Pin had expected to be basically vaporized on the spot for his little diatribe. He was, after all, facing the single greatest source of power he’d ever encountered, ever even heard of. Not once in his travels or research had he ever seen mention of someone with quite the strength of this one, oddly designed android. A small part of him wanted to be jealous, but he pushed it aside. Now was not the time for such petty emotions. Now was the time to face death with courage.
Of course, he wasn’t vaporized. This was largely due to the fact that shortly after his challenge of Vi-Poi’s logic, someone stronger and more brilliant than Pin could ever hope to be arrived - Queen Habana herself, flanked by her personal retinue. She backed Pin’s argument, and internally he swelled with pride. Having such a direct endorsement from the Red Hot Regent might not have been a new occurrence, but it would never, ever get old. She, too, challenged the Earth android, denying his conditions and built further upon Pin’s accusation that Vi-Poi was a hypocrite, and escalated it to an accusation of incompetence.
Vi-Poi himself responded, flippantly at that. He presented a holographic image of a defeated Xylo and claimed that he’d defeated the Mazoku lord himself already. Pin’s shock would have been apparent on his face, had his helmet not hidden his expression entirely. That shock wore off quickly, however. An image like that was easily falsified, even if the little blue-haired android could easily defeat Xylo there was no real evidence to back up that claim.
Before Pin could respond, demanding answers and evidence and further accountability, Vi-Poi tasked one of his allies - a woman who Pin hadn’t really noticed, as he’d been focusing on the literal universe-ending power before him - with taking care of him and Ginge. Pin’s focus switched to Tulip then, and he assessed her power. She was strong, but nothing he couldn’t handle. Especially with a little help from Ginge. Interesting that their training against Habana would come in so handily so soon. Meanwhile, Vi-Poi was laying it on heavy with the shit-talking to the Queen.
Everything that came next happened so, so fast.
First another Earthling arrived, whom he vaguely recognized from a dossier he’d read upon his return. He’d been a bit more chrome in that file, though. He addressed one of Vi-Poi’s lackeys, and then went on to plead with the android himself.
Then came a creature he recognized from Habana’s impromptu coronation. She all but appeared out of fucking nowhere, in an entrance that Pin - who had a penchant for the dramatic entry - couldn’t help but respect. She also spoke to the strange child lackey, then the Earth man, before extending her six arms as if to hold Habana and Vi-Poi away from each other. She gave a speech of her own, but Pin couldn’t help but take note of her arms. If he and Maeve both survived this, he’d need to trade notes with her - they had more in common that he would have expected.
And then the former Queen arrived, Lady Death herself. Attended by an android that Pin seemed to recognize but could not recall in the presence of quite so many incredibly powerful warriors, Zuccetta descended from her ship into the ever-swelling sea of tension amongst titans, and spoke like a mother scolding her children. It was in that moment that the awe of it all wore off, and Pin could not help but resent this woman, who had left her world and her people but now presumed to condescend to her successor.
Shaken from his brief reverie, Pin turned back to face Tulip. She was, after all, his potential opponent. He placed a hand on Ginge’s shoulder, his helmet registering the power of the attack that she continued to charge.
“We’ve run this mission before,” he said to her, referencing their training with the Queen, “You’re far stronger now than you were then, and our enemy far less daunting. Charge your attacks and launch them when they’ll hurt the most. I’ll take the fight to the invader and keep her busy.”
Pin took his hand from Ginge and placed it on the back of his head as he approached Tulip, in a gesture of casual dismissal. His body language was clear - this woman did not threaten him one bit.
“Since the literal space gods are all clamoring for peace, I’ll give you one chance to just stand down and watch this thing play out. I’ll make popcorn. It’ll be a good time. Refuse, however…”
Pin took this moment to deploy all four of his Aranea module’s tentacle arms, their claws all rotating like vicious drills, a clear threat.
“And your buddies will have to bury an empty casket.”

[Thread PL: 90,483] [UT] Liquid Ki - Mist Active! Ki suppressed to 10000]
After having quelled at least some of the pandemonium in Cacumber and freed an ancient Half-Ogre being from a magic jar (and subsequently feeling bad for pretty much ditching her), Defrosch had a lot more to do now considering who he had sensed gathering. He had put trust in a fair few of them, yet also knew full well how emotional they could potentially get. Putting all his hope in his allies and friends not doing something mindbogglingly stupid too fast, Defrosch flew around a corner and quickly capsulized his Saiyan armor, morphing back to his regular shape, placing his visor scouter back on. If Vi-Poi was doing something big then it was highly likely that several synthetic warriors of the BBA would also be involved.
From here, things would get interesting.
Dipping into the ground with his mysterious diving technique, Defrosch evaded the troublemakers on the surface as he made his way towards the Imperial palace. Upon reaching the general area, still hidden underground; he first scoped it out via Ki sense to pinpoint the best way to make an entrance. 'M'kay. Tensions are no doubt high, people are powering up. Nothing has exploded yet. Unsure if that's good or bad. The longer any of them charge the more damage they're gonna make. Now isn't that just great.' Interestingly enough, out of all the people that had entered the fray... Zucceta and Etoru had not unleashed their stronger fighting forms. Were those two simply watching or were they trying to defuse the situation with words first? 'Huh. Well damn. Here's hoping I'll be proud of 'em for real.'
Scouter based scanning showed two Androids were present, and until Defrosch saw who they were he would have no idea if they were friendlies or not. Peeking through the ground with his face he got his bearings and saw a pillar nearby that he could use. Submerging himself once more; he swooped over that way, floating upwards into the pillar before properly emerging behind it, away from prying eyes.
From here he could now hear the coat-tails of the tense exchange. Bing, Maeve, Zucceta and Etoru vocalized disdain for the situation; expressing a desire for another solution. 'Nice.' Defrosch silently pumped his fist, fairly proud of those four. Everyone else on the other hand? Not so much.
Defrosch walked out from behind the pillar, noticing Cipher nearby. "Hey Cipher. Dacova says hi." He winked. "Anyways, I'm gonna potentially get my ass kicked no matter what I say to try and defuse this here thing." The Arcosian was heavily outmatched by almost everyone here; but in place of a 'self preservation' instinct, something else had kicked in. The overwhelming need to just... Plain old ground someone for being a punk.
"Yo!" He called to the group in general. "So, last time we had a party this big we had the power to restore planets to life. Was a decent gathering all things considered." Defrosch gave a nod to Zucceta, making it clear he knew what she meant about learning from the past and each other "Hows about we don't escalate whatever this is to a shit-storm that ends up needing that power again?" The whirring of mechanical tools caught the Arcosian's attention. The other android, the one with the snazzy helmet had whipped out an entire kitchen's worth of electronics as a threat. "Yeah, hopefully we won't be needing those dentistry tools."
