Kira stumbled up the dirt road on the way to his master's dojo. The rough wood of his staff was starting to wear into the callouses on his hands; he’d been leaning on it more often and using it as more of a blind-man’s cane since he’d lost his vision. All the work that he’d put into honing his senses felt like it was down the drain. It depressed Kira, knowing he’d never be able to fully appreciate the beauty of this route through the bamboo ever again. He paused for a moment, and let himself fully be enveloped by the cool breeze that was passing through. It suddenly dawned on him that he might be looking at this the wrong way. The events with the Redkaps had severely limited his train of thoughts. Granted, they had quite literally been life changing in the most negative of ways. The last thing he’d seen, the last thing he’d ever seen, was the sight of his dearest friends being taken too soon from this world. He put his forehead to his staff and leaned into it. He fought back the tears that he’d been producing to much of recently and let out a heavy sigh. He wondered if Chai would even train him like this, let alone pass on the techniques of the Star School in this state. He leaned further into the poel and felt it sink into the soft Earth of the dirt path. He breathed again and starting walking again. If he was being 100 percent honest with himself he had no idea how close he was to the Goat-man’s house. He’d been counting steps but again, he longed for the sights the bamboo forest offered on the way there. As Kira continued to walk he noticed things he hadn’t before. As he took each step carefully he heard sounds with a louder clarity than before. The smell of the occasional flower was somewhat overpowering now. He wondered if this was his body overcompensating for the lack of humanity's most reliant sense, or if he was subconsciously trying to make up for it with his Ki. He put the thought aside and suddenly felt soft grass under his feet. Yess… Made it. Kira hoped to Kami this was actually Chai’s lawn and not some old hermit looking for seclusion. Had he taken a wrong turn at that crossroad? He continued across the grass with outstretched hands, waiting for them to make contact with Chai’s wood deck. Kira grabbed onto one of the deck’s post and felt his way over to the door. “OW”!! Kira brought his finger to his mouth. The strong taste of iron permeated throughout his tastebuds and a small trickle of blood trailed down his hand from the end of his right pointer finger. Damn it Chai… Clean up your deck. An exposed nail had cut into one of his hands in his blind search for direction. Kira felt his way up to the door and felt it borders gingerly, leaving small bloody fingerprints along his hands path. Finally finding the center of the door and accidentally knocking over something heavy and metallic. Kira suddenly felt self conscious. There was no way that he’d be able to keep up with the others now. He sniffed, again fighting back tears, and adjusted the thin piece of cloth he’d tied over his eyes to cover his scars and still-healing wounds. The doctor he’d talked to from the BBA said the damage was irreparable. That was a hard blow to the young man. He hoped the others would help him get over this funk he’d fallen into. Maybe Pracross would be back, or Culu. The two two them might be able to make him smile again. “Chai, are you in there? I, uh… Need help with something.” Kira knocked on the door with the end of his staff, hoping someone would answer soon.

