If there was one thing that could be said about the life of a goddess, then it was the fact that keeping the mortals under your watch happy was one of the most difficult things to accomplish. There was no denying the fact that the people that lived upon the planet known as Earth were a stubborn and demanding folk, and for Reikiko the mere thought of figuring out how to please them seemed to be one of the most difficult scenarios of them all. Then again, why exactly would a bio-android that had ascended into a state of semi-perfection desire to do such a thing? To understand this one needed to look into the recent events that had unfolded. After the conversation with Scargot about the events that had unfolded within West Capitol, and the argument that had followed Reikiko had finally learned to truly control the power she had obtained, allowing her to ascend both in body and mind into a state that was closer to perfection. This everything had led Reikiko to have a different view onto the world, and the people that inhabited it. Perhaps if she was unable to unite the world through force, then perhaps an alternative could be found?
As a lone bird flown down onto the timeless lookout the small eyes of the creature forced onto the two figures that were standing out in the open. At one side, closer to the temple was the Namekian known as Scargot, the wise being that was also known as the divine guardian of the planet, the being the world called 'Kami'. Standing before him was a young woman dressed in a tuxedo. Her long blond colored hair had been neatly tied together into a single ponytail, while at the same time her blue-colored eyes gazed into those of the Namekian as she tried to state her point.
"But Otou-san, after what happened at West Capitol the people of this planet could use a festival."
The Namekian sighed loudly as Reikiko had explained her intentions to him. To think the girl was crazy enough to use the timeless lookout as a part of the festival grounds for her little idea. It was outright heresy! While it was true that a festival would help lift the spirits of the masses, he couldn't help but feel slightly sadden that she misunderstood the importance of a sacred place like the lookout.
"I won't change my decision Reikiko. You can't hold the festival here. The timeless lookout is a sacred place, it has been like this for generations. We can't defile it by turning it into some sort of public attraction."
The blond-haired woman couldn't help but pout a little in annoyance at those words. Scargot was really stubborn when it came to changing his mind, and finally after a long moment of consideration she sighed loudly. If Scargot wasn't going to help her, then she would simply have to borrow the aid of those who were more likeminded than Scargot had been.
"Fine, I'll find an alternative then. I'll be back once I'm done."
And with those words the bio-android ran toward the edge of the lookout, a light leap into the air soon accompanied with a surge of energy as the woman ascended into the air and flew away. For a moment Scargot looked at the disappearing sight of his daughter, before he spoke in a softer tone.
"Besides, the Reikiko games? She surely lacks originality. If it was my choice I would have called it: Kami's trials of awesomeness."
And with those words the Namekian disappeared into the temple. It had taken Reikiko only a few hours before she had convinced Vipoi to lend her a hand with the idea. To him the Reikiko games, when sponsored by the Blue Banner Army would have felt like a method to increase the opinion the common folk had about their new protectors. By holding a festival meant to entertain people, but also ensure the festival happened without any incidents would have been a perfect way for them to become more well-liked. Not to mention the android knew it was a bad idea to let Reikiko get bored.
The plan seemed perfect. Vipoi and several of his strongest subordinates would serve as enforcers during the games, not that Reikiko would have needed any help to eradicate--- ahem subdue any troublemakers it would have been a preventive measurement for anyone foolish enough to disturb the festival. Of course Reikiko wasn't going to complain about the fact that a certain favorite Ensign of her was assigned to help with the preparations of the festival. Hikari had always been a part of the department of the Blue Banner Army that helped manage the more paperwork details of the organization, and contacting the right people, and ensuring the world would know about Reikiko's little idea would have been an easy feat for her.
It was the weekend before the big event that everything was finally set in motion. Various people were walking around the streets of the world, from the large capitols to the smaller villages, and at some point during the early evening every television, computer or even a device like a scouter would have found its current channel to be replaced by the same message.
"Greetings citizen of Earth and alien visitors! My name is Reikiko, and I have a super important announcement to make."
The screen started to gain its focus, showing Reikiko standing before what appeared to be a titanic tower of sorts. Holding a microphone in her hands the disguised bio-android continued her explanation, her lips curved into a sheepish grin.
"Starting from the eight of April a festival will be held upon the Southern islands. This festival, the Reikiko games will be a friendly competition to see who among you all is the strongest, cleverest, wisest and in general the most awesome person of them all! Of course for those who don't like competitions will have plenty of alternatives to do! Aside from various games and events hosted by various local organizations, the Cherry Valley Loft will be providing some of the most delicious catering you can find in the galaxy, and the Blue Banner Army and residential guards will ensure everything remains calm and peaceful."
Soon she stepped aside, gesturing at the giant tower behind her.
"The tower you see behind me will be the site where the first challenge will take place. As soon as you reach the southern islands you should be able to see a large tower in the distance. The tower, build on top of the sea surrounding the islands will serve as the perfect chance to test your skills against both friend and foe alike! Of course, the surrounding islands will be perfect for spectators to observe from. Nevertheless... Anyone brave enough to compete, and walk away with one of the potential prices has to simply get here before the start of the first trial. We will properly start accepting competitors starting from the eight of April, and once enough competitors have arrived the games will properly begin."
And with that the screen faded into darkness... It was on the day of the big event that Reikiko had been standing at the base of the tower, a large platform a small distance away from the tower being the location she had chosen to await the challengers. Her ki presence was at full power, meaning anyone would be able to sense where she was, and upon arriving would spot countless baskets filled with sphere-shaped balls, and a few baskets with silver-colored bracelets to have waited for them.
"Now to wait for the fun to begin~"
------
-For those joining, a few details so far. Once the games officially begins everyone will have up to 2 days to respond, posting order won't matter during the challenges, but you can only post once a 'round' (2 days). Once two days are up I will post and reveal the results of the current 'progress' everyone made, but more details on this later. Basically, try to only join the games (unless you are a spectator) if you can post once every 2 days.
-It has been ruled, no saga so it's just a series of Open Events. Sorry ladies and gentlemen~
-People can enter already and interact as much as they want in between the challenges, but I will attempt to start the first trial (and explain the mechanics behind it) next weekend (likely on Sunday).
-Also Rei is in her human disguise currently, while she looks similar to the 'Chimera' from West Capitol in facial features (albeit a more mature version), her aura feels entirely different, so don't go downright screaming about her identity unless you know Reikiko was the one who helped nuke the city =P
-Each challenge/Trial will cause the creation of a new Event thread where the game will take place
-There will be a spectator thread for those who just want to spectate/watch the event.
-Use this thread as a casual 'talk to each other, fool around and have fun in between the trials'.
Aside from that, enjoy and have fun!
Current Participants: Mu-Kal, Cipher, Pieter, Komoto, Donatsu, Kaula, Nabel, Kiara and Agarutz
To be able to join the games, please contact two other people and join together with them: each 3 individuals leads to a new team.