Now, Defrosch's focus was on the powered up Super Saiyan; the one he had guessed was Habana. She was someone he hadn't formally met, but he had very much felt her ki before on Earth. That aside; Habana was appointed the new queen, and this woman had so far been implied to be the queen also given how the conversation was going. Simple, the Baoblocks just clicked. "So, you're Habana, yeah? Okay, yeah I know, I'm an Arcosian, you'll get over it-- point is; Maeve is my bestie, and from how she has spoken of you in the past, that also applies to you. She cares about you a great deal so I'm gonna cut you a little slack, but..." He paused, brow furrowing. "You can't just be pulling this crap with Arcosian Empire space after we went through all the trouble to patch it up again. I know my people are mostly major egocentric, megalomaniac windbags but c'mon. Xylo is the overall enemy here. Treat the source not the symptoms."
THE GROUNDENING BEGINS.

Twin spheres soared across the Vegetan skyline, both sleek in design and undetectable.
”Are you sure about this Shem?” Meridia asked for what must have been the dozenth time. ”The message from Habana seemed to warn us to stay away. Its possible things have already gone south.”
Static followed the girl’s words and then silence. Shemha of course heard her, the two pods designed to provide an easy link between the two, but she hesitated to answer so that her anger would not be directed at her friend. How many times was she supposed to repeat the same thing? They were here, there was no more need for discussion.
”I am aware of that Meridia, but regardless of what plan Habana might have, Vegeta must be secured. Vennel and Kaza are gone and Beppa will likely fall. We can not allow the Premier of Earth to do as he pleases.” She repeated with the same venom as the first time she explained their course.
If only Habana had listened to her, then they could have enacted a plant to weaken Earth and its warriors ahead of time. Whatever Vi-Poi planned now threatened the Empire’s future and while they were distracted here Xylo did as he pleased.
”I understand that, but wouldn’t it be wise…”
”Enough!” Shemha interrupted with a click as the channel between them disconnected. She didn’t need to explain herself further.
Overflowing with emotion thanks to her recent absorption of Plato she struggle to control her temper. The Majin’s slender fingers danced along the console before her for the first time since they entered the atmosphere. Close to the capitol now, the ship scanned for signatures to see just where Habana was.
Not only did the scan reveal the full powered Queen, but numerous signatures all about her. Pin, Vi-Poi, Etoru, Zucetta and more, a number of which she possessed no logs or knowledge of. Shit really had hit the fan.
Tch.
With a press of a button she sent the data over to Meridia’s pod, letting the girl prepare for what lie before them even if she thought it a situation they should avoid. As much as the girl tried the Majin’s patience on their journey here, she was loyal.
Across the skyline their ships shot, signatures still masked by the technology that surrounded them. Historically a creature of deception, Shemha planned to abandon her cloaked approach in short order. Nearing the cities edge, the two pods arched up into the clouds above. Both ships slowed as they rose and when they were nearly leveled out, Shemha’s fist slammed to the release hatch.
Preceded by the hiss of taxed hydraulics, Shemha leapt from the pod.
Suddenly able to sense the Majin’s signature Meridia followed albeit with a less aggressive exit. Into the air they went and then the two females dropped. Shemha led the way, the long tendril atop her head and tattered purple tunic snapping about as the wind ripped at her figure. Behind the demon fell in similar fashion, but with less desire to enter the collection of powerful individuals below.
Down they went and as they cleared the last of the clouds, Shemha scanned for a specific individual. Habana’s glorious figure was easy to pick out, cloaked in golden light. That beacon drew the Commander in and seconds after she cleared the clouds, she slammed to the ground several feet behind her.
Reducing her speed only at the last second, the ground beneath her groaned in protest as she hit. Landing in a slight crouch she straightened to her full height as Meridia touched down even farther back in a delicate fashion that matched her white dress.
With a quick scan of those around them, Shemha kept quiet as her mind reached out for the Queen’s.
”Who can we rely on?” She asked. Simple and short, she wanted to know which of the gathered warriors could be trusted when it came to eliminating Vi-Poi.

Post by Tulip Waterfield on Jul 8, 2017 5:20:40 GMT
Tulip let her salute drop and returned the secret handshake of the Premier. She’d been under the mistaken assumption the sequence of complex gestures were for a high-security purpose; using it now in a casual greeting made the woman blush, realizing she’d briefed one of the newer members of KAOS incorrectly. Her gaze shifted back towards the android, in time to catch Vi-Poi’s response to the electronic being. The Premiere held aloft his arms, displaying an image of an injured Namekian; presumably Xylo, if the young leader spoke the truth. Then, the short android pointed towards the Saiyan woman and the android. His request shocked the woman, but she responded in turn. “Of course, Vi-Poi.” The Premiere was already moving forward, passing the designated targets he’d given the hybrid. The brown-haired woman prepared to unleash her ki, when a sudden wall of energy slammed into her. It wasn’t an attack, just a warning; but that warning was enough to leave the young hybrid’s heart hammering and her hands trembling. Her gaze flew towards the source of the sudden, powerful aura. A Saiyan woman, different from Dim, was something even stronger than a Super Saiyan. Her strength was on an entirely different level. And, for the first time in months, Tulip’s fear of death started creeping back up into her heart. She clenched her hands into fists, trying to dispel the trembling. Another power source, far stronger than her, appeared, landing next to Vi-Poi. Tulip’s doubt was only growing, as the Premiere, the powerful Saiyan, and this new arrival all spoke their piece. The fear was growing further, as more and more figures appeared, all of overwhelming strength and determination. With each new person, the hybrid’s doubts swirled even further upwards. Why am I here? I only came here to find my family; I didn’t need to stick my nose into this mess! But...now that I’m here, I have only one task assigned me. I might not beat those two, but I do have to impress my premiere. Survival is key; a battle of attrition is my only option.“Don’t worry, Etoru. I’m sure Vi-Poi had a reason for assigning the task he gave you.” The emotion from before had left Tulip’s voice, as the woman grinned at the shorter hybrid. Walking forward, past the new arrivals, the young woman strolled forward towards the android and his Saiyan companion. He was speaking to the Saiyan, who was gathering a small amount of energy. Then the android stepped away, before walking towards the young hybrid. He walked forward, crossing his arms behind his head. Tulip’s gaze was on the android now, as a large grin crossed the woman’s face. Not slowing her pace, the woman’s hair shifted colors as her aura exploded around her. Her emerald eyes shifted to blue, as the woman stopped directly in front of Pin. His words reached her, an offer for the hybrid to defuse her aura and stand down. If she did, he would offer her a free pass and front-row seats to watch this fiasco play out. Tentacles suddenly shot out from behind his back, all equipped with whirring drills, as he threatened the hybrid’s life if she didn’t accept. It’s a generous offer...but I could never trust something a member of the Solar Saiyan Empire offered me. My trust is in Virtual Poi...but it’s not right to kill anyone without a reason. Even though this android is threatening me with a gruesome death, I won’t hold it against him.Holding one hand out, the hybrid glanced towards the Saiyan warrior and nodded. Acknowledging everyone in a fight prior to it was proper etiquette. The Blue Banner warrior smiled curtly at the android, closing her eyes as she leaned forward. “I’m going to politely decline your offer, on both accounts. Virtual Poi has offered the entirety of the Solar Saiyan Empire a fair deal. But...if that doesn’t sit well with you. Let me introduce myself formerly to you and your companion. Tulip Waterfield, low-ranking member of the Ki Assault Operations Squad. I’m here to deter and aid the Premiere in whatever way I can. Go ahead, shake my hand so we can formally start this whole mess.” The woman’s energy was slowly building, as she muttered under her breath. “... and I won’t kill anyone, even if that ends up being the death of me.”

