Jala sits in front of the sparring area, drunk as hell with her cooler to the side of her, open and beers galore to see. “Whoo! Hahaha! Party!” she yells happily in her drunken stupor, people giving her a wide clearance. A couple of people, and would be contestants attempted to move her or take the beer away… Which was a problem.
Every single one of them was knocked into the wall, which people just left her alone, due to not wanting to have to deal with this drunk woman. After a small bit, she started to seem less drunk, not exactly to her senses but sensible enough to know what’s going on.
“Hmmm… I wish Gira came… She woulda been some fun! Even Goat man with Sword Thing… Pieter’s pissed. I knew he wanted to come, but ha! Your too similar to your Universe 15 counterpart you idiot… Whatever that means.” she says, slurring words together as she looks at the crowd. “... I wonder what will these different universes will bring to the table. Hope they won’t be pushovers…” Jala muttered, hoping to see a person she notices as she just sits there.
Gira had been spending her time thus far exploring this entire area. She hadn't been to a place outside her own universe before. Hell, she didn't even know that there were other universes at all before a few weeks ago. That certainly came as something of a surprise to the young hybrid. She had been walking around for quite some time, mingling with people from other universes and ducking her dark counterpart from Universe 17. She hadn't met her directly, but she had... heard things. Apparently, that Gira was... a lot different from her. Looking into a dark mirror like that, even just the prospect of it, made the young half-Saiyan incredibly uncomfortable. She also heard that her dark counterpart killed her best friend. If that was who Gira thought it was, she probably couldn't resist the urge to deck her in the face.
That would just cause all sorts of problems, so that was a situation that was best avoided. After a decently long walk, she came across someone who was being rather loud and belligerent. They also seemed very familiar to the teen. Maybe she knew them? Gira approached the drunken woman, realizing who it was once she got a good look at her face. The hybrid grinned, her heart instantly filling with joy. "Jala!" Gira ran up to the Saiyan quickly and immediately wrapped her in a big hug. "I can't believe it! Oh my god, how have you been!?" The hybrid reined herself in after that, however, coming to a realization. She broke away from the drunken Saiyaness, blushing slightly at her sudden burst of energy. "Oh, uh... do you know me? Like, are you Universe 15's Jala?" Gira chuckled and scratched the back of her head to release some nervous tension. "So many copies running around like this is confusing sometimes."

(Quick reminder! Though we are at different PL for our respective universes, while the tournament is going on we are at 250k pl altogether!)
Pieter, that is this one of Universe 15 was finding himself in a pickle, ever since hearing the tournament standings and having still been trying to get used to how strong he was, currently! He'd placed against the Captain Nova of his universe... The very same one he came to this area of whatever space they were in to partake of this tournament.
"I hadn't really gotten around to meeting people yet... And yet here we already are, getting paired against the other in the first round," Pieter mumbled to himself! As he did, one of the people here, a Vargas, had been chucked by him and into one of the walls. They were dazed, but for the most part, they were fine and a grumble about this crazed drunk managing to get beer in the arena caught Pieter's ear.
A small smile showed, before he hid it and asked, "So you guys need help getting in control of someone?"
He was really aiming for a beer himself, but getting whoever this was under control was the first thing that needed to happen! He was told that one of the contestants, Jala of U10, had gotten out of control and if she didn't get restrained soon, she was going to be sent back to her universe and be disqualified! Pieter told the Vargas that he'd talk to her, and hopefully, they'd calm down.
Pieter was directed to wgere the commontion was happening... And to the surprise of those trying to subdue the violent contestant, another had approached her quickly, thinking it was her universe's version of Jala, and hugged her! Pieter recognized Gira immediately told the Vargas to just bring his friends back, before stating aloud, "Calling them copies wouldn't be the right thing to call it, Gira! They are their own person with similarities to the one we know!"
Pieter approached the two on foot, putting his hands on his hips as he looked between the two girls.
Jala sat there watching the people go by, not really sure what to do. She didn’t know anyone to help pass by the time with; people were either too strong or too weak to fight against; and no one knew how to have a party! Outrageous! “Hn?” she glanced over when she heard someone call her name… Then she was grasped in a hug; which startled Jala.
“Wha-what the hell!? Who are you and why are you hugging me!?” she sputtered out, not sure how to handle the situation. Then they pulled back, blushing and Jala grinned, her smile was huge as she recognized Gira! “GIRA!” she screamed happily, tackling one of her best friends, at least in her universe. “I can’t believe your here! How’d you get here!? They would only let me on!” she said, confused but happy.
“Huh? Of COURSE I know you! Your one of my best friends! How would I not-... U-uh… N-no, I’m not Universe 15’s Jala, I’m Universe 10’s. Apparently I’m different enough from your Jala. Curious where she is… But anyway- PIETER!” she started back on her conversation, before seeing her second best friend.
