pull off a rather sly move as her tail moved towards Tariph's, and.. Like a snake, it would strike it's prey! Her own tail went to try to wrap around Tariph's tail, usually something Kaula always thought was a sign of intimacy. It was like holding hands but.. With tails. If this succeeded, the hybrid would move to try to lean against the other hybrid. "Vegeta..? It was a lot different then this planet, that's for sure." she muttered with a chuckle. "It's a lot.." Kaula paused as her mind went to try to think about what the world was like. It had certainly been a while, "The cities have large domes over them.. A lot of the planet is also a wasteland.. But it has such beautiful pink skies.." she muttered with a sigh.
Kaula seemed to frown a bit at that, she was forced to remember her old home. It had been so long since she was forced to leave. She started to wonder how much had changed. Was her mother still alive? If she was, did she still have the same slaves that helped raise her while she was there? She let the gears grind in her head a little bit before she got an idea, "You know.. I could always show you the place. I mean, I've always planned on going there; you know? I need to make sure my mother is alright.. And all. I haven't spoken to her in.. So long." Kaula continued to frown before she finally sighed.
The Saiyan Hybrid eventually glanced up towards Tariph, "We should.. We should go." she said as they stopped in front of a walk in ride, or whatever it was. "I know I just met you and all, Tariph. But I don't feel like I could ask any of my other friends to leave here. We should go to Vegeta!" she exclaimed happily before pausing. ... Wait. Was she coming on too strong? She just asked a woman she just met to run away to a different planet! What if Tariph had family here! Friends! What if she was already dating other people! Blush soon began to spread across the hybrid's cheeks as she glanced to her, "W-.. I-.. Uhh.. S-sorry.. I-.. I should of thought and all.. B-before asking and all.. I mean. Oh geeze, I must look crazy right now. I-.. I'm so sorry.." she said as she tried to let go of the other hybrid's hand.

Tariph hummed at the other girl's description of Vegeta, letting their tails coil around each other's while her head found a comfortable spot on top of Kaula's. Honestly she thought other Saiyans would find entwining their tails to be a weird thing, given the fact it could easily paralyse them if it weren't trained. In the back of her mind she noted some staring but it was mostly in regards to their twisted tails. The one thing she did know about were the domes from a partially unreliable source, but the wasteland and strange sky coloring was new information for her. She didn't say anything when Kaula trailed off, even she could recognise the usual signs of nostalgia, which was probably worse being on a planet so different from her own. Which is why she wasn't too shocked that this nearly completely stranger offered to take her there in the same contemplative thought of seeing her mother. Even if it was just an impulsive thought that didn't stop the half breed from thinking about it. On one hand, even though she just kissed Kaula a few minutes ago - and kinda wants to do it again - they're still very near complete strangers to each other. Then there was Wocane, could he even survive on a planet 10x earth's gravity? Would his body even be able to properly digest the animals there without getting poisoned if he wasn't eaten himself? Would [i[she[/i] even manage there?
After all, it was no secret that Vegeta's inhabitants weren't the most tolerant with weakness, and she wasn't all that strong in any real sense of the word. Which is why she was surprised when Kaula flat out stated they should go, together. Thinking harder, did she have any real reason to go? She only had one to stay, but it wasn't like her pet was so fragile he wouldn't be able to handle himself around Saiyans. What about her parents? Well, in all honesty those assholes are kinda racist and she only hangs around them because they're the reason she doesn't have to pay for every cool thing humans make. They'll probably be okay with it so long as she calls every so often to let them know she's not dead. Really the one reason she wouldn't take Kaula up on the offer was because it might be a trap, but the other girl is clearly as half and half as she herself is and Tariph went out of her way for her presence to be inconsequential to the world at large. All that pretty much changed the question from why go to Vegeta - the one answer being that the trip could be fun - to why not go to Vegeta - which she had no answer to. Talking yourself around in a circle does have a pretty valid purpose when it gets you somewhere, doesn't it?
She couldn't help but fine Kaula's stuttering ramble of an apology kind of cute, and feeling her start to pull away Tariph tightened her grip on the other hybrid's hand, "It's alright, really. Being honest, I wouldn't mind shooting off to see my real dad's planet, and I'd think being alone with a lovely lady for hours would be a bonus, ey?" Smooth as ice at a skating ring. "Speaking of alone..." she looked at the walk in attraction with a sly grin, "I have an idea, come on." She walked along the side of the borrowed building, looking to make sure no one in the crowds were paying attention before she snapped a padlock off the door and forced it open, "After you." She waited until Kaula walked in before stepping inside herself and locking the door, which should at least keep normal people from bullying their way in. The inside was barren but a peek through another door lead down a hall that held the actual attraction. It seemed like the walls were sound proof but, just to be safe, she locked that door too. With that out of the way she leaned over Kaula with a smirk, "Have any ideas on what we can do in here?" After Kaula answered she'd bend down, her hands moving onto Kaula's back to pull the shorter girl into an even deeper kiss if the first advance was successful while her tail moved to wrap back around Kaula's.

