PL: 7,570 Now that his brother was gone, there was no good way to way to train. Nobody from his hometown was very powerful. So Ryson sat in the middle of the snowy field lightly flaring his ki in meditation waiting for his brother to come back, but anyone would do. The snow was cold but his energy kept him cozy and warm. The light of the sunset was poking over the mountain in a beautiful way and Ryson felt something akin to calmness growing. His ki grew outwards, although his actual power level was not rising, his control of it was. This wouldn't really help him in combat but it was good for the mind. He started going over scenarios in his head, fighting opponents in his mind. This might be more interesting with a real opponent. Ryson let out a long bored sigh and continued sitting. His ki gently flickering in a wide radius.

Due to his "free-range" lifestyle, Speenatch had found himself flying around the semi-permanently frozen wastes of Earth's northern regions. Why? ...No particular reason. He had little to do at the moment, no major work was available anywhere near home... and to be honest, he wanted a change of scenery. It was either the forests he knew, or heading back to Satan City with his parents. And he wasn't going to consider that option again. Staying at his childhood home for a bit had been fun, but... ' Sumtimes Mom 'n Dad 're just a liiiiiiiil' bit overbearin'...' He let out a small sigh as a few memories of being suddenly woken up, refused the chance to cook for himself, and... certain sweaters came bubbling up. ' Think I'll just stay outta that apartment 'till tha holidays start on up... Then I'll be ready fer it.' As he thought this to himself, the short-ish human suddenly blinked as his senses picked up a certain signature. The familiar feel of a ki-user just bleeding energy everywhere. It wasn't anything near the power levels he was feeling farther north... Said power levels were why he himself was "stealthed" and keeping his power hidden as he flew. ' Urrrgh... I should prolly warn whoever this is 'bout tha sorta folks that go fer small-fry like us.' ' Maybe you'll make a new friiiiieeeeeend!' ' Oh good, yer back...' ' Ya know ya missed me, squirt.' Speenatch began to angle himself towards the leaking ki that he was feeling. While descending down towards the ground. ' I'm just gunna block ya out with sum social contact, kay?' ' Gooood- I mean... OH NO! Don't do that!' Soon enough, he was in sight of a red-headed man just sitting in the middle of a field. Said man was practically lit up like a beacon to his third eye. And his regular eyes, since it was all flickering and visible. Speenatch crossed his arms and slowed down as he did a fly-by over the stranger's head. He turned himself around, crossed his arms... and came to a landing in front of the guy. As the sun set, taking the daylight with it, the short man's red-rimmed shades reflected the light of Ryson's aura. Said aura also illuminated his body, showing the garish gi of many colors. Aqua blue for the top... neon green for the belt... bright orange pants... and hot-pink boots. Though, there was another addition to the ensemble. A rather strange, striped turtleneck sweater that he wore underneath the sleeveless gi.. Said stripes alternated between green and black... and they weren't a uniform size. Some were fat, others weirdly thin. Clearly, it was the work of an amateur, at best. Speenatch waited juuuuuust a moment before clearing his throat, and speaking in his "Steel" affectation. "' Eya, buddy? Pal-arino? Just a friendly warnin' from one bromigo ta 'nother. Ya really don't wanna be broadcastin' yer power like yer doin' right now. Might uh... lead ta tha "wrong crowd" thinkin' ya want a fight. Ya pickin' up wut I'm layin' down...?" Right after he asked this, the short fighter gave a friendly grin. Or at least... a smile that would have been friendly if one could see his eyes. Without them, it just looked like a reeeeaaaallly wide grin. [PL: 31,200. The cold of the wasteland was something that Soilderp could never get enough of. The feeling of the cold was simply so different from anything he could or had ever felt at home. He would also see things that he didn't expect to see, like a pack of wolves, or other strange unknown creatures (to him at least). But this time, something even more peculiar than thee norm lied in wait at the snowfield. As he came closer, he came to realize that it was actually a pair of people. Quickly, he came to the ground as to not be seen by the pair on the ground. One was releasing energy, almost like some sort of beacon for someone to lock onto. He couldn't exactly pin what race they were, but his power excited him nonetheless. The other was clearly a human man. He looked almost like a wrestler. He quickly overheard the human talk, mentioning how the boy should be more careful. Well, he wasn't wrong. But, clearly, he wanted to attract someone to him, and, well, Soilderp would be his guy. At the fastest pace he could, he leaped from the bushes, landing on the ground with little tufts of smoke emanating from where his feet landed. You called? he said to the man who was about to stand up.

