Even though he was an android, and thus resistant to the cold like an ordinary human, Cipher couldn't help but shiver as the cold wind seemed to blow right through him. His white clothing caused him to almost blend in with the snow falling around him. Why was he even here again?
Oh, right. Because they thought there might be some sort of magical artifact buried in the wasteland, and since Cipher seemed better equipped for the for the cold than most, he was the one sent out to investigate. The android resisted the urge to grumble bitterly. Why couldn't they just send a regular recon team out here? It wasn't as if there was any real danger here, with the possible exception of frostbite.
The android looked around, his face blank. All he could see was white, white and more white. And the weather was making it difficult for his scanners to really detect anything. The android sighed. Guess it was time for him to start digging around in the snow.
"This is Cipher 24 to Big Blu," he said over the communicator, trying to keep the irritation out of his voice, "I have arrived in the Gizzard Wasteland, commencing initial investigation of the area."

It seemed like only a second ago the Gizzard Wasteland had been covered in snow.. It used to be a brown, rocky area but now it had been engulfed in a terrible snowstorm. Everything was just ice… Even the rocks looked pretty.
He was standing on one of them, and the snow had made a streak of white through his hair. The tiny bit of water the wasteland had had now turned into ice. Zucar had gotten an idea earlier; training in deep snow would be close to gravity training.
He was really straining his body… About 3 fights in one week. Using his Ion Cannon all the time didn't help, either. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!
Wait, what? His scouter had recognised a certain power level and picked it up. The android! His power… Increased! I have to admire him…
The training he must have done… And… Heh. I almost think of us as rivals. The android was only 3 miles away, something that he could cover in minutes.
Zucar jumped out of the snow and onto the ground. What he didn't expect, however, was that he would land 4 feet into the snow, which was pretty deep. “Agh!”
Zucar tried to get his feet out of the snow, but it was very deep. He could try and jump out, fly off. That's what he did.
Zucar jumped up very high into the air, and flew off as quick as he could before he fell down again. He was swallowed by an aura of red ki, and that made him go super fast. Yeah, super fast.
In 5 minutes, Zucar had arrived at the android's location. “I see you have increased a lot in power. I admire you. The training and effort you must have put into it.” Zucar smirked, “You must get an extra boost since you're an android, after all.”
Regardless of what he responded with, Zucar saw that this snow was less deep than the snow near his rock. He also saw that the android was looking for something. “What's it that you're looking for? And I never got your name last time.”
He stood there, arms folded, awaiting for a response.

Damn this snow storm! Cipher wasn't sure if the extreme weather was messing up his scanners, or if there wasn't anything at all in this place. A part of him wanted to go back and wait for better weather, but he was pretty sure he couldn't use the weather as an excuse to stop a mission. After all, he had just been in a small war, AND took down a gigantic colossus by himself. Compared to that, this was nothing.
Though he wasn't expecting this. Over the howl of the wind, he heard a familiar voice calling to him. A voice that caused him to sigh and roll his eyes.
The android looked over, seeing the Saiyen from the Western Capitol. What the heck was he doing out here? Probably some training or something of the sort. Now Cipher REALLY wasn't happy to be out here. Why did he have to be here of all places.
He looked over at the Saiyen, checking his power level with his sensor array. He had gotten stronger, but it was still nothing compared to how Cipher was now. Surely the Saiyen would be able to tell that. He did seem to have a scouter of his own after all.
"If you must know," Cipher responded to his question, "My name is Cipher 24, and I'm here on business. I'm scanning this area for potentially magical artifacts. If it weren't for this damn weather though..."
Why was he telling him this? Well, if this guy wanted to try and stop him, Cipher would easily deal with him.

The android had looked over to Zucar. The snowstorm was stronger here, even though the snow wasn't deep. The android didn't respond for a while, probably checking the androids power level.
The android rolled his eyes, then told Zucar the answer to his question, "If you must know," the android responded to his question, "My name is Cipher 24, and I'm here on business. I'm scanning this area for potentially magical artifacts. If it weren't for this damn weather though..."
Zucar nodded, "Are you sure it's around here?" "And by the way, no, I don't want a fight." He smirked. "At the city, I was looking for some thrill.. You were the only power level close to mine."
Zucar couldn't help but notice the android was looking for something. "Heh. What is it exactly you're looking for?" Zucar looked around him, only seeing some snow, big pillars and icy lakes.