Kaula let out a nervous chuckle as the other girl reassured her some. "Heh. It's alright..? Well.. I'm glad I suggested it. Wouldn't mind sharing a ship's bunk with a lovely lady either." she said, a giggle soon following as she gently nudged at Tariph again. However, after she was quickly dragged off and away from the crowds of the fair, Kaula began to blink. Just where was she being taken. Wait! What if this pretty lady was some type of serial killer! Oh no! It was always the pretty ones! This is why she was dragging her away! However, the kiss sort of brushed those thoughts aside, the short, mocha-colored Saiyan starting to blush deeply. "Oh. I have a few ideas.." she'd say before she started to slip out of her vest.
It's about here where the camera would normally pad to the side, some giggles could probably be heard as the screen totally faded to black.
Roughly an hour or two later, Kaula would adjust her vest after she finished getting dressed again. She was without her usual chest armor and sword now, likely having stored them in capsules for now. Meaning she was dressed.. Normally. Well, as normal as a person in weighted clothing could be. "Heh. I think that was more of a workout then when I normally workout." the shorter of the two said with a chuckle. She glanced to Tariph for a few moments, "I take it.. That you totally plan on coming with me to Vegeta? And anything else you possibly feel like doing?" she asked.
((Yeesh. Sorry for the SMALL post. ;-; ))

Tariph was pulling her smoothing her hair back down, one hand in her pocket while she tried to act as nonchalant as she could; but couldn't keep that goofy grin off her face, tail swaying behind her in a curt, almost lazy manner. She looked up from her shoe when she felt Kaula's eyes back on her, the girl's hand lowering when she began to speak, "Totally- I mean, yeah; of course." She let out a bit of an awkward chuckle from the brief loss of volume control, the majority of her cool now lost from the two's earlier activities. The taller of them moved towards the door, forcing her eyes to keep from wandering like she was some bashful little kid, "We could try out the food or games they've got out there. Or the rides, if you're into that kind of thing."
The half-breed cleared her throat as she unlocked the door, waiting for Kaula's go ahead before opening it and holding it out until the other girl passed through. When they reached a line that was selling... something, Tariph just saw there were a bunch of people in it but not enough for the wait to last nearly half an hour, she spoke up again, "So those friends you were talking about earlier, why wouldn't they come along? I mean, aside from Vegeta's reputation and the whole 10 times Earth's gravity thing. You seem like a pretty cool person to hang out with regardless." She shrugged, looking over people's shoulders and blasting anyone in the face who looked like they were about to cut the line. Nothing powerful, just knock them off their feet and give them the feeling that they've been hit by a taser.