She dropped her restraints and blasted to full power, attempting to grasp Pieter in a bear hug. “How’d you get here Pieter!? I’m guessing your from Universe 15 because my Pieter was too ‘similar’ to join but HEY! Your here!” Jala said this, even if Pieter blocked her bear hug.
“So hey! We maybe from different universes, but were similar enough! Question, is your Jala as hot as me?” the young women asked, grinning, hoping to rile them. “But no, seriously, hey. It’s good to see you guys… Even if it’s been two days for me. Wanna have a drink Pieter? Cigarette?” Jala asked, pulling the pack out of her outrageously long hair and grabs a beer from the fridge, offering it to him. “I’d rather not drink anymore around Gira. Last time that happened… It was a bit embarrassing”
Jala remembered when she and Gira hung out; well, she was drunk partially and made moves on Gira but unlike her U15 counterpart, she didn’t run off. @Gira Sensible Ki is 250k. Using [N1] Bear Hug on Pieter for infinite PL. I'm jking and know about that. And I'll say this is easily, my favorite thread.
Gira let out a rush of air when she was tackled by Jala. Then came the questions. "I-I got here on a ship, same as anyone else I suppose." She turned and looked at Pieter as he approached giving him a wave. "Oh, hey Piets." She smiled at her fellow Z-Fighter. Jala recognized him too, it seemed, as she ran to embrace him in a bear hug. Gira groaned and stood up, patting the dust off her gi. with that, she addressed what Pieter said about the word "copies" not being entirely accurate. "Yeah, you're right. Sorry, they just look like copies from my perspective." She forgot sometimes that not every universe was exactly like theirs. They ran the spectrum from practically identical to wildly different to almost nonexistent. She heard of several universes that had undergone apocalyptic scenarios.
It was a little unnerving when one thought of it like that. Made her thankful she lived in a universe that was relatively stable, all things considered. Gira walked over to Jala and Pieter. She couldn't help but smile. This felt just like old times, back when Gira was a lot weaker than she was now and when she first met these two. Though it was a different Jala then the one in their universe, it still felt the same. When Jala mentioned not wanting to get drunk around Gira, she recalled what the Saiyaness was likely talking about. That was a rather uncomfortable moment... "Oh, right. When you tried to cop a feel?" Gira asked without a hint of the nervousness she showed back then when that happened. As far as she was concerned, that was in the past. It didn't make her feel uncomfortable now.

Jala gave a very brief explanation of how she was different from their Universe's version... Not really giving details before springing at Pieter and grabbing him in a bear hug! The fact she was faster... And stronger than their universe's Jala gave the obvious signs to Gira! She questioned Pieter about him being from Universe 15 instead of her universe. Similarities? Was this guy a doppleganger, then?!
"Good to see you, too, I suppose," Pieter grunted, this Jala releasing him and jesting about if their Jala was attractive as she was; a jest at Pieter! She then dug into her hair and pulled out a beer. Pieter held his hand up, stating, "Sure, since you're offering..!"
He'd take one of the beer cans, if she gave him one, and pop it open for a sip. Jala then brought up a story about how she tried something with Gira when she got a bit too out of control, and apparently, the Gira from Pieter's Universe had experienced this... 'Copping a feel' was the terminology slung here, long after Gira's apology about people being similar to one another here! Pieter felt it was quick to change the subject, stating awkwardly, "Well, for us, it's been quite some time since we last saw our Jala. She mentioned a job that she had to do in the last conversation we had about work off world. She'd not really been back since then, so I'm thinking she may not be coming back..!"
It was a gloomy subject. However, she was an 'assassin' after all. Whatever job it was must've been too much for her to handle! Seeing this one, though, in her chipper and quirky nature was a nice reminder of what it was like around her!
"So, what made you stick around in your universe, if you don't mind me asking?"
“Job? Oh so your Jala is an assassin too? Not to surprising. Well, she’s probably alive. Knowing me, I would run if a job is too hard and cancel it. It’s not a guarantee with me and my jobs… But sometimes I just get into the fight.” she says, thinking aloud. “Well… She may join… Maybe. I dunno about her, but I would. I get to fight strong people. Were both Saiya-jin’s so if she’s still alive… She’d be here, most likely.” The young Saiya-jin said, looking around.
She puts the beer back in the fridge and grabs a cigarette, putting the pack back in her outrageous hair. “Why didn’t I leave?... I mean, for me, I never had a reason to. I liked it there. For your Jala, I’m guessing that she was stressed, just tired, or… Wanted to just go. Now I’m not saying U15 Jala hated Earth, she probably just had her own problems to deal with. Just keep an eye and ear out. You may hear or see her around.” the young woman said, getting a grin as she lights her cigarette.
“Hey, got anymore questions for me or anything ‘cause I have a great idea. Just ask away."