"The Reikiko...games?"
Cipher raised an eyebrow at the thought. Apparently the bio android had decided to set up a competition and has enlisted the Blue Banner Army as security. A part of him felt a little insulted for the BBA to be reduced to simple festival security. But then he remembered just what this event drew inspiration from. Years and years ago, the first bio android, Cell, had held a similar competition, the Cell Games. Though that was a fighting tournament, while this was apparently a series of challenges, Cipher didn't doubt that this would attract some very strong individuals. Perhaps having the BBA around to keep order made sense.
"I think you should compete."
Cipher blinked, and spun around very quickly to the female android at her side. She looked away from the now black screen to give Cipher a warm smile. "What?" Cipher replied, surprise in his voice. Porsalynne giggled. "I think you should compete. It will be fun. Besides, after what happened in the Western Capital, I think members of the BBA competing would point a more positive spin on you all." Cipher had told her about the operation, among other things. He couldn't help but respect her logic. Though personally he felt PR was more the administrator's department.
"But the BBA is providing security for this event," Cipher reasoned. Though he wished Reikiko had informed them before making this decision. Or, if she had, the administrator inform them. Porsalynne chuckled.
"Oh, the administrator and the others can handle everything fine. Besides, Reikiko could probably handle the security by herself even. I'm sure they wouldn't mind one of their own competing."
Cipher sighed. Again, her logic made sense. Besides, he couldn't say no to that face.
"Very well, I'll compete."
Porsalynne bounced with glee, clapping her hands. "Wonderful! And don't worry, I'll be right there cheering you on!" Hearing that seemed to make the situation much better. "Now then, let's not waste time. Let's get over there."
Cipher nodded. It wasn't long before the two of them were flying through the air (or rather, he was flying and holding onto Porsalynne). Reikiko was really letting her power go, making her more of a beacon than the tower ever could.