As Ryson was about to stop his meditation and return home, a funnily dressed man flew in and spoke to him. The colorful character warned him about the dangers of releasing his ki like that.
"Oh, oops. I gotcha. I didn't mean to broadcast my ki like that. I was concentrating really hard.
This guy had a strange way of speaking, and his outlandish outfit made Ryson smile. He checked his scouter to see how strong this guy was but there was nothing there, he was probably able to hide his ki, unlike Ryson. He stood up and his ki dissipated. He went in for a quick bow to introduce himself, as his father taught him he should when greeting people for the first time.
"My name is Ryson. Ryson Usagi. Thank you for the warning. I'm glad some kind of villain didn't show up. And you are?"
Despite not knowing how strong the man was he still felt that twinge of anticipation in his tail that he seems to get when he wants to fight or spar. He thought that maybe this guy wanted some action too, why else would he be wandering all the way out here?
"Hey, maybe you wanna-"
Before he could finish his sentence a half man half animal of sorts leapt from the snowy bushes off to the side and said: "You called?" He seemed prepared to brawl.
"Uhhhh I'm confused, I didn't call anyone. Unless... OH!"
He looked over at the man beside him and asked.
"Wanna have a bout with me and that guy over there?"

Speenatch uncrossed his arms and held one out for a shake... right as Ryson bowed. He blinked behind his shades, and slowly bowed in return. Once he straightened back up, he went back to crossing his arms. Mostly so he could keep his bare hands hidden under his pits. It was a bit nippy.
"Nice ta meetcha, "Ryson"... Mind if I call ya Rye? As fer me..." He uncrossed his sweater-covered arms, extending on forward... before jabbing it back towards himself at high-speed. He stopped it rather suddenly, revealing the thumb pointed towards his body... "I'm the-!"
His intro was interrupted before it could begin. Interrupted by a little animal-boy-thing coming on out of nowhere and acting like somebody had put a light on a cloud for... him... "Boy I sure wish ya showed up just about a momento 'er two earlier. Then I coulda said, "Case in point"... 'er sumthin' like that." He lowered both of his arms to his sides... then crossed them yet again.
'Dagnabbit, still nippy. An' this sweater's more itchy 'n warm...'
Then the orange-headed teen with the tail- 'Oh good, 'nother low-powered saiyan kid that wants a fight above 'is weight-class... Man I can't believe I used ta be scared o' these guys...'-asked for a good old fashioned spar from the stranger he just met. Whose name he had yet to learn. In the middle of a wheat field.
Speenatch put a hand to his goatee'd chin, rubbing it from side-to-side. His lips pursed up, and he made quite a few "Hmmm"s and "Haaaaaaa"s. Then he paced about around the stalks of wheat that had been crushed from Ryson's aura being extended over them for the past few minutes. If not longer.
"...Yeah sure, why not? Though uh... if we're doin' this two on one 'er as a three-way... let's maybe... not do it in tha middle o' a wheat field. People's food comes from 'ere." He began to float upwards, before thumbing off towards the wilderness as he continued, "I know a spot 'er two out 'ere that'd be perfectamundo! C'n both ya dudes fly?"

