Oh suuuuure, don't tag the Ogre who can literally get to Hell in a day, I don't mind at allllllll. Joining this.
"Of course you're joining it! Why wouldn't I invite you to a tournament that I'm in charge of..."
Also in regards to the supression being unfair on the strong, without it, it becomes less a test of skill and more of a 'who's been around longer' since it's unfair towards the weak instead. Equalizing PL isn't unfair
But I do see your point so I won't really pursue it. Besides, daunting power gaps make for good story tension
I honestly think that people are going to hold back anyway if faced with a much weaker opponent. It's not like there's any real stakes to this tournament after all. If we were going to make it so that the first round had 'relatively equal fights', it'd mean that we ourself would have to make the brackets, and not actually let our holy god RNG decide for ourselves. More than likely it'd STILL be unfair, since even a small gap of about 5K PL can make a HUGE difference in the lower PL regions.
Also not a fan of it due to reasons I stated earlier. Fighters like Plato, myself, and (potentially) Vennel, would just meet and fight eachother again, while I was aiming to spark some fresh, new interactions between different people of all power ranges.
I can see why people would think its unfair though-
