“Gin, I need you to clear the gravity chamber, I need somewhere to cool down” Habana growled into the scouter not receiving an immediate response but even in her infuriated state knowing that Gin was at work, the logical part of her mind hated speaking to him like that but her anger was getting the better of her. At least she knew that he likely did not take it the wrong way. He was after all the one who had delivered the news to her, he knew exactly why she was in such a state.
With the firm belief that Gin would have the job done Habana stalked through the halls through the ship down to where her gravity chamber was, as she did so she could feel a few energy signatures still in it from down the hall as she stepped out of the elevator that had taken her to this floor.
As she stepped out though the feeling of their powers clashing suddenly came to an abrupt halt, each signature pausing where it had been, a few steps into the hall and she could feel the signatures very quickly moving out of the chamber and briefly down the hall that would lead to her before they stopped once more and bolted in the other direction.
“Thank you Gin” Habana said not into the scouter but out loud knowing it was very likely the young hybrid had assumed direct control of the ship's camera and communication systems. It was a brief and ultimately silent walk the rest of the way to the chamber, the heavy doors sliding open to welcome her inside and sliding shut the moment she was in.
Not more than a moment after the doors shut Habana unleashed a roar and an eruption of energy at the various training targets littered throughout the chamber, the last group likely having been working on tactic for a battle with the Mazoku. Habana vaporized the targets almost immediately and the machinery of the chamber quickly retracted what remained of any other equipment.
“That felt good…” Habana muttered letting out a breath, letting off even just a little bit of steam provided her far more control of herself now, she no longer felt as if she were on the edge of just ascending to her full power and potentially damaging her ship in the process.
“Alright, focus time.” Another few calming breaths “Gotta work fast, Kais know how long it’ll be before something goes wrong over there.”
Habana tapped her scouter a few times scrolling through her immediate contacts for the first person she needed to call.
“Shemha I know you’re busy, I hope this isn't reaching you during a fight. If it is, focus on your battle don’t let me distract you. You'll either be receiving a message about it soon or already have, Vi-Poi has decided to go against the partnership. I suppose you were right not to trust him. He’s given no real option that I can agree to. I’m afraid I’m going to have to make another decision without properly seeking your opinion on the matter. I have a plan in mind for the aftermath if things go as I expect. If they do, know that the choice I made is because it is the one that ensures some level of cohesion for the Empire if everything works out properly. I won't take my time, so I expect you to keep everything in order as best you can.” Habana said cutting off without a proper ‘end’ to the message sending it off to Shemha immediately. Part of Habana worried that Shemha would just rush to her side, as much as she needed help the Empire would need her more.
“Alright that wasn’t so bad” Habana said with a sigh, it was odd sending off these messages, skirting around the very likely possibility of the outcome of standing against Vi-Poi as if she feared it. She knew better, it was pointless to fear it. She tapped the scouter again “Hey Maeve Rakshasa * I wish I was sending this under better circumstances, I don’t know if you’re aware… and honestly I hope you’re not since the alternative is you’ve turned on me just like they did, but I suppose I have to hope for the best. Vi-Poi has come to Vegeta, he's making demands I simply can’t kneel to, my ship is inbound for Vegeta and I’ll be heading to confront him as soon as I arrive.
I’m not actually sure what to expect from this call, I SHOULDN'T be asking you for help since this is against Poi but you’re one of the few people I know that I can try to call that if you DO help me you’re least likely to end up how I expect I will. If you can’t it’s alright nothing will keep me down for long” Habana said sending the message off to Maeve just as she had with Shem, close as they were Habana could not honestly expect Maeve to stand against Poi, maybe though she could find some other way to help. A part of Habana however really did hope that they were close enough that Maeve would even stand against someone like Poi with her. As the Guardian of Earth Habana had to believe Poi was not likely to strike her down quite so quickly.
“Two more” Habana said rolling her shoulders, this was almost as exhausting as actual training. “Pin I swear if you’re already en-route I’m going to smack you.” Habana said stopping briefly to allow herself a hollow chuckle “I know you’re hooked up to the Empire’s net pretty much at all times, I can’t imagine Vi-Poi’s actions have eluded you’re notice. If you’re there hold tight, I’ll be there as soon as I can, if not it's up to you if you come, I have no clue if there is any other sort of action planned but you’re one of the few in the Empire I want at my side for this, not just because I know you’ll make it through no matter what but because you are one of the few proper friends I have and I’d want nothing more than to have you at my side. I’ve made an effort to dissuade Shemha and I’m only calling in one other person I can genuinely expect to come. Once this is over if it goes how I expect find the Zenith and get to Gin. He’ll have something for you, I think you’ll appreciate it and put it to good use.” Habana said a small grin spreading at the thought.
“Even if you’re not there, I expect to see you soon no matter what happens” Habana said ending the call, which left her with just one last call that she felt she needed to make. It was a bit nerve wracking to decide to make the call, with how long it had been would she even come?
There was only one way to find out. “Hey Zucceta so things have taken a bit of a problematic turn. Vi-Poi has apparently taken such offense to my taking over of Mazoku allied worlds that he’s willing to break the alliance between the Empire and Earth before Xylo has even been dealt with, he expects the Empire to bend to his will, I won’t let him do it though, the Empire won't accept him and almost especially not if I.. fall.. Fighting him instead of keeling to his childish whims.
I.. I’m not sure how possible it is, but well. I'd rather NOT die though if i'm entirely honest, I know it's not necessarily the end but I’m still not fond of the concept so if you get this in time maybe swing my way and fight alongside me? I like to imagine if we’re working as a team even Poi couldn't beat us. I’ve tried my best to run the Empire as something I think you’d be proud of, I hope you not showing up wasn’t a sign you’re not.. I’ll uh i'll stop rambling now, gotta head out. I hope to see you, and if I’ve done something wrong I’m sorry.” Habana finally and very abruptly to keep herself from continuing on cut off the call.
Another heavy sigh and Habana felt her vision blur and the familiar sensation of an incoming vision. She grit her teeth at the feeling and with every ounce of her mental strength fought it off, it was painful and not exactly a process she was used to doing but if Habana knew nothing else it was that she wanted no part of seeing what was to come today.
*Habs probably just says Maeve, I just wanted to do a neat way of tagging y'all.
If any of y'all wanna post a direct reaction or resp go4it.