After coming out of the bushes, the two stared at him in an odd manner. Had he done something wrong? Did they not want hime there? His thoughts were quickly quelled when the two began to speak. Eventually they agreed to team up to fight, but not here. They needed to fight somewhere else as to not damage the crops around him that people needed to eat. Fair enough. Yeah, I can fly! I'll leave it up to you two where we fight. Honestly, we should do a three-way battle, as to not stack it in anyone person's favor. He looked at the two and tried to get a gauge on their power as they delegated. The boy with the orange hair seemed to be decently powerful, though he was just barely under Soilderp in terms of raw strength. It was possible, though, that he had techniques up his sleeve to fight those stronger than him. He had definitely seen it before when he watched people fight elsewhere. The other person was, strange, to say the least. They looked very capable as a fighter, but they seemed to be suppressing their energy. Something in his gut told him that this man was much stronger than he himself was. That just made the situation all the more exciting. He flew into the air with the wrestling man, waiting for the other man to join them.

Ryson looked at the animal boy and said:
"Good idea about not teaming up. C'mon let's follow him! We can all have a proper introduction once we're there."
A long time ago he wouldn't really care all that much about fighting but ever since the mountain with the saibamen Ryson hasn't been able to keep himself from fighting and sparring. It's like the Saiyan side of him had only come out recently. There was no explaining it, he just needed this. Ryson jumped into the air and caught up with the bearded man and asked:
"Where is this place exactly? Is there a lot of room?"
Ryson was all too eager right now. It had been almost two months since he had practiced with anybody, he could almost feel his skills slipping away from him. His tailed flicked behind him gleefully. Who knows, maybe he could make a couple new friends out of these two. The thought of befriending more people was nice, h didn't meet a lot of cool people up here in the north. Most people were too busy working or were unnerved by his Saiyan side.
"Sorry if I seem too excited, it's been awhile since I've done this. I didn't mean to seem rude."
He could practically hear his mother in the back of his head scolding him for his actions. She'd have him by the ear at this point telling him to calm down. He suppressed a chuckling at the thought. At least his day got way less boring, and he could finally get this out of his system.

Speenatch gave a nod to both the men... boys? 'Eh, they're both fighters, either way.' He rose a tad bit higher into the air, gestured for them to follow... then began to fly off. At first, he lazily floated in his intended direction. He began to accelerate faster and faster over time, until he was whizzing at a high speed. Hopefully one that the two young greenhorns could keep up with.
"Three-way fight, gotcha..." When Ryson spoke up, Speenatch hastily replied, "Just a coupla tens o' klicks ta tha south-east, kid. Not too far... An' yes, plenty o' room, it's all open plains. I remember it from tha last time I wus this far north." There may or may not have been a slightly snappy tone in his voice. Or at least a tone one could have surmised as snappy.
Though said tone faded when Ryson apologized. "'Pology accepted... but uh... 'nother friendly word o' advice? Talkin' like that makes this sorta thing weird. We're just an adult man an' two teenage boys goin' out inta tha wilderness ta beat tha tar outta each other..." He paused for a moment as he realized what he said. "Aaaaand now I made it weird."
During said pause, they arrived! ...At a random piece of tundra that looked like all the rest they'd been flying over for the past fifteen minutes. But it was a suitable distance from all the nearby villages, just perfectly out of all of their way.
The sweatered fighter slowed to a stop, then he lowered himself down to the ground. Down, down he descended... until his hot-pink boots were on the ground once more. He gave a nod. A smirk.
"Alrighty... this 'ere's tha place..." Then, without another word, he let his ki "decompress"... With a puff of aqua-colored air, his aura became apparent to ki-senses and scouters alike. Speenatch began to stretch and roll his shoulders and arms about. He even gave a few practice jabs and kicks as he spoke up, "Right then, s'pose it's time fer me ta introduce maself... Unless ya both wanna go first."
["Ki-Compression" ended. PL is now apparent to appropriate senses and sensors...]

As the other hybrid joined them in the air, they began to very quickly take flight toward their new fighting grounds. As they flew, the other two remarked about how the situation was strange. Honestly, Soilderp didn't see the problem here, but living in a forest for 13 years can really change your views on social aspects. Soilderp simply shrugged at his remark. When they finally landed, the man's power came forth and was visible to Soilderp. His hunch had been completely correct, as his power stood on a level quite a bit above his own. That only made this a more exciting prospect. As he gave them an opportunity to introduce themselves, Soilderp very quickly jumped on the prospect. My name is Seth, but most people call me Soilderp, I am pleased to meet both of you. He looked to each person and gave a friendly nod to them.