Gira EPIC foreshadowing with U15 Jala... Even though that already happened. And, sorry, worded it wrong. She's not pulling beer out of her hair... That's... No. She has a fridge.
Gira pouted when Pieter mentioned that he had not seen Jala since she mentioned she was going off-world for a job, then never came back and that she may well never return. "Don't say that! I know she'll be back someday." The hybrid went over to the fridge and opened it up, looking around in it. "Um... you got any HETAP? I'd kill for a HETAP right now." Gira rummaged through the fridge for a moment before procuring a purple can with "HETAP" in bold letters on the side. "Ah, there we go." Gira closed the fridge and opened the can, taking a hearty gulp. She never really did like to drink, more so after that party in Ginger Town where she passed out, then ended up going into her Oozaru form for the first time.
She caused a lot of damage and while it wasn't necessarily the alcohol's fault, she had always felt uncomfortable drinking ever since then. She smiled at Jala when she mentioned that their universe's Jala was probably still alive because she would likely run from a difficult job. She might even be here. "Really? I hope we can see her then. Its been way too long." Then the Universe 10 Jala asked if the two of them had any other questions. "Yeah, I guess i've got one. I sense that you're really strong. Lots stronger than our Jala. Did you do anything to get that strong? Or, I guess, did you do anything differently from our Jala?"
Post by Pieter Wolfbane on Dec 7, 2017 22:16:13 GMT
This Jala seemed to disagree about her passing, stating that she'd run if the fight was too much for her. She even figured she'd be here, too, which Pieter shook his head to! Gira didn't like Pieter bringing that up, being optimistic that she'd be back while getting a beer. Pieter apologized, stating, "My bad. I've been having to deal with BS after BS lately, so I'm not optimistic about most matters, lately..."
Pieter paused, thinking about getting strong enough to deck the hell out of Vi-Poi and kick Zucceta down to HFIL the next chance he could! That was going to be the last thing he'd do and wouldn't let anyone get in his way! They have it coming, to Pieter. The thoughts would come to a pause, as Jala explained briefly about her not leaving compared to their universe's. This brought the dreadful feeling into Pieter's heart that he'd been the one who drove her off, which ushered forth denial.
"I doubt she'd go offworld because of something like that. You guys are harder than you let on," he replied with a scoff.
With Jala then questioning if they had anymore questions, Gira brought up the question of why she was so much stronger than their own Jala! Pieter couldn't deny that it was a question in his own head, giving Jala a curious look while sipping his beer!
“I understand. But, just keep an eye out. I bet you she’ll come to at least fight, maybe for the wish…” Jala said. She took a long whiff of her cigarette. “Yo, Pieter. It would never be your fault, I can assure you. Unless some horrific life crisis went between the two of you, she wouldn’t leave.” the assassin said, gaining a smile, wanting to poke fun at him.
“Unless, if you asked her out. Did youuu~?” the Saiya-jin teased Pieter, making it clear it was nothing but a joke. Jala turned back to Gira, glad they all got there drinks. She bent down, grabbing 3 more drinks and turned the fridge back into a hoi-poi capsule as she said to Gira, “Well, since I actually trained with Pieter and what not, along with you Gira. I pooled for all of us to get a gravity chamber and we have one; we train a lot… However your mom is… Overprotective. She’s not a big fan of me being a drunk and doesn’t like me. Funny enough, It did the exact OPPOSITE, making you hate beer!... You still love your HETAPS’.”
The Saiya-jin got back up, and had a toothy grin. “So, my idea was, we spar! It’s been a while for you guys and I can’t have you guys forgetting an epic battle! So let’s have some fun! We can do a free for all, teamed with you two against me… Whatever!” Jala proclaimed, thinking she had a prefect idea. She hoped that the two hybrids would accept. It’d be hard to fight against Gira evenly and this Pieter could hold his own… She hoped.
When Pieter apologized for bringing up that Jala may have died, Gira sighed and shrugged. "It's okay. I just... don't want to think about losing a friend like that. It isn't something i've had to deal with before and I really don't wanna ever go through that." Gira's mood lifted at Jala's joke about Pieter asking their universe's Jala out. She giggled slightly at this. "Pieter's a real ladies man. I think he could have gotten Jala to go out with him if he tried." She grinned at her friends before turning her attention back to Universe 10's Jala as she explained a bit about what their relationship was like in her universe. Apparently, they were all still friends and they trained together. She supposed that would explain how this Jala was much stronger than the one in their universe.
It was good to hear that they were all still friends though, even if it was to her mother's dismay. "Yeah, that sounds like my mom. She always wants to protect me even though i'm fully capable of taking care of myself." She chuckled. "It just means she loves me though. I know that. It kinda makes me happy when I think about it like that." Then came a comment from the Universe 10 fighter about how Gira still loved HETAP, much like the one in her universe. "Yeah, of course I do! Why wouldn't I love it? It's fruity, carbonated, not too sweet, and it's perfect after a workout." She grinned and gave Jala a thumbs up before taking another sizable gulp of her drink.