“Xylo has never beaten me, my soldiers maybe, but not me. I had hoped that Vennel and Kaza would be capable of taking him and his demon down as they were armed with the knowledge of how Ouroboros functions and the power of a full moon to fuel Vennel’s transformation. Unfortunately, Xylo has grown substantially stronger since his takeover of Arcose. But then perhaps we have YOU to thank for that.” Habana said with a scowl, she might not have gotten to see Vi’s display of the image of a beaten Xylo but through the scouters of her soldiers she HAD picked up his claim to have done so.
“If you DID defeat Xylo as you claim then WHY IS HE STILL AROUND, why did YOU allow him to continue on if you are so invested in his ultimate defeat? You’re either a liar for claiming to have already beaten him, somehow a greater fool than I thought for just doing this, OR you have some investment in Xylo still being out in the world doing all the same things you so readily choose to chastise ME for”
“I took those worlds to deny them to Xylo and force him into action, if he wants those worlds as it is quite obvious with his takeover of Raiti and Arcose and his beginning of an attack on Beppa are evidence then removing more worlds and taking back the worlds he has already claimed are the best ways to force him into the open. Beyond that I never made any claims that I had any intention of never looking to take those worlds, our peace was between our worlds, not the Arcosian worlds. The Arcosians have been broken and floundering since the first war, their worlds will benefit from joining the Empire and having others willing to come to their aid.”Habana wanted to go on more but the large machine that Vi had brought with him was emitting a clear feeling of a rise in its energy, it was preparing an attack of some sort and on top of that the large war- Habana’s mind briefly paused as she really looked at the man who was charging Ginge, he was strangely.. Familiar but not in an ‘i’ve fought him’ sort of way or in the same way she recognized other accomplished warriors. Whoever he was it was not as important as the fact he was attacking one of her warriors, even if Ginge was admittedly a bit foolish to go in ready to strike. “Raca” Habana needed only to say his name for the Namekian to know what to do, he launched forward placing himself in the path between Ornion and Ginge “It’s a bit cowardly to attack those so much weaker than you, I think I will make a more interesting opponent. I am Raca of Queen Habana’s Royal Guard.” Raca said slipping into a fighting stance reminiscent of the Namekian Warrior clan. With the golden man effectively dealt with for the moment Habana wanted to return her focus to Vi, however this was the delayed by several VERY important arrivals. The first was Bing Gan, the former guardian, and thankfully due to the dragon balls also former Android. Despite having no direct hand in what had happened to him she still felt bad about it, perhaps if she had paid more attention to what Zucc was doing she could have realized what was up. Then again it likely would NOT have been hard for Zucceta to convine her it was all fine, Habana had always found it hard to find fault in her and if she DID she more often than not let it go any way in favor of believing her friend had a bigger plan. At least for the moment it seemed that Bing was while mostly on Vi’s side he was NOT fond of the proceedings, perhaps some logic could be brought to the Premier through his ally. It was when the chime that signaled Maeve’s arrival rang that Habana began to worry just a bit if Bing was at Vi’s side even if Maeve did not agree with him would she REALLY be willing to side against Bing? Habana was genuinely surprised to find that Maeve was MORE than willing to do so, though from what she said it was less that she was here specifically to side with Habana and more to side against Vi’s actions and to seek to push thing in the direction of Ouroboro’s destruction. Habana had not thought particularly much of the demon that served Xylo other than that she was eager for a chance to fight it. He had reached a power that would have rivaled Vi at this moment back on Namek, but on Arcose he had been substantially weaker even if that was all he had needed when backed up by Xylo’s own increased power. Maeve seemed to think that the demon was the important one however which raised Habana’s curiosity, if only they were not on the verge of battle she’d have inquired a bit more about that. Even if Maeve was not entirely pleased with her Habana was happy to know that she had the Kami’s backing in this if things did come to blows as they were looking more and more likely to. Her joy at Maeve’s arrival and aid was matched only by the next arrival, she was so distracted by Bing, Maeve, and of course Poi himself that her arrival had taken Habana off guard, she had mostly resigned herself to the possibility Zucceta would simply not respond again. Habana’s attention was at least for a few moment entirely focused on her a wide grin forming even if Zucceta had not quite made her position clear and more seemed just generally angry at everyone. It was long enough that Habana only barely registered the actions of Ginge, Etoru, Pin, and Cipher’s arrival. It was the arrival of the teal Arcosian and the fact he had spoken to her directly that snapped her back to reality, she raised an eyebrow at the stranger who claimed to be close with Maeve, that was ordinarily enough to put someone on her good side until they did something foolish but now was not the time for quick acceptance of strangers. “Don’t presume to place the prejudices of others on me, I don't CARE that you are an Arcosian. Your ‘Empire’ has been a barely functional mess for a while. War between the Arcosians and Saiyans does nothing for us anymore, we would be better together. No ounce of proper resistance was brought when I took Beppa into the Empire. The next time it saw an invasionary force at its doorstep they were met by the Empire’s protection instead of the absent rule of the AE.” She wasn’t overly fond of being treated as she had some automatic hatred of the Arcosians simply because, it was common among Saiyans, Habana had long since learned to judge others as individuals rather than what they were. Habana had expected that the strange Arcosian would be her last surprise for the day, but that was of course not the case. Perhaps it would have been best to more explicitly tell her DO NOT COME, but at this point with as many warriors of great power that they had… perhaps the Empire COULD push the Premier back with Shemha here. ”I know for certain Ginge, Pin, Raca, Jala and Maeve are at our side. I can't see why Zucceta wouldn't but she seems strangely just generally angry. Cipher is an unknown, he’s acted mostly peacefully but DOES serve Poi. Bing claims to be on Poi’s side but is as expected a voice of reason, perhaps with Maeve here he can be swayed to at least not act. Etoru is a complete unknown considering Maeve and Bing are split on this. Even if I tried to convince you otherwise... I'm glad you’re here Shem.”Habana cringed at the KAOS warrior offering a handshake to Pin, she was a super Saiyan and if Pin wanted to compete or try to exceed her he was GOING to need to Overdrive and that could have disastrous consequences. She tapped her scouter a few times rapidly trying to get a message to Pin and upon thinking of it also to Ginge, the girl was FAR too like herself to be trusted to not attack. While Poi had already given orders for his warriors to attack she would much prefer if they were the ones to actually throw the first blow. [Let them make the first move] was the simple message sent out to the duo most likely to do something foolish. With the large mech building up power Jala did not need any orders to make the decision to start doing so herself, she knew it was likely Habana would not want to attack first so simply seeking to match it’s power was the best she could do for now, her index and pointer fingers beginning to glow as she focused her energy.

