Ninjin had been recovering from the fight and trials that she had been put through to attain her new place. Now she was the grandmaster for the Turtle School. The new gi she wire was now emblazioned with the crest of the school she now led but as per her custom it looked no different than the other students. She was told that a symbol for her being Grandmaster was being crafted but she would have to wait for it to be finished. The fact that someone would do that for her even with the position she had gained had made her a little nervous. It was obvious that despite this she was not letting it all go to her head.
Making her way from the small home they where letting her use toward the training area she was being bowed to by the trainees that lined the walkway. Shaking her head, hand out of nervousness the half breed smiled to herself. :: Oh if Kojima could see me now… I got about a week before I have to go see him again. I hope nothing has happened to him since we parted. Despite that rough exterior he is a good man.:: Her thoughts where coming to her rather quickly as she sighed and made her way to the main training area. Where once she got there she began to punch and kick at one of the standing training dummies.
Starting with her kicks and punches she did not draw out her ki any as she narrowed her mind and focused on her strikes. Each being crisp and strong, but not enough to damage the dummy. Many students walked past her paying her no mind. The area around her clearing as she looked up into the open air of the training area. The ocean air was different to her as she was more adjusted to training within the higher atmosphere of the mountains. Especially when she had just spent the past days training in the range of mountains surrounding Mount Paozu. :: Focus Ninjin. You have a long way to go. A very long way to go to catch up to and to be able to defend this planet from all who seek to destroy her. Keep pushing yourself. ::[/color]
She finished her thoughts as she brought her fist forward shattering one of the wooden arms of the training dummy and she took a few steps back from it. Smirking to herself she let out a light chuckle as she stood there staring at the broken piece. Shrugging to herself as she let her blood slowly cool off from the brisk session of training had completed early.

Today hadn't been different than any other day for the young, blue eyed saiyan warrior. Earlier in the morning when he had awoken he took his puppy Sprocket outside for a walk, the puppies personal business and of course for a little play session. Seeing his own dog enjoying life brought a massive amount of joy into his own life. After that had been completed Athren took his puppy back to the apartment and put him in the cage. It wouldn't be too long in there but he needed to or else the dog would destroy more furniture in the Habane sisters apartment. That wouldn't be good as he already had been eating their couch. Anyway, that was Athren's normal morning routine. Next, his training followed, he'd then equip his heavy weights and take off....
In all honest Athren never really had a plan for his training. Each day consisted of picking a different location that he finds at random and doing random training sessions. Some of which included Ki and some of which were physical combat. Depending on the location he would pick what suit best for that area.
At this point in time the young saiyan male had found himself blasting across the ocean. His chest only inches from the wavy surface of the beautiful blue body of water that swooshed around underneath him. The force of the Ki had a massive effect on the water behind him as it blasts up a good ten feet above him on both sides. It was either the Ki or the wind affect he had made on the water below. It was a relaxing flight, it calmed him down.
~ Where the hell am I going to train today? I've tried the deserts, mountains.. Maybe some of the cold lands to the north? I need something different. Where.. and what to do.. ~ Really, The options had been limitless. He just needed to make up his mind and stick with it. Unfortunately his train of though had been broken. An island had been approaching quick and as he drew closer he could tell that it was populated. At first the beings were only little black dots in the distance but as he drew nearer he could make out details. They had all appeared to be wearing a combat Gi. That had caught his attention. ~ Fighters hm? Guess I'll check it out. Maybe I'll find some kind of training there.~ Really, it wouldn't hurt to visit. Even if he did stay for five minutes and leave it wouldn't have hurt. He'd rather check it out and find out what it was about instead of fly past and miss the opportunity to make friends or learn something new.
As he got closer he slowed his pace. He lowered himself gently to land softly on his white boots. Of course the water he had splashing up behind him came overhead and soaked him, along with anybody else that may have been close to the shoreline.. With his hair now dripping wet he smiled lightly. It was a refreshing feeling. ~ One hell of an entrance.~ He though to himself as he looked around.