Then came an idea from Jala that got Gira's blood pumping; a spar! The hybrid was immediately on board. The last time she sparred with Jala was so long ago. If she remembered correctly, that was their last interaction. She hadn't sparred with Pieter before either and she really wanted to get an idea of his skill. They were all of the same strength, so Gira would have to wait to test that, but she could still see his skill and abilities. That combined with the teen's love of battle in general made her adore the idea. "Awesome idea, Jala! What about you Piet? Wanna show me what you can do?" Gira grinned excitedly at Pieter. Pieter could only laugh, half hearted, at Jala's joke, which Gira dragged a bit further, flip flopping her attitude from Pieter's comment to the drunk's! Jala explained that, apparently, they all pooled together their money to get a gravity chamber at some point, while training together too! Pieter thought to himself, "I guess I foregone the mercenary work... Eh. Guess he had a better chance than I did!"
Pieter took another gulp as they went on about how Gira's mother was disapproving of her being around Jala. Pieter was getting that out of place feeling, despite drinking and talking with them. He wasn't too sure if he should be here at the moment, since Jala seemed to have calmed down... That is, until Jala brought up sparring them, one suggestion being fighting a two on one!
"I am gonna say no to that," Pieter stated, about to get on their cases, "You were just chucking people all around the stadium, Jala. We're currently being amplified by whatever technology the Vargas are using to make us equals right now! Any sparring we do is gonna make things chaotic and disqualify us from this tournament."
Jala just stared at Pieter. “The whole, ‘same power bullshit’ is just tournament regulation, it isn’t active to sparring matches unless you want it to be. And also… the sparring arena are here. So we can spar without there being any trouble.” Jala said this, jabbing behind her at the floating rings a different heights.
“I’d suggest you two both against me, no tourny bullshit of static power levels. Just your two’s power against mine! The reason why is because, judging from your power at the second… I’m actually stronger than both of you.”
After saying that, the young women would have a curious look at Pieter. “Can you go Super Saiya-jin 2…? I can but… I-I can’t do it at whim and It’s a bit terrifying. In my universe you can, your a good amount stronger than me.”
Gira frowned when Pieter turned down their offer for a spar. "Awww, come on. Even if that stuff is active all the time, I can lower my power to more manageable levels. Even lower than what it is normally! Surely we have enough control over our strength to not completely mess everything up." At Jala stating that there were sparring rings, the hybrid looked up at them, an excited smile crossing her lips. "Woah, awesome! No problem here, then. We could totally get a good round or two of sparring then. Come onnnn Pieter." Gira nudged the other hybrid playfully. "It'll be fun! Just like old times, right?"
After hearing Jala state that both she and Pieter can access a form called Super Saiyan 2, Gira was curious. She had heard of a level beyond Super Saiyan, but had yet to meet anyone who could actually achieve the form. Then she began to wonder about herself. Had she achieved it in that universe? Clearing her throat, Gira decided to ask Jala, seeing as she was the one best equipped to answer that question. "So, can I access that form too? I can go Super Saiyan, but i've never felt like i've even come close to unlocking a level beyond that, though." Gira sighed sullenly. Super Saiyan 2 sounded quite powerful. She wondered if that level of strength was beyond her?
Gira looked up and smiled. No. If this past year had taught her anything, there was nothing she couldn't do. No level of power she couldn't achieve if she really tried. At that point she decided, then and there, that she would achieve that form. If she really worked at it, there was no doubt in her mind that this transformation was well within her potential to achieve.

"It is bullcrap, but when you're hurling people across the stadium in your stupor," Pieter retorted to Jala's complaining retort, "Even that sparring arena isn't so safe, so I'm gonna have to make a pass on that, and so should you!"
Gira requested this of Pieter, too, mentioning how she can control her power level. Jala mentioned, too, that she could handle them both because of a form that went beyond the standard level. He shrugged and frowned with wide open eyes, replying, "I honestly don't trust our control. We're all partly saiyan by nature... Jala being a full blooded saiyan, of course. Anyway, we're not-"
Jala asked Pieter if he could go this Super Saiyan 2 state, cutting Pieter off.
"I can't. However, I don't think we should spar, regardless," Pieter replied, finishing his statement from before too, "It's just too risky. The last time I participated in a match outside of the tournament, a demon in a human disguise that was participating in the tournament came out and killed a lot of the crowd, causing everything to go into panic..!"
Pieter lowered his hands in front of himself, putting the tips of his thumb and index finger tips together, his palms open as brought them to the side. It was signifying his worries, on top of the comment. Pieter stated, "I'm saying no to this, guys."