"What am I doing here..."
A big burly man, with hair tied back in a long ponytail, tanned skin, an animal skin vest that had been far heavier than it appeared, and animal skin pants had found himself at the the entrance to the massive tower, amongst the crowd. He had been staring up at this tower, which had been sired by the Blue Banner Army, and for what seemed like an hour after he had gotten here, had been staring up at it.
"The last time I was in this land... No. No, I have to go through with this. I am a man of my word. I will redeem myself, whether the world sees it or not..."
The hunter, Pieter 'Karn' Wolfbane, made his way through the crowds, entering the massive tower, and made his way over to what he could tell had been a security area. He gulped, as he made his way over to it. He kept his head low, as he walked through the people to the desk, finding a very heavy atmosphere developing around himself. He found himself at the desk, with a curious guard at it. He asked, "Uh... Can I help you?"
"Uhm... Yes. Please don't freak out when I tell you my name, as I don't want people to be afraid..."
"Ehh-A-aaahh-aaah de-deee-dee-"
"Wait wait wait, please don't freak out! I'm here because I want to make amends for that! I messed up then and I want to help make sure it doesn't happen here," Pieter explained, practically shouting in a hushed tone, "I want to help make this event as safe as possible! My name is Pieter Wolfbane. Can I please talk with the people running this event, in private?"

Donatsu had been training for this event since he was relayed the message from his stylish shades that had been learning more and more from the A.I it picked up from the fissure reactor back in the sand fortress all those weeks ago."We are ready to participate in the games." The shades had recently began talking to Donatsu through the speakers it possessed, this was a big improvement from only being able to display text as it had a week ago. The shades were yet to be named but they talked in a female and robotic voice, almost like a navigation app on a smart phone. Donatsu was still getting use to this but was no longer surprised every time the glasses spoke. Luckily Donatsu had turned off the power sending feature in his scouter, other wise it may have overloaded him with info.
"Your right I'll head there now and destroy the competition, my crimson spirit will carry me to the top!" Donastu replied and took to the sky, his crimson aura surrounding the warrior as he ascended. The idea of showing the world, and his fellow fights his strength was definitely something that interested Donatsu. He was almost at the southern islands, and he could already see the huge tower the ad had spoke of. It was even more grand then the ad had Donatsu believe, his shades also took a picture of the tower for keep sake predicting Donatsu would want to have it analyzed. His shades also sent out a message to the Red Eclipse members making sure they knew of his participation in the games.
After a few more moments of flight he touched down on a small cliff over looking the water that separated the isles from the massive tower. "Soon I'll be at the top, just you wait and see those prizes are mine!" He stood there looking rather stoic as he gazed across the water, his crimson hair and cape flowing against the breeze, and his shades gleaming from his crimson aura.

Komoto, was laying in the desert sand, shooting anybody he saw with his new pistols, when he got a message from Donatsu. According to Donatsu, he was notifying everyone of his participation in the Reikiko games. At first, Komoto didn't care much, until he reread the details of the competition. He then began laughing to himself. Whenever Donatsu started to look as if he was doing something boring, he always finds an incredible find.
Komoto checked his two pistols, Emperor and Coyote, and thought about the fun he could have. The thought was so great, that Komoto put all his ki into speed and flew to the area as fast as he could while laughing like a maniac. Komoto had a job to do, and the games would provide the perfect opportunity.
"Thank you Donatsu!", Komoto said as he continued laughing.
Soon, Komoto could see the location of the games, and it was only a matter of time before the fun began.