Taking a moment as she collected herself from her laughing of the breaking of the dummy. Though her attention quickly changed to someone who came approaching the dojo at a fast rate of speed. The person that was approaching was making little to no effort to hide themselves from anyone who had the sight to find them. So in her mind it was either someone supremely confident in their abilities or someone that was out looking for a fight. Either way this could be a dangerous encounter so she ushered the nearby ranked fighters to take the younger students into the dojo proper as she stood out there.
Watching as the man came to land before her she watched the water come flooding over him which would of illicited a chuckle from the half blood if she was not serious in her current duties. Narrowing her eyes she looked at Athren as he mumbled to himself about making one heck of an entrance. Shaking her head Ninjin lifted a hand in greeting to the man whos appearance made her a little uneasy. As he looked the part of a saiyan and other than Vocado she has not met many saiyans that where actually decent to be around. "Welcome visitor to the Grand Dojo for the Turtle School. May I ask what your intentions are for this visit. If it is to cause trouble and issues then I would like to ask you to leave right away before we will have to step in and stop you."
Despite the words Ninjin would have her control of her power level to that of a high end martial artist. If it was to be checked by a scouter she would read in the hundreds at most. Even with that it was odd as she stood there in her confident stance as if she was ready and expecting anything from Athren be it good or bad.

It didn't take long from the moment that Athren had landed before somebody had confronted him. Hell, he didn't even get a chance to scan the place over! Hell they worked quick here. Though, it wasn't exactly a welcoming he had expected. The woman that had approached him had made it sound like she was worried about him being a potential threat. I guess in this day of age you really couldn't be too careful, especially with plenty of younger students around. Athren had seen where this woman was coming from. Better to be safe then sorry, right?
His ocean blue eyes would have attempted to stare into the eyes of the woman who had approached. He gave her a very light smile as she had done okay with the welcoming. Sure it wasn't anything fancy but it had gotten the job done. Athren's arms then came up and crossed in front of his chest tightly. Behind him his grey tail flowed about as it was dripping from the wave that had just soaked Athren. "To be honest with you this place had just caught my eye. I picked a random direction to find a spot to train and I was headed straight for here. Figured I wouldn't pass up the chance to find out what this place was. So instead of going straight overhead. Here I am." He said happily though he added on to it at the very end. " Don't worry Ma'am. I'm not here to hurt anybody or cause trouble." He said that reassuringly. He understood that his race had one hell of a reputation but he had been MUCH much different than them.

"So our dojo just happened to catch your eye. Appearing before us as you are I am thankful you are not evil. As you despite being a saiyan you have not attacked us means you are not evil." Shifting her weight from side to side she watched the grey tail move behind him. Her demeanor was unchanging as she looked at Athren. Protraying nothing about her own strength as she watched his movements. As the younger students where still being ushered inside she would remain between Athren and the children at all costs.
Rolling her shoulders as she stretched and cracked her neck. "You say that you have come here as we caught you eye. Ok say I believe this point are you here to test yourself then? As I can assure you that there is many here that will be willing to test themselves against a saiyan such as you. As saiyans have such a fighters promise that many of the pupils around will spar if you promise to not kill any of them. Unless you want to skip directly to the Grandmaster and test yourself against them." Her words where calm and yet had a slight edge to them. She was trying to pick at him and try to illicit a response from him to see if he was truthfully there for the reasons he stated.

Athren would shake his head slightly as to say no. Though he'd have a slight smile on his face at the though of him challenging this place but no. That wasn't what he was here for. He just got curious and wanted to see what it was about. He had training to do. Lots of it. He didn't have time to spar with any of these fighters. Though the idea did amuse him it just wasn't going to happen. "With all due respect Ma'am I didn't come here to spar or challenge anybody. I simply wanted to see what it was about. I haven't seen anything like this so far during my travels and I didn't want to miss the chance to learn something new." Athren was speaking the truth. He wasn't a liar at all. Sure, his race wasn't the kindest and they used lies and tricks to conquer and accomplish their mission. This situation wasn't like that at all.
He looked around the island curiously though. His eyes scanning every single bit of it. Considering he had a short period of time and not enough of it to stay long he figured he'd get to the questions. "So, What exactly is this place? Turtle school? The hell do you teach around here?" He asked curiously

