Kiara had a hard time understanding what exactly was going on. Apparently, Jerry had a very questionable friendship with a girl who also was not a girl but in fact a grown woman of sorts. Secondly, she was invited to a social situation that only high lighted the fact that she was not normal. All beings could eat on some level in a normal sense but Kiara could not or at least it offered her no benefit too besides it's taste. But even the best food wasn't worth the hours she'd spend attempting to throw it up. So instead she usually stuck to liquids as her body handled liquids quite well and their taste only added different flavors to blood. Still, Kiara supposed it wouldn't hurt to make a new ally if this woman could be counted on to be such or at least to know who her enemy in the future may be.
Kiara watched in a little more than mild interest as she seemed to turn garlic bread into candy. Though, now that Kiara accepted her choice to accompany Nabel and Zexama to dinner did she realize how under dressed she was. She then heard the last of Nabel's statements followed by the question about the state of princess Aria. She quickly looked around quite surprised to realize Poltergeist was gone though he or she did not technically belong to Kiara; Kiara had grown quite used to having both of them around to the point she barely recognized their comings and going. Luckily, Kiara could tell Nabel was quite trustworthy so she did not hold him as close under her ray of endless suspicion. "Weird, now where did Mr. Poltergeist run too? Hmm? Oh, I suppose Aria will find this break she's receiving to be quite refreshing."
She seemed rather out of it for a moment before her mind snapped back to reality. It was another effect of being alive in a human body for so long that her mind had a hard time staying in the present. The slightest smell or emotion could drum up a rather vivid flash back that often times melded with reality. This place was quite nostalgic for her meaning she must have been in this establishment before. "Thank you for you generosity. . . I'm sorry I don't know your name." She said addressing Zexama who still had not been introduced to Kiara. As the waiter asked her for her order she merely ordered a large cookies & cream milkshake and their strongest drink." The waiter gave her an odd look before jotting down her order and moving on to either Nabel or Poltergeist who'd suddenly materialized.