Vi-Poi had some pleasant surprises, and a lot of not-so-pleasant ones.
Bing showed, and stood with him. When Bing raised his doubts, Vi-Poi replied, “We’re not the same as them. They’re trying to take over the galaxy. We're trying to stop them,” His blue eyes shifted up to his long-time friend and new martial arts master. When he spoke now, it was softer, so that only Bing could hear. “That hawdawg stuff is just to dangle a good cost over their queen. I have enough headache running Earth, think I want the whole Universe bitching at me? The only thing these suckers want is more power, and the only thing they’ll respond to is the threat to take it away. Gotta show them some teeth.”
When Maeve came though, and immediately started gathering her strength against him, Vi-Poi was both shocked and dismayed. A sour taste rose in his throat, and it took the android a few moments to realize that he was tasting bile from the pit of his stomach. He was queasy with anger, a hot sensation that made his limbs both watery and electrified at the same time.
The hand by his side turned into a fist, alloyed knuckles cracking audibly. Vi-Poi glowered at the Guardian of Earth. “I thought the Kamis were pure-hearted. What are you doing slinging for Slaves ‘N Planets ‘R Us? Some Guardian you are. Who’s watching the shop while you’re gone? I guess your new job as SSE Ambassador takes precedent, huh?” He stepped forward against Maeve. “What a self-righteous bunch of baloney. You’re fighting me to protect Earth, gimme a break. Think these wolves behind you got Earth’s best interest in mind? Be honest -- you’re doing this to safeguard your friend’s conquest of the galaxy. Some Guardian you are,” He repeated, his anger flaring. The glow around his shoulders brightened into a beam.
Things really got craptacular when Zucceta landed in her behemoth flagship Imperator. It wasn’t seeing his old nemesis-turned friend that sent him off. He was glad to see her, even though he figured there was a chance they’d up fighting. Even though her chastisement stung a little, since Vi-Poi woulda thought that if anyone understood the problem imposed by the SSE swallowing the galaxy, it would be Lady Death. No, what really got his guts leaping in circles was seeing Cipher mosey on out behind her, and quietly square off against Oxhead.
“Now I know why you’d never do the KAOS Pose, you dirty fucker!” Vi-Poi yelled, tears already stinging his eyes. He almost lost all control, nearly overwhelmed by an immense urge to leap at Cipher and blast him to bits, Vegeta and the Universe be damned. This wasn’t the same as Tekuma’s betrayal. Tekuma had been a new hire, and had washed out the first chance she got. This was much different. Cipher had been with Vi-Poi from the beginning. He’d been in the Battle of the West. He’d been in the Saiyan War. And now he was silently betraying Vi-Poi, siding with the same bunch of shitheads that would happily enslave Earth if only they could.
How long had it been? Vi-Poi wondered as he glared menacingly at Cipher. How long have you been two-timing me, you rat bastard?
Vi-Poi tapped in a quick series of commands on his POW glove, removing Cipher’s BBA clearance and revoking all of his credentials. At least the folks back home would know of Cipher's treachery. Fuck him! His breath was shivering out his nose, and his shoulders rose and fell heavily.
Get control of yourself. An inner-voice said as the thing he sensed as Shemha and, in some unqualified and subconscious way, Walker, arrived. The voice was his machine half, his old self, he knew, the cold confines that freely melded with his boiling spirit, combined with it, tampering it. These Saiyans will destroy you in an instant if you let your guard down.
Vi-Poi drew in a ragged breath, wiping some snot from his nose with the black sleeve of his underarmor. When he breathed out, it was calm. His heart still stung with betrayal, but it was something he could think of in a removed, abstract way. Defrosch was here, and trying to be diplomatic. But he knew it wouldn’t work. It hadn’t worked before. The only thing that these Imperials reasoned with was high-energy chi.
Off in distance, the Majin movie star was starting to power up, grimly facing the Namekian.
Vi-Poi turned to his old nemesis, his old friend. “You know how this thing works, Zucceta,” He said. “They’re going to keep rolling through the galaxy until something stops them. Well, I’m going to be that something. If talking worked, it would have by now. It’s not like I haven’t tried. The only thing they respond to is strength. It’s why they’re so dangerous.” His chin bobbed in a nod of acknowledgement. “You saw it too. It’s why you changed.” He thumbed over his shoulder at Ginge. “What happens when soldiers like her go Super Saiyan? What happens where there are a hundred Super Saiyans like her? A thousand? You wanna live in a Universe where the Solar Saiyan Empire rolls onward and there’s nothing to stop them? I won’t.”
He stepped carefully around Zucceta, towards Habana. He hoped she wouldn’t hit him. That he wouldn’t have to fight her. But he would if he had to. He’d die if he had to. This was more important than his life and his friendships. Walking against Habana’s aura was hard, but his own was brimming against it, a bright and compact auric bullet in a larger golden sea.
“Know what I think?” Vi-Poi said to the queen when she was done. “I think you’re full of shit. I think you’re full of shit, running low on excuses, and hoping time runs out for the rest of us before your excuses do. No ounce of proper resistance was brought when you took Beppa, huh? So it’s not bad as long as nobody can stop you? Might makes right -- sounds pretty friggin evil to me. You’re invading an empire filled with billions of people. If you don’t think there’s resistance you’re misinformed or delusional.” His eyes darkened. “But I don’t think you’re either. I think you’re lying. I think you’re hiding behind your friendships and a bunch of weak platitudes while you’re setting yourself up to be Queen of the Galaxy. Tell me, am I far off?”
The wind rose around them. The scuffed toe of one of his red Warpverse sneakers dragged into the ground. It was making a line in the dirt. “How many slaves have you made of the Arcosians?” He asked Habana. “Is your deep space prison bursting at the seams? Sell any good planets lately, or are you just hoping to blow the cores open and harvest the minerals?” His voice was light and sassy again, though his heart was heavy. Vi-Poi slowly stepped across the line he’d made, knowing there was no going back now.
His sad heart bloomed open, and energy flooded his circuits. The golden aura became a shining beacon of white light that evaporated from his shoulders in streaming sparks. A new joy began to flood into him, and he felt alive.
Vi-Poi flowed into Serpent Stance. The ground quaked.
“Be proud, queen. I haven’t gotten serious in a long time.”
He shot at her, whirling like lightning. His hands made hot blue rivers in the air that screamed towards Habana. At the last moment they crashed together, forming the biting maw of a snake that lunged for the queen.