[PL: 83,230 HW ON: 20,808] This certainly was a good start. Compared to going to the wrong room numbers, wrong building in general, wrong rooftops, the wrong city, and even the wrong side of the world once. This time Edoma was right where he wanted to be. He had been hoping to talk to Chai about getting some training done. Now that the teen was thinking of it, he realized the two never had a real match, more like a stare down that ended with Edo tripping over his own broken leg. However it seemed the goat was either not home or just preoccupied. Of course it would have helped if the hybrid had actually knocked more than once before shrugging and hanging out in a nearby tree. Normally he would have waiting at the dojo itself, however despite his time on Earth, he had never been in one of these schools, and wasn't sure if there was some different form of etiquette. For the time being, the hybrid would take a moment to rest, taking in his surroundings. Mostly the sounds of the forest, the wind blowing through the leaves, which would then brush against one another, lulling the teen to close his eyes and drift into a light sleep. Edo's nap was soon cut short, as the sound of knocking quickly jolted him from his branch. He looked down and see someone else now rapping at the door to Chai's house. The teen recognized him as one of the other students from the meet and greet. Edoma took a second to recall the man's name. He could remember he was a human, though that is a common train among earth dwellers. "Oh right Kiraburu." The teen thought aloud to himself. It was certainly nice seeing a fellow Star Student. This time though he seemed a little different. He looked to be leaning on his staff a bit more heavily than usual. Not to mention he now had something tired around his head, though looking from the back Edo couldn't tell what. Well there is really only one way to find out. "Hey there." Called the teen in his usual easygoing manner, gently floating towards his fellow pupil. "You look a little warn out, are you…" Edoma didn't get to finish his question. As soon as he saw Kira's face. The young fighter knew all too well what the cloth meant, having been close to suffering the same fate himself when he first arrived on earth. "Oh..." was all he could manage to say after taking a few moments to look over the tall blind man. "Are, you okay?" He asked, trying his best not to sound too concerned. In truth he wasn't sure what else to say. To be honest, Edo wasn't entirely sure why he was being so soft. Going from smooth and casual to worried in such a short time. Perhaps it was the fact he could relate, or maybe his time on Earth had changed him. Even then, he never wanted to come off as TOO soft and concerned, which was not only the saiyan in him, but the sixteen year old in him as well.

A promise was made on this day to make up for the other days. Today was the day Chai promised to train him with other fighters. It was the promise that led him to meet Kira, which, hopefully, meant that today he would hopefully fight more than just Kira and maybe learn some stuff. The Saiyan was flying through the skies, lapping the Eastern city hundreds of times within minutes, his excitement unable to be contained. With a furious swoop, the boy dove and flew above the city streets, slapping his hand against street lights.
“Yahoooo!” shouted the Teen as he flew towards the bamboo forest landing at Chai’s house within seconds. “Ha HA! I am ALIVE!” Pracross shouted, his voice echoing for miles. The landing had been incredibly impressive. A flip followed by a roll and recovery. The Saiyan boy was breaking limits most people couldn’t even understand. When the boy opened his eyes he saw.. Kira and Edoma, both with concerned looks. “Hey guys, what’s wrong?”
The Saiyan walked up and stood before the two, looking at Kira’s blindfold. “Yo, Kira… are you eyes okay?” The boy put his hand on the Human’s shoulder, eyes wide with concern. “Do you need help? You look tired and beaten to hell, you need to sit…” The Saiyan turned to Edoma, a raised eyebrow. "Where's Chai?"

HOOK let out a content coo as Chai whistled, spraying his giant robot with a hose of water. HOOK got scuffed and dented during the battle on Vegeta and tanking through an asteroid field on the way home, and as any Bannerbot caretaker should, it was always important to keep the robots clean. A happy HOOK was a good HOOK. Currently the goat wore a stained green Serpent Master EX T-Shirt, coupled with a unzipped black jacket to cope with the chilly weather, and a pair of baggy black pants to match. HOOK himself was his usual green and blue hue, though some dirt and grime of black and brown colors dotted his form. "Alright, Hooks." Chai chimed, putting a hand on the robot's long cheek. "Mind bringing your tail around? I need to get your fluke, and we should be--" Chai paused, turning his head.
Familiar energies were gathering near his home downstream. CHai pursed his lip in concern and confusion; he didn't have a training session with his students scheduled today, did he? Chai couldn't remember- most were set for next week so he could properly have time to plan out sessions for each individual student. Kiraburu's energy felt... off, though. Concerningly off and unstable. "...Hold the thought, bud. We've got company back home. C'mon." Chai gestured, taking into the sky while HOOK mumbled, diving into the waters of the Baozi River and snaking towards their home...
