Articho smiled as he watched the wonder grow on Gira's face, shaking his head slightly. "I'm only half Saiyan, but that hasn't stopped me yet. Saiyans aren't the only ones trained to fight and they certainly aren't the only ones who can be strong," he explained. "I could have been just as strong if I was a human. All it takes is training and dedication. Stick with your training and you can be as strong or stronger than a lot of people. The only thing stopping you is you. Understand?" After his little display of strength and attempt at reaching Super Saiyan 2, he let his energy disperse and returned to his base form. It had been some time since he'd actually felt strain from using his Super Saiyan form. He was close to Super Saiyan 2, he could feel it, but he knew it would take more than just a want.
Articho shook his head at Gira's disappointment. "If you launched that attack, you'd pass out for sure," the hybrid said, grinning. He nodded in response to her request, his eyes flashing with excitement as he shook her hand. "I promise, but I want a promise from you. When you're strong enough to achieve Super Saiyan, and you'll know when you are, I want you to come to me. It'll be special training, apart from learning the techniques of the Turtle School. As for the techniques, feel free to come back when you're feeling better and I'll teach you something cool. Sound good?"
"Fun fact: Kamehamehas are just as effective fire stoppers as they are destructive waves of death."
"I'm half-Saiyan too. That's awesome! I've only met two others." The teen hybrid released the other hybrid's hand. "But yeah, I understand. I'm not gonna let me stop me!" Gira seemed a little more serious, but she still had a smile on her face. "I've never been allowed to get stronger. My whole life, I was told that this power was a bad thing." She looked at her hand, clenching and unclenching it a few times. "But... i've used it to help people. I've never raised a hand to someone in anger in my life. It's like a sword, right? It can be used for good or evil. I'm gonna use it for good." She looked up at Articho again. "That's why i'm gonna get even stronger. To protect what's important and to see where the ceiling is, then go beyond it."
A look of realization crossed Gira's face. She chuckled nervously, scratching the back of her head. Then Articho mentioned that when she did get to that level, he wanted her to come back to give her special training. This excited the hybrid. Not just training, but special training. This would lead her to redouble her training. She wanted to get to that level as quickly as possible. Then he said that next time they met, he'd teach her something cool. "Something cool, huh? Sounds awesome! I'll be back soon then." Gira levitated up into the air, but faltered a little bit. She was running. After today, she'd probably sleep for three days. She gave one last wave to her sensei.
"Bye, sensei! Thanks for the training today! I'll be back soon!" With that, Gira floated through the sky, unable to go full speed. She was more excited than ever. She was well on her way to accomplishing everything she wanted. Articho would be a big help on her journey to power. Not only was he her sensei, but Gira hoped he could be a friend as well. Thread exit! I'll be taking PL please! Thanks for the thread Arti!