Bing's hope that his words would change the course of this fight had failed him. As foolish a hope it was, he had to give it a shot. It was clear in the way the Premier spoke, though. He was here for a fight, and only a fight would satiate his annoyance. The Former Kami clenched his fists, and sighed. He didn't like it, but he wouldn't let his friend fight alone. "Right... Show our teeth."A voice pierced Bing's mind in a moment, coming from someone he thought was dead. He turned to see Mimikku on the opposite side of this conflict. Despite her allegiance, she relayed some information to the former Kami. He smiled, and nodded in her direction. To say things were ramping up would be an immeasurable understatement. More people were showing up, and now, people Bing deeply cared for had shown themselves. Zucceta was, despite a rocky start, a good friend... Maybe. She was angry at both sides today, much like the very next person to show up. He didn't even need to see her before his heartbeat quickened. She appeared in a magical flourish, speaking first to their son, then to Bing. Maeve looked as beautiful as ever, and seeing her made him smile. "Hey, honey. I guess Akemi is babysitting, then?" Maeve apologized for interrupting, but in that moment he felt a pit in his stomach. She was backing away, opposing Poi. She wanted to stop this, but Bing didn't want her to get in the way. He didn't want her to get hurt. Before Bing could say anything, Vi spoke first. She insulted Maeve, and it struck Bing's gut like a blade. How could he say that to her? "Hey! She's a good a Kami as any!" Bing gripped Vi-Poi by the shoulder, his expression more stern. "She's trying to stop this pointless battle before it starts! Don't you--"But Vi wasn't going to listen. His anger was growing, and with it, his tolerance for talking faltered. The Android spoke to Zucceta bluntly, saying her own people just wouldn't listen. The Premier of Earth moved forwards, aiming to take the Saiyan Queen head on. Bing frowned deeply. There was no stopping this train now. Vi-Poi was about to put himself in a massive pit of trouble, and by the looks of things, he had fewer and fewer supporters by the nanosecond. The Serpent Master needed to make a choice; would he stand against the first friend he ever made in his adult life, or would he betray him, and side with those he sought to bring down? It wouldn't be a hard choice if so many people he cared for didn't stand on both sides of the boiling battle. He closed his eyes tight, and grit his teeth. With a single burst of Ki, his power rose higher. His aura shrouded him in pure white energy, as crackles of lightning danced down his form. It was enough to rival most of the fighters here, but he really wished he didn't have to use it right now. "Poi! Don't do something you're gonna regret okay?!"With his warning given, he tore through the air, stopping for just a second as he passed his own wife-to-be. He frowned deeply, before trying to place a hand on her shoulder. "Honey, I'm really sorry, but I have to keep him safe. I don't wanna fight this fight, but he isn't listening. He's my friend, and I can't let him fight this alone... But I know Habana is your friend. I won't hold it against you if you have to fight on her side, even if neither of us even want this fight to happen." He'd try to give Maeve a kiss on the cheek, before starting his descent to the battlefield again. "And if we have to cross swords, don't take it easy on me okay? Love you!" His mind raced for ideas as he closed in on the ground floor. This battle was full to the brim with combatants, some of which he recognized, others not so much. One of the ones he did recognize, strangely enough, was someone who looked nearly identical to Zucceta, save for some small alterations in scars and armor. She was charging some major Ki, and he needed to make sure that stopped as soon as possible. His hand rose up in front of him, and he let out a blast of condensed Ki. It wouldn't hurt, but instead, it'd disorient her with its dazzling light. "Sorry ma'am!" He yelled as he zoomed away from her, opting to take on another target instead. There was a newer arrival he had to focus on instead. A majin, who's power, while not impressive in comparison to most of the others, was easily the second strongest in the Solar Empire's arsenal. He frowned as he approached, aiming to clothesline her away from her spot next to Habana. If he caught her successfully, he'd take her across the courtyard, hoping to keep who he could only assume was Habana's right hand woman away from the main action. "Look, I'm sorry I had to hit you but I gotta keep him safe until we calm this down. You seem like a smart enough girl, so lets just keep things chill over here and... I dunno, maybe we can figure out a plan to just defuse things?"

Maeve's eyes widened as she listened to Vi Poi. She was so shocked that Vi Poi thought so little of her or her reasoning that she didn't even react to Mimiku or any of the others gathered. Even her own fiance's words fell on deaf ears as she just stood there, mouth slightly agape. Her lips squeezed shut into a snarl as Vi Poi fired his attack. She could only skirt aside to let it come toward her friend. It's sheer power was too much for her to dent so she couldn't stand against it. "Don't be foolish Premier!" She called out to him, dropping her weapon entirely and letting it flash away in a shimmering white light before it even hit the ground, her offensive power level also dropped as she tried another tactic in reasoning with him. "Stand aside from your hatred and listen!" She cried once more, voice increasing in pitch while her eyes squeezed shut as she did her best to make her plea. "I don't endorse this pointless war at all! I just want peace!" She opened up her golden eyes their normally faint hum of a glow was burning vibrantly. "We came into an agreement, at the coronation of the new Queen we said we would defeat Ouroboros together! With an evil that strong we will all be lost if we are too busy fighting each other! Do you really want to start another war?!"She looked back, horror crossing her features as she witnessed the wave of people all too eager to murder (or at the very least maim) Vi Poi and all who stood beside him: including her family. She stepped back, her body trembling as she watched them all prepare for a war as well.
"Why can't you just talk this out?! Why are you all so willing to cast aside the chance for peace?! Is this truly all you know?!"
Hot tears started to burn in her eyes as she stepped back and looked at the division before her. She felt completely powerless as her words seemed incapable of really reaching anyone besides Mimiku, and her family. Her entire body trembled as her emotions tugged at her from every which way. She hadn't felt this decomposed or fearful since her ascent as Kami and this flood of self doubt, concern, and worry was nearly crippling to her. Her endless stream of questions caused her to be silent.
Was she really only here because Habana asked? If Habana wanted peace why was she letting this battle happen? Why did the Saiyans take Beppa? Was 'might means right' really what Habana believed?! Though if Vi Poi really DID defeat Xylo, why on Earth did he allow Ouroboros to live?! Or at the very least why didn't he detain him?! Could she really pick a side? With everything happening as it were?
No...
Both sides were wrong. She couldn't fight for either, she had to find a way to make the fighting stop. Vi Poi might have started this conflict but Habana was clearly making little effort to stop it. They both were gearing up for war and she wouldn't allow it... She couldn't stop them alone though. She needed help. She needed...
...To breathe.
With an exhale, Maeve's water magic flourished within her causing any unnecessary thoughts and fears to wash away leaving only serenity. Her golden eyes opened and dilated before narrowing to feral slits. "Mimikku...Defrosch...Bing...Etoru...We need to stop this...We can't let this escalate any further... I...let my emotion get the better of me and was foolish. I was blinded by my love for my friend and my mistrust for Vi Poi and acted hastily. I know all of you will be at least willing to hear me out so...We need to group together and stop this! We can't let Habana and Vi Poi kill each other!" She spoke, letting her thoughts reach out to them.
There had to be another way!