Kaula never really smoothed her hair down, most of the time since it was the wild, untameable spiky mess that was her glorious mane. Still, a hand came up to run through it for a few times as she glanced back to Tariph after they exited. "Heh. I'm so good that I can convince other women to leave the planet and go to another one with me." she boasted as she looked to her, smiling at her. Now there were talks of rides.. And food here..? Well, considering Tariph was kind enough to do all that stuff, she might as well spend some time with her. "Well, we could try the food. But I think we were supposed to have dinner first." she chuckled.
Still, after that she walked out, glancing back to Tariph when she asked her about her friends. She paused, poking at her chin with a finger in thought. "Well.. Barkington is a tree.. I don't think he could leave Earth. I think he needs like.. Earth water and stuff. My friends at the magazine company are pretty normal, the stronger gravity would probably hurt them a bit. And Xitica..? She's currently training here with some guy, so I don't want to take her from that. And Reikiko is only a child right now.." she said with a shrug.

Tariph snickered at Kaula's comment, leaning over the shorter girl a little while her nerves seemed to pull themselves back together, "Well it's hard not to be convinced by someone with such a pretty face, isn't it?" Her hand seemed to hesitate for a second, blowing the edging show of confidence the teen had put back up when she stopped herself to mentally debate the action of stroking Kaula's hair. She played the brief pause off with a grin, moving both hands behind her back and clasping one onto the other's arm. Like most people when they've worked themselves into a light bit of nervousness when dealing with another person, she couldn't help mentally berating herself for a pause she was certain no one even noticed. It was kind of annoying feeling this weird when she hadn't just a few hours before, just a cause that came with moving just a little too fast she guessed. Man, how did people manage to do this type of thing so often? She rubbed her neck at the comment regarding having dinner first, shrugging in a careless kind of way as they found a spot in line, "Probably, but we are at a festival. It's kind of what people do..." She finished in a low tone, close to Kaula's ear, "... having dessert before anything else."
She moved back, trying to get a glance at whatever they were in line for among other activities. She couldn't help a snicker as a few scared patrons moved out of the line, probably in fear of getting his with a stray blast. Even though the hybrid had a pretty good hold on her aim, she should probably stop before someone called security to 'escort' them out of the line. Knowing what she should do and why didn't make her stop though, somehow it seemed to make the situation a little funnier. The only reason she did was when Kaula spoke, reminding her she wasn't on her own right now and probably shouldn't try ruining things by being an ass. It was wiser to be an ass if and when you actually knew your date was into that kind of thing.
It was a good thing Tariph had seen enough to know the first thing that came out of Kaula's mouth was possible, otherwise she'd be worried that she had agreed to stay in a confined space with someone who was probably insane for an extended period of time. In space. And on another planet. Okay, she didn't know if talking trees were a thing, but she knew there were weird aliens who could probably pass for that kind of thing. Not too out the box. Not bringing plain humans to Vegeta was also pretty fair, for a lot of reasons, then the only other two were either in a relationship or not of age, respectively. "Huh, so I guess a stranger was one of your only options then. You must have some pretty good standards then if I was your first choice," her arm pressed against the other hybrid's, nudging her slightly, "Your crowd's probably more interesting than mine anyway, I just know a bunch of hood rats and a wolf. You wouldn't mind the wolf coming along, though, would you? He's kinda." She raised up her hand so it was an inch or two under Kaula's chest, "This big."
The hybrid stated that like it was the most normal thing in the world... which it technically was considering the planet they lived on was full of giant, weak, creatures. After Kaula's answer she decided to ask her a little more, it was only natural to want to know more about the person you wanted to hang out with. Maybe go out with officially if they really were your type, so far the shorter girl was doing pretty well in falling into that category. "So you said you had a mom over there on Vegeta, any other family out there you know about or consider family or... something. Something along those lines? Out there?" She seemed to get awkward towards the last bit, unsure if that was an uncomfortably personal question or not, knowing that most Saiyans didn't really care about that kind of thing. At least to her knowledge. To ease her own discomfort, she made a mental note at how fast the line was moving. Really it was faster than she expected without her little 'incentive' but she was still pretty sure people were cutting. Those cheating bastards.
