"You damn birdy bastard!" The Varga, the Time Patrol, were used to dealing with all sorts of threats. Threats to the very fabric of time itself. But they were not prepared for the wrath of a crazy little girl, as this one particular Varga was finding out. "Charlene! Let him go!" Porsalynne cried out, trying to pull her daughter off of the struggling avian. "How much did he pay you!?" the girl shouted out, almost throttling the bird alien if her hands could wrap around his throat, settling for shaking him, "I know he paid you off! What did he offer you? Money? Women?...Men?"
"Charlene!"
Charlene paused at the voice, before she was suddenly pulled off of the judge by Cipher 24. The pale android gave his daughter a glare as he set her down next to his mother. Meanwhile the Varga took the chance to flee the crazy child. "But Dad!" Charlene protested, "We both know Vipoi bribed the judges! How else did he get chosen instead of you." "Nobody was bribed," Cipher replied sternly, "The judges made their decision, and that's final. Getting upset and attacking the judges is NOT going to help matters." The girl visibly deflated, her righteous anger giving weay to a somber expression. Cipher sighed and gently placed a hand on her head. "Don't let it get to you dear. It's just a tournament. Nothing important was lost or anything like that." He squatted down as he gave her a smile. "Besides, now I have time to enjoy this place with you. And if you really want satisfaction for all this, we can go watch Vi get his butt kicked."
Charlene gave a small chuckle as a smile appeared on her face. "Yeah, you're right Dad. Sorry about that." Cipher smiled and stood up, petting her head. "It's ok. You were only doing what you thought was right. That's a good trait to have." He turned to Porsalynne, who was smiling at him warmly. Cipher could deal with the loss. He had his family. That's what was important. "So, let's see what sort of food they've got here."

"Damn judges," Marx grunted as Plato Marx and Demetrius walked with each other. Seemed they didn't really understand the difference in damage. He supposed this Zucceta would sell more. Plato and Demetrius didn't mind that much, it was a fight and it was over. Plato paused as he heard some voices arguing with someone asking the Varga if he had paid them off. He just listened in though he knew the voice from somewhere before. Then he heard Cipher voice. Seemed it was his family didn't like how it went more specifically his daughter. It was to be expected when he fights from what heard was some sort of boss it was not going to end well. When you wanted to win it never ended one. Though it did make him curious to learn about what seemed to be someone he had some form of connection with. As the Vargas ran past he'd look at him with an annoyed look. The Girl was right the judging was fishy. Not that he surprised. This was for fun of the Vargas and seeing Zucceta fight the queen and Vi poi fighting Zucceta. That had more appeal then what they had to offer. He'd step out of the walkway turning as Demetrius and Marx followed. "Sir form what I understand your last conversation with him was not the best." Demetrius paused as both men looked at him. Plato nodded, "I know." He'd turn walking towards the family.
"If it means anything. Judges ruled against me too. I suppose that there more popular. The Leader of the universes always gets looked at first. Maybe they didn't want all our universe in my case. Does not matter we got our message across." Plato said stepping up looking at Cipher and his family. Demetrius and Marx bowed there heads. They knew of Cipher of course though this seemed to be only out some old respect. "Hello, Prohpet." Both said as they raised their heads. Both men had daggers in their eyes. They knew Cipher had tried to stop the taking back of there home but the bad feeling didn't last long, "Don't worry guys." Plato wrapped his arms around her shoulders, "He didn't help Breech. He wanted to protect all of Konats. Just a misunderstanding." He'd move his head focusing on Cipher, "I got a question for you if you don't mind. You and this Vi guy why do you still hate each other?" He'd say with a shrug as he took a step forward, "Your not the type to dislike people without good reason. You see the good in people so why him and not others?"

As things quieted down with his own family, did another familiar face appear. Plato, the Konatsian ghost. If they hadn't been eliminated in their respective rounds, they would be facing each other right now. Porsalynne watched the ghost warily, and Cipher mentally prepared himself for a confrontation. Considering their last encounter, he expected Plato wanted to take a crack at him. The two konatsian's with him didn't help matters as they glared at him, referring to him by the Prophet. Cipher sighed. Just what had Plato told Konats about him? Which was why he was surprised when Plato spoke up for him, stating it was all a misunderstanding. A pleasant surprise mind you. Guess this wasn't going to be a fight after all. Porsalynne visibly relaxed. Then Plato's question came. Why did Cipher still hate Vi? A curious question. "I don't hate Vi," Cipher replied, "More dislike him. I know of all the good he's done, and that he ultimately means well, but his attitude and arrogance just rub me the wrong way." Cipher looked the ghost in the eyes. "We've all done things we regret. You. Me. The SSE. The Mazoku. But at least we acknowledge we made those mistakes. Getting Vi to admit his is like pulling teeth. I don't hate him, but I feel he needs to mature a bit.""As for Vi, he sure as hell hates my Dad," Charlene piped up, "But we just think he's salty as hell for what happened on Vegeta and Dad's the only target he can get away with hating on."Plato

