She said her race was destroyed in front of her eyes. Then she talked about his species was also destroyed by her master. He just looked at her as she explained as well she was not here to prove her strength. She then noted she did not fear him but someone else. Someone she claimed much worse. Gekido just lets out a chuckle as she rose her blade to attack as he didn't see anything but he knew something was there. Wind currents would change. "Did you think because I can't see it I don't know its there....its called Hearing Bitch." He'd swing his fist slamming it into slash as an explosion erupted from the area where he swung. Both attacks stopped one another in their tracks. Smoke filled the area from the clash of such powerful attacks as he slowly began to walk through while speaking. "So your master killed off the saiyans and Herans. Good. Whoever lived from either should have become stronger out of it. Guess that kinda backfired on you. Instead of creating a powerful warrior it made a weak one. Yah my race being destroyed big deal. The Heran race is not the same as me. They become soft, battling only against one another. They didn't relish strength, they relish money and greed. That is not a warrior race. Though when I get back perhaps I should bend them into shape. After I butcher you of course and the rest of the weaklings in this toury." He'd step out of the smoke looking up at Kaile. "You said I should not flatter myself. You should not either, the thought we were on an equal footing. It was quite foolish, the strongest one in this ring is me!" Gekido leaped towards Kaile swinging first with a hook from his left hand then using his right arm he'd attempt to slam an elbow into her gut. Finally, they could get into close quarters combat. That was his favorite and where he'd crush her.

Kaile ignored his words, For someone who wanted to fight he talked a lot. She waited for him to close the distance, Raising her blade in one hand to block the first attack and her arm towards the other before bringing her leg up to slam into his side and send him flying backwards. He thought he could crush her, but truth is he couldn't touch her with his methods.

She'd use her blade to block his attack. He'd open his fist to grasp onto the blade despiting knowing it'd cause him to bleed. He was really getting tired of this shit. Really...fucking tired. She raised her leg as he shot his arm being hit by the blow but using his elbow arm to grasp the other leg. He'd just look her in the eyes with annoyance. "You must think I'm an amateur." Gekido eyes turned bloodshot this woman had really pissed him off. All she was doing countering each move he made focusing on defensive and someone still trying to take the offensive. She could dodge all his blow for all he cared but when she thought she could attack as well in the middle of these barrages that when it went across the line from just fun and games to pure form of insulting him. She must have thought of him of just some brute with no skill. That really what got him annoyed. She thought she could beat him by just dodging and trying to hit back. Viens bursted to the surface. "All that dodging trying to attack me as well. You think if you focus on defending yourself you could just avoid my blows. I'm sending you straight to hell for that one!" He'd bring up his left knee swinging it for her gut hoping to slam it right in there. Using Legs in heran culture with a sign of disrespect in his eyes. She didn't deserve his respect though. She was nothing but a con artist, someone who was given great power with no idea how to use it. It pissed him off to think she had the same form as Bell or that women on arosce. To have a form only reserved for the strongest of saiyans given to this women as a party favor.

Kaile had anticipated being caught, Yes Herans were brutes but so were Saiyans and it would be ill-advised to think lesser of them coming from her. No he had mistaken her intentions, Rather it was her intention to get caught. "Actually..." Her hand released her blade as she brought her hands down to his knee as he thrust upwards "Ki Flash!" A ball of energy rapidly formed before exploding against the Herans knee at point blank range, Were it that he thought before he acted he might've been able to react in time. He thought she was disrespecting him by attacking now, on the contrary she was doing the opposite... She wasn't running. His disrespectful nature came from his own brutish thought process.

She'd narrow his eyes as she fired a beam of energy from her hand at his knee. Did she honestly think that was going to work? That his reaction speed was too slow for that. Ki formed on his own knee the ki flash being blown up on his knee. Not that it did any damage it just covered them in smoke. She'd had let go of her blade which worked for him. After blocking the Ki Flash he'd attempt to step on her foot to maybe break it or at least keep her from moving. His bloodshot eyes looked through the smoke. He'd raise the blade thrusting it aimed right at her throat to cause as much damage to her as possible. He knew the match was ending soon but still he really just wanted to cause her arm at this point. He really was sick and tired of this women's games. She needed to fall to her knee right here and now. He'd make sure of it. He knew her hand was damaged so she'd only had one free arm. Maybe one and a half he supposed. So he had a feeling this attack would break through unless she just decided to break away and run like a coward. Hence why he tried to smash his foot into hers.

She surely hoped that he didn't think that she'd suffer damage when he did not, No he clearly thought that on equal terms he was still superior in every way which meant he was beyond any possible help in this regard. No he was the one that was misunderstanding the entire situation with this tournament. The moment the Ki Flash exploded the resulting smoke would easily cloud his vision regardless of what he might've thought, Giving her plenty of time to vanish and get away from him. Because of this his resulting attacks hit nothing but air in front of him since she was now behind him, Being on equal footing meant their reaction times were the same. So instead she simply stood there, The clock resounded outwards as she reappeared several feet from the brute, So now the Judges would decide who won. They had sustained equal damage, so had she even suffered damage from that last attack, which she didn't, he would've as well. The biggest difference between the two was stamina reserves, He had missed a lot of attacks and it takes more energy to swing and miss than swing and connect. As a result her dodging she did was more tactical than this brute could ever fathom, He swung over and over with no cares about his own personal stamina. Because of this regardless of time limits, She would've won in the end as she ensured he swung, missed and then blocked her counter attack. If he hadn't blocked it he'd suffer more damage, And irregardless of Stamina, She had landed more blows on him because he blocked and didn't dodge. They might've been 'superficial' damage, but even superficial damage adds up over the course of a fight if one wasn't careful. It was the reason that the majority of fights had plenty of punches and kicks thrown, Most matches were truly decided on that 'superficial' damage anyways.
(As it is now 10pm EST as of this post, This fight will come down to the Judges.)

Ornee blinked awkwardly. The time patroller who'd been commentating the matches had never come back from his bathroom break, leaving the Vargas all alone at the desk.
He squawked nervously as the timer clanged, noting the end of the match. Uncertainty in his talons, he clicked a button, and moved up to the microphone.
"Ahem-- The winner is... Uh... Kaile!"