Mu-Kal was in his room on the Big Blu, laying on his bed watching a wall mounted TV, when the TV show he was watching flickered out to static before resuming, with a strange blonde girl was on the television, she began explaining about a grand tournament occurring at the large tower to the south, slowly he rose from his bed listening intently to the child? She spoke with wisdom beyond her years yet seemed so young. When the show resumed Mu-Kal was rushing out of his room, grabbing his glider as he left, he rushed up several flights of stairs to the deck of the ship, where he jumped of extending his glider, aiming to the south and beginning his long flight to the tournament of the age. Mu-Kal was determined, determined to win.

Agarutz stood about in uncertainty of what his next course of action would be. As he stood there, he began to hear rumors of games. These games he heard of were no ordinary tabletop board games or Saiyan planet extermination games, but these games were those of a very powerful force. Word on the street had it that they were to take place soon, and that registration opened itself to the public. Well, at least to those willing to endure the tests that presented itself in the form of merry competition. These were friendly games, and the rules even stated punishment for violence against other competitors. "Did you hear? The games will be taking place in just a few days, and the slots are filling up very quickly." Came a voice. Agarutz immediately turned around to see the face of a human. "You look like you are the type to compete. You know, with all those muscles and whatnot. You should join." This startled the young Saiyan as this was the first person to talk to him in a while. Even more surprising was the kind tonality by which he expressed his opinion to the boy.
"Have we met before? I do not recall meeting you ever so it seems very unlikely to me that you should know my level of physical capability." The human stood there, somewhat confused as though he had just been struck over the head with a baseball bat made of the highest quality aluminium material. "I suppose you are right, though. I could use something to do, and from what I have heard the first, second, and third place winners get very rewarding... rewards." A smile came back to the lips of the friendly human. "Now what is the name of this competition. I only heard of it through rumor and spread word." Agarutz studied the figure as he awaited his reply. The man stood with clear lack of confidence. He had nothing to be proud of, and even seemed to recognize his stature as a weakling. Finally the adult's lips parted in order to produce audible sound for his partner in chat.
"The Reikiko Games. That is what they are called, and if you are going to compete in them then I wish you the best of luck. I hope you are used to physical activity without the use of that stuff they call ki. You will not have access to any of it in this one." Without any further word, the man nodded to Agarutz and walked away. "Good day! I'll be cheering you on!" He finalized. That was it. The deal was sealed, and Agarutz would join the Reikiko games at once. He took off in to flight to soon go meet with fate once again. This time we was sure to come out on top. Just as he had back on Planet Vegeta, and just as he will attempt to do in any future conflicts and events he may partake in.

ooc: I was able to get the two people you mentioned to join Rekiko, they should post soonish.
Bigby saw the commercial in his head. He was passing the time as he usually did in his mountain cottage. Slack jawed in a dark room hooked up to the internet in his mind. He had seen this commercial fast, as soon as he did he shot up. He was going to play in those games, he was definitely going to do his best to win. If he could do so perhaps he could get the training from the Kami. Then he would never need to fear for his safety... He was wearing a new suit of skin that he had 3-d printed. It would completely hide his identity, no one would even think he was the same android that had escaped the lab mere days ago.
When he was next to the door he reached for the coat rack. He had two you see, one was a normal white jacket and the other was an incredibly expensive, super swanky pimp jacket that weighed a few tons and had to have it's own special coat hanger. First his hand went on the pimp jacket, then he hesitated. If he had sweat glads he would be using them. He put his hand on the white jacket, picked it up, then put it back. After a few moments of back and forth he donned the practical jacket and set off.
Bigby did not fly off in any direction. He wanted to beat the vast majority of his competitors to the ring who would be flying normally. He flew directly up, the rockets in his feet taking him right where he wanted to go. By the time Bigby had arrived in space his internal reactor was whining at how much Ki he had used to get up here. He started plotting his destination, he flew quite a far ways in his stable orbit until he was over the zone that would be where the games were in a few hours. He entered shut down mode to recover his energy.
The trip down was far more easy on him. His jacket was completely frozen along with the rest of his clothing that was not facing the sun. He would have gotten a terrible sun burn if his skin was real. He descended down, down. Right down until he spotted the woman and the tower. He eventually touched down, way ahead of all of his competitors, just a few feet away from the baskets of bracelets and balls. Which he immediately started analyzing to the best of his ability. He waved hello to the person waiting for him and shook off his still wet clothing which was a bit moist after his slow reentry.