As he spoke about not wanting to come there and spar made her relax even more. Someone that was not there to come and fight on a whim was a bonus for her. She was only partially recovered from her fight with her friend for the ownership of the seat so a full on brawl would be something she would be trying to avoid. Giving him a slight bow out of respect as he was making good on his words to not cause any issues. When the questions began to fly she smiled at the clueless saiyan.
“Well this place is a dojo. A place of learning for those who wish it. We teach matrial arts to any who come seeking the knowledge of how to defend oneself. If you would like we can walk around the isle and I can show you what I mean.” Her tone had settled and she was not as combative as she had been when Athren had arrived. Despite this she was still keeping a wary eye on him out of the corners of her periphery. Turning on her heel she began to walk along a tiled path through an open aired archway.
“And we are called the Turtle school as that is what the founding grandmaster decided to call us. Legend states that he learned how to fight from a great master Kappa in his childhood. As he aged he honed his skills and then settled down one day to begin training students. The legend states that he trained here upon these very shores as the young child and this is where he learned all of his skills. Some say he was a contemporary of the Great Mr. Satan and was a travelling companion and sparring partner to him. Which helped him achieve his great feats of strength and legends. Though those are more for the students of his own school. But here we are.” She had spoken as they had walked along the white tiled path out toward a white sand beach. The beach was empty minus a large stone mound about a hundred yards off shore and the markings of training areas in the sands.
Walking into the circle that was marked with the symbol of the school and a large chair that signified the Grandmaster. Moving to sit on the large chair she smiled at Athren as she looked at the saiyan. “So I would like to ask you once again. What is it that we can do for you, or better yet what can I as the Grandmaster do for you.” A smile crossed her lips as she spoke the last bit and moved some of her red hair out of the way to look directly at Athren. Despite her usual humble demeanor for her this was a crowning achievement one that she was going to shine in and from.

Athren couldn't help but arch a brow curiously as she bowed? Really? The hell was that about? Some kind greeting around here? No human had ever used it on him before. The most he had gotten out of a human greeting was a handshake though this was a nice change. It was weird, she had done that and hadn't even introduced herself. During their walk Athren had remained mostly quiet. Really, he was here to learn something new and potentially make a friend or two and so far she had been informing him of lots so he had already been on the right track of learning. Though some of it may not serve to be useful it was still valid information.
With her now sitting down Athren smiled to her as he had heard he last statement and question. Though he really didn't have anything in mind of their services he managed to splutter something out. "You wouldn't have any useful techniques you're willing to teach, would you?" Honestly, If she had said no Athren wouldn't have been surprised but it would have been a good conversation starter. Also, Thinking back to how she didn't mention her name Athren figured it was time for him to do so. "By the way, I'm Athren.. I'd shake your hand and all but you look awfully comfortable right now." With that, The young saiyan warrior crossed his arms tightly against his chest. Awaiting a response from the woman.

“Sadly I cannot. I literally got this position some fourty eight hours ago. I am still recovering from my fight. Also it is a pleasure to meet you Athren. I am Ninjin and I am rather comfortable. This place is something of a fighters dream for people who grew up here on Earth. As I told you this is one of the oldest schools of martial arts training in existence. “ As Ninjin spoke she smiled and even let out a chuckle at the words he had spoken about her comfort. IT was true that she was comfortable within the chair but that was just because it was new to her and that she would soon be doing as the school would require. Which would be to head out and travel the world to find students to train so for the moment she was going to be rather lax in her training and demeanor.
Despite this though her eyes where wearily looking at Athren. She was still expecting some form of fight from the saiyan even though his intentions seemed to be noble. To just learn and understand a people instead of giving them a knuckle sandwich was a new one for her. “I will admit. Seeing as you are a saiyan I am surprised that there was no fighting as I know that feeling. That burn and desire for a good fight. So Athren come and tell me somethings about yourself. You are now my first honored guest that has come by.” As she spoke about feeling the burning desire to fight she clenched her fist for emphasis.
The talk of fighting caused her ki to flare if only slightly showing that she was so many times stronger than a lot of the students within the ground who had come back out to train. Though the way she spoke and her mannerisms about fighting should of tipped off Athren that she had some saiyan blood within her.

