Gira sat cross-legged on some of the highest peaks of Mount Paozu, here eyes closed and her hands in her lap. The tailless half-Saiyan was in her training gear, as she expected to do some physical training at first today. She was completely calm and tranquil now, though, meditating. Her strength of body was coming along nicely, but her strength of mind could use some work. 'Be like a river... calm, still, transparent.' Gira envisioned herself as a wide river, stretching out over the earth. She was crystal clear. One could see to the bottom if they looked over. 'Nothing can move you. Nothing can hurt you. Fists, swords, energy... they all pass through you, ineffectual.' While her thoughts faded into the background, only the river remaining, Gira remained completely aware. In fact, more aware than ever.
She felt the ebb and flow of the Earth's energy around her. A small squirrel jumped from tree to tree some distance away. While this might have escaped Gira's notice before, now she noticed it. She felt it. Slowly, the river in her mind faded from view as she opened her eyes to look out at the forest below her. She sat on a great cliff overlooking the bulk of Mount Paozu's forests, the sun beginning to set on the horizon, casting brilliant purples, reds, and blues across the sky. It was truly a beautiful sight. The peace and tranquility here made this place perfect for meditating. Gira couldn't believe she didn't realize it before. She flew over this area several times, but never stopped to take it all in until now.
She was happy that at this moment, she decided to. A smile crossed the young hybrid's lips as she stood, stretching out her muscles. She had been meditating there for hours, but it only seemed like half an hour tops. Gira realized that she was constantly full of energy, wanting to go go go all the time. Rarely did she take a moment to sit and meditate. 'I gotta do this more often. I feel... refreshed.' She smiled and looked out over the horizon. "Well, I guess I should go home. Sun's going down."