Post by Kaula on Apr 10, 2015 16:20:35 GMT
Kaula had already been wandering around the Southern Capitol, having just recently finished jogging for the day, so the mocha-colored Saiyan was clad in some simple gym shorts and a tanktop for now. Good thing she lived in such a tropical paradise. She was about to head back to where she was staying when she stopped in front of an electronics store. They had a window full of those TVs. She never really understood them, no really. She never understood how they worked. She just assumed that little people stood in there and did everything for normal-sized people's entertainment. It was currently showing different shows on each screen. However, they all soon changed.
"Why are there so much of the same tiny lady..?" she thought to herself with a soft mumble, "And.. Games.. A tower..? Southern Islands." she was in the southern islands! Oh hey, she was already damn close. And that she was, she could see the giant tower in the distance, but it still wasn't just a walk away. She'd probably have to take a boat. She could fly, but Kaula frowned at the thought of that, deciding to keep her feet on the ground for now, as she started to simply jog her way in that direction, determined to get there.. But at a reasonable pace, "I can.. Probably just borrow a boat. .. Or make someone give me a ride. ... Yeah. That'll work."

(Heavy Weights On) (Thread PL: 2,461,952 (With Weights: 615,488))
Vi-Poi stood in the sweltering and crowded engine room of the old makeshift junk that bobbed through the lazy waters of the Southern Sea. The large arrowhead sail had been punctured by a flying school of juvenile rays that had suddenly burst from the blue waters, reducing the vessel to motorized propulsion only. People grumbled and complained in the close heat of the packed boat, but this was tempered by everyone’s excitement for the Reikiko Games. After the Blue Banner’s Liberation War, this was seen by many as a sort of victory party, or at least a way to divert themselves from the gravity of recent events.
The blue-haired android was wearing an old and frayed Red Ribbon cap over his head, the bill tucked low to shadow his face, lest he be identified too easily by the airwave-consuming public. He still wore his dark and sleek battle armor, but this was partially obscured by a glossy blue fisherman’s coat he wore over his shoulders. He could have flown straight to the competition’s tower or island base in a sliver of the time this plodding, ponderous ship had made, but he wanted to get a general feel of the public. A leader who’d lost the sense of their people was no leader at all, but a dictator.
His bright blue eyes were focused on the large iron engine of the ship, which was bleeding oil from several places and spewing up unhealthy gusts of black smoke. His Heads Up Display gave it a cursory review. Its bearings were shot, and the strain of pushing the laden boat without wind power would soon cause the whole system to collapse.
“Bread and circuses.” The grizzled old mechanic servicing the engine grumbled loudly. “That’s all this is.” He said, waving a large crescent wrench around him. “They took over the planet and ransacked the world, and now they’re gonna take our minds off it.” He returned the wrench to its work, and seemed to be struggling with a large steel screw that had seized in the block.
“Let me help you with that.” Vi-Poi offered, leaning over. He took the end of the wrench in a tight fist and gave it a pull. The screw burst loose from its bearing.
“Thanks, kid.” The grey-bearded mechanic said with a chuckle. “Ya got that young spark. Guess I lost that.” He took the wrench back and moved to another screw, this time spraying it with a mist that Vi-Poi’s sensors detected as a mixture of diethyl ether and hydrocarbon oil. “Yep. Bread and circuses, as I was sayin’.” He said, peering over at Vi-Poi with rheumy, clouded eyes before shifting back to his work. “All this talk of ki science and super aliens, giant rampaging monkeys, that’s all a bunch of mumbo jumbo and nonsense. Giant flying monkeys!” He exclaimed with a scoff. “They can make anything happen on television, these days. Computer graphics, and whatnot. Holograms. I was in the old military, you know…”
“Were you?” Vi-Poi asked with some interest.
“Yep. First Division, special forces. Combat engineer. Served in the frontier Mercenary Clan rebellions oh some thirty-odd years back. All this ki stuff, it’s a big psychomalogical operation to control the masses and make us welcome the aliens they want us to welcome, let me tell ya. Some of these aliens got alotta stuff we want.” He said, rubbing a calloused thumb and forefinger together suggestively. “In the special forces, I’ve seen every sorta explosion there is to see. Never saw anything like that big lightshow they threw up over the West Capitol when them Blue Banner terrorists came calling. It’s all magic tricks and movie wizardry.”
“I see.” Vi-Poi said. Humanity’s ability to delude themselves and deny what was right in front of them never ceased to amaze him. It was a quality that was very dangerous for a dominant, environment-shaping species to possess.
The mechanic grunted and gave a yellow-toothed grin as the next screw came out rather easily. “Hee hee! Got some strength left in me after all.” He said, opening the casing to give the entire inner-workings of the motor a liberal dousing of the aerosol grease. “And this ol’ engine has some life in her yet.”
“We’ll be landin’ on the island shortly!” The junk pilot yelled from the stern above. Several in the crowd whooped and cheered in response.
Vi-Poi turned to go, but the mechanic caught him by the arm. “Yer gonna play their games, aintcha?”
Vi-Poi nodded, pulling the brim of his Red Ribbon cap lower.
The mechanic chuckled. “I could tell. Got that twinkle in yer eye. Whelp. Good luck, win some money, and thanks for the hand.”
Vi-Poi waved to the mechanic and went on his way. He wove through the crowded engine room and ascended the rickety stairs into the radiant tropical air. The deck was every bit as crowded as the hull had been, and people were crowding along the port railing to peer off at their destination. A verdant island curved welcomingly in the distance. Its harbor teemed with ships of all sorts, and a large plane was landing on some unseen airstrip beyond. It seemed half the world had flocked to these games. He took note of a few Blue Banner Army gunships hovering in the air around the island. Software alerts suddenly splashed on his Heads Up Display. He was in-range with the Blue Banner wireless servers that were zonally broadcasting festival admissions. Vi-Poi smiled, and signed up to compete. The games would be an intense and rigorous exercise, he knew, completely different from general ki competition that most of his kind experienced.
In truth, he was more excited to see his friend again -- excited, and somewhat anxious. He’d been away from Reikiko since obtaining his Tuffle Reactor. He wondered what she’d think of him and his newfound power, now. He’d heard that she’d grown a bit of a goddess complex since their victory over the Super Saiyan, and this worried him somewhat.
There were no gods.

