Good evening everyone. After having been occupied with a certain daydream for hours I decided to ask a curious little question: How far are we allowed to flavor our transformations?
An Extreme example could be to play an Arcosian system-wise, who in a suppressed form looks human, but in their transformations end up turning more into a monster like an Arcosian would.
Now a more serious example:
I been toying with the idea of a character who belongs to an unholy union between a Saiyan and a Succubus (Female Demon), with a little story surrounding the succubus having seduced the Saiyan with the promise of power and such.
As a result my character could be considered a Demon/Saiyan hybrid, but on terms of flavoring, how far are we allowed to go?
This is an example of my idea surrounding a flavored transformation:
Super Saiyan > Yami Sūpā Saiya-jin (Dark Super Saiyan)
Instead of obtaining the regular golden hair that spikes up the character has a crimson red colored hair coloration (albeit spiked up like a Super saiyan), an obsidian black colored aura and heterochromia colored eyes (in her case one being the teal color a normal super saiyan has, and the other a yellowish golden as a sign of the demonic influence).
Is such a thing possible for a Saiyan, does it belong as a hybrid or more something of a custom race?

I mean..I suppose it's not bad at all. I'd give it an okay, sure.

And arcosian looking like a human would not really be desirable(since arcosians are not humans, making it sounds more like an excuse to exploit the advantages of a different race without being that race), you'd require some sort of disguise technique to hide your appearance like that, or alternatively, if they're some sort of human arcosian mash up they'd fall under bio-android. and yes you can customise like in your demon-saiyan example. However, you already have a character and I strongly recommend you stick with them. We'd much prefer one good, dedicated well played character than multiple mediocre or worse poorly played characters . You'll always get character ideas, but don't get too wrapped up in the compulsion that you 'have' to make them, it's a trap some people fall in to and their quality always suffers noticeably as a result.
