Within the world of a particular Majin's mind; one must understand the simple interests that satisfy one's, heart. Why this may be is due to the fact that most times there are few topics that actually catch the attention of this rather blissful individual. First on the list is the calm weather days. These days are what make TaranTallegra smile wide and proud when it is early in the morning. It means that day is in a good state roam around the world. Explore. Learn new things as usual. Such antics like this drive her to wake up each day. Although nothing is a bigger guilty pleasure than learning a new flavor to some sort of digestible item. Preferably candy yes. In fact, Tallegra finds herself regularly making trips through the streets of nearby cities in order to poach on what they have to offer in terms of food. To put it metaphorically paying for her restaurant bill is a death sentence to bank accounts everywhere. Which is another reason why she constantly finds herself in trouble with some diners that have mixed feelings about her arriving on site. If it wasn't for her varying utility in performing odd jobs she wouldn't have the funds to do what she normally does, and this is a very slim advantage too.
Now with that said, the unfortunate truth is that even now Tallegra is up to no good in terms of herself. Her demeanor at the moment was collected, and calm. Although her mind was racing with ideas from one side of the cerebrum to the next. Her thought process by her standards seems clever. She wants to try the new candy bar that one of her favorite brands is releasing out to the market. Currently, the stores around the area she resides in are in short supply. Why? Well, there are more Earthling children around here that can't stop nagging their parents to split them some money to go buy one. And Tallegra herself as hard as she tries had to run across a lot of conflicting landscapes just to make it to a city that had stores with an available stock, or cheap enough price to even attempt to snatch up a deal. With that comes with the unfortunate dilemma of having to pay for transportation. She hasn't learned much about ki or Majin abilities, to begin with, which makes her limited in options for a situation such as this. Nevertheless, she is here now, in a place unknown to her for reasons that are simply explained as she doesn't know where she is or whats around. All she knows thanks to an ad in a scavenged paper that here in this specific city, there will be a sale going on for that prized Wammy Candy Bar. That is all that matters.
All of her effort takes her to the moment that she had been prepared to deal with. The final stretch. Eager as she may be, she caught herself in love once more with that intoxicating scent of all sorts of foods of all different kinds. As much as she loves bakeries, her eyes were set on that window advertised candy bar. She was in reach of a holy sanctum. Although the pressure was on as she spotted her competition. A line of five, no six at the most. It was heartbreaking. Tallegra eyes these Earthlings as if they betrayed her. She does not know what their orders may be from that menu of vast treats, but as long as it doesn't consist of her beloved Wammy then she can care less. She took a deep breath as the glass panel door closed behind her. She didn't want to loose her cool after all. Her ill-temper is not something she wants getting her into trouble today. Tallegra being the strong Majin that she is, resisted the urge to trip the kid holding a Wammy in his hands, while noisily smacking his lips. The mere sound of him enjoying something she does not have yet, made her left eyebrow twitch in irritation. She crossed her arms and looked away. She thinks to herself for a moment somewhere along the lines that someone ought to teach the kid manners. Seeing that the mother of said child is failing at being strict with her discipline if that kid convinced her to buy a Wammy at the expense of a Majin being there. Everyone knows not to tease a Majn about candy. Its unheard of! Who does this without feeling guilty about it?!
A whole ten minutes die out, or in some cases, an hour as Tallegra can't tell the difference by now. At this rate waiting in this line is stale. She is constantly squirming by now, looking at the menu back to back with worrisome glances. Is it life telling her to back out now while she has her sanity, or is her luck seriously this crummy? Se couldn't tell. Five minutes in, some grandmother was taking ages trying to figure out if it's worth treating her grandchildren to the apparently troublesome snacks listed on the board. The health of her grandchildren leads her to believe that a mere bite will cause an immediate fatal issue. Needless it should be mentioned she is only going about this due to the fact one of them forgot to tell her they are allergic to peanuts. Otherwise, all is well. But it was her first experience with such an issue, that spooked her into thinking that all candy is a near death trap-door if she doesn't check their ingredients. In other words, if it doesn't come from her own manufacturing it is not safe. Poor grandma. But this is not about grandma.
Tallegra was at the point to when she was the third in line she was all fussy. Almost ready to bribe people to cut in line. Lucky the next two were quick. And by all means, her attitude changed once she was next. A worried, but excite smile crossed her pink blooming face. A mix of feelings overcame the Majin in a way that her mouth went dry at first. Her heartbeat straining her breathing as she didn't prepare herself to speak on behave of having to order so soon. She was so clueless as to how fast this was actually going that, she almost forgot what she came here for. Still, with a sudden spark of memory, she apologized sheepishly for standing at the desk so awkwardly. The cashier was patient enough to allow her to wait and decide. Mostly because he knew this Majin personally. Well, the whole shop does actually. But still, they are used to her random moments. Still, without hesitation, Tallegra cleared her throat softly and shook her head slightly to keep her mind fresh. Then with a look of confidence. She spoke in a clear voice. Her young, but maturing female voice tone die wonders in showing how shy she was about this situation though.
"M-may I please have one Wammy Chocolate Candy Bar?" She asked expecting the worst. Alas, that never came. The cashier chuckled though as he could tell this was something that was probably a big deal to Tallegra for whatever reason. Not much else but, that though. He nodded and reassured with a calm reply of the generic wording of: ok. Then proceeded to place the order then asked for the needed money. And this is was the final push. With gleaming blue eyes she gasped surprised that it was going so well. Proud to have made it this far, she reached into her money pouch wrapped around her right thigh, and....and.....where is her money?
Her smile was still present as if to buy time to hopefully find her needed cash, but she kept scanning the internal area of the pouch and was feeling nothing but empty space her expression was a full look of terror. How could this even be happening? How is this even a thing? She knows she had money. Did she get pickpocketed without realizing? She frantically looked around. Nothing. Bent down one knee checking underneath people's feet. But nothing. Her money. Was actually gone. Her ending look to the cashier was probably the most depressed look Tallegra ever had in her life, which is a lot to say for someone as normally happy as herself. The walk of shame was a hard one. Having to cancel the order, then walk out the store. Sitting on the nearby bench in shame. The waterworks were nearly forming completely until a lady in a dark blue sundress nudged her shoulder. No words were said when Tallegra peeked up at her, only to notice that she was holding something out to her. She looked and...
What's this?? Her money!! How?? When?? What!! Tallegra was too shocked to even comprehend what was happening. Was that her money? Or is this lady just somehow a mind reader. No, it is!! That's the same creased edge as she remembers. Hooray!
"You dropped this on your way in from staring at the picture on the window. I tried to give it to you, but you didn't notice me attempting to get your attention I suppose. Might want to keep a tighter hold on it next time okay sweetie?" The woman said kindly. Raising her left hand to pet the Majin's head softly. In no time Tallegra hugged the woman then bolted for the door. She was all but elated about to give the man the needed money for the Wammy when life, just couldn't help but tease her again. She stopped for a moment. Then realized that she had canceled the order. And well... There goes another blasted line to wait in. She just can't win can she?