Maeve has lowered her weapon and dropped her charge! KP restored! KP [3/3]

Mimikku continued to grow more and more nervous as everything just continued to spiral out of control. Things only seemed to be getting worse with every single second that passed. The words spoken by both eh Kami and others just seemed to keep falling on deaf ears. It seemed that the one fear that Mimikku had when she decided to stand up against Vi-Poi was the truth once more. "He is no better than Realigner Red... He is acting nearly the same in this very moment..." Mimikku would speak the words to herself as she felt even more powers enter the fray around the ever shrinking throne room of the Saiyan Empire. It seemed that the previous Queen had returned to come and whether or not it was to defend her people or not was answered rather quickly as she decided that she was going to try and reason with both sides. Though whether or not it would do any good would be seen.
Sadly it seemed that everything literally was going to HFIL in a handbasket. Despite the words and gestures from many involved it seemed that some people had nothing but war stuck within their mind. IT was little wonder that her people even survived half as long as they had underneath the Saiyans. It seemed that slavery was a better option than outright destruction that most seemed to receive. It was worse going to worse when it seemed another of the elder members of the Saiyan Solar Empire arrived after even more tense moments. This one was a Majin and a single guard and it seemed by her own senses both were decent powers within a giant sea of even more great powers. With every rival she felt smaller and smaller within the gathered fighters and her hands trembled ever so slightly.
It seemed that everyone was starting to get their marching orders from their commanders as Pin, Ginge, Tulip, and others were seemingly squaring up and getting ready for what was to come. Closing her eyes Mimikku could do nothing it seemed as she felt like a candle inside of a slowly increasing windstorm. She might get snuffed out in but an instant but she knew in her heart she was going to do nothing but stand beside Maeve. The Kami was one of the few that was speaking the truth within this insane situation. Watching the Premier begin walking and listening to his words she had nothing but the worst feeling in the history of bad feelings almost like the day when Ruto had been taken from her in the pit of her stomach.
The motion from Bing made her feel a little easier as she knew he at least stand up for what it was he believed in. No matter the side that he was on she knew Bing would be honorable. The rest she was not to certain about. Closing her eyes as she heard Maeve's voice within her mind. She nodded toward Maeve as she gulped once more and she watched Vi-Poi finish his steps and she knew what was to come. As every single step from the Premier came she would feel it drop bit by bit and a wave of nausea came over her. Swallowing as she watched Vi-Poi move into a stance she had only seen a few people use she knew the time for talk was almost over. She would fire off a message to Maeve as she had a bad feeling but knew full well what it was that someone would have to do. :: I.. do not care what happens to me but I will try and stop this. Even if it will cost me my life. I want this fighting to end even if it but for a few moments in the grand scheme of time. [/font]
Closing her eyes she would say a silent prayer for her daughter as she readied herself to move with Maeve to whichever side of the conflict she was going to be a part of. :: Into hell to try and bring about heaven… Guess we are always doomed to repeat everything time and again. :: [/i] The message for Mimi alone made her nod and know full well that this was true. The time for action was all that was left.

The tension was palpable in the air between the two primary combatants, and the ensemble of warriors surrounding the central conflict. The atmosphere was flooded with a myriad of aggressive ki, and if prior encounters of this magnitude were of any indication to current events then, soon, a storm would break in the skies above Vegeta's primary settlement.
Much of that threatening ki and hostile tension was directed at the ex-queen, planted in the centre of Premier Vi-Poi and Queen Habana. Many of the SSE, loyalists to the cause and to Habana, gave Zucceta venomous looks. Ire. Zucceta found herself grinning, a snarl drawn across her face. It was not as if she had ever been loved by the Solar Empire. But she had given them what they had wanted, and they had served her purposes (heinous and otherwise). There was no love lost for the old military queen. The Saiyan Solar Empire had created her, from birth, through fire, all the way to her monarchy.
Only now was Zucceta truly free.
But, she had friends, and people she respected, who still believed in the tenets of the empire. She couldn't hate the people of the SSE, but the monolithic whole?
That, she could hate. The structures and attitudes of the Solar Empire had, ultimately, destroyed her chance at motherhood.
Saiyans were indoctrinated from birth and beyond to believe in two ways of existence: the tenets of conquest and the core foundation of the Solar Empire, or the race's ultimate extinction. That was what so solidified the saiyan people as warriors and conquerors--a fear of a saiya-jin apocalypse.
There was a third way possible. That was Zucceta's newfound belief. But the third way was only possible if Vi-Poi didn't kill the saiyan queen.
Vi-Poi addressed the saiyan warrior, and his words rang true. However, to Zucceta, they also undersold the issue at hand; the individuals within the SSE weren't entirely to blame for the imperial entity. Thousands of years of planetary conquest had created generation after generation of fighters. You could destroy individuals of the empire from the highest noble to the lowliest soldier, but only with total destruction of the saiya-jin people could you stop the Solar Empire, unless you tackled the issue in a different way.
A way Zucceta had planned to discuss with the android, before she'd heard that he'd jetted off to her home-planet.
As the android stepped past Zucceta, she realised what had to be coming next. She had seen that same determined look in his eyes back in a forest on Earth, after a number of Blue Banner soldiers had met a cruel fate at Zucceta's hand. A hand that had been lost shortly afterwards, mangled by a colder version of Vi-Poi and then self-severed in an act of defiance.
The Furiosa MKIV curls into a fist, metal joints groaning with the strain.
A hard choice was coming.
Ignoring the stares from Ginge, Pin, and several other bemused-looking saiyans in the crowd gathering around the fighters, Zucceta looked over to Defrosch and nodded. His affirmation of her truth was comforting, even if it fell on mostly deaf ears.
Lady Death sympathised with Queen Habana's justification of her military actions. If Vi-Poi had confronted Xylo, and ultimately made a prior deal with Zucceta's oldest friend to defeat the demon Namekian, why was he still alive and active?
"Wait; if you beat down Xylo, in a similar manner to how you're planning to beat down Queen Habana, and he's still actively conquering and expanding his territory, AND you consider Habana to be ultimately similar to Xylo..." Zucceta trailed off, coal eyes staring at the back of the young android's blue-capped head. Something wasn't quite adding up.
Unless Vi-Poi was intending to kill Habana from the get-go.
The sea of ki-charged lightning bouncing between the two fighters indicated that, yes, that was a direct possibility.
Not if Zucceta could help it.
That damn Hyper-Grade would have really helped me out about now, Zucceta cussed to herself. The form was far too experimental and intensive to use at all, even in a controlled training session, so she wouldn't be able to push herself that far this day.
She looked over at Habana, and in spite of herself had to hide a smile of admiration for her power and form. She'd definitely be able to hold her own in Super Saiyan Full-Grade--but not indefinitely. Vi-Poi was just too powerful, especially now he'd fused with that ghost of his. Still, the fusion had lead to some weaknesses that hadn't existed prior. He could now be sensed, that was a major one. He was a lot more emotional (Zucceta would never go so far as to say unstable (she didn't have that right, given her history), but he was definitely more impulsive, hormonal. Could he even be hormonal?).
