Hello WOD, Scargot, Koramund, and I would like to offer ourselves up for training to become moderators. We have completed the preliminary requirements and we have been asked to put each of our candidacies up to a vote for the community. Please vote yes or no for each candidate.
None of the candidates have negotiated a certain position, we have all offered to help in whatever way is needed from us.

Well thank you Pipa.. Wow I didn't think up a speech, this is all happening really fast. I do have experience on multiple forums with moderating and grading of threads. I have a lot of time on my hands so I can be very active. I am willing to do anything to help this forum as I have kinda fallen in love with the place and everything it stands for.
In Short I promise to be very democratic as our great forum is. Please vote Yes on Scargot for Mod. Thank you.

Well, I should take some responsibility for this eh? I do not have moderator experience in the slightest, but I am the type of person who is willing to learn and has free time on their hands. Seriously, I am balancing this, and another RP site, and I still have hours of nothing to do, so I think some people can understand my confusion at that. My favorite Shoenin are two, Naruto and Dragon ball Z, and I actually watched a large amount of the movies, and as such I get the crazy ideas for Koramund being the Bio-monstrosity he is. I have been roleplaying for about 4+ years, and I do admit I get confused on some things, which is why I ask lots of questions, I want to understand things from more then one side, so I can be as fair as possible, and possibly learn more. So yup, the Video game guy has arrived.
I have been trying my best not to be punny, but I do not think its working. Thank you for reading - Koramund

Ha, don't take it personally, while I can't vouch specifically for why people might have voted against increasing your responsibilities, there can be a number of factors(some of it even potentially being people just 'not knowing you enough', that has come up sometimes before in these votes). In this case, I'd say introducing yourself and explaining your motivations and why you think you are a good candidate is even more important than ever  Even if it doesn't change peoples minds it demonstrates what sort of person you are and why you put forward. I would clarify however incase people are unsure - This vote isn't a 'competition' where 'winner gets to be mod'. Treat each candidate vote as entirely separate and cast based on if you feel that individual is up for receiving increased responsibility to help with this sites operation. The poll was just combined to make it easier  |