Lady Death pinches the bridge of her nose. Why did she feel as if she was going to degrade herself in some form if she entered this bloody competition?
Still, she didn't have much else to do, and besides; she was bored.

Doctor Kouda had just ripped the last piece of flesh from what appeared to be a human leg. His communicator began to boop boop which caused the other Litts that were sitting around the campfire to look up from their food. Kouda booped a button on his personal communicator and a hologram displaying Kouda's inbox of messages sprang up. At first he thought that the new message was another one of Komoto's annoying messages but appeared as if Komoto had recently just forwarded to him some planet wide message.
He opened the message and video automatically began playing.
"Greetings citizen of Earth and alien visitors! My name is Reikiko, and I have a super important announcement to make."
He let the message play out so that his peers could listen before returning to his lab within the ship wreckage. He uploaded the video to a larger monitor and played it again. This time he watched the background and the person speaking carefully, searching for details by pausing the video and zooming in on certain parts of the screen. He had suspicions that this might be a trap of some kind. He walked over to his armory and pulled his layered red cloak from off a rack. If what the host announced was all true, then these Earth "games" would prove to show a large gathering of the planet's strongest fighters. It would be quite easy to observe their skills there. A few of the contestants might even bump heads at the event.
"How very convenient..."
Kouda went to the control panel beside Pah'mazhan's tank and entered in a series of commands. He would need to speak to his associates about this new matter as soon as possible.
He pulled the hood of his cloak over his head and exited the lab. It would be a long flight to the Southern Islands.