Cipher began to explain why he disliked this Vi-Poi. He had done good but his arrogance rubbed him the wrong way. He nodded along as he explained they had all done things they regret they will admit that they made mistakes but this man would not. He believed he needed to grow up a little. He got ready to speak before then Charlene spoke saying that Vi Poi disliked Cipher as well. She explained he disliked Cipher because of what occurred on Vegeta. "So what where you went. Guess my message never got to you. Not surprised by it I never knew your name, not for a long time. Just knew you as a Prophet. That was one of your big mistakes right? Spreading some religion trying to convert the people. Leaving when I became king and not coming to save us. None of them hold a contempt for you. I know if you had the choice you would have been there to help them." Plato paused smiling, "I fought a boy Captoru. After fighting him something clicked in my head. It was like a small light. I ran away and that was why I became so vengeful. I ran in the face of death. I feared my own death over my own people. That not the death of someone that protects his people." Plato explained. He felt he needed to tell how this shift came. Before he would want to crack Cipher but what was the point? He made mistakes so did he. Cipher knew he did and Plato knew he did. So wanting some revenge won't change a thing.
"I think you should talk to him. I get this man sounds like a terrible person. Trust me I'd love to crack him. He let the saiyan go the first time. They went and destroyed two planets. Turned your guardian into a cyborg. Was Bing it? Was why I thought you may be working with them and Breech. They had created cyborgs why not create another. Probably was apart of my crazy head. I wanted a reason for everything to be connected to anything. That simply not the case. He may not accept what you've done but if anything all of us has sinned. You guys gave Zucceta a second chance. Give each other one. Because bad blood between you two, it won't solve anything." Demetrius looked at Plato before nodding, "I know it strange for us to be coming to you but were heading back somewhat soon. We need to get things in order. Us three and some others have been talking and we need a request of you." Demetrius turned looking at Marx. "We all sinned. We let it go under the rug. We were going to revive the people of kontats however our defeat has changed those plans. We realized that may not be for the best." Marx keeps kneeling as Plato looked at the three of them closely.
"I know you and the one making peace will wish to revive everyone who died. I respect that wish but I believe it is not for the best. I want this peace to happen. Don't revive anyone who died on konats. Death needs weight. I know people will forget if there reborn. We made this peace because of death. We saw too much of it all of us. Too many people who didn't need to die died to prove something. This peace conference people need to remember why this happened. In 5 or 10 years people will forget the carnage cause anyone who died came back. They won't forget if there still a scar of that war. I respect if you find what i'm asking impossible. I'd even understand if you find it downright awful. We just have a belief if death does not matter then people will do it again. It won't stop war no, it won't. However, people won't forget that is for sure. I want to make sure no one forgets what befell my people. So that is our Request." Demetrius then spoke up, "We lived in fear for a long time. People of Konats don't wanna wake up to see there loved one back because death is apart of life and we can accept it. We don't want to be invaded again, maybe this will stop that even if it only stop 1 of the 10,000. But 9,999 invader is better than 10,000." He joked looking at Charlene and Porsalynee, "We're sorry we bring something so heavy. We have work to do. Plato is..ready to go." He'd state calmly putting his arms together bowing his head to the two of them.

Cipher gave a rueful smile. "Yeah, it was actually. Not sure what I was thinking when I came up with it. When I had heard you were on Earth, I rushed back to Konats, fearing some disaster had befallen the planet. Instead, I was tricked by Breech and his fake king into believing everything was fine. I regret not realizing what was happening sooner. Maybe I could have stopped it all before it got so bad." Cipher let out a small sigh, "But there's no changing the past. What happened happened. The most we can do is learn from it." At Plato's suggestion that Cipher talk to Vipoi, the pale android blinked, tilting his head in thought. "I might give that a shot. Not sure how Vipoi would take it all. I get the impression he's not one to budge on how he thinks, but you're right. Letting this simply stew between us wont help anyone." He had a feeling Vipoi would punch him before he could even get a word out. Then came their request. To leave the dead lie. Cipher would have protested this, that those that died deserved a second chance. But he couldn't deny that they had a point. Death had become, well, meaningless as of late. Life was precious, but it lose its value when it cane be regained so easily. And it was all the death this war caused that gave everyone pause. If they could just revive everyone, why bother stopping the fighting? All it was doing was just continuing the pain and misery. Cipher could only nod his head in understanding. "Very well, I'll respect your request. It's time life was treated with the preciousness it deserves." He remembered years ago, when Porsalynne had been put into a temporary coma, the fear he felt at the prospect of losing her, but he also remembered the utter joy he felt when she recovered. That joy, that appreciation for life, that was what made it all worth it. Plato