It may have been a small tip, but Athren was more than knowledgeable to catch it. Though he wouldn't just state what he thought he'd merely ask about it first. He didn't want to be rude. "First guest? Well. It's an honour. Though, Something tells me you've got some saiyan in you? You seem like quite the capable fighter. According to your power level that is. I've met a few good fighters on this planet. One a Namekian, and two of saiyan descent. One human as well." With that, Athren kind of went silent until something else had popped into his head.
Athren then thought about her words. She had a valid point about fighting. Since he had landed here on this planet he was interested in getting stronger yes but through time the reasons had changed. He had went from wanting it for his own self gains to only wanting to protect and he had spent so much time training that fighting really wasn't on his mind much. Though, given the opportunity he probably wouldn't say no to a blood drawing fight. "Well, I'm not like most saiyans. Not anymore anyway. This planet has changed me for the best I think. So, What about you? How'd you get your saiyan blood.. If I'm right that is..?" With that, he went silent to let her speak.

As Athren spoke about her being a capable fighter she grinned at him. It was true that she was as her post was a given on this but she also enjoyed the simpler things. Simpler things like this chat at this very moment. As he went into those that he had met on the planet it made her smile a little wider. To know that so many capable fighters where still on the planet after the incident at the Tankaichi made her a little giddy. As she had assumed a lot of the fighters would of left to keep themselves clear from the fallout from that event. “I have heard that this planet has that effect on many people. Calms their nerves and soothes their damaged souls. Yet there are others that all it does is intensify their rage and eventually it overwhelms them and they go off after their target of hatred. Be is saiyan, human, demon… Needless killing for the sake of needless killing.”
Her words where rather simple in both form and pattern. She was not going to try and be eloquent at the time. Internally she was fighting over whether to admit to him that she was born of a saiyan and human but she figured there could be little harm in revealing this fact. She already knew someone that was much more powerful than this man and would not hesitate to snap his neck if they fought. Which both scared and yet exhilarated her. “Yes I am a half saiyan. My father Ruto visited Earth and met my mother. From what his Kagami Mimikku told me is that he was going to try and raise me to do the right things. To be there for me and my mother, but that was not to be. As he was an advisor to one of the previous kings of Vegeta he was usurped for his position by another member of his own family. So that is where my saiyan blood comes from. My mother however is human and I am not going to speak on her whereabouts as I do not want anyone to overhear me and send people to try and kill her as they do toward me.”
As she finished speaking about the people coming to try and kill her it was obvious the anger in her voice. There was venom on the words and she narrowed her eyes and seemingly looked through Athren. It was a stare that would make many uneasy in the upcoming days before she would return to the desert to continue training against Emer in their gravity increased hell. “So can I ask you Athren. Where is it you came from on Vegeta? I have not heard much about the planet as I have really only ever talked to two saiyans one named Vocado and the other named Toma.”

Athren listened carefully as the woman had spoken. He didn't want to miss a single detail for now she had caught his attention. So she had saiyan blood in her, hm. That sparked the idea of future spars of course Athren had been a little bit pressed for time as of now but in the future he'd be sure to find her in hopes of a good spar. Though, that was then.. Athren was more worried about the right now. He had to focusing on answering a question.
Hearing out her question he smiled lightly. His right hand came up to scratch his head. She knew Toma too? Well, I guess it was a small world and fighters did mingle. Now, Athren began to answer her question. "Where on Vegeta do I come from? Most saiyan's will call it the Barracks, I call it hell. Unlike a majority of saiyan's they were my full time home all of my life, well.. at least until I got shipped to Earth that is." Athren paused for a moment, he wanted to give a good description of the living situation and had to prepare his next words. "It's where saiyan's are trained and taught all sorts of warfare tactics and other useful battlefield skills. Usually, A saiyan will come into that world when he's ten. Since we're a fighting race.. Well, They like to start us early. Me, Since my mother died in child birth and I have no knowledge of my father. I was put in there as a baby. Some of the most brutal trainings I've ever been involved in took place there.. " Athren then went silent for a moment. He didn't like this topic as it sent a shiver down his spine. Not because of the hardship of the trainings and the barracks in general but simply because of the abuse he got over his appearance.
Changing the topic to something a little happier, he brought up his friend Toma. He was curious as to how the two of them had met. "So, You know Toma too!? How'd you meet him!?"