The South Capitol was not Nabel's favorite place in the world. And considering how the impound he was forced to fight puppies (and kill) in was located here (among other things), it might have been his least favorite. Wait, no. That sounds too positive. Hmm, how does one explain this? Ah! Let's use a visual representation. If South Capitol had a face, Nabel would stab said face with a twelve inch blade. Then he'd fillet it's skin, turn that skin into leather, and turn that leather into a jacket, a jacket which he would then burn in a fire, a fire made out of burning remains from the rest of South Capitol's body. You know, I just realized that there's a much simpler work-around to this explanation. Nabel absolutely despised the city. To the demon, the city's self-destructive underbelly of crime was not overshadowed by the glimmering warm metropolitan atmosphere. The place was filled with scum, and not the kind that Nabel agreed with. But still, he was obliged to scout the area. Lady Kiara was interested in participating in the Reikiko Games, and so was he actually, but that wouldn't stop him from hating this place. "Besides, it's also cutting into my time for looking for her" Nabel muttered as he landed by a small van. "I guess I'll have to get back to that after these games then, eh?"

Nai-Ran stared up at the tower that stood near the festival grounds. It was a rather impressive piece of architecture. So this was where the ‘Reikiko Games’ were to be held? There was some kind of big announcement about them a couple of days ago. While the Ryashi hadn’t caught it herself, ROSE definitely had. Her android companion had been awfully insistent that Nai-Ran go and check out what all the fuss was about. She wasn’t exactly sure why the synthetic girl was so interested, but the serpentine lass just chalked it up to her being overly excitable. She had to admit though, they sounded like fun. ROSE had stated that they were open to alien visitors as well. Sure, why not?
The Ryahsi’s trip to the Southern Islands had been unpleasant, as usual. She felt a lot better now that she had actually arrived, but why did there have to be so much water in between the festival grounds and the mainland? The young woman was tempted to figure out who would be in charge of possibly constructing a bridge between the two land masses, but she knew herself better than that. It wouldn’t have mattered how structurally sound such a bridge might have been. Nai-Ran would be paranoid the entire time about it breaking at just the right moment for her to be plunged into the sea. She was never going to get over her immense dislike of water...
The crowd of people who were mingling around the tower was pretty massive. ROSE hadn’t been kidding when she said that the broadcast might have gone out to every electronic device on the planet. There were so many people! Nai-Ran wasn’t sure how many were there to compete and how many were there to spectate, but was admittedly just looking out at everyone was a little daunting. So far her appearance hadn’t made the best first impression with most of the bipedal beings on Earth. Somehow putting herself in the spotlight didn’t sound like the wisest of ideas. There was no backing out now though. The young woman had already braved the boat ride to get here. It would be a waste not to at least try to show what she was made of. Now she just had to figure out where it was that she signed up for the games...

[Heavy Weights on] [Pl = 38,388]
Zexama sat in the comfy chair that Wyntre has given her on the ship, it was quite comfortable to sit on, she was currently watching a TV show about how fast people could eat candy, Zexama occasionally threw a handful of candy, ranging from jelly beans to smarties. With a quick tap of the chair she was sitting on, she changed the channel and what was being displayed on the magical device, she kept changing it before Reikiko's face appeared on the screen, Zexama sighed as she listened to the announcement that Rei was giving.
"Greetings citizen of Earth and alien visitors! My name is Reikiko, and I have a super important announcement to make."
She listened on and nodded her head at the information that she was receiving, with a quick swallow of jellybeans she stood up and grew her Heavy weights on, her pace was a tad slower than normal but it didn't do much, she started to fly up before going through one of the trap doors at the top of the ship, accidentally forgetting to re-establish the air-lock, whoops. She flew into the sky and pushed some buttons in her mouth, (the arcosian battle amour) and a screen popped up, it tracked down the signals that were being given off by the radio station that Rei was at and she flew to that direction.
With a loud shout she smashed into the wall of the radio building and confronted Reikiko once and for all. "I'm ready! Does the winner get a candies?" Zexama cted all cute like the little Zexama she was, she didn't even watch all of the news feed stuff that Reikiko was giving, all she knew was that there might be candies involved, and that was good enough.
