My suggestion is that we start setting up SPACE! And first, we set up Otherworld, and next, VEGETA! Other World - Check in Station
- - Heaven
- - Hell
- - Snake Way (Only way for non-champions of a Kai to go to Hell that is good.)
- - Other World Stadium
- - Furnace of Eight Divisions
- - Yemma Forest (Holds Yemma trees, which hold Ensenji)
- - Chamber of Fallen Souls
- Heaven
- - Silent Forest
- - Meadows
- - Training pits
- - Northern Kai's World
- - Southern Kai's World
- - Eastern Kai's World
- - Western Kai's World
- - Grand Kai's World
- - Sacred World of the Kais
- - Planet Kaishin - Home world of Shin-jin
- Hell
- - Bloody Pond
- - Enma's Frozen Caves
- - Soul Cleansing area
- - HFIL Amusement park
- - Pin's Mountain
- - Main Area (Giant crystal ball in the middle)
Any where I miss, any suggestions/thoughts? Should certain locations have limits to entry, etc?
Chamber of Fallen Souls idea - A fallen foe from the past, ones canon to DBZ can show up and a staff member will RP as them. A battle will happen, and if the foe wins, they gain a PL boost, or a Zeni Boost, 5K? Impossible to die from this battle, but this battle system works like this - Health = Power level times 2 If anyone goes under this, they are considered defeated. Foes are at whatever PL the user wants, but must be within +85% PL Base. All transformations of the foe are gained, but they may only use it to go back to 85% of the user. If the foe is willing fully increased to 125%+, gain a extra 1K boost, and for every +50% after that, increase the boost by another 1K.
Thoughts?

Should we include planets of each of the kais in the afterlife?

New idea added that might interest people, and will make the thread not just a "this location" thread, and some actual discussion to be started.

I think Vegeta and Arcose should be set up at the same time, to make it cooler.

I think that adding another staff-driven feature might be difficult to implement given our current resources. However, there is a train of thought that Zasho suggested to me: afterlife NPCs will be roleplayed on an admin account, and the 'grade' would be added to that staff members actual character.

Mmmmmmmmmmm... I see both sides of this argument, as I'm actually doing a thing in a campaign with friends, where we're taking the average of the highest and lowest exp gains and giving the current dm-player those points to them for doing the session. In THAT environment, it's more controlled, but here... Here, it's a tad different.
Yes for Staff gains via rping NPC: The NPC player is having their own respective character on the site training elsewhere. In which case, it makes sense.
No for Staff gains via rping NPC: This is not their character. This is a character that is not in their possession, and though the efforts are admirable, this is an environment where the staff shouldn't be able to gain power by doing nothing but NPC stuff.
There is, however, manageability with this. It IS possible that the NPC duty is a once a month deal on the staff account. However, it must be made apparent that the player character is showing up frequently, so that enemies can make moves against them, to eliminate them via incapacitation of the bones/+muscles/+nerves or through killing them. This, though, seems like a misconstrued way of still giving us staff the ability to not show up... It's problematic and perhaps should be avoided this route.
On another hand, though...! If the site, as a whole, agrees to staff getting a benefit for taking the time and effort to rp out a battle against a character, whether an OC on here who's died or a canon character, what COULD be done is that their next thread yields double gains. It must, once again, be a once a month deal. The staffy must post in a specially designated thread that the whole site can see, of when they've satisfied this claim. THIS WOULD NOT, I repeat, WOULD NOT STACK WITH ANY ITEMS THE PLAYER HAS BOUGHT AND A LIMIT ON PL GAINED IS 7500! Meaning, at maximum, a 3500 word training thread.
Massive? I think not. Compared to what you can do with Gravity, Weights, and Houses, which don't have a cap on how much you can gain, this would be reasonable.

Or, simply, the NPC interaction thread could have reduced gains to the usual; 50% or 75%.

Neat to see some thought being given towards otherworld Looking at the OP though the amount of sections are a little excessive XD Lots of places can exist, but giving them each a forum sub-category is a bit much. By all means many of these areas could be said to exist, but I don't think we'd set a section for them. I gotta admit, I love that this is a player driven site that avoids NPCs, that the other person is a legitimate character who has earned their place fairly. I also like that we are OC based instead of canons - that we have essentially a veto on direct canon references, everything is played with a sly wink and it's that clever/amusing subtlety which really appeals to me. I don't know, it's almost the child-like giggle of being 'in' on the reference. An example of this was was imp-type human Chimi and 'The Great One', a legendary figure amount his people. So I think, instead of being some admin driven NPC... thing, you could just choose to do such threads as a rare solo, and keep the implication about who this 'mysterious figure' might be shrewd and unspoken. - On the topic of other world suggestions, I think that people should have a training requirement before they can come back - as in you need to earn X amount of pl while there to earn your 'freedom'. It would encourage people to interact with elements in other world or develop a few personal plot lines (much like goku's misadventures on his way to king kai), and avoid people reappearing almost instantly after death, while still being fair and concise . --- (19) [tracking for myself so I don't miss any threads]