Guardia was off shopping, so it was just Chai and HOOK for today. With a quick dash and burst of energy, the zoanthrope descended down behind the group alongside HOOK, whom popped out of the meandering river just beside his home. The robot blinked, lowering his head with his usual expressionless features while Chai trotted forwards, eyeing the wearily concerned group of students. "Uh... Hey, dudes." Chai glanced about, picking up on the unease quick. This was not a good feeling. "Did I have training scheduled for today or something I forgot about? I was just cleaning up HOOK and..."
"Uh... Kira? You good?" Chai questioned, eyeing his distraught expression and... blindfold? "...Oh goodness gracious that was a stupid question, wasn't it?" Chai twiddled with his fingers, walking closer to the group. He briefly eyed Edoma and Pracross, whom were just as anxious as him about this strange Kiraburu situation, it seemed...

Kira sighed once more and straightened up. He hadn’t expected to run into anyone waiting for Chai’s training today. He’d shown up late in the afternoon, hoping everyone would be eating or out on their regular lives. Still, Edoma’s familiar energy brought a smile to his face. From the sound of things, Edoma had been resting in a tree not so far away and was quickly approaching. Kira simply turned towards him, and held a hand in greeting. “Yo! It’s been a little while. And yeah… It was a little tiring getting here.” Kira didn’t want to know what face Ed was making. He focused, and he swore he could feel Ed’s heart skip a beat when he came closer. He didn’t want to feel others’ pity, that was the last thing he wanted and the one thing that could make him feel worse. “It’s good to see you Edoma. Sorry to wake you. What’re you doing out here?” Kira put his hand behind his head and smiled sheepishly. He strode over to where he’d knocked something over and stooped down to see what it was. He felt his hand come into contact with a some-what flimsy wood and brought up a lawn chair the lawn chair he’d tripped over earlier. He propped it up and put it with its twin before plopping down in it and leaning back. “I’ll admit… it was kind of hard to find this place without eyes. Suddenly Kira’s face lit up as much as it could. A familiar power was speeding its way through the forest, and taking no care not to tread on anything beautiful whilst doing so. There was only one person who this could be. “Yahooo!” Rang out through the bamboo and Kira smiled wide knowing who was coming up. Pracross came up too and immediately started questioning Kira about his appearance. He couldn’t say he expected much else and this ended in more sheepish smiles from Kira, but before he could stammer a reply Pracross had already moved on and was asking for Chai. Kira supposed this meant Pracross also wanted to beat the crowd and get some personalized training. “How’re you Pracross? It’s good to.. See you again.” The irony of the statement wasn’t lost on Kira but it wasn’t going to stop him from being himself. He Leaned his staff up against the wall of the house and stretched. As Kira paused, he felt the warm energy of a friend coming closer. He nearly fell over out of the flimsy lawn chair when Chai appeared with… Something that hit the ground much harder than a person did. He got up and strode towards it, reaching out with his hand. Whatever it was, it was extremely powerful. He came into contact with H.O.O.K and recoiled instinctively, not knowing what he’d actually touched. Chai seemed to stumble over his own words. And Kira laughed for the first time in what felt like forever. This would take some getting used to, but he’d probably be able to get some kicks out of everyone’s feeling bad. He turned to wear Chai was standing and stated with a matter’o fact tone, “Let it be known,” Kira removed the the white linen scarf wrapped around his eyes and over the bridge of his nose. “The Blue Banner Army can take a lot from a person…” He ‘looked’ up at Chai with lifeless eyes. Where peircing green eyes had once been were now milky orbs. Though they twitched and seemed to be searching for a face, it was clear they were useless. 36 parallel marks scarred straight over Kira’s brow, eyes, and the top of his nose. “Honestly Master Chai, I came here to better myself. I’ve been moping around too long and I want to fight like I used to.” Kira tightened the scarf in its original position. He was smiling widely now, everything about him showing excitement. “Please.”