The question was, could he be rebuilt?
Zucceta shook her head. It was unknown to her, maybe even to Vi-Poi himself.
The saiyan warrior growled, unfolding her arms. Her android friend had, in the space of seconds, shot forwards in a great cerulean flash. Zucceta's eyes could barely follow the attack.
Talking was done. Fighting had begun.
So be it.
A white aura exploded from Zucceta's body, adding to the quaking earth beneath the gathering, and the great din of whirring ki and rogue pulses of lightning in the sky. She tenses her arms, pulling them into her chest, and with a short "ha" her aura shifts to a regal golden, her hair spiking and shimmering with the vast reservoir of Super Saiyan energy hidden inside the troubled warrior. Her fingers dig further into her palms as her power increases further, until her own blue sparks of lightning shimmer in the air besides Vi-Poi's and Habana's own electric byproduct.
Her power continued to rise, as she watched her two best friends begin to duke it out.

Cipher had expected a number of things. He had expected that Vipoi wouldn't be happy by his presence on Vegeta, for him bringing Zucceta along, and for opposing his plan to conquer the saiyan homeworld. What he hadn't expected was the explosion of emotion the blue haired android felt when he saw him, burst out with tears in his eyes and shouting out, before terminating the pale android's connection with the BBA on the spot. While being fired was something Cipher had expected when he decided to come here, it wasn't exactly in this matter that he had expected. He felt a little bit of guilt at causing Vipoi this emotional pain. As a result, he barely noticed the presence of the arcosian Defrosch, only just registering his reference to the saiyan he had met before.
Sorry Vipoi. But we both know this is a mistake.
He could feel in his bond with Porsalynne, even from across worlds, that she was getting an impression of what was going on. Cipher mentally tried to send the message to her to take Charlene off of Earth. The Pale Rider was still down there, and he had a feeling after this neither Cipher nor his family would be welcome on Earth for a while.
And then hell broke loose. Despite everyone trying to get through to him, Vipoi seemed determined to fight and go through with this insane plan. He watched in horror as Vipoi shot past Zucceta to attack the saiyan queen, with Bing shooting off to combat the just arriving Shemha. Though the way Bing carried himself didn't seem to hold the same hate-filled intent Vipoi seemed to carry. He just hoped that the former kami would keep it that way.
Hearing Maeve's pleas for everything to stop, seeing her almost breaking under the madness, only to calm herself, seemed to give some heart to Cipher. He would have liked to have gotten to know her better, but it seemed a bit late for that now. The battle was on, and they had to make sure that this madness was put under control.
"Maeve! Dacova! Kogami!" Cipher felt a little bad not knowing the Kogami's name, or Defrosch's real name, "Leave this to Zucceta! If anyone can stop those two, she can. Just try to stop the rest of the BBA and the SSE from killing eachother!" He looked over at Etoru, who had gone quiet and a little sheepish due to the conflict between his parents and Vipoi. "Etoru, try to keep Habana's bodyguard out of the fighting. I want as few casualties as possible!" He wasn't sure if the little saiyan would listen to him, but some semblance of order had to be thrown into this fight, even if Cipher was no longer a member of the BBA.
With the orders given, he glanced over at Zucceta flying off to intercept the two world leaders. He sent out a telepathic message to the saiyan he had once considered an enemy.
"I leave them in your capable hands."
With that done, there was one factor left he had to attend to. The giant robot oxhead who was standing off and charging. Cipher floated in front of the robot, looking at him as glowing purple lines formed over his skin, letting the arcane energies in the android fill him. "You must be Oxhead. A pleasure to meet you. I'm Cipher 24, FORMALLY of the Blue Banner Army." Glowing green energy formed around his arms as he faced off against the giant robot. He didn't intend to harm him, only keep him out of the battle. Just because Vipoi insulted him and fired him doesn't mean he was going to break his stuff.

In the moments to come, the situation only grew more complicated and hectic. To sift through the chaos and find meaning among all of the bickering and posturing was impossible, and far beyond the young officer's ability. She hadn't even the opportunity to spot the Majin ally of the blue-haired child rush for her, only to be stopped by a slug at the Queen's order.
That particular detail made the bile rising in her throat all the more sour.
So, Ginge resolved herself to focus only on the things that she could help: the female earthling before her in particular. As the brunette approached, however, she did something unexpected and exploded with golden radiance. What she'd thought to be an earthling had, in fact, been yet another traitor, bereft of her tail and acting against the Empire. Unlike when she'd first seen the Queen's ascended form, the officer grit her teeth and scowled at the woman as she offered her hand to Pin. Her muscles tensed just underneath the skin, and the growing mass of ki wrapping itself around her leg darkened considerably as she prepared to strike.
She would've attacked, if it weren't for the message to display just over her hate-filled gaze. After all, the Queen's order couldn't be ignored, no matter how she felt personally. After swallowing the vile lump in her throat, she silently nodded in recognition of the male's words of advice. With her hands shaking in rage, she raised her guard and kept her attention square with the traitor, as the massive bundle of ki only wound itself tighter and more dense around her aching leg.

Etoru frowned as he stayed in his own little space between all the feuding. So many things were happening right now! He didn’t know why they were even doing this, usually HE’S the one starting the problems. Vi-Poi ordered that girl to attack the Android and Saiyan chick along with that golden Majin that always followed Vi around. But, before any fighting occurred, one of Habana’s companions shot out, intercepting the Majin. Conflict began arising bit by bit, and all he could do was watch! This wasn’t any of his business, no sir.
And then he heard a familiar voice ring from across the walls. Etoru looked up to see a good face! Defrosch! Boy was it awesome to see him here, he always has a clear mind for things like this. Still, Etoru didn’t think it his little speech worked, and boy was he right. Habana clearly got annoyed from the way he was talking, and the arguing between everyone didn’t really get any less dramatic either.
Etoru stood there, fidgeting awkwardly as he watched everyone go at each others throats! It didn’t take long before the premier actually lunged towards Habana engaging combat. She was quick to react, and that was when whatever chance they had at peace crumbled. Everyone was fighting each other now, and Etoru had no idea what to do! He came here as a BBA member, but to stop the SSE, Xylo, the AE, or his own allies?? ”G...G-Guys…?” Etoru piped out unsurely. ”Oh brother…” he muttered.
His head perked up when he heard the familiar voice of his mother ring through his head. Clearly she was one of the people who was seeing reason! It didn’t seem Bing wanted to fight, but Etoru assumed it was just in order to protect Vi-Poi. Otherwise, why would he tackle that Shemh--wait, Shemha?! Etoru sighed, half expecting Chire to pop out of nowhere and join the fray.
