Sorry for tagging and bothering all of you so suddenly, yet I have some questions for you fellow dead folk.
How would you guys be interested in a neat little tournament that takes place in Hell, hosted by Kaza and Jizo ?
The general idea behind The Hell GamesTM is that a lot of SSE and MD folk ended up dying in the war, and despite being dead, I thiiiink SSE people still kinda hate MD people, and vice versa. Maybe not as passionately as they hated eachother while alive, but I think we can build on the competitive nature between them!
So what better way to do that than to host a tournament, and see which faction comes out on top?
Ofcourse, even neutral and unaffiliated characters are free to participate as well! Hell, ANYONE with the ability to visit the Afterlife can swing by and join The Hell GamesTM, the more the merrier!
I hope ya'll like the idea, and are interested in joining in! I'll try and think of some sort of prize for the winner, and maybe even the runner-up, but I'm not too sure about that yet. Jizo and I will probably start the IC planning when we feel that enough people are interested in joining, so I really hope that you guys are excited! Please, share your thoughts!
What I personally intend on doing is to have The Hell GamesTM use the same system and rules that the Heaven & Hell Tournament used, since those rules are familiar and already proved to work nicely. Will save everyone a looottaa headaches!
An idea, although I personally have to admit that I'm not a big fan of PL-centric brackets. I feel it alienates the strong from the weak, and vice versa. I feel it'd be much more interesting and potentially entertaining to have people of all power and skill ranges competing.
Also the fact that most 100K+ people currently in hell are more than familiar with one another, and the same goes for most sub-100K people. Not many new, refreshing interactions would be made, is what I fear.
Those are just my thoughts, though- I'd like to hear some other opinions as well o:
I feel like a lot of this 'power level' problem could be cleared up if we could only have some way to suppress everyone's PL But mechanically I think the only way to do that is to have everyone in the tourney know ki setting themselves