"I'm not sure what you mean by weird. Also, I'm almost 25. So the only teen here is that guy probably."
Ryson gestured towards the younger hybrid as he mentioned him. They finally made it and the youngest of the group introduced himself.
"Soilderp? That's a unique nickname if I've ever heard one. Well, it's nice to mee you. My name is Ryson."
He gave another quick bow of recognition. Not once had he ever stopped to think if a bow was too formal. Ever. In his life. So naturally, he still assumed that it was completely normal. When their introductions finished the big-haired man revealed his power. Ryson's scouter beeped in his ear and read out the numbers to him.
"Uh, wow! You're way stronger than I thought! It's hard to tell when you hide it like that. Makes things more interesting."
Ryson smiled and let out a small chuckle.
"I'm starting to re-think not teaming up! Nah, just kidding, this kind of challenge is exactly what I need to get stronger."
Ryson knew he probably wouldn't win if this guy went all out, but he hoped he would. He's learned the hard way that losing isn't the same as failure. Especially with the zenkai boost from his Saiyan side. Even if he gets beat down hard, he can still grow and learn from the experience.
"So what's the plan? Should we establish some rules? Other than the obvious ones like "no murder"."

" Ya made it weirder, buddy. Ya made it weirder." He shook his head before stretching and performing a few warm-up punches and kicks. A few introductions later, it came down to his turn. So, of course, he had to put in a little flair. He started out by thumbing towards himself with a very quick, definitive motion. " Well, as fer me... I'm THE..." He paused for a moment before entering his first pose. A slow, almost tai-chi like movement preceded his sudden snap into position. One arm was bent upwards in front of him, while the other was held near his face. " Unbreakable..." He reoriented quickly, moving to squat and flex both of his arms at once. " MISTER..." He ended the whole series with a double-victory(or peace-sign)-pose. " STEEEEEEEEEEEEEL!!!" After all that, he finally got into his fighting stance. One fist was held out in front of him... in a pseudo-blocking fashion. The other was held right up against his face. He spread his legs to about a shoulder-width apart, and put one behind the other. Then, while holding his pose, he sloooooowly floated himself to be a good twenty feet or so from his other two opponents. " Now, as fer rules... nothin' beyond common sense. If sumbuddy taps out, they're done. Ya stop fightin' focus on who's left. No killin', no extra brutality. Just fight like we're sparrin'. Ya both got that?" He paused for a moment, letting the two others get themselves into position. While he waited, he pondered... ' Alright, compared ta me... they're both pretty low on power. So I'll stick ta ma lower-end techniques. See wut they c'n do...' " Ya both ready? ...Get set... FIGHT!!!" And with that, things were rolling. Speenatch went for Ryson first, since they'd run into each other first. Not the greatest system for selecting targets, but it certainly was one. He opened with a quick combo, using his greater speed and power to his advantage to jab and kick at the redheaded man. A left jab, right jab, roundhouse kick, knee strike... then, capping it all off... a full-force cross punch. Said cross punch was infused with ki as Speenatch let it fly. The muscle and skin hardened to become as tough as steel, and hit with a far greater force than an onrushing car... or bullet. It was flying at high-speed, in other words. The two very quickly made their introductions soon after Seth made his. The hybrid boy called himself Ryson. He seemed similar to other humans he had met, but based on certain features, he could tell that this person was a hybrid. The other called himself Mr. Steel. The way he went about introducing himself was very comical to Seth. Maybe he would be like that one day, well, after his father was gone. But time for thinking was not present for him, as the fight began almost as soon as the thought entered his head. Very quickly, Mr. Steel dashed toward his opponent, Ryson, to deliver a wicked, ki-infused punch. This was good. As this was happening, Seth held a hand forward and began to charge his energy attack. He needed this confusion to be unnoticed. But there was no guarantee it would work. He at least had to try. Charge for [N1] Pure Deluge has begun Charge is at 33% Current tech PL: 2662