No! He couldn’t worry about dumb little daydreams right now! This was the time to get serious! Every second that went by was a second wasted! There was a chance that someone could very well die here, so they needed to act fast! Heck, even Zucceta was ready to fight. Etoru ran over to Maeve, staring up at her, eager to help. ”Mom, mom! I have a plan~!” He squatted slightly with his fists balled up, bouncing his knees up and down excitedly. ”It was a super special secret technique I’ve been working on! It’s not perfect yet, but I did test it out! It’s perfectly safe I promise…?” The safe part was a lie, but, depending on how he used it, it could very well be useful. ”I just need people to cover me. If this is gonna work, I’m gonna need it at full power.”
With that said, Etoru grit his teeth tightly and furrowed his eyebrows. Balling up his fists, he summoned up a white aura which spiraled around him like a tornado. His hair slowly began to rise and flash into a golden hue. The strands of his headband rose over his head, and the white aura he conjured up blinked before transforming into a fiery blaze of gold! Lightning danced around his small figure. Cracking his knuckles with his metallic hand, Etoru formed a smirk, determined to show his stuff. Squatting down, the boy took a deep intake of air, filling up his chest which popped out forward proudly. His chubby cheeks were puffed up to the max! The amount of concentration he was putting into to it caused a sweat drop to run down his temple. He didn’t remember it being so hard… ---

Tulip stood before Pin, the golden aura of the Super Saiyan a brilliant silhouette around her body. Off course she was a Super Saiyan. Fucking everyone was a Super Saiyan nowadays. The idea of someone with that power standing behind Vi-Poi in his invasion of Vegeta just got Pin’s coolant boiling. Threw his pistons off calibration. Literally grinded his gears. She extended a hand and introduced herself, and requested that Pin return the handshake. He immediately began to run scenarios in his head, none of which involved being fair and polite in the face of a race traitor.
When Habana’s order came in, flashing on his helmet’s HUD, he paused. She wanted the invaders to start the actual military action. As much as it pained him, he had to agree that this was the best course of action. Reluctantly, Pin reached out with his hand, grasping Tulip’s.
At almost the very moment that their palms touched, Vi-Poi launched his attack on Habana. Pin’s helmet registered the energy signature of the attack, alerting him in its non-partisan mechanical way. At that moment, Pin was both furious and elated.
Furious that this Earth scum would dare attack their Queen, in her own palace. That he would take this action essentially unprovoked, while all around him - even his friends - urged him to pursue diplomacy.
Elated because Habana’s order no longer applied. The Earth forces had made the first move. Chains off. Rules change.
Pin switched his grip on Tulip’s hand, no longer a gentlemanly shake but instead a robotic vicegrip. The air around him grew hotter, and his own aura began to flare a golden orange around his body. The sounds of an engine roaring from within his body rose until they were cacophonous to those in close proximity. The Mama’s Boy had come to play.
As he gripped Tulip’s hand, he pulled back on it, hoping to throw her off balance and pull her into the rising knee strike that he threw her way at the same time as he pulled. But that wasn’t his real attack, more of his own sort of handshake - a formality of starting the fight with something a bit more mundane and simple. His real attack came from behind, as one of his tentacles reached around Tulip’s back and lunged for her spine, blades spinning in a wicked drill of metal and malice.
"Oh yeah, right. My name is Pin. Not that you'll remember it for long." __________________________________________

For a moment, Defrosch's mind stopped working. Given all variables that could have happened; Defrosch was pleasantly surprised with Habana's response. Regardless of the tension that nearly suffocated the area with aggressively and charged Ki, the current Saiyan Queen was admirable in that she was in control of herself. Of course, Defrosch also appreciated that his head wasn't immediately blown off, that was always nice. "A-ah-- Erm--" There must've been a reason why Maeve thought so highly of Habana, and this may well be it. The Arcosian held one hand over the back of his neck somewhat sheepishly. "My bad. I apologize for that rash assumption then." He couldn't help but give a chuckle over Habana's assessment of the Arcosian 'Empire'. "Pff, Barely functional mess? Hah, to say it the nice way, I suppose." Jokes aside, there were more pressing matters at hand and it would pay to not forget about them; it seemed as though Habana and Vi-Poi had some form of agreement. "Either way, the fact remains that this entire situation has come to bite our rears due to some miscommunication!"Defrosch's Ki flared rather abruptly (and visibly) as his pupils dilated when Vi-Poi began to slander Maeve. Bing's counter-point served to calm the Arcosian down. He knew the truth behind Maeve, and Vi-Poi did not. It was that simple, the Premier was only without some knowledge. Surely if he had spent more time with anyone here he would understand how they thought and felt, just as anyone else here could have done the same for him. Vi-Poi was no longer a machine built on logic, only just now had Defrosch realized that Vi-Poi could be sensed normally. While still mechanical, he was just as alive as Defrosch was. Vi-Poi's new state of being must have brought on some changes in his CPU, changed how his brain worked. There was now far more emotion in how the blue phantom-droid carried himself. Thanks to his friends as well as this realization about the Premier, the rational part of Defrosch's brain was still in control and would hopefully remain so for the duration of this encounter. He could still at least try to speak, to reach out to everyone else's better judgement. "Damn it you two! Wait!" Alas, sparks flew. To his dismay, Defrosch couldn't stand too close to the Premier of Earth or the current Saiyan Queen anymore; the pressure was too great. From nearby however, he could sense a peculiar energy. Partly familiar, but mostly not. Off to the side he saw a red Majin, one that had a Ki signature very similar to an old (albeit rather morally cutthroat) friend; Walker. Defrosch wasn't entirely sure on how Majins worked but he knew that they exhibited qualities of those that they had absorbed, to the point of basically having their memories. Last he saw of Walker, Defrosch was praised by the magical bio-android for his values and even cheekily teased that he could become a great father figure some day. Perhaps his actions during this encounter could further prove that theory. 'Okay, Defrosch, you'll need a plan. You're generally good at those. First, check what you're working with..' The Arcosian's eyes darted around, looking at the various combatants. It didn't look good. Too much to keep track of, too many wildcards. 'If your dumb ass had figured out telepathy by now, everything would've been easier!' Speaking of that neat little trick; Maeve had reached out to Defrosch's mind along with several others. 'Helllooooo~ So beside me, does anyone in this conference call have any bright ideas brewing? At the very least while Zucceta can reach out to both Vi-Poi and Habana, we are going to need people that can get through to each one specifically as well. I vote Bing tries to talk to Vi-' In that moment, Bing had whizzed past to intercept the red Majin. Fantastic. '-Nevermind. Maeve, you could try to talk some sense into Habana, right? What she said was interesting. If she truly believes that Arcosians and Saiyans can be 'better together' like we want to think she does, then she went about it the entirely wrong way. I'll admit, I'm not sure what the right way is either, considering what we'd be dealing with in that regard, but y'know. There's hope. I guess.' If only more people believed in true unity among all beings. While many that had gathered prepared to fight, Defrosch continued to think. Etoru also had his own idea, and while he might be a goofy child, he was reliable for his age. Whatever crazy stunt the pint-sized hero had in mind better work in favor of a non-lethal ending to this debacle...