“That sounds like a horrible place to be raised, let alone be almost literally born into it as you where Athren. Being left there perhaps was your fathers way of trying for you to become an Elite warrior. Instead of being raised for the first few years of your life without learning to fight. You where placed there from the start of your very life.” Smiling at the man as she finished speaking she stood from the chair and looked at him. Lifting her right arm up into the air she slowly rotated it around obviously stretching out her shoulder.
“Well I met Toma out in a city during my travels before I came here. Really nice guy and definently not what you would expect from a saiyan of any sort. I swear he has a rather pure heart and is always ready to stand up for someone else and fight on their behalf. I mean we sparred and I felt that mentality in his punches while at full force he still held back as to not injure me. Which I found amusing as I could of taken his punishment back then and not really batted an eye.” Finishing stretching out her arm she mimicked the same motion with her left arm. Walking toward the ring in front of the seat she motioned for Athren to come join her.
Standing there she looked at him as she spoke back up. “Well I will say this. I was in the midst of my morning workout when you arrived. How about instead of sparring against one another we show one another our full power without holding anything back? I mean there is no one here and this ring is but sand which wont hurt either of us if we let loose our ki. As I would not mind seeing what someone who is a friend of Toma’s can do. He was mentioning a strong friend of his and I am wondering if it is you.”

As she spoke Athren listened. He didn't have much input but he did find her words to be amusing. Toma and her sparred huh and it wasn't a big deal to her? Athren was definitely curious to see her full potential but he knew that it was risky. He followed her up to the ring and smiled at her lightly. His arms crossed tightly against his chest yet again. Athren figured he'd explain himself instead of demonstrating.
"Believe me, At this point I'm MUCH more than Toma could handle. I've far exceeded him and I would love to show you.. and I'd love to see your power but I'm going to advise against that." Athren paused for a moment. His right fingertips beginning to tap on his arm lightly. "I don't know if you know, But there is a saiyan hunter on the loose. He's a tad bit stronger than me, that's assuming he wasn't holding back when he demonstrated his power." Athren shifted his head to the right to look at the beautiful blue ocean. "Only reason I didn't get to fight him was because of my puppy. Neither of us wanted to get such an innocent creature involved in a fight like that. As much as I look forward to fighting this guy I really don't want to attract him to my location. I'm not ready, If he comes.. I'm as good as dead. ."
Athren then paused again. His head shifting back to lock his ocean blue eyes onto her. "BUT........... I'm going to train. When I'm ready, I'm going to find him. When I find him.. I'm going to make him pay for all the saiyan's he's killed." His final words were said with a bright, shining tone of confidence. It would have been quite clear that Athren meant business. He was going to achieve this goal and NOTHING would stop him.

"There are many out there hunting saiyans. Some are just better at it then others. Hell there are saiyans out there hunting other saiyans. So I can tell you full well that I am used to people coming after me because of my heritage. That is not even counting what I know that my uncle is sending after me to try and kill me. So I understand completely." She smiled at Athren and shrugged her shoulder. Having not fully loosened herself up she knew full well that it was about to be time for her to just show Athren exactly how she was powerful in her own right and could and will stand before everyone.
Closing her eyes she pulled away the veil she had on her power. Slowly letting it rise up as she kept her breath regular and steady as she pushed her strength up slowly. :: Keep pushing Ninjin. Do not hold back any of your power and show him just how strong of an ally you will be to him. When everything hits the fan I will need allies and strength is one of the few things everyone knows and respects. :: Ninjin's power pushed higher and higher until she reached her limit. Though inside of her mind she felt there was something farther down. A more primal power one that she felt just past a fog within herself. This fog though slowly began to part as she pushed against it.
As she pushed the mental fog began to clear and Athren would feel her power begin to shoot up even higher than he wouldve expected. Topping out her power maximum at its highest limit as she did she spoke up. "And... this is what I have for power Athren. Why it is that I run this school.. Why it is that I will stand and protect this planet with this strength. Let those that hunt saiyans come. I will end them. No matter their strength..." As she spoke Ninjin clenched her fist as she lifted her head and peered out over the ocean.
The purple aura around Ninjin crackling with power as she stared and did not move. As to her she would defend this planet and her friends no matter what the cost would be to herself. Even if it ripped her body apart she will stand and fight both as the woman she was and the monster Emer had awoken deep within herself.