The way Mr. Steel introduced himself was incredibly comical. His moves, however, were no joke. After he got into position he attacked Ryson with a barrage of well-placed attacks. Ryson only managed to avoid a few and did his best to block the rest. He pulled his arms in front of his body and they took the rest of the blows. He then finished it with a ki infused attack. It was much more powerful than the others and it broke Ryson's guard and struck him in the chest.
"Guh!"
Ryson moved back a bit to recuperate. He decided to retaliate. Ryson sent back a few kicks aimed at Mr. Steel's core, a couple quick punches at his center, then finished it off with his own Ki attack, Volcano Slam. He clamped his hands together down below like he was playing volleyball, and his hands and arms started to glow a bright red. Ryson pulled them back up to strike Mr. Steel in the gut. Hopefully, this would do a little something. The younger fighter to the side began charging his move at the same time and Ryson took note of this. And stayed cautious of him because he was a bit stronger than Ryson.

Speenatch had to quickly switch to a defensive stance when Ryson went on the counter-offensive. The kicks he blocked with his big, hairy arms, therefore protecting his "core"... the part where all those squishy organs were. As well as being a source for any strikes he wanted to make. However, this left his chest wide open, as both of his arms were too busy down low to protect himself. And when he raised them to block any further strikes? Well... the orange-haired man charged his ki and slammed his hands up to hit Speenatch right in the core he'd been trying to protect earlier. So what did the man do?
'Only one thing TA do...'
He took it. He took that hit like a champ. That isn't to say he took any damage from the hit, though. Instead, he pumped ki to the skin and muscle in that area. When the attack impacted, it still pushed him and caused him to crumple a tad... but he wasn't hurt.
[Technique Used: "Man of Steel", can block techniques within 100% of PL (15,600). "Volcano Slam" is blocked.] [KP Used: 1 KP = 1/3]
The protective aura did not extend to his clothing, however. So his sweater and gi began to burn as the attack penetrated the barrier of his ki-aura... damage that they wouldn't have taken from a lesser hit. His body, however, was perfectly fine. Even as he bent over and contorted his face to look like the gasping of a man that had just gotten the wind knocked out of them. He also sent his arms out wide to add to the surprise.
'Just gotta milk it... make 'im believe he got off that hit... Really sell it!' He gasped a few more times, made his eyes bug out behind his shades... and raised his brows. He couldn't quite drain the color from his face on command, but he could darn well try.
'Aaaaand... now!'
His gasping turned to a smirk as his hands went from being out to his sides... to flying towards Ryson's wrists. If they got that grip off... Well, he was going to plant his feet in the ground, then twirl the orange-haired man around for a proper SLAM into the dirt. Followed shortly thereafter by a knee-strike slam aimed at Ryson's own gut. Not ki infused, just a hard hit. Regardless... he was going to back up a good distance, zipping low over the ground before ceasing all movement... Then getting on his feet in his earlier stance.
"Nice try, bud! But I ain't called "Unbreakable" fer nuthin'!"
...It was then that his ki-senses focused from one opponent, to the second. The younger hybrid was just standing still as the other combatants fought.
'Heh... I c'n feel that energy chargin' up. Well, after seein' wut a hit I c'n see comin' does, he'll prolly aim fer tha redhead. So I just gotta play it safe, let this Ryson feller tucker 'imself out... and leave himself open fer wutever attack is comin'.'

The fight blazed on as Seth charged his energy, and it sure was a good one. Ryson seemed to get a good hit on Mr. Steel, but Seth was simply too concentrated on charging to actually confirm that. Finally he could feel it was ready. But who to shoot it at? Shooting it at Mr. Steel seemed like it would be a waste of energy, but the same could go for Ryson. Eventually, he made his pick, and aimed down at the Hybrid. "PURE DELUGE!!" he shouted as the beam of pure light was released from his hands.