Edoma quickly regained his composure. He knew what this was like, he knew when a fighter like himself has something like this thrown in their way, they just break it down or find a new way around it. Just like he had almost a year before. The very thought brought a smile to the teen's face, realizing that he wouldn't want everyone coddling him if he got his eyes blasted again. "Uh, no it's no problem. I was just here to ask Chai when we could do some training, I don't think I got the chance to ask him before," he explained as Kira made himself comfortable, picking up a chair he had knocked over. 'Getting here without eyes huh?' The saiyan could relate, and that was before he could sense energy at all. "I can kind of relate, I got my eyes blasted myself once. Had to eat some weird bean to get them working again, and even now I have some light scars around them." The teen disclosed, pointing to thin almost unnoticeable lines near where his brow and nose met. He then brought his hand down slowly and sheepishly, realizing that he just tried showing a blind man something. At least he didn't say anything about the action like 'see look.' In an effort to draw attention away from the embarrassing moment Edoma continued finished his little story. "Now if I'm in extreme heat, cold, or wind... or for no good reason, my eyes get a little irritated." Right as the hybrid finished his hopefully uplifting story, another energy closed in, this time Pracross, shouting something about being alive. Very observant of him, he was, in fact, alive judging by the look of him. The fellow teen made quite the entrance, full of both life (obviously) and energy. Though his energy seemed to die down slightly by the heavy atmosphere left by the two students. Kira was able to answer his queries, though Edoma didn't get to contribute, as the door opened before he could. Out walked Chai, looking at his students with a look of understandable confusion, followed by an equally understandable look of concern. Now the hybrid couldn't help but feel bad for being the one to make the initial atmosphere between himself and Kira so heavy. Then the man recommended a fight as opposed to a sob fest. "Hey that's not a bad idea!" Edo would chime in. "When I got blinded I was still in a fight, and with that, I learned how to sense energy." He voiced excitedly. This wasn't just another attempt to lighten the mood, it was a genuine thought. Edoma was usually very quick to discredit humans, however, this was far from one of those times. In fact, this human probably won't fade from his memories for a while.

As the boy approached and asked his questions, Kira’s energy went from sad to happy to sad again. It made him feel a little uncertain, but the Teen still answered his in response. “Well, I think I’m doing quite great! I get to fight you again, though it seems we’re all having some troubles…” Pracross removed his hand and smiled anyways. “Glad you could make it, friend!” The Saiyan looked around as he felt an energy approaching, one that he remember better above the others.
When that figure arrived, another one of giant size arrived as well. It was Chai and HOOK. Pracross made a silent clapping motion as his excitement grew. “Banner Buddy!” The Saiyan’s eyes lit up, a common thing for him now, as he flew up and wrapped his arms around the top of it’s head. HOOK had saved the boy’s life on Vegeta during the “Demon Raid”, so the Saiyan of course obliged to give his gratitude. “How ya doin’, Long Legs?”
After a growl or beep or any sorta of response, he’d pet the bot gently before floating back down to the group, landing beside Edoma. Upon his return, Kira had removed his blindfold and revealed the situation to Chai. The Human was talking about battling to relive his former glory. Pracross smiled, about to pull out his usual stupid liners. “Well, duh! You’re starting to sound like some old Saiyan dude! We need to get you to seeing again! No point in not having fun while doing it!” Pracross nudged Edoma, then raise his eyebrows to Chai, expectant for a positive answer. If the Zoan were to speak, he’d interupt him anyways and shout “Wahoo!” whether the answer was a yes or a no.
Pracross would attempt to take the wrist of the Human and grip it lightly, trying to give a comforting sense through touch. “C’mon, friend! Let’s get to mastering that ki sense of yours!” The Saiyan would start to fly up, which if Kira’s hand were still in Pracross’, he’d sling the boy up onto his shoulder and shoot for the dojo.
“Okay, Operation Teach The Blind To See is a go!” Pracross slung open the doors and flew to the mats inside, looking up to the roof with a rising aura. If Kira was still with him, he’d set the blind man down and wait for the others.