Well, at least this saiyen had the sense to know that he couldn't beat him in a fight. That was one less annoyance that Cipher had to deal with. All that was left then was to find any trace of magical artifacts here in this place and he could go. He felt he had more important things to do than to be out here.
"Like I said, I'm here to see if there's any evidence of magical artifacts. The Blue Banner Army collects them. We haven't searched this area, so they sent me out to do a scan. Though personally I'm starting to think this was just a fools errand. So if you wouldn't mind..."
Cipher continued to scan the snowy region, his scans still turning up nothing. If there was nothing here, that would be fine, but the weather was messing with his readings, and he knew the administrator would want to be one hundred percent certain there was nothing there.

The android kept looking around him, digging through the snow. Why is he so dedicated? "Like I said, I'm here to see if there's any evidence of magical artifacts. The Blue Banner Army collects them. We haven't searched this area, so they sent me out to do a scan. Though personally I'm starting to think this was just a fools errand. So if you wouldn't mind..."
Zucar snickered. He was so bored, and that guy did give him a good fight. Least he could do was help. "You need any help here? Figured since you gave me a good fight, it's the least I can do."
Zucar looked around him. His scouter might be able to scan the area and find it... He looked back at Cipher.
"My scouter'll be able to scan the area. And if it doesn't we can cover more ground with two people." Zucar stood there, arms folded, tapping a button on his scouter. It sent out a signal, and picked up three items.
"There's three out here. 3 items of interest. I'll take a look at this one over here," Zucar dashed off to another bit of the snow. Yelling over the blizzard, he said some more words. "THE OTHER TWO ARE WITHIN 7 METERS OF YOU!"
He started to dig at the snow. This is a deep one. Digging more and more, he hit a hard surface.
He tugged at it, finally breaking it loose from it's.. Well, snow cage. It was a lock box. "THIS WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR?" He asked.

Cipher gave a sideways glance at the saiyen's scouter. He made a mental note to get his sensor array augmented when he returned to base. This model seemed to be able to pinpoint objectives more easily in such weather.
He touched down quietly in the snow, beginning to dig around through it. He was really beginning to dislike snow, as the cold was almost painful on his hands. That saiyen had better not be lying to him, or he was going to be on the recieving end of a Pale Lance, and with its upgraded power, it was going to do more than just graze the saiyen this time.
His sensors managed to pick up something before he heard the saiyen calling out to him. He walked over to him, spotting the lockbox in his hands. His sensors picked up something inside, but he wasn't sure what. And he wasn't prepared to risk breaking what was inside by breaking open the box.
"This could be. I'll take it back with me for further study," he said, taking the box from him.

The Saiyan's scouter was the newest model of the series. It was much more advanced than any other sort of 'scanner', and Zucar was proud to own it. He held the lockbox, and went to open it.
Unfortunately, the android had come over and taken it from his hands. "This could be. I'll take it back with me for further study," Zucar scanned around the area again, and spotted the other two items of interest.
"What about them two?" He pointed to the other possible magical artifacts. He flew over to the other two... things... He dug into the snow, and picked up what seemed to be a cracked bit of metal.
It seemed to have something inscribed into it, and Zucar was certain that this was one of the magical artifacts Cipher was looking for. He flew back over to Cipher, and looked at the two cracked pieces. "These have some ancient words inscribed into them... I'm sure these are the stuff you're looking for."
He offered them to Cipher. "Here." He turned away, and then looked back.
"When I grow stronger, I expect us to finish that fight." "You better not die, either." He laughed, then flew away at astonishing speed.

Cipher quietly studied the two artifacts that the saiyen had given him. The ancient writing did hint at something magical, or at least historical. Some further study would be required before they could tell for sure. And there was still the lockbox as well.
He glanced up at the saiyen as he spoke, expecting another battle again with him. Cipher wasn't really sure how to react to this. He could defeat this guy no problem. It seemed almost unfair in a way. But if that was what he wanted. He watched the saiyen fly away, disappearing into the snowstorm before he looked down at the items in his hands again. Well, he had been sent here to collect magical artifacts, and that's what he now had. He could return to base and get out of this blasted cold.
Without another word, he kicked off the ground and began to fly away, trying to ignore the snow as it swirled around him.
